alright, so I’m gonna pass out and PROBABLY be asleep for when the vote rolls over unless I set an alarm. so, let me make one last propaganda post, this time of a different ilk!

hi, I have heard the campaigning or seen his posts and am curious. who’s joe hills and how do I watch him?

hi and welcome! whether you be an ally or an enemy or anything else, I hope you stick around after the voting is done! joe hills is a very cool guy and I hope you like watching him. he’s one of the hermitcraft creators, described as the “original new guy”, as he was the first new hermit added in season one. he’s been here for that decade since! joe was added to be a “wild card” and plays that role well, often having a reputation for doing weird things. when it comes to his in-game build style, he’s a big fan of scale models of things, as well as helping out on any and all community projects!

joe’s hermitcraft videos tend to be much lower-key than some of the others, normally with minimal-to-no music. they’re largely recorded on stream, though they’re edited in such a way that they don’t feel like stream clips, but more like “he uses his stream to film video clips”. he enjoys wordplay, intentionally taking storylines and ideas in unintended directions, and marching to the beat of his own drum. if you’re used to the pacing of people like grian (or, for that matter, a dsmp stream), joe’s style can take time to get used to, but if you miss the lower-key days of let’s plays, he’s a great option for exactly that!

this season, he’s making a giant model pinball machine for his megabase! it has pixel art of the jwst deep field on it, and will have scale recreations of pinball parts inside. he also participated in the king ren storyline, has built elvira’s house of horrors (and changed the landscaping to match the seasons twice), and participated in the crossover! give it a shot!

joe streams five nights a week, with his days off being tuesday and wednesday. his usual stream start time is 9:30 PM EST. however, he usually has an afternoon hhh bonus stream on mondays (around 2 EST), a morning crafting stream on wednesdays with cleo (around 9:30 AM EST), and recently, a thursday morning bonus stream with his sister, quinn hills, a musician (also around 9:30 AM EST). he also does other bonus streams depending on the day and his energy. as you may be able to see from this schedule, he’s streaming like, all the time, so feel free to stop in! he streams simultaneously on twitch and youtube, so choose whichever platform is easiest.

joe hills streams are of basically whatever he needs to do on hermitcraft; they can best be described as “hermitcraft behind the scenes”. they’re also weird but in a specific, ritualistic way. his face camera will get bigger and more transparent for every 20 dollars in tips. the first time this happens it can be disconcerting but you do adjust pretty quickly, and it’s part of the charm to me! additionally, he has specific songs he plays during his streams, from the album he and his sibling made! they’re often parody songs, but there are also several original ones, and they’re all original lyrics and recordings. you’ll hear “lay your head down and dream” specifically after the first two songs while he’s setting up; that’s effectively his nightly stream’s theme song. you’ll also hear the songs during hydration breaks.

if anything you’ve seen us say about joe intrigues you, I strongly recommend you give him a shot! I’d recommend either a nightly stream to get the sense of the “average joe hills content”, if you’re considering becoming a regular, or to check out his first episode from this season to get a good sense of what a joe hills episode looks like.

It's really no secret that Michael Kaiser is a charming man. It's not that he openly seduces people or anything, it's just that he has this natural aura around him that lures you in. Oh he knows he's fuckin' handsome.

Michael first laid his eyes on you at a Football stadium, you were wearing a jersey jacket with his jersey number and surname, he saw it as you turned around to listen to who he assumed is a friend of yours, leaning in closely due to the loud cheers.

And boy, how he was so allured with how you stared back at him and smiled, looking at him with those eyes that tell him how exactly handsome he was. Something about you lured him back.

Kaiser was not one who was interested in the people who adore him. He doesn't really care to check who follows him, or who likes his posts, but as soon as he posted a picture, the first one who liked it definitely caught his eye. The girl on the profile picture was the same girl who had caught his eye during the game.

Kaiser didn't really bother with keeping your relationship a secret, but nor did he confirm it. His fans and the media just found out throught his random postings and stories. He likes to randomly just post a picture of you two and tag you or tweet matching lines with you.

Another thing is that Kaiser is a hard man to please and interest, so when he gets interested, he's never letting go. Oh, and what do you know, he's taking you with him to another country. He definitely does not like being away from his significant other. If he has to go to another country to play, he's taking you with him. It's urgent and sudden? No problem, he'll have an alternative way and plan for your other plans or activities so just go with him. You haven't packed yet? Don't worry, everything you need can be bought, he's filthy rich. You're worrying about getting bored when he's at practice or somewhere? Nah, you'll have his card, go shopping or something.

Being Michael Kaiser's significant other was a lot of things, but boring will never be part of it. He never forgets to show that he cares. Morning? Oh he memorizes the time you're probably awake based on the time you went to sleep and calls you to say "Goodmorning, darlin'." and "Don't forget to eat breakfast.", taking a break if ever he's in a morning practice. Afternoon? He calls you again and asks if you've eaten lunch and probably talks about new recruits being dumb shits or something. Evening? He comes home to you, craving your hugs, cuddling with you before bed, with you laying on top of him while he sits up, wearing his glasses and reading a book.

He loves it when you stare at him when he's wearing his glasses. He purposely wears them more often just to see how you stare at him. He also probably reads to you on your bad days, saying how he'll definitely make you feel better so just listen to his voice and stare at his face, he never forgets his glasses.

Loving Chigiri Hyoma is heartwrenching.

The first time he broke your heart was when he fell down during THAT game. As the burning pain dawned at him, his eyes locked with you and he instantly knew you were both thinking the same thing. The sound of people gasping and the footsteos of his teammates towards him were tuned out as the only thing he was aware of was the pain on his knee and the horrified expression on your face. You were heartbroken for him.

The second time he broke your heart was when he (unsurely) finally ended things with you. He tell you the truth, that he couldn't bear to see you hurt because of him. He couldn't bear to see you break because he does and says things he didn't mean. He breaks it off because he knows he's trying, but it's not enough. He breaks it off because the constant pain he burdens, physically and emotionally, holds him back from loving you to the fullest again. He breaks it off because he does not want to see you cry for and because of him. He breaks it off because he knows he will just break you. He breaks it off so he doesn't infect you with his toxic wind. He breaks it off because he thinks he won't ever be good enough for you again. He breaks it off because he's insecure.

He breaks your heart because he loves you.

Loving Bachira Meguru was young, free, peaceful, and warm.

Meguru was a lonely kid, thus, he learned how to have fun by himself (and his monster). It's not like he didn't feel lonely or didn't care that he didn't have any friends, it's just that he didn't care enough to let it get to him. He wanted a friend he can share his fun with. Someone that could keep up with his enthusiasm with things.

He likes to spend his summer playing soccer in large, greeny, spaces.

You just so happen to be there, staring at the peaceful skies, listening to whatever was playing in your earphones, and laying on the grass. He is confused, whether you're sleeping or resting your eyes, but he wants to play so either way he still goes up to you and asks you to move so he doesn't hit you when he plays.

It's New. He thinks as he feels you watch as he plays. It's New. You don't stare at him like he's a weirdo.

It's New. You think as you watched him play with genuine happiness. It's New. You see someone who's so free. Not tainted by the darkness of being caged by the world.

"Wanna play with me?" He tests.

"I don't know how."

"I can be a great coach!"

You were decent, courtesy of Meguru. You weren't what he really wanted but he finds himself really enjoying playing with you. All because no matter how much you couldn't keep up with him, you didn't leave. You rest, but you don't leave, and that's enough for him to stick around too.

He decides he wants to get to know you.

The two of you meet up again the next day, same time, same place, same game, same talking, and same actions. The same routine goes on and on and he finds himself invested to you.

Until summer ended.

He came back to the same place at the same time, but you weren't there. He waited and he played. He took a nap and waited. It was night, you never showed up. He wasn't one to be a pessimist, so he thinks something just came up. And so he went back the next day, same time, same place. He waited an extra hour into the night, but you still didn't show up. Meguru tells himself if you don't show up the next three days, he'll stop hoping.

And you never showed up.

He was dissapointed, a bit sad too. He had thought he could finally make a long time friend. He didn't understand why you didn't show up anymore. Both of you have never even fought before. Little bickerings over food, yes, but no fightings or arguements. He thinks you weren't pretending too, he's pretty sure both of you genuinely enjoyed each others company, so he didn't really think much of it, nor did he harbor any ill feelings. He's just upset you didn't tell him anything.

He keeps playing the same place at the same time, but this time not expecting anyone anymore. He goes back to the routine of playing with just his monster. He admits, he does miss your presence. He's still upset that you left, you were his first almost long term friend, afterall. He finds himself thinking back to that summer when you were there, and felling happy but sad at the same time. It was a new feeling, he never got this sad before. Whenever he thinks back, it does come up to his mind that maybe he might've done something wrong and he just never noticed. Or maybe you noticed how he glances to random directions and smile at his monster and got weirded out too. He smiles bitterly when he realizes he got attached to you at such a short time, and that's why he's feeling so blue.

Oh, what a Cruel Summer to think back to indeed.

And then summer came again.

He comes up the field, expecting the same warm wind and empty but peaceful scenery when he notices someone sitting on the grass. He stops on his tracks when he recognizes the same back, same clothes, and same hair of his old friend.

"You're back."

You turn around to greet him, letting out a sheepish and apologetic smile. "I am."

"Sorry? Or back?"

"Erm.. Both, Chi-kun, I can explain, I promise!"

He makes this upset, pouty face and sighs. "You sound like a caught cheating girlfriend and eventhough I should be more upset, fine. Only because I'm being nice." Nah, he just definitely misses you, but he wants to keep teasing you for the time being, could be a punishment for leaving without an explanation.

You explain to him that your parents don't allow you to go out during school times. How they're very strict and how you feel very caged. And he tells you how you got him really upset and that you're his first friend. It makes him feel a lot better when you tell him he's your first friend too. The same routine with you comes running back like a ball being passed.

Meguru finds himself letting you in more and more.

And you do too.

He gets a little nervous when he tells you about his monster the first time, and was really happy when you laugh it off and says who are you to judge someone who enjoys doing the things they really want. He tells you about how he got so used to being left alone that he doesn't mind it anymore and tickles you as revenge when you tease him about getting sad when you left. He smiles impossibly wider when you tell him you felt caged because of how controlling your parents are and feel free around him. He feels the same feeling when he sees the same smile on your face. He laughs it off when you tell him sorry in advance when summer ends and tells you he'll take care of it.

He giggles at your dumbfounded face when you see him at your garden, he threw a little rock on your window to get your attention. You frantically ask him how the hell he got in and he giggles a little louder, making you shush his mouth.

"I snuck in through the garden gate!"

You feel your blood pressure rising but you couldn't stop the smile and laugh from getting out.

The same routine, same places, same times, same actions, and same smiles continous to go on. Though with the constant interruptions, you both learned how to adapt your routine to the new events.

Not even blue lock could break the same routine you've both had for years.

You learned he got bolder after the U-20 vs. Blue Lock match.

"Ah, I missed you so much. I guess I really do love you!" He grins.

Looks like both of you are going to have changes in your routines again.

Alright I have just finished Season 1 of TWD DD and I have thoughts and questions and feelings. And energy!

I am very new to this fandom, and while I've done some searches in places, I'll still just apologise in advance for being repetitive and missing stuff. I will miss stuff every time.

I'll get Laurent out of the way, and even though it's all connected for me, the rest is Caryl.

#1 So Laurent. I have questions about his ability to see into the future. He was convinced Daryl would survive the Gladiator battle, he knew they'd all end up back together. Is this a real thing? Is it coincidence in faith? The drawing I don't care about, I'm not sure how involved he is with the manipulations, but he should definitely be able to feel that this is happening with Isabelle, given his empathic nature. So in that case, does he sense there is a reason to go along with her ways, for a future purpose we don't know about yet.

The empathic thing:

Episode 1, he says to Daryl "You're homesick. I see it in your eyes. I feel things. In my stomach. I feel your sadness." Episode 5, he tells Madame Genet that she isn't angry; her heart is broken.

He can distinguish sadness between heartbreak and homesickness- these are very specific feelings. Are there more examples? Not sure when I'll be able to watch it back. Is this significant? Is there a point to this? Is he going to make the match? Is he going to be overwhelmed by Carol's grief and guilt, though hopefully she'll just be happy and relieved when he meets her (hopefully!!).

"Daryl why don't you just kiss Carol like she wants you to?"

What are the rules around this? I don't know how it works.

#2 Second up! The boats. Is there any evidence that any of the boats have any significance? I know they probably just make sense with the location and the storyline, etc. But when Laurent cuts the boat loose, Daryl is losing his most immediate TANGIBLE lifeline to Carol and that is because a BOAT has drifted. A boat.

Okay, and also, I was thinking about this on my long drive to work this morning and I swear to the husks of dust on my Jim Shore Dorothy and Glinda figurine, Spotify threw THIS song I've never heard before at me. Yes, PIRATE song. Pirate song by mehro. But dear god the lyrics.

"Are you ready to let me in?"

"I've been trying to believe what I said is what I need."

This is such a haunting, beautiful song. I'm so thrilled to discover this artist. I'm not immune to dissolving into a puddle on the side of the road when I hear a new song that spins me out. I feel things so intensely. I'm going to do a post just for this song. This song is Caryl to me.

#3 Daryl's longing for Carol in a ramble:

I like the connection between Daryl saying "I have family back home," and Carol in the teaser clip saying Daryl is the only family she has left. It feels like a string, tying them together. Feels like they're on the same damn boat. Emotionally.

I just want to touch on the name dropping Who Are Your Friends scene with Laurent. Even though I have no idea whether this scene is supposed to have any significance or if it's just supposed to be a simple moment of connection for these two. Regardless, it is significant. Every second beyond about a week just is. So to touch on Laurent again, I'm just wondering is it possible that Daryl's a little guarded here, because he knows the kid's intuitive? Does he feel like he needs to be more careful with his emotions? He's already elevated. But he says Connie's name really easily. It's easy for him to say her name and I think that says a lot. He's trying to connect with the kid, so of course Judith and RJ pop up. Daryl got himself started, and there's a very slight gap, while he's thinking before he offers up Ezekiel. That's where he should say Rosita but she's gone, or Aaron (but too much missage? Their bond), Michonne's not there! Oh, Ezekiel! They were starting to get along? They had a hug and everything? I don't know. I like the link between Connie and Ezekiel though. Anyway Daryl has to say Carol because she is his heartbeat, so he manages to get that out and then he stops. No more names.

Laurent says they sound nice and is Daryl's response a little defensive? Even though Laurent's just a kid, he's a little intense. Daryl says, "Yeah, how do you know?"

I think that's interesting. Like he's shared as much as he's comfortable sharing and then he wants to bundle his family back up again. It's painful to talk about Carol because he misses her and he promised her and she cried when he left and she is his soulmate. She's a little too precious and valuable to be spoken about by someone who hasn't even met her.

Alrighty now I need to go find some gifs for that song post.

Hello fellow folks! I don't know when there will be an actual new update for the "It Takes Two" AU I've made.

Yeah sure, there was that 3D model I made but that wasn't even an official thing. So, sense I've been kind of slow with updates, I'll tell you all some of the lore with the storyline. I'm still writing the story, some things might change later on.

I bet some of you guys were wondering why is Julie "Rose" in the AU. Of course, Julie haves a strong bond with both of them and It make sense why she's trying to help them love each other once again. Also, I seen some fans make little comics about how Eddie and Frank liked each other in the first place, Julie was the one who got them together in some cases. I wanted to add that into the story, that's why she's sad about them divorcing. Now that they are ending their relationship, Julie feels helpless by the fact that she didn't try to prevent this from happening. Plus, Julie feels like she was the cause of it. When Frank and Eddie argue, sometimes she over hears them and it sounds like they are indeed "blaming her." Julie wanted to run away and go back to her childhood home, she tried to leave cause the neighborhood brought back so many memories of her and them. Guilt ate her up inside so she left Frank and Eddie behind, hoping that they can solve it by themselves since she wasn't much of a help at all.

That's why I wanted to go with the "Alternate Ending" route, to show how Julie actually feels deep down inside. To show Frank and Eddie's hatred for each other, by making their anger into something that symbolizes an existing thing other than it just being an emotion.

I been having a bit of trouble with the ending for the story. I still want to do the "Alternate Ending" but then again, I want to do the original ending because it's too sweet to give it up. I'll just have to see about that. I was thinking about cutting out the original ending because some of the story elements doesn't really fit "Welcome Home" in general, I'm still sticking to the logic of "Welcome Home" while sticking with the story for "It Takes Two." The whole level with May finding back her passion with singing didn't quite work with Frank as a character. Sure he does sing, but I don't think it can be a passion of his. He also sings with the others too, so there's nothing really unique with that ability cause everyone does that in the neighborhood. I know that Julie, Frank and Eddie does gardening and that's something that is common in the area. But I think it can be their own thing that makes a difference for the rest of the cast, since they love doing it and they seem to be the only ones who does it.

Hello, what do you think about the parallel between

Hikaru Kamiki—Airi Himekawa to Aqua—Akane

And

Hikaru Kamiki—Ai Hoshino to Aqua—Kana.

If Aqua as Kamiki so they said Akane is Airi because they both a famous actress and Kana is Ai because she is famous idol.

Will the story repeat itself? will they have the same story? but i didn't think so. The patterns are similar but the stories are different.

But seeing from the storyline, Akane—Aqua is similar to Kamiki—Ai. Akane and Kamiki come from the same theater and they are both very talented actors and actresses who have star eyes. And Ai—Aqua came to Lalalai when there was a project workshop.

I also found Akane's lines and the lyrics of the same Idol song. Where Akane says "Lies turn into truth" and is also present in the lyrics themselves, broadly speaking the core meaning of the song and Ai's own story match very well. Where Ai also wants the lie to become the truth. So far I've only seen "lies become truth" in Akane and Aqua's relationship. This can also be seen clearly from the development of the story between Akane and Aqua.

Indeed, the Kana-Aqua relationship looks similar but it looks more like Goro-Ai. Aqua and Kana have the power to motivate each other. Kana who hides her potential as an idol and actress is motivated because of Aqua's support. Meanwhile, Aqua, who no longer had any interest in becoming an actor, was motivated when he saw Kana and Himekawa Taiki's acting. The funny thing is that Aqua entered the world of actors (again) thanks to Kana's request. and Kana entered the Idol world thanks to Aqua's request. Their pattern never looks to romance (only on Kana's side and no reciprocity from Aqua).

Meanwhile, Akane and Aqua seem to have reciprocity and their relationship is developing towards romance. I'm neutral and care about the storyline. This is from my perspective as a manga reader and anime viewer ONK. I've read the manga many times and the thing I caught was like this.

And also some people believe that Aqua—Akane—Kana similar to Tokyo Blade relationship between them. And will be like that in the story.

How about you? Your opinion always blows my mind. You are a neutral person if it goes to the storyline even though you are an Akane stan. It's rare to find an open-minded ONK fan.

Hi there anon, thank you for the thoughtful message! To be honest with you, I'm holding off from drawing any parallels between Ai-Kamiki and Aqua-Anyone because we just don't know enough about their dynamic yet. I feel like once we finally see this Ai in motion, we'll all be able to have a clearer outlook about her relationship with Kamiki.

For now, I get the feeling that when she met Kamiki, Ai found that "somebody to practice [loving] with".

It's hard to tell whether Kamiki was looking for the same thing because we don't know enough about his background just yet, but it's safe to assume that he was every bit as broken as Ai was—likely even more so, if his murderous streak is anything to go by.

But yeah, all in all, I'm kind of stuck here waiting for more information. I don't really like trying to predict Aka because he can sometimes do things on a whim, like the fact that Ai wasn't supposed to die at all when ONK started serialization lol

I'm actually kind of shocked to learn that people are already trying to draw parallels between Kamiki-Airi and Aqua-Akane though, because we haven't even gotten a single flashback involving them. The only thing we know is that there was a very inappropriate age-gap between them, which seems to imply Airi was a very messed up individual who took advantage of a child. I fail to see how in the world people can relate that to Aqua and Akane.

As for Tokyo Blade, I do think it's more complicated than some make it seem. Akane plays Sayahime, who was supposed to be Touki's love interest until the mangaka caved in and started pandering to fans, but Akane doesn't fit that role in the actual story. She was never presented as the main heroine, so Tsurugi never stole her place. If anything, Akane's role in the story for the longest time was to be Aqua's ally, so she is the one playing Tsurugi's role.

Yet, Kana doesn't quite fit Sayahime's circumstances either, because her screen time didn't lessen and most people do seem to ship Aqua and Kana over Aqua and Akane.

So I don't really think either girl is a 1:1 fit for either role. I do, however, think Aka's biggest meta commentary was this panel right here:

This is the way people saw Akane up to that point, and Aka knew it so he lampshaded it. He even has Akane acknowledging that if she allows things to carry on that way, she won't stand a chance:

It's also interesting to note that from this arc onwards, Akane truly steps up to be the one standing by Aqua's side. So once again, it's a matter of seeing where Aka is going with it, though I completely agree with you that Aqua and Akane are the ones who have gotten all the big development milestones.

Even when you isolate their moments and simply put them side by side, the magnitude and intimacy jumps out to the eye.

I feel that we can objectively say that there is just no comparison. Aqua and Akane are out there saving each other's lives, getting to know each other, guarding each other's secrets, hugging, kissing, dating, breaking up yet still fighting to keep the other safe, etc. Meanwhile Aqua and Kana seem perpetually stuck, the distance between them hasn't lessened. Their relationship hasn't evolved.

Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean that they won't end up together either way, because this is a fictional story after all and the author can do whatever he wants. But it does beg the question of why in the world has Aka kept his supposed endgame so static while Aqua and Akane got all the mutual development lol

Thank you once again for the compliment anon! I think it's because I've won and lost love triangles many times, so I've learnt to recognize the signs that point towards both sides of the equation 😂 There's also the fact that I'm in this for Akane, so whether or not she ends up with Aqua is besides the point as long as Aka does justice to her character and to their dynamic.

I forgot to mention that Tokyo Blade-wise, I've always felt like this scene may be foreshadowing! If anyone is mortally wounded, I am fully expecting Aqua to get his miracle (be it through his own medical merits, through the Crow Girl or by any other means).

Hi anon!! I hope you're doing well!! I can't wait to see whatever you come up with, I'm so excited!!

Now for the 5 gifsets I'm most proud of (this list changes all the time but these are some constants):

eddie + drown by bmth - this gifset is my baby, it's one of the most ambitious sets i've made, and i was sitting on the idea for like half a year before i finally made the set. i played around with fonts a lot because i wanted the font to match the vibe/energy of the lyric, and this was my first time trying to make the blending more seamless and not just two side by side gifs

buddie + out of the woods by taylor swift - i struggled with this one at first because there were two parallel storylines that fit the lyrics, one from s3 and one from s5 of the show. it was the first time i tried using the hexagon layout, and i really like how it turned out. i also really like the colours i was able to get for this and the set kind of came together easily once i knew how i was gonna show the parallel

eddie + better than revenge by taylor swift - this gifset is also my baby alsdkjfkls, i has SO much fun making it because it's very different from my usual style. i'm proud of how the animations turned out, they really gave me a lot of grief when i was making the set. i also coloured a lot of the gifs frame by frame and i'm just proud of myself for sticking with it

buddie + reputation by taylor swift - this was also a lot of fun to make, and i'm proud of how i was able to nail the reputation cover style. matching the vibes of the cover art of songs/albums is one of my favourite things to do, and i like how this one turned out

buddie + euclid by sleep token - this is a newer one but i really like my typography here, and i love the metallic look i was able to achieve with the colours and layer styles. i also tried something new with the mosaic transition in the last gif and that was pretty fun to do

As for a set i'd like to remake, it'd be this buddie + delicate by taylor swift set, this was like my second attempt at using blending and i feel like it would turn out a lot better if i tried it again now. i also wish i did something more fun with the colours, because i was trying to match the bg colours of the gym scene which weren't the nicest tbh. and also i'd do more with the typography and make it more dynamic.

here's my orange blood review that absolutely nobody asked for:

sweet venom: i liked the mannequin challenge lowkey LOL it was rlly cool but what i didn't like was how only one set was used and the SAME mannequin sequence was reused, just replacing members. it seems that belift rushed this filming bc it isn't nowhere near the effort they've put into their other mvs. also, HYBE WHY ARE U ALLERGIC TO BRIDGES??? WHY IS SWEET VENOM LESS THAN 2 AND A HALF MINUTES?? like just imagine a bridge where it slows down a little and picks back up with a lil dance break... (i should be a producer me thinks) moving on to the positives, their vocals sound so good!! jay opening the song did it for me and tbh i rlly do like it. it contrasts bite me which was their goal and the "sweet hee hee" is going to catch on fast. plus, i'm one for upbeat, fun songs and im really happy that jay got to contribute to the writing!! i just wish it was longer /: plus u can see the michael jackson influence in this cb which i can appreciate

mortal: i love her so much. there's like A LOT of monolouging but the melody is really pretty and their vocals sound amazing. it makes me feel like im frolicking in a field fr. i love jake's closing lines bc it rlly sets up the storyline of the album.

still monster: don't come for me i know she's already a fan favorite but i'll have to listen to it a few more times. ITS GOOD THOUGH. jungwon's voice in the pre-chorus LIKE CMON. i think it matches the vibe of sweet venom, just a slower ver of it if ykwim. i think the performance will solidify everything for me and reporters said the choreo was rlly good.

blind: ONE OF MY FAVS. jay's vocals omg he is really showing off his singing this comeback. i cant explain why i love it so much BUT JUST KNOW SHE IS IT!! FOR ME. ((the "wait a minute" part HITS)) ((so does the bridge))

orange flower (you complete me): ive already said this before BUT I JUST KNEW IT WAS GOING TO BE MY FAV. (it has the same writer from bills, one of my fav enha songs) they really tricked us playing the slower version for the trailer TT (hybe pls release that ver as well i NEED her) the song makes me feel really happy and the lyrics are so<33 this is definitely a song for the fans with lyrics like "color my world... you complete me" again gotta highlight jay's vocals bc i love vocalist jay!!

sweet venom (eng ver.): same notes as written before but it sounds good in english!! not awkward at all and i can see myself listening to both versions.

overall, the members emphasized the storyline they were trying to create and that it was a continuation from bite me. i think with watching the trailers and knowing both storylines it makes you appreciate the message they were trying to send. the songs fit well together as a mini album and i can see why the members love this comeback so much. i just wish belift/hybe took a little more time crafting the title track and put more effort into the mv but what can we expect from that company... im extremely proud of the boys bc theyve been working nonstop for so long and it makes me happy that they also love the songs bc i want them to release music theyre proud of.

Venom - Stray Kids

So this is my analysis of the Venom MV. I will talk about three main topics:

Lee Know's role

Jeongin's role

Felix and Seungmin acts

And in the end of the post I will leave some unanswered questions that I will (try to) explain in future posts

Keep on mind that my idea here is that there are two parallel universes (the normal one and the oddinary one), that's important!

And also keep on mind that I am not a native English speaker and I'm tired, so it's probably not proofread lmao. Hope you enjoy anyways

Lee Know's role

In Red Lights, both Hyunjin and Chan face a mirror and nothing out of the ordinary happens. But in Venom, Lee Know's reflection acts on its own

That's where his role is explained, or at least I believe so. The mirror symbolises a "door" and the fact it's broken means the "door is open". Wich means: Lee Know can travel between realities.

But if he has the ability to just go away whenever he wants to, and the main purpose is to escape, why doesn't he? My guess is: he knows something is wrong. Which leads me to my next point, the banquet.

The Banquet

The classic scene that made everyone's mind blow off. Where everyone eats the food from a banquet but Lee Know. And seconds later, everyone is unconscious, but Lee Know.

That's why most think he is a villain. But actually, I think he is the closest we have to a hero. Please, focus on the next screenshot:

I know most of the time the lyrics don't match to the storyline, but what if it does here? What if LK knew something was wrong and was trying to figure it out and maybe even fix it? I dare to say he was even scared. He thought someone in the group was the threat (I believe in it as well) but didn't know who. That's why he gave the same treatment to everyone. And in the end he felt relieved because he thought the threat was gone. But I don't think so. And talking about a traitor...

Jeongin

Yes, I believe he is the traitor. And I think so because of one specific scene, this one:

The chess scene. Felix and I.N were playing chess and it was Jeongin's turn. He made the following movement

With that move, the king is on danger. I believe this means that I.N is the one causing the danger. And somehow, Felix is the one endangered.

Felix and Seungmin

I don't know that much about Seungmin's role in the storyline, but I do know Felix should run away. So why doesn't he?

Both of them could've escaped. They were so close. But instead, Felix sees the outside and then closes the door. "No thought of escaping" as the lyrics say. But why? Why would they keep themselves in that hell? Sadly, I do not have an answer (yet), but I needed to point this out.

Unanswered questions

Why was Hyunjin fighting with Lee Know?

Why was Han Hyunjin's target?

The arrow scene with I.N and Chan means trust. How does that relates to the storyline?

Why Changbin wasn't allowed to speak?

Why was Seungmin the last one to run away from the spider, alone and masked?

Conclusion

Besides the unanswered questions, I think I brought some important points up. Like

The possibility of Lee Know being a traveller

The possibility of Jeongin being the villain

The fact Felix is being targeted

Both Seungmin and Felix's role are related

On a deeper, personal level, taking a Type two, typically characterized by that desire to be loved, who may be reluctant or afraid to fully be loved, and pairing you with Gavin works perfectly because that aligns with his mindset. You two would have a delightful slowburn of a romance, something that sparks and smolders until he confesses you are the sky to his stars (my favorite of his lines).

It’s also a really fun, energetic song, and I do think you and Gavin would be the type who’d have and be so much fun together once you settle into that love.

Runner-ups:

Guy is a fun runner-up for you, because I think he’d love all the media you like and would be really engaged in liking them with you. Also, he is definitely a theater kid, you can’t tell me otherwise, and theater couples are super cute. In contrast, I like Lasko for you because of that slow burn potential I mentioned. WRITER'S NOTES by Cheri Steinkellner | Book & Additional Lyrics

How do you begin to adapt a film like Summer Stock into a stage musical?

Close my eyes and remember what I loved about it when I was a little girl, watching it with my cousin Cathy on the Million Dollar Movie every night for a week and twice on the weekend so we could reenact it beat-for-beat at Sunday family dinner. Key memories include: Singing on a tractor, dancing on a newspaper, and a pink painted sky.

Open my eyes, dig out my Judy Garland boxed-set and watch the DVD.

Close my eyes and re-watch the story on an imagined stage, with a diverse cast, contemporary social values, and a fresh storyline to match.

Open my eyes and write that. Then rewrite it. Then re-re-write, until I hit my deadline and can re-re-re-rewrite no more.

About that deadline: I first got the call in October. They needed a designer draft by January, a workshop draft by March, and a rehearsal draft by June for a July opening. That's fast, even for me, and I started my career in TV where you write and produce a new episode every week. But Summer Stock is all about putting on a show in a barn—so we roll up our sleeves, get up early, stay up late, and get the work—and the play—done!

What has changed from the original and what are the challenges of updating a 1950 film for a modern audience? That feel-good feeling of the original movie is still intact, but story, songs, and characters have all changed to be here now.

STORY: When I first signed on, I was given one mandate: No tractor. Heavy farm machinery wouldn't fit on the Goodspeed stage, so there went the film's whole buy-a-tractor/wreck-a-tractor/fix-a-tractor plotline. This opened up space to answer some of my more burning questions:

Why is Falbury farm at risk?

Why can't Joe get his show to Broadway?

How does a farmgirl like Jane suddenly morph into a triple-threat superstar?

And why is she wearing nothing but a tux jacket and fedora in that pink-sky finale?

As I wrote, more questions popped up: What do you do with a wanna-be actress who doesn't wanna rehearse? Why is a Shakespearean matinee idol starring in a musical in a barn? And what happens when you make show-people wake up at sunrise to muck out the stalls? All of these questions are asked—and I hope answered—in song and dance.

SONGS: The film features nine songs. Most contemporary stage musicals have twenty or more. So building out the score was a task. Some of the film's original songs like "Howdy Neighbor" and "Dig for Your Dinner" are repositioned and repurposed to tell our story. "You Wonderful You" and "Get Happy" have gained back-stories. To fill out the rest of the score, I turned to the Public Domain, where old favorites like "The Best Things in Life are Free," "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows," "Some of These Days," "It Had to Be You," and more, could be tailored to sing in our character's voices. Production numbers like "Paper Moon," "Everybody Step," and "June Night" are newly built on tunes that are nearly a century old, but with Doug Besterman's jazzy, brassy, Woody Herman-inspired arrangements, and Donna Feore's dynamic direction and thrilling choreography, they sing and dance like never before.

CHARACTERS: Looking at 1950s characters through a contemporary lens meant making crucial changes, not only in motivation—but in the people we want to see onstage. One challenge was crafting a story to support a diverse cast of characters with intention, authenticity, and care. I found my way in through the U.S. miltary. Special Services began in WWII and was one of the few army units to be racially integrated. I could imagine an ace director/choreographer like Joe Ross working with a gifted writer like Phil Filmore, pulling together a talented troupe of marginalized soldiers, and putting on a show for the troops. But what happens after the war, when they come home and their show can't get a break on Broadway? Hit musicals in 1950—Brigadoon, Guys and Dolls, Call Me Madam—were distinctly homogenous—i.e., white. Historically, it would be nearly a decade before a Black director would helm a Broadway play (Lloyd Richards, A Raisin in the Sun). So now we know what Joe and Phil are up against, and why they need this barn in Connecticut to put on their show. The Falbury family—Jane, Gloria, and Pop—need this show—and these show people—just as much to save their beloved farm from being acquired by a rich and powerful land owner bent on creating her own family legacy. I won't give away how song-and-dance save the day—but in the end, everyone does Get Happy.

What has been your favorite part of writing this musical and what are you most excited about seeing come to life on stage? If I could spend the rest of my writing life putting old songs into new musicals, I'd be one happy writer. Summer Stock is the second musical I've crafted "with" legendary composers like Irving Berlin, Harold Arlen, and Shelton Brooks (the first was Hello! My Baby, Goodspeed 2011). Bringing in these songs my mom taught me and her mom taught her, so my kids and theirs can sing them again, is my dream job—and I can't wait to see this dream cast hit the notes, find the laughs, and take flight like I can't even begin to dream.

V3 was finished, and I'm still not ok you guys : D

One would think it would get less painful as time goes on, but nope, still hurts like a bitch. Well done RT, well done.

I gotta start by saying the I may fall fighting sequence will forever have a special place in my heart. The moment we finally understood the lyrics to that song, the moment we finally saw Velvet fighting to her full potential, the callback to the trailers and everything Monty put into this show, the moment Weiss finally was able to summon her knight. It was perfection.

Also, the part were the music drops as Velvet calls on Penny's backpack will always make me tear up, and I always enjoy seeing the same in reactors lol we're a cruel fandom, but it's just because we understand.

Another also; the fact that Weiss just ran straight to put herself in between Velvet and the palladin even before she knew she could summon or that the knight would show up. That's growth. I felt so proud of her, she has come so far<3

Cinder saying 'not a foot out of place' and then Amber discovers them for Emmerald's foot raisikg diste, can't believe I hadn't caught that lol. I wonder how much things would've been different if that didn't happen, because it looks like the rest of plans were already in motion by the point Cinder went after the Powers...

Could've we have Pyrrha still if Cinder had killed Amber in time? I feel horrible for asking, but hey, it's Pyrrha.

I gotta say that as much as Adam is garbage and I always remember him with this picture:

His design is so fucking cool... I've always loved his hair honestly, and the Rose design in his jacket? Amazing. Why do cool designs happen to awful people?

That pink apron saying 'Please do nothing to the cook' made me headcanon Ren as a Birromantic Ace, I still think the headcanon makes sense so I hold it lol. Also, I still want one of those aprons, my girl is Ace and she loves pink lol.

I always thought it was so cool and sad how so many storylines got interrupted or just never started thanks to the fall of Beacon. We never got to know what Penny's plan to stay at Beacon was. We didn't get to see the timelime where Yang ran away with Qrow to meet Raven. Arkos was barely trying to raise from the ground when it was shot down. So many little plans that can't be anymore, because that's life.

I know it's a very serious moment but I can't watch the scene when Yang calls Blake to make sure they're ok and ask for Ruby, and not remember when Arryn and Barbara said that Blake and Yang are probably always on a facecall with eachother lol.

Tell me I wasn't the only one who thought Port and Oobleck were gonna die when they told the kids to leave the coliseum? I remember being so sad when Port said 'one final match! Place your bets!' and I couldn't believe it when they appeared again during chapter 12 lol. I'm happy they didn't die, they're so great <3

Speaking of 12. I still can't believe they released that chapter on fucking February 14th. That was just cruel...

Yes I'm avoiding talking about Penny... I just can't, sorry.

Cold being a song about Monty that also perfecto fits Pyrrha it's so heartbreakingly poetic to me... THE world is cruel, but sometimes there's beauty in that cruelness.

As a side note is it weird to get a tattoo of someones signature? I've always wanted to get something to honor RWBY and Monty and his signature is so cool...other ideas include a couple lyrics from Indomitable or Penny's symbol

Emmerald's face when she says 'it's almost sad' was the moment we knew she would get her redemtion. Girl's just alone and needing friends, I'm happy to know where She's gonna end later. I still think we must protect Emmerald.

Seriously I didn't remember how much I missed seeing Pyrrha fight until I saw her again. I wish we could see her again!

Speaking of things I wish we could see again: Roman and Neo fighting together was so great, it's a shame we only got one fight with them. Also, I miss how much Neo used to loved causing mayhem with Roman. Neo in the newer volumes always looks so angry and sad, she literally lost the one thing that gave her happiness </3

Seriously why do Robots eyes' always turn red when they go evil? Lol.

Yang talking to Ruby on that last scene Is the literal embodiment of "I don't care, I say caringly, while I care a lot."

Blake why you must hurt your girl so much? And we're now into the separated Bees period! I loved this period of the fandom lol.

Ironwood against the beowolf is honestly pretty epic. Good job RT, you really sold us the character there.

Remember when we saw the Arkos kiss, and that was the moment we knew Pyrrha was not making it out alive? Yeah, that sucked... And still does.

Divide Is probably my favorite ending credits song to this day. It's epic, it's dark, I love how we got all that insight towards Salem just after meeting her. Definitely a fave. Also, Salem's reveal scene always gives me chills<3 Another favorite part to watch reactors get to.

The call back to players and pieces with Ruby running up the wall<3 I was so happy for a second, then it stopped. I haven't been happyever since (?

And so it starts the very long list of things that Ruby needs years of therapy for. I hope that girl gets the happiest, more perfect life after all this is over. Protect the RuBean. And honestly just give everyone therapy.In a world where negative emotions are literally a magnet for death you would think people would try to take better care of their mental health.

Oh yeah, also. People who get mad at Jaune for getting distracted at the vault:. Dont talk to me. Jaune doesn't deserve that hate, I know I wouldn't fared any better, cut him some slack on this.

And there's that... Fuck this volume hurts. Great thing we got chibi to help with the pain a little lol.

I Know - Cut Capers - Seneria. The bouncy style suits her, but so do the lyrics of achieving what you want by doing things your way.

Enjoy the Silence - Depeche Mode - Mahesha/Izare but mostly from Mahesha's perspective. Their relationship was rocky for a long time due to communication issues. They said things they shouldn't and didn't say things they should. But after growing up they face a new kind of issue and he really wishes Izare could just trust him instead of always questioning everything.

Awake - Electric Guest - Retta. Not just because of all the sailing imagery although also that. But Retta believes that she was born with a god-given mission to end a centuries long feud between her people and another culture, and a lot of these lyrics just vibe with someone who is desperately trying to not only find a way forward but also drag everybody else along to a better future that at the moment only she is capable of envisioning. If that makes sense.

Style - Foster the People - If you didn't think I was going to say Ithea for this one, I don't know what to tell you. Too much of a casual attitude about living, dying, and crime to be anyone else.

Aspirations - Gentle Giant - Gheist, almost a companion piece to the first. He's much calmer and slower, and he trusts Seneria implicitly. If she's going to charge forward and force the world to accept her, well. He'll be right behind. :>

Smoke and Mirrors - Gotye - Iskandar and Clovis, but not as a ship, just as two characters who mirror each other. For Iskandar, pretending to be someone else to gain others' approval without attracting his mom's attention is pretty much his entire storyline. And Clovis, who has such low self-esteem and tries to live this idealized life to be 'worthy' of other's attention. It works for both of them so I can't pick. Maybe it's a conversation between them.

Hurricane - MS MR - The only one I think this really applies to is Izare. He's very wrapped up in self-hatred and self-sabotage for a long time. It suits him when he's young, I think.

Psycho - Muse - bold move to include a group who's entire discography I've listened to haha. But Sigrid. She naturally 'charms' everyone around her, but by the start of the story she's so isolated from no one ever seeing her a person that she manipulates and uses others with no regret, and plenty of enjoyment. Also, her original plan was actually to get the main character to kill for her. She doesn't manage to hold onto the attitude forever, but it's there in the beginning.

The Hand That Feeds - Nine Inch Nails - Lin Mingxian. Maybe not the style, but he very resolutely broke off ties with his family after learning a secret about how they got their wealth and power. Can't reveal too much because it's a massive spoiler for the story. But his only goal is to prove there's a better way to do things by accomplishing the same goal via different methods. So maybe this is how he thought before he 100% committed to confronting his family about what he learned.

Van Horn - Saint Motel - is there actually another option other than Anthem and Ithea? I don't think so. The peppy style matched against those lyrics is very Them.

3: What is your OC's fatal flaw? Are they aware of this flaw?

Reed: He's self-destructive. He's aware of it, he knows it causes so many issues in his life, he's not going to do anything to improve on it, and he's also not going to stop hanging around his main friends that enable this behavior.

Delta: They're too nice and struggle to say no to people that ask for help. They're very aware of this flaw and they try to set boundaries, but at the end of the day it's just in their nature and it's something they're always going to struggle with.

Mercy: Hubris. She's somewhat aware of it being her main flaw, but I don't think she's aware of the full extent of it - she's aware that her actions in the army, with West-Tek, and later on in the Enclave were deplorable, but she still insists on trying to pick some of those projects back up so she can redirect them and make them beneficial for wastelanders.

7: What's one way your OC has changed since you first came up with them?

Reed: I mean, he was initally created to be used as a pinup model so I could play around with all the slutty little outfit mods so he's changed a lot lmao. Obviously he still gets used for that purpose, but he's also a much more developed character at this point - he has a full backstory and personality, I've got a very detailed timeline established for his FO4 storyline with a potential alternative ending, etc etc - basically he's gone from barbie doll to full blown OC that's been giving me brainrot for the past like.. 6 months. As far as physical changes, he actually hasn't changed much - I've tweaked his hair a bit and I got rid of his little face tattoo, but that's really about it.

Delta: They actually haven’t changed all that much outside of appearance - I wanted them to physically look like Mercy enough to be mistaken for her, but there’s a stark difference in their mannerisms and personalities. The main thing I’ve changed so far has been making them look older to match their physical age, and reworking their synth features to line up more with the gen2 synths and what I think an experimental, in-between gen2 and gen3 synth might look like. I also reworked how I wanted their relationship with Reed to be; initially I wanted them to just be existing and doing their own thing and unintentionally traumatizing Reed every time they run into each other(which is constantly) and making him feel like he's being haunted by someone he thinks is dead, but not having them really interact beyond brief chats here and there like you'd have with the merchants in-game. Then I thought about it more and realized they'd work really well together as friends and that Delta had potential to be a cool companion, so I started going that route instead.

Mercy: well, for starters she’s in fallout instead of red dead now lmao. Anyways, she’s gone from being more of a little freelance vigilante with questionable morals and occult vibes to a full fledged character with an actual personality. I initially had her just as a namedrop in Reed and Delta's backstories, but the more I thought about it the more I was like "what kind of fucked up researcher is going to store their own DNA in the lab they work in, and in a manner that's going to survive 150+ years after a nuclear fallout where it could fall into Institute hands?" and it's spiraled out of control since then.

9: Do you have a specific lyric or quote which you associate with your OC?

Reed:

I know who I am when I’m alone / I’m something else when I see you / you don’t understand, you should never know / how easy you are to need / don’t let me in with no intention to keep me

Delta:

and I don’t blame you / if you want to bury me in your memory / I’m not the girl I ought to be

Mercy:

we’ll laugh a little / drink a little / see what you’re made of / I’m capable of making you disappear / I am the agent that decides your fate

24: What is an alternative life path your OC might have gone down? How different would their life be if they'd made those decisions?

Reed: I honestly don't think he'd have many other potential life paths - if he hadn't joined the army willingly, he still likely would've been drafted around the same time. I don't think he would've been in the same squadron though, so he likely wouldn't have met Mercy and probably would've died overseas like he expected to when he joined.

Delta: I think it'd be interesting to play around with them joining the rust devils or a similar raider faction. I also think having them up in Far Harbor permanently could be interesting. I haven't worked these out more in detail so I don't know how different their life would be, but with either outcome I don't think they'd be working as a junk & robotics trader.

Mercy: She could've stayed in the Enclave. She likely wouldn't have ghoulified if she had stayed and would've had her expected lifespan, so she would've died somewhere around 2120-2140.

Genesis Album: A Trick of the Tail & Corresponding Psychonauts Characters

I am going back to my musical love and singing again now that my headphones are fixed. So I was listening to "A Trick of the Tail" and putting characters from my current Hyperfixation onto them

Dance on a Volcano - Lili Zanotto Now, Dance on a Volcano is the first song on the album and I'm not just choosing this song because of "volcano" in the name. This 15/8 time song is about trying to persue a single goal and leaving others behind with your own talents. I feel that it feels like Lili's rejection of Psychonauts as dangers of the profession aren't quite on her mind but she leaves other peers behind and seems to not have a true link. A great match to her as the song demands "you better start doing it right!"

Entangled - Caligosto Loboto Entangled using dreamlike imagery and a floaty, dissociating, swaying melody to the slow tempo is a great match to how Loboto is acting, not entirely there, especially in Rhombus of Ruin. Plus, Entangled itself is a song about a person who is getting ready for a surgery. Using those two ideas and reflecting on Loboto's past makes this match very well. And then imagining that the different verses are where we see Loboto's family to his actions against the campers, and against Truman and Raz in Rhombus makes the song work very well with his story. Plus the line: "With your consent I can experiment further still" being repeated in the chorus is chillingly attached to him.

Squonk - Morceau Oleander A story about a creature who is so sad that it can't stop crying, yet doesn't want others to see it cry... coupled with the idea that there's a secondary story of a son trying to make his father proud by catching the beast... I'd say this has Oleander's story written all over it. With Oleander trying his best to make his family proud (getting into the military) after everything that he'd been through with a trauma. The line "all the king's horses and all the king's men could never put a smile on that face" is supposed to reflect the beast that the son wants to capture, but simultaneously, I see it fitting Morry, especially after PN1's storyline of him being the villain.

Mad Man Moon - Helmut Fullbear A kind of reflection of "Dance on a Volcano"'s energy, Mad Man Moon is a slow reflective song about leaving home that swells into a high energy while the narrator sings about what he misses and how those who have something want the opposite while he is trapped somewhere he can no longer escape unlike the home. It really gives me the vibes of Psi-King's Sensorium with the reflection always kind of being there but also the high energy and colors swelling up into a crescendo and climax before reeling back into the slower beginning. Couple that with the idea of how Mad Man Moon contrasts those living in deserts wanting rainstorms while those who live in rain want the sun. Just the sensory overwhelming me and being far from home reminds me of Helmut.

Robbery, Assault and Battery - The Noodler Do we know anything about this character? No, but he's a villain named multiple times and is featured in the TPT comics, apparently. And because of that, with how Robbery, Assault and Battery is a celebration of a villainous act, I think this is the character that fits it best, taking joy in the actions.

Ripples - Ford Cruller This song is a reflection of lost time, using the idea of a woman reflecting back in the water and it just fits so well. Truly the lyrics about losing time fits well with the lyrics: "Sail away, away/Ripples never come back/Gone to the other side/Sail away, away." It's so fixated on the moment in time of just realizing how much time you've lost feels like how Ford must have been for so long.

A Trick of the Tail - Razputin Aquato Not only is it the song the album is named after this song, but the first part really fits Raz. However... not the rest of the song. I always imagine that this is more of how the Aquato family believed that this would happen if Raz ran and found out the psychics were as bad as they thought. A more reflection of a character through another character's perception. It fits the least but still...

Los Endos - Lucrecia Mux Los Endos is a medley of... Dance on a Volcano and Squonk, with the ending parts having the whispered lyrics of - "There's an angel standing in the sun./ There's an angel standing in the sun, Free to get back home." Which I suppose fit Lucrecia Mux (pre-transformation and post with the two songs attached without Entangled between them).

ok now that we´ve explored the possibilities of what the ST5 trailer songs could be. usually new wave rock. the smiths, queen, the clash and aparently abba too?so now I offer my own idea for what the ST5 song could be. Hazy Shade of Winter by The Bangles. the song was already used in S2 I think but if they´re planning on bringing back old stuff, why not bring back old tracks too? Anyways, the songs itself it´s just great and the guitar riff is just exciting, so even matching up, and boy, do they match up ,it´s just a really good song. speaking abt lyrics, since it´s the last season and they want to end things once and for all connecting the ties etc then they´ll definetly bring lots of old things and dynamics back, kind of fitting everything so it makes sense, and that´s how I feel with this song, every lyric somehow fits with some ST storyline or character, all the way through S1 to S4, so I can imagine the lyrics matching up moments from later season. example. time, time, time/ see what´s become of me. the mention of time, something very important since S4 came out, plus the fact that the kids growing up it´s just a big part of the show, the concept of time is just super important for this story. look around/ leaves are brown/ and the sky is a hazy shade of winter. this whole part just give tremendous Final Shot Of S4 vibes for me, it´s almost describing the final scene as it is: will sensing vecna and everyone following after, the hawkins flower turning grey and death, ash??? falling onto hawkins and everyone thinking it´s snow. apocalyptic vibes if you will, something we´ll prob see in S5. hang on to your hopes my friend/ that´s an easy thing to say/ but if your hope should pass away/ simply pretend. ok just the fact that this is going to be the final battle fits with the whole hope thing, but also with what some of the character´s personal and relationship arcs ended up in the lastest season - lucas hoping for max to wake up after missing her and hanging onto her all season, mike´s whole scared of losing will and then will ripping off the baindaid and pretending/lying in regarless of his feelings for mike, and mike also hanging onto el at the end even though there´s to hope for them, so now they pretend (mike´s monolougue, el ignoring him) overall it´s all abt hope now, storyline and characters wise. there´s just so much more to say on why I love this song and connect it to ST4&5, after all S4 was the beggining of the end therefore the story will continue with a smilar themes through S5. anyway,I´ve said enough crazyness already. but I am a sucker for some good old music analysis after all. and I hope does everyone else. crazy together ig

stranger things clearly shows how much care and passion they put in their music and audio design and its soooo!!! good to think about this being implemented this is so SO SO good to think about im gonna eat this ask
