He sat there for awhile till he started dozing off, he was quick to shake himself awake and pick you and himself up off the side of the cliff.

He carried you bridal style to his card setting you in the passenger seat and buckling you in he laid the seat down so you were comfortable, once he made sure you were situated he quickly got into the drivers seat and took off. The drive to your house a lot quicker than the drive to that place, once he parked in the usual spot behind your house next to your bedroom window he picked you up and carried you inside, he situated you on your bed before deciding if he should go home or not

He chose the latter and stayed with you, he took of his shoes and got into bed with you the two of you cuddled till the sun barley rose, when he stays at your house he has to leave before your parents wake up so his body adapted to it, he left a note in your hand before leaving threw your window.

Welcome to my little blog, I’m doing okay. How are you doing? Anyway you didn’t specify if you wanted headcanons or drabble so I’m gonna do a little bit of both if that's okay. Also I wrote this to be fairly platonic, I hope that’s okay. Anyway enjoy, have a good day and remember to hydrate or diedrate.

How it starts:

First off they had no clue someone just moved in, being too busy with toman and school they didn’t notice the moving truck or new name on the mail boxes.

Let’s be honest, they probably only realized someone new lived there when Chifuyu noticed Peke J was missing the first time.

Chifuyu’s first thought was that Peke just snuck out to visit Baji, but upon questioning his friend it was brought to their attention they had no clue where the cat had run off too.

Baji being the only one with a brain cell suggested looking around the complex because he had to be around there somewhere while Chifuyu had a mini meltdown thinking he had lost his cat for good.

Chifuyu would take the suggestion and start looking in the dumbest places for Peke J, the trash cans, behind a potted plant next to a random apartment door, Baji on the other hand was politely knocking on doors asking if they had seen the cat.

After about half an hour Chifuyu had slumped to the floor once again believing Peke J had run away never to be seen again. All Baji could think to do is suggest that they make missing posters for the cat.

Before Chifuyu could even nod in agreement the aforementioned cat just walked over and layed in his lap, shocking the boys.

“Oh you must be his owner.” Said a voice that neither boy recognised. Turning to the voice, they noticed someone standing at the door to an apartment only a few doors from Chifuyu’s apartment. “Wait, are you okay, you look like you’ve been crying?” the stranger walked over kneeling next to the blonde who just looked stunned, where the hell did you come from?

Collecting his train of thought Baji spoke first. “Sorry about this, Chifuyu was just really worried about Peke J, I’m Keisuke Baji and the idiot on the floor is Chifuyu Matsuno” He introduced himself. Chifuyu shot Baji a glare before focusing on Peke J.

“It’s okay, I can understand being worried about such a sweet cat. Anyway I’m Y/n Y/l/n, I just moved in a week ago. It's nice to meet you two.” You responded standing back up. “Well now that I don’t have a cat laying on all my stuff I have things to finish unpacking so I’ll see you guys around.” With that you disappeared into your apartment leaving two gang members and a cat.

Chifuyu took that as his cue to pick up Peke J and finally get off the floor. “Who knew we had a new neighbor? Anyway bad cat, you shouldn’t be bugging strangers.” He said holding the cat like a baby. Baji just laughed at his friend, scolding the cat notorious for sneaking out. “What are you laughing at?” Chifuyu said to the grinning boy.

Shaking his head, Baji just waved him off and headed for the stares. “You’re just stupid, anyway I’m going home now that you found your cat, bye.”

Little did Chifuyu or Baji know this would be a regular occurrence, every few days Peke J would just disappear. Chifuyu would first go to Baji then have to go knock on your door to see if the cat had once again decided to bug you. After the fifth time he stopped bugging Baji about it, and would just ask you.

Chifuyu’s feelings on the situation:

Again when Peke J first went missing it freaked him out, like that’s his baby and he just disappeared

But after a few times he accepted that it was just going to keep happening.

Chifuyu would also feel bad for the fact that you had to deal with his cat that would randomly escape, but after multiple conversations assuring him that it’s fine he would apologize but understood that it wasn’t bugging you

He got so used to Peke J going over to hang out with you that if there was a toman meeting or he knew a fight was coming up he would ask if you could keep an eye on Peke J until he got home.

On more than one occasion he would open his phone to see a picture of Peke J asleep somewhere in your apartment when Chifuyu could have sworn the cat was just on his bed.

Eventually he accepted that it was now a split parenting relationship, only differences is are one Peke J is a cat, two you guys aren’t together and never were, and third neither of you had control over when and where the cat wanted to stay

As Peke J spent more time at your place Chifuyu did as well slowly adding you to the mini friend group of him and Baji

Chifuyu also is 100% in support of the random pictures you send of Peke J dressed in various costumes, though his favorite was a mini Toman jacket you had either made yourself or commissioned to be made for the cat if you aren’t very crafty.

Baji’s feelings on the situation:

At first was also worried about the cat, mostly because he knew Chifuyu would lose his shit if something actually happened to Peke J

Got tired of the constant texts saying ‘have you seen Peke J’ from Chifuyu and was the one to suggest he just ask you.

Finds it funny that half the time Peke J chooses you over Chifuyu.

Baji would definitely tell the whole gang that Chifuyu now shares custody of a cat with the new person in the building

He would go with Chifuyu to pick up Peke J after Toman meetings to chat with you cause if you’re gonna be a part of the group he might as well make an effort.

When he saw the cat sized Toman jacket he nearly died laughing at it, because who in their right mind makes a biker gang jacket for a cat, he then immediately sends pictures to everyone.

Honestly he’s happy to have another friend, even if you’re not a fighter and just watch his buddy’s cat, you’re cool, so why not hang out with you sometimes.

Overall I see it starting out as Chifuyu thinking he’s bugging you and Baji just accepting that a cat has picked the newest member of the friend group.

(I know this has a lot to do with meta when it comes to etoiles and it's essential to understand that but also) from a lore/character standpoint do you think etoiles' gentleness and attitude against violence with bad's case yesterday stems more from his past as a warrior understanding when/how to de-escalate a situation and have a softer hand, or from the fact that people keep seeing him as a violent person no matter what he does to help and protect (forever and baghera saying that he might get violent and hurt others because of his scarred arm) ?

Forwarnint: I might be wildly off base here, I'm new to this and I have a feeling my opinions on his relationships to certain things will change as I watch more and more :]

MMM interesting!!! (I actually don't know the meta, I think if he mentioned it his French was too fast for me to understand. But) from in character that's a really good question.

Cause like. I definitely see PHILS ability to handle high stress mental breakdowns as stemming from his ability to descalate,,, but I sort of think like. Oguh okay. This is the first time I've thought about this you're gonna have to bare with me trying to put this all together.

Like I kinda don't see what he was doing as like, something he did in order to contrast violence.

For me I think,q Etoiles is very good at solving puzzles, not in the cellbit way of solving enigmas and stuff, but in the sense of like, he's very very very good at being put on the back foot, and finding ways to move the resources he does have to cover what he needs to. Like I am constantly circling around the fact I think his favourite part of a fight is when he loses control of the battle and has to think carefully about how he's gonna win or survive despite the fact he shouldn't. And I think that sort of mentality coulddd be applied here.

He like, when he got the message that made him understand bad has lost his memory, he steeled himself for what was incoming. When he got to bad he like greeted him like they didn't know each other, matching the energy. Then he sorta tests the bounds of where bad is and isn't at, and then rolls with the punches from there.

Like I am in no way saying he saw his conversation with bad as a battle, like it wasn't summit you win lose or survive, but I dk think his approach to problem solving could be applied here.

There's a very specific way in which qEtoiles thrives in an environment that's out of his control, and therefore I don't think deescalation is the right like, sense of the word, because he never tried to bring things back under control. He sat in the fact it was out if his control and just matched where things were at He just tested the bounds and eventually settled on meeting bad where he was at, and suggesting a memory aid before he had to go.

I also think his patience could be related to the fact he plays the long game despite hating bordem and being impatient instance to instance (another contradiction without hypocrisy love this guy). He puts the hours in grinding dungeons, he will fight the fight for a Long Time. When he commits to something he will do it till its done no matter the time it takes, and I think that ability to like. Make no progress for a long time and see no rewards for a long time helped here as well.

I wanna re-emphasize, qBad is Not a problem to solve, nor a battle to be won. Memory loss is a thing that happens and it sucks. I am saying the skills qEtoiles used to not make things worse for qBad are things that can link to other areas of qEtoiles life and mentality and general approach to things

"Well let's start from the bottom and work our way up shall we?" He smirks even more if it's possible.

1."This was from getting stabbed by a freaking MT. First time, not the last either. Our gear really is not that great with knives, they're meant to be adaptable" He rolls his eyes, "I call bullshit and convient cut backs on necessary resources."

2. "Now this one is the money maker. Believe it or not when wielding lightening and holding a metal object...well let's just say what happens in the training room stays in the training room."

3. "I got shot by a Nif...terrible situation. We were held down in a fox hole and we could get out. Magic depleted, tired and beaten down. The van was literally just a 100 yards away. So I get the bright idea to be a distraction...fucking hurt. But they got to the van scooped my bleeding ass up and away we went!."

4. "Chocobo. I'm not saying anything else."

5."Bordem and a kukri. Sorta nailed me instead of the tree."

"I can keep going if you want..." He winks holding his shirt up still.

"What are they doing and how concerned should I be about it?"

Twilights dry tone wrangled twin laughs from Time and Warriors as the ranch hand dropped down to sit beside them.

"Nothing, for once," Time answered. "At least nothing destructive."

Across the campsite, Four and Wild were sat with their legs crossed, knees touching with one of Fours books stretched across them as a make shift table. Each hero held a hand of cards, playing a game Twilight wasn't familiar with by sight.

Behind them stood two teams, each working to weave their chosen models hair into elaborate plaites. Legend and Hyrule worked on Wild, one going high while the other went low to brush and wend the champions long, tangled locks into a layered crown-and- bun combo. The sight of their faces screwed up into identical frowns of concentration almost made Twilight giggle, and one or two slipped out as Legend gently rapped Wild on the head when their Wildling started to fidget too much.

Wind and Sky worked on Four, the the two of them laughing together as they dipped around one another. To make up for the differences in length, they had opted to add color to Fours staw gold locks, adding in ribbons and bright glass beads into their layers. The ends were gathered into a tiny bun, with one of Skys hand made pins holding it in place.

"How did this get started?" Twilight asked, keeping his voice low so as not to disturb the rare peace the moment captured.

"Wilds hair was getting out of control again, and Wind challenged Legend that he could do better job braiding than he could. Four, Sky and Hyrule either got roped in or joined out of bordem."

"And you two?"

"Judges," Warriors replied.

"Hey, Twi is back!" Winds cheer brought their attention back to the competition. "Come join us! We are totally kicking their ass!"

"Thanks Sailor, but I think I'll join the judges as act as the tie breaker."

"Okay, but no voting for Wild just cause he's your favorite!"

"Wouldn't dream of it," Twilight chuckled, reaching up to loosen the straps that held his sword and pelt around his shoulders. Warriors tossed him a rag, and the next few minutes were spent caring for chain mail and sharpening blades, chatting with Time and Warriors about supplies and what they each hoped to convince Wild to make for dinner with them.

The sounds of soft giggles followed by the snapping shutter of Winds pictobox pulled their attention back to the competition. The sight that met their eyes brought a smile to all of their faces, and melted at least Twilights heart. Four had slumped forward, soothed into a light doze by the feeling of having his hair toyed with. His forehead had come to rest against Wilds chest, cards spilling from his lax fingers as as he snoozed.

Wild had also fallen pray to the ministrations of his hair dressers, curling slightly forward over Four with his chin resting on the crown of the smaller hero's head. Both of them had soft, sleepy smiles on their lips, their limbs in a tangled pile.

"Oh that's just precious," Warriors cooed, "I want a copy of that Wind."

"Two for me," Time chimed in, "Malon will want that for the memory wall."

"Done!" Wind chirped, scurrying around the pair in search of the best angle.

They all froze when Wild stirred, then melted further when their cook simply adjusted to wrap his arms around Four, turning his face to nuzzle his cheek against the smaller hero's locks.

"I need that one too" Twilight chimed in.

Winds shutter went crazy.

(Scenario: mirabel decides to have fun with her tio and tia but they are too busy so they decide to have a little tickle game with her)

Now ur speaking my language!!, we need more mirabel and her tia pepa and tio felix moments-

On to the story

It was a day like any other, julieta was in the village healing the people and Augustine getting himself in another mess

But this time pepa was being constantly annoyed by her sobrina, “mirabel for the last time I’m reading a book, if you’d like I can read it for u but please stop pulling my arm one more pull and ur pulling it out of my socket”

“But im boooooooreddddd ugh why can’t we do something fuuuun everyone else is busyyy”mirabel groaned

“I’m busy too” pepa yanking her hand away which let mirabel fall on her bum and caused a little giggle to come out from pepa

“Reading a Book is busy? Ha as if” mirabel doing the Bordem gesture while raising a brow

Just as pepa gasped dropping the book, felix walked in

“Perfect, Felix please help me out mirabel wants to have fun but I’m busy” pepa pleaded

“No problem mi amor” felix assured

Felix went over to mirabel and helped her stand up and asked “so what do u wanna do?”

“I don’t know but I don’t want it to be a game where u old people enjoy it cuz that’s reallyyy I mean reallyyy boring” mirabel answered felix and pepa were stunned

“Okay then” pepa stood up smirking, “how about hide and seek”

“Okay also don’t try and get to worn out considering you’re old so I won’t be hiding really well so u can find me easily” with that said she skipped out of the room leaving her tio shocked and pepa whispered in his ear about the plan both shared a look of “you are so dead” and “just you wait”

She entered Antonio’s room and he wasn’t there so she tip toed all the way over to a big bolder and hid behind it covering her eyes

4 seconds later she heard the door open and close she knew they had just entered so she covered her mouth from making any noise

“Mirabel where are you~”

“I’m gonna get you~”

“Just you wait until I get grubby little hands on you”

As much As she wanted to make a noise she held it in as things were looking good for mirabel felt two slim arms grab her and pull her, she let out a shriek and look up to her tia with the widest smirk ever

“Hello sobrina~” she says poking mirabel’s stomach

“hahah hi lihsten Ihd love toh stay but I gohtta gho” she immediately tried to get up but was pulled back down by pepa and placed on her lap and teased “oh no, you’re not going anywhere”

Pepa soon started tickling her sides gently stroking it up and down causing mirabel to be in a fit of giggles

Soon the mirabel felt another pair of hands tickle her stomach, it was felix

Now mirabel is bombared from pokes and tickles from her quirky tio and tia

“Ahahahhehehehahah nohohohohohoh plehwhhahahseheh I thohouhuhght we are plahying hide and sehek” mirabel laughed

“Oh no sweetie it’s tickle hide and seek”

“Whehn did this behcohme tihckle edihtion?”

“Since now”

“Plehaahhseh stohohop”

“You should have thought of that before calling us old” felix teased while mirabel was have the squirm of her life

“I wonder what happens when I tickle here~” pepa lightly said bringing her face close to mirabel’s face while striking her armpit

And mirabel arched her back SCREAMING

“AHHHAHAHAHAHAHAH NOHOHOHOHOHOHO PLEHEHEHEHAHHAHAHSHEHEHE MEHEHRHRCHCHYHYH”

“Oh no I’m afraid no mercy today sobrina” felix smiled before blowing a raspberry on her belly then rubbing his beard all over her stomach then giving her belly buttons a few kisses before going back to blowing raspberries

Raspberries all over her stomach

tickling in her armpits

“Awee look at my little sobrina being all red~ oh yes you are, yes you are~” pepa teased before kissing her cheek

“TIAAHAHAHA”

“Yes squeaky?”

“PLEAHAHHADHEHE STOHOP TIHICKHLING MY ARHMPIHITS”

“Not gonna happen sweetie” she said before giving another kiss

Tio felix stopped the raspberries and found a feather on the floor,

He sat on mirabel’s ankles and started to stroke the feather up and down her feet causing mirabel to shriek and try and reach over not until she felt pokes to her belly button on her which sent her to fall to the ground and arch her back

“NOHOHOHOT THEHE FEHEHET”

“Oh yes the feet~”

Felix then started to tickle her feet with his hands and mirabel was screaming using all her might to push them off

“AHEHE NAHAH”

“Awe look at how cute you look, you’re so red it’s adorable aw *mwah* *mwah* tickle tickle Sobrina~” pepa smiled

“Look at the little toes~”

When she fell into a silent laughter due to the tickling her tio and tia let up knowing she reached her limit

She was grasping for air Pepa placed mirabel’s head on her lap brushing her curls off her face and stroking her face while Felix is getting rid of the ghostly tickles by rubbing her stomach “you okay mira?”

“Yehep”

“Good” pepa said before land a kiss on mirabel’s nose

“Aheh nehevhr aghahihn”

“Correct” felix sat close to his wife helping placing mirabel on pepa’s lap

Pepa wrapped her arms around mirabel giving a few smooches before telling her to never call them old again and mirabel nodded her head quickly

All 3 laughed at mirabel’s reaction

After a few minutes of pepa and felix talking, pepa looked over to see a sleeping mirabel

Pepa immediately told felix to carry mirabel to their bed

And felix agreed carrying mirabel and placing her on their bed soon pepa was laying next to mirabel, cuddling her

Felix soon joined, cuddling both of them before drifting off to sleep while hugging mirabel in the middle knowing, no one will ever hurt her while they are here
