Sometimes I think about a newly awakened vampire Giorno going through a teething phase and getting the urge to just bite like a cat who thinks it's being playful (except he gets embarrassed when he bites people) so the gang gets him baby teething toys that his fangs instantly pierce through.

Honestly the biggest missed opportunity or VA was Giorno being half vampire; sure you could argue its cuz he was conceived with Jonathan's body but honestly it just would've been funny if there was a running gag of Abbacchio seeing him doing some vampire shit and no one believing him

I've seen that sentiment a lot and I get that too. Personally, I always assumed the reason why Giorno (and the other three children of DIO as well) never experienced any vampire traits was that DIO was born human, so his kids just ended up fully human as well. JJBA vampirism probably just isn't a thing that's genetically passed down since it's something that humans become instead of something you're born as, I don't know.

I imagine the reason why Giorno being half vampire just isn't brought up nor is a concept that gets explored is because it would be a bit hard to fit in with the plot; after all, how many vampire traits would he really be able to exhibit without strongly altering the story & his character? Sunlight and daytime is a big recurring theme with Giorno (his name literally means "day" after all) and the majority of Vento Aureo takes place outside in the daytime, so him being allergic to the sun would require a lot of plot-reworking.

Maybe since he's only half vampire, he could be able to go out into the sunlight without consequence, but that's really JJBA vampire's main weakness alongside Hamon, which nobody in part five practices. Having Giorno have a lot of the bonuses of a vampire without any of their weaknesses would be a bit overpowered and unpractical in canon, I think.

However, during the whole 7-page Muda scene, you had Giorno shout "WRYYY" as a battlecry, which is meant to be a callback to DIO- but I believe that's also supposed to be how vampires hiss. I think the best route to go in terms of Giorno being half-vampire would be more implications similar to that, like if he only had minor traits that were slightly vampire-ish. Maybe he has a level of physical strength that seems slightly off for his skinny physique, or his teeth are just a little too sharp, and he's able to sway people to his side with a surprising amount of charisma for a fifteen year old. I think that would be cool.

As the title suggests its a part 5 modern apartment au

They all have apartments sometimes they share tho

Fugo and mista share an apartment

Bruno and Leone too

Narancia and Trish live alone

Giorno (freeloader) lives in fugo and Mista’s apartment temporarily but he gets one of his own later so its ok

Fugo and mista have a ghost hunting/ horror content based YouTube channel

Trish and Leone have a makeup channel

Bruno has a one man fishing channel

Narancia has a shitty soundcloud that he posts his shitty freestyle raps on

Also mehtinks Narancia works at Burger King for fun

Trish probably also works at Burger King but part time only (cause she also works part time at the olive garden Bruno frequents)

Did i mention there’s an olive garden Bruno frequents

It’s a few streets down from the building they all live in and Bruno drags everyone there every Sunday

It’s the shitty kind if olive garden that just never has people in it cause there’s a much better olive garden like half an hour away so no one goes to the shitty one

Trish hates it when Bruno shows up during her shift

He’ll ask for more breadsticks every 2 minutes she swears she doesn’t know where all the fucking breadsticks go once their in Bruno’s possession

Also about freeloader Giorno i think he’s like an annoying roommate

They dont blame him since he’s just like that but they feel awkward around him sometimes

They dont hate having him around but he’s kinda mildly annoying (AND hard to talk to uses to many big words)

Also he sheds like a dog he has copious amounts of fluffy voluminous blonde hair and it’s everywhere

Burger King is fun though cause Narancia ropes Mista Fugo and Giorno into joining too and they’ll all get the same shift

It just turns into one big game of overcooked

Chaos. Especially during the lunch rush

They’ll try to get the midnight shifts because there’ll be no one around which is good cause they’re all high off their asses (smoked before coming to work)

And if anyone does actually come to the Burger King / drive through at that hour it’s ok cause they’re likely high too

(I think I have like more hcs when they come to me I’ll tell you)

I was thinking of honor bound and dhampir gio raised by lisa lisa au combining.

So you got gio being raised by lisa lisa as well as ( her somewhat adopted son) Caesar. Plus his brother but actually nephew Joseph, Josephs wife, and josephs husband who is literally like a god.

Needless to say gio grew up well loved but also in an extremely bizarre (ha i had too) environment. Lisa and ceasar teaching hamon and how to safely use it without injuring himself. Joseph teaching him every trick he knows. whammu can teach him about being a warrior and maybe even how yo use his dhampir side. And suzi most importantly can teach him how to be an actual functioning member of society.

Giorno would definitely be an interesting (and powerful) fella.

Also imagine lisa gets released early during her hospital trip cause she manage to sneak in some secret hamon healing and she cant find gio so she asks whammu check on him. So like in the middle of brunos gangs betrayal this LITERAL GOD LIKE BEING just roles up. And little giornos just like :D “uncle wham!”. While everyone else is losing there fucking minds. Whammu finds the gangs betrayal of the boss an honorable venture and is just like dam guess ill join ya

And also don’t forget eventually the Kujos coming to visit on occasion too and Jotaro teaching the kid about Stand Stuff. By the time Giorno’s 15, he’s VERY well versed in all manner of the supernatural and how to handle it. Heck, he wouldn’t even be as malnourished as usual compared to the vampiric Gio AUs because Wammu would be able to set him up with the same food sources he had from the SWF

As for canon……. holy shit is it going to go absolutely off the rails insane

Giorno is just. A complete and absolute anomaly. Nobody has the faintest idea what the FUCK his Stand does. Does it give him abnormal speed? Strength? Walking on water? The golden electricity??? The plants?????? But then what about the bugs and frogs???????????

And then Giorno is. Like, barely affected by The Grateful Dead because extended lifespan and jazz. (Admittedly he wasn’t super sure about that one at first, but he put the pieces together pretty quickly)

and THEN the panic at one point, probably during the Baby Face fight, Giorno looses a bunch of bits and pieces. Everyone’s freaking out over the fact there are literally H O L E S inside him, but he just looks at them and goes “oh. Oh, yeah don’t worry that’s going to grow back” and they just look at him like “what the fuck do you mean it’s going to GROW BACK-”

And ofc. Wammu showing up.

And naturally, the Bucci gang start freaking the fuck out. While Wammu is likely wearing “normal” clothes, they do very little to hide his actual size, being about 197 cm of pure muscle. He could likely snap them in half even without a Stand, and they assume he’s sent by the Boss……

Only for Giorno is run full speed and glomps him. The man doesn’t react in the slightest, he doesn’t even budge, however instead of looking angry or even displeased, he looks down with a warm smile and picks Giorno up like he’s a little kid

and then while they’re still trying to figure out what’s going on Giorno hits them with the bomb that is “this is Wammu, he’s my brother’s husband :D”

Also, I’d image that Wammu would be……. VERY touchy on the whole “father willing to kill child for power” thing going on with Trish because…… well *gestures at the whole Kars and Esidisi thing*

I bet by the end of this adventure Wammu’s going to be asking his spouses how they’d feel about adopting yet another daughter

I never understood the vampire lover hype until vampire giorno came into my life 🤪

Vampire giorno hcs:

His vampire powers don't awaken until his 20s

He becomes more sensitive to light and needs to carry an umbrella everywhere

Giorno doesn't thirst for blood as much as your typical vampire considering he's only half vampire technically

Darling will have to adapt to night vision or something because his villa will be dark af

When it comes to darling, it becomes a dilemma.

He doesn't want to see or use darling as his endless supply of blood for him to feast on

But on the other hand... Darling just looks so... Delicious

Giorno usually only drains blood from his enemies so he can't prevent civilian casualties. Part of his righteous act and all

But God, the blood of his enemies taste disgusting. Its like drinking vomit each time

Which is why when he gets a small taste of darling's blood from the time they accidentally cut themselves, he gets addicted quickly

It takes all his willpower to not just ravish his darling. He's so hungry and wants to taste the sweetness that is his darling but he knows he won't be able to control himself and might accidentally kill you

Depending on the darling, darling may be his only supply of food if they think killing others is wrong. Even if its criminals.

Surpringsly having a vampire sink their sharp teeth into you isn't as painful as you thought it'd be. You hate to admit it but it's kinda euphoric but you won't ever let giorno know that

If darling is afab, he'll have a keen sense of when your period is coming and want to be darling's personal pad 😳

It's no question he'll turn darling into a vampire eventually. He can't bear to live an eternity without you.

Abbacchio crept through the house as silently as possible. There was something about this whole situation that just sat badly with him. He refused to admit that perhaps Giorno had been right and they should have looked into it a little more, but maybe there was some truth to that…

His instincts alerted him to a presence as soon as he stepped into the dining room, though he could see no one at the moment.

Abbacchio walked slowly down the long table, sword held firmly at his side.

A low, mocking chuckle had him instantly spinning around, catching sight of a figure looming in the shadows.

While I seen Danny Phantom have crossover with shows with ghosts but I am wondering about what your thoughts about Danny Phantom crossover with JoJo bizarre adventure and the idea of Stand ( a manifestation of a fighting spirit that only stands user can see and fight) (also to make it simple that Danny don't have a stand).

Hey! How's it hangin'? Good to read from ya!

Anyway, it's actually interesting. Like, even though Stands are a manifestation of one's fighting spirit, I'm not sure if that'd qualify as being actual spirit-spirit. If it were, then I think they might be effective against, if not ghosts from the IR, then at least one's bound to earth. And even in the case of Stands not typically being effective against Danny, I think that certain ones would be. Obviously, anything able to actually affect the soul or mind like the d'Arby brothers. However, I'm not sure about things that would only affect the physical body.

In the case of it not being spiritual or mental in nature, especially in cases of things affecting the body, I can see a lot of Stands just not being very effective at all. Like, they might affect him, especially in human form, just not nearly as much as if Stands are portrayed in a spiritual nature. Especially if he goes intangible, which would probably reduce shit to zero.

And even if he can't affect the Stands themselves, he can still 100% affect the Stand Users.

Though, even in the case of mental stands like the devil baby & his clown reaper Stand, I can see Danny going either way. He could see it & other Stands just fine for some undiscernible reason.

However, depending on your hc of how Danny's sense works, you could make things interesting by having him be unable to see them, but have his sense be triggered by them.

Personally, in my hcs, he's descended from a Dhampir, which gives him a supernatural sense, which has sort of been enhanced by him becoming a ghost. However, that just my hc & you can do what you want with that information.

And in the case of them actually being spiritual, then you could feasibly argue that Danny is his own Stand.

Now, for things like Za Warudo, I think it could effect him, but would have diminishing returns much like with Jotaro. But rather than it being because he can control time too, it's more so because Za Warudo is more like knock-off time manipulation whereas Clockwork's is the grandmaster of time manipulation. Plus, the IR is just generally a place with time working weirdly, if at all & I think it's partially due to ectoplasm, which Danny has, in my hc, incorporated into every single cell in his body.

However! You wanna know what I do think would be very effective on Danny in different ways depending on how they're used?

Hamon. Because Hamon is based on IRL Qigong practices, which are spiritual in nature & likely use at least a bit of Reiki, which is super effective against ghosts & spirits.

Then again, that might just be my personal bias as someone who honestly enjoyed the first 3 books more than the ones that came after. I just generally liked how Hamon worked better & one of my favorite Stands is actually Purple Hermit because it feels like it synergizes well with Joseph's power & expands upon it in an interesting way.

Though, I actually do theorize that Giorno's Stand, Gold Experience, & possibly even Josuke's Stand, Crazy Diamond, to a degree, might be more effect on Danny because I theorize that their abilities might manifest a degree of Hamon that they could've inherited from their fathers.

Especially Giorno. It'd basically just make his Stand even more broke.

At the same time, I think that not just Danny's blood, but the ectoplasm of ghosts from the IR would be really freaking toxic af to both vampires & pillarmen, but in different ways.

Like, Danny's blood is like actual poison to them while pure ectoplasm from an IR ghost is like drinking acid. Only the ghosts of vampires or Vlad could consume it. Which, I hc Vlad as being half-Lugat, half-Ghost with a Strigoi ancestor. In my mind, he sort of revived himself with the force of his desire for something he pursued in life, which is how Lugats are created. No worries though, Lugats are actually considered living rather than part of the undead which is how they are still able to reproduce, thus bringing about Dhampirs.

But, yeah. Those are just my thoughts.
