i've been reading so much yandere giorno content that the other day i read some normal giorno x reader and my first thought was "wtf this seems off" lmao help me

Yandere Giorno just hits so different. I can no longer read regular Giorno x readers 😭

Absolutely no hate towards jjba writers who don't do yandere. I've read some fantastic ones where it's just pure fluff or angst without the whole yandere aspect. But idk, anon. Yandere Giorno is so... delicious 😜

I just can't over or stop gushing about the idea of a desperate, hopeless romantic, obsessed and possessive mafia Don. Like, he's canonically the strongest stand user in the whole world and even without a stand he rules over an entire country with an iron fist. A man with so much power who's only weak for you. I-

And I just think Giorno would have such a way with words! We already know he can be very charismatic and persuasive. I like to think when it comes to romance, he's poetic in his words. Like many INTJs in love (at least the ones I see in media) they're just sooooo romantic. And not just in the pure love but it's always with a pinch of dark and twisted love they have which makes things so spicy 😏

For example, I like to think of Hannibal! Definitely, a prime example of an INTJ whose dark and twisted love somehow becomes the most romantic thing you get to see in media, LOL.

Allegra: "Dr. Fell, do you believe a man could become so obsessed with a woman, from a single encounter?"

I think Giorno would be the type to occasionally repeat it, but not too much since he hates repeating himself. But just enough times where it's a constant reminder for you. It won't be deliberate either. I like to think that Giorno says it first when he reveals why he kidnapped you. The second time would be on the wedding day. And every time after that would be spur-of-the-moment signs of weaknesses. Like he just adores you and drinks in your ethereal presence, he spills out his affections. While Giorno is very disciplined and has a lot of self-control, when he's with his precious darling, sometimes it all melts away because his true inner desire is to shower them with all his love and affection.

I wonder how much of Jotaro's behavior Jolyne inherited (e.g. will tie you up with rope to keep you forever only in her case the rope comes from Stone Free, not afraid to give you a beatdown for misbehaving, etc)

I feel like she inherits the tying and beating you up if you misbehave part from Jotaro. Though, I like to hc Jolyne as a totally different yandere than Jotaro. She's volatile. it's hard to know how she'll react to things and it's like you're treading on thin ice all the time. IMO, it'd be hella stressful to be Jolyne's and Josuke's darling.

At times she'll accuse you of trying to leave her just as her dad did for most of her life. Jolyne is clingy like that. Other times, she might start crying begging you not to leave her. I like to think that Jolyne is a good actor, so most of her crying isn't genuine. Unlike Josuke, Jolyne knows how to manipulate you and isn't afraid to use tears or violence as a means.

Interesting ask you got there! I haven't stopped writing for enneagram and MBTI. It's just not a popular topic around here lol.

*Important note: I am in no way saying that people who have these enneagrams are yanderes or will be yanderes. This is purely for educational and hypothetical discussion of what enneagrams are observed in yanderes within media (i.e., anime). In real life yanderes are dangerous, so please stay away from them. This blog is purely for entertaining a horror trope*

But personally, I would say enneagrams 1, 2, 4, and possibly 6 would usually fit the yandere trope.

1 - perfectionist

Examples: Giorno, Pucci, Bucciarati

pretty self-explanatory if I'm being honest. Enneagram 1s are ruled through fear of being immoral, so they spend a lot of their time trying to live a moral life. However, morals are subjective. What's considered "good" isn't consistent across all people and cultures. I can see these types deluding themselves into being "good" people for darling.

Example: Yan!Giorno kidnapping darling is the "right" thing to do because he can keep them safe from harm

2 - caregiver

Examples: Jonathan, Yuno Gasai

Highest potential for fulfilling the yandere trope

2s have a fear of being unloved. Therefore, their motivation in life is to act in such a way that they can be loved and accepted. Usually, this is in a form of giving love so they can receive love. It can be excessive where it becomes unhealthy for the individual such as overcompensating, overprotective, overbearing, etc. See where this is going?

4 - individualistic

Examples: Yukako, Johnny

4s have a fear of having no identity. Therefore, they spend a lot of time trying to find their own unique identity. Key word is unique. 4s want to be individualistic. To create a sense of self that is unique and self-expressed by them. In a healthy manner, it's great because it means they have a greater sense of self and high self-awareness

however, on the unhealthy side, it can be seen as inherently selfish

this plays a role in the yandere trope because when you think about yanderes, they are pretty selfish when you think about it. They don't take into account their partner's opinions and thoughts in the relationship. I can see 4s almost taking their darling as part of their identity. Kinda the whole "I can't live without you" or "you're my other half" to a whole new level

6 - security and stability

Examples: Diavolo, Narancia

I'm iffy on 6s being yanderes but I put them on the list because I still think they have potential. Tbf, all enneagrams have the potential to be a yandere in their own way, so don't think yanderes can only be these enneagrams!

6s are ruled by their fear of insecurity. They want security, to know that something or someone will work out and be there for the long-run

For the yandere trope, this can definitely be in the form of seeking a partner and wanting them to stay forever. If darling tries to leave this can cause anxiety, that lack of security is no longer there and the enneagram 6 will work towards obtaining that security back
