26/5/2019 Picture of my practice German exam, the real one went pretty good as well!! Tomorrow I’m going to the lecture for my entrance exam which I’m super excited for!!! I’ve been relaxing all week to recuperate from exams but next week I’ll try to go through my tag again, possibly make an update post and hopefully figure out what I’ll be doing during the holidays to keep myself busy. ways to use old or empty notebooks

start a bullet journal! (some references: X, X, X, X, X)

hobby journal! dump all your sketches, ideas, and plans for your hobbies into a notebook

list journal! make a journal of lists of things you want to do or your favorite things

make a brainstorming notebook for your ideas

a general brain dump notebook for everything that you cant categorize into your other notebooks

make a letter journal where you can write out letters to other people. you don’t have to send them out, but it can help when you want to have closure with someone or yourself (see: to all the boys i’ve loved before by jenny han)

make a tracker journal! use this journal to track habits or goals you want to achieve

a language notebook! use a notebook to jot down words you want to remember or take notes if you’re self-studying a language.

if you like to watch documentaries or educational movies/videos, use them for taking documentary notes!

use them to practice your hand lettering or handwriting (some references: X, X, X, X)

make a vision journal with your ideal self and goals to achieve (some references: X, X)

make a dream journal to document all your dreams!

if you want to try living a healthier life, make a health log for your food, meds, and/or exercises.

start a mental health log for tracking your moods and feelings (some references: X, X)

make a memory book filled with pictures or notes of your life.

use a plain notebook to make a scrapbook

make a good old-fashioned diary for reflecting and documenting on your life (some references: X, X)

like the stream of consciousness notebook, try making an evening log to document or reflect on your day as part of your night routine

if you have a hard time putting together outfits in the morning, try making a list of outfits that you know go together for those busy morning in an OOTD notebook

if you’re already into bullet journaling but don’t like making mistakes, try testing your bullet journal spreads and ideas into a bujo testing notebook

if you like music, try making a list of playlists or songs in a music notebook

tips:

you don’t have to fill up a whole notebook! if you want, just use these ideas as suggestions for pages in a notebook.

use unused pages in old school or office notebooks to save paper

you can also cut up these old pages and use the little scraps for to-do lists and other notes.

1. What do you think is the most beautiful thing about your target language(s)?For Irish it's definitely the phonetics and the mythology which I adore. For German I just feel that it's a kinder language than people give it credit for, and I love the never-ending sentences bc I already do that in Dutch/English anyways haha3. How long have you spent learning foreign languages?I was forced to take French when I was 11 because of school, then the year after I had to do German alongside that, but also started learning Japanese for myself. The genuine interest didn't come until I was about 16 and had dropped both French and German, so that's when I really started getting into the whole learning languages on your own thing and I still love it! :)9. What do you struggle with the most while learning a language?Certain grammar aspects. I always learn grammar, and then completely neglect repeating the material so I end up using the wrong words or the wrong form of a word, which I'll be painfully aware of but too stubborn to relearn. Hopefully some day I can find a way to study grammar easier so it sticks longer and it's not a hassle to revise every now and then:')Thank you for the ask!!! :з

I hate the sound of my alarm clock.

Not really no.

I’ve got a few broken bones and teeth, but the tie is probably between a little skull trauma I got as a kid and that time I got poked in the chest by a branch when I fell down a tree.

I do, yes. I know I should not but I do... and I am very patient.
