Heyyy! I don’t know how many of you remember me or this fic, wherein Geralt is cursed to hear Jaskier’s thoughts, Jaskier is Au-dhd and Geralt starts to learn about how Jaskier’s brain works, and also a little about himself along the way.
But if you do remember this fic, you probably also know that I started it in 2021 which was 2 years ago! But, alas, I am back and actually updating it! There have been 3 new chapters since my hiatus and this fic is so close to my heart, getting to discuss autism and adhd in writing in how it looks on different people has been such an amazing experience, made unbelievably better by the number of people saying they relate to Jaskier, or that this fic has helped them realize things about themselves, or be more patient with themselves. It's genuinely an honour to write this fic and hear from you guys, so basically I’m saying that It’s back, and it would mean the world to me if anyone who may have read it before could pick it back up or if you haven’t read it, maybe give it a shot?

Sigeumchi-Namul/Korean-seasoned Spinach is so damn good and I really need to just start making some and leaving it in the fridge to eat through the week, cause it's so low-spoon and keeps well and is delicious cold~
Just blanch some spinach (boil for 30s-1m minutes then rinse in ice cold water or run under cold water tap), press the excess water out of it (either squeeze it with your hands or find some good weight to press it with. I'm thinking leave the spinch in a strainer in the sink and put a glass bowl full of water on top of it but i haven't tried yet). You might want to bunch it into a cube and chop it a few times (the amount of chops depending on how big a batch you've cooked).
Then season it with soy sauce (or coconut aminos and maybe add salt if soy-free), toasted sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds, minced garlic, chopped green onion, and, optionally, add some gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) or silgochu (shredded Korean red pepper) if you want some heat. Even regular black pepper is good in it if you don't like the spicy pepper heat.
I haven't tried, but it probably works well with frozen spinach too, just thaw it according to directions and then season as above. Probably takes longer to thaw than cook, but easier on clean up that way.
The amount of seasoning will depend on how big a batch you make, but start low then add more. Sesame oil is strongly flavored so start with a tsp. Maybe about .25 more soy sauce than sesame oil, but your taste will vary. It should taste nutty from the sesame oil and a bit salty.

Jaskier and Valdo meet and Jaskier being the petty drama queen he is, is like - you know, acting like a jilted lover bc I'm living on that "they used to bone" relationship and then one day Valdo forgot Jaskier's favourite flower or some shit and bard FLIPPED and that was that and Valdo was all confused and shit cuz now his fuck buddy just up and left anyWAY-

Ha, I do have something. However, I do find myself wondering how did I end up in a situation where I haven't shared anything only from my most recent WIP, despite throwing so many things in the queue... Oh well. So be it.
Lips fall over yours just as you’re about to scream. Your arms push at whoever it is, but your resistance ceases, the familiar scent of mint, chamomile and some closely unidentified mixture of herbs embracing you as he does.
“Usually I’d be delighted to hear your squeals, but it is a little too early for that,” he murmurs, each word a caress to your skin, a feather-light touch followed by the slight gust that is his breath. Carried forth like dandelion seeds, goosebumps scatter over your bare chest.
“Clavis…?”
His finger presses against your lips. “Ah-ah-ah. It is not very gentlemanly of me, but I need your trust now. Be quiet for me.”

I will never understand why they decided to revert Dandelion back to “Jaskier” in the Flixer.
Yes, I am well aware it is the Polish version of hus stage name. But it is just that: a stage name.
And to an audience that mainly speaks English, I feel like “Jaskier” doesn’t translate well, nor does it convey his personality the same way that “Dandelion” seems to.
FFS, CDPR went with “Dandelion”, and they are a Polish company. So, it feels like Lauren decided to revert to using “Jaskier” to appear “more intelligent”. When we know, just by observing the writing of the show that her understanding of the source material is way off the mark.

The final bell's echo marked the end of another dragging period. I glanced around, noting the synchronized rustle of notebooks and the zip of backpacks. One more class to endure.
I slumped back into my seat, the untouched notebook in my hands a testament to my waning interest. What's the point of pretending?
"Mrs. Y/n, a moment, please?" Mr. Choi's voice cut through the chatter, his eyes not meeting mine, but fixed on the stack of papers before him.
With a resigned sigh, I approached his desk, the weight of my backpack mirroring the heaviness in my chest. "What is it, sir?"
He waited, his silence stretching until the last student trickled out. "It's your grades," he began, his frown morphing into a look of concern. "They've plummeted since the semester began."
I traced the patterns on the floor with my eyes, feeling the sting of his words. "A's to B's, and now an F," he continued. "Is there no time for my class? At least take notes, Y/n."
The apology was a lump in my throat. "I'll try harder," I managed to say, meeting his gaze.
"I'll arrange a tutor for you," he offered, his tone firm yet caring.
A nod was all I could muster. "Thank you, sir."
"Now hurry along, don't be late."
As I stepped into the hallway, the reality of a tutor loomed over me. Another person to disappoint, or perhaps, an unexpected ally in this academic battlefield.
Changbin's POV
Felix's deep voice pulled me back to the present. "Are you coming over today?"
"Yeah, Lix, I already told you—" My words were cut short by the professor's stern call. "Seo Changbin, go to the office."
Confusion settled in as all eyes landed on me. Felix leaned in, his whisper barely audible. "Bro, what did you do?"
I could only offer a clueless shrug, gathering my belongings and bidding him a quick farewell. The walk to the office was a silent battle with my thoughts. What did I do? Am I in trouble? Not another detention…
Upon entering, I bowed respectfully to the teachers. "Ah, Mr. Seo," Mr. Yang greeted, his voice betraying no emotion. My gaze landed on the lone student in the room—Y/n?
"Why am I here, Mr. Yang?" My question was soft, almost hesitant.
He glanced at a paper on his desk. "Meet Y/n. You'll be her tutor for History."
Her name triggered a cascade of memories. The quiet girl who once offered me flowers with a shy smile. Could it really be her?
Approaching her, I noticed the nervous play of her fingers on her skirt's edge. "Hey Y/n. Do you remember me?" I asked, pointing to myself, hoping to spark recognition.
Her eyes widened briefly, then she nodded. A wave of relief washed over me.
"After school, let's meet in the library, okay?" I suggested gently. Standing up, I added, "What class do you have next? Let me walk you there."
Y/N's POV
The climb to the 3rd floor felt longer with Changbin trailing behind me. I wanted to ask him to stop following, but the words wouldn't come. Just as I mustered the courage to speak, his voice boomed with excitement.
"Oh my gosh, you like TXT?!" He pointed to the Yeonjun photocard dangling from my bag.
I nodded, caught off guard when he gently touched my shoulder. "Can I see?" he asked, his eyes gleaming with shared fandom.
"Hes my bias too!" Changbin's voice was a mix of surprise and delight. I felt a warmth spread through me, but his grip tightened in his excitement, anchoring me in place.
"You're hurting me…" I whispered, the discomfort breaking through the moment.
His eyes widened, and he immediately let go. "I'm so sorry, Y/N. Are you okay?" Concern etched his features as he stepped around to face me, his hands hovering as if unsure where to rest.
"I'm fine," I assured him, my voice steadier than I felt. "Just… surprised, that's all."
We shared a look, an unspoken understanding passing between us. He nodded, a silent promise to be more mindful.
His hand ended up on my waist...
Changbin's POV
My gaze lingered on my hand at her waist, her silence a puzzle I couldn't solve. She just stood there, her round eyes wide, cheeks flushed—a picture of innocence that tugged at my heartstrings.
"Changbin… Changbin?" Her voice snapped me out of my reverie, her hand fluttering before my eyes like a startled bird.
I chuckled, a soft, self-deprecating sound, and carefully withdrew my hand. "Right, your class," I stammered, my cheeks burning with a mix of embarrassment and something akin to hope.
The stairs seemed to stretch on forever as we ascended in silence. My mind raced with questions. Does she feel the same? Would she tell me if she did? Memories of a past fondness lingered, but did her feelings stand the test of time?
Reaching the third floor, the hallway was a blur, my focus solely on the girl beside me. "Bye Y/N, see you at the library," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
She offered a soft smile and a slight bow, a gesture of respect that somehow felt like more. As she disappeared into her classroom, a sense of longing washed over me, mingled with the sweet promise of what the afternoon might bring.

Y/N and Eren were childhood best friends. Everyday they'd race up the hill full of dandelions before the sunset so they could enjoy the ray of colours and make out shapes in the clouds.
They were inseparable until Y/N's family moved across the country. All the memories Y/n and Eren had together were left behind. Despite their promises to keep in touch, they slowly drifted apart, and Y/N never spoke to Eren again.
Years later, y/n was attending college and was surprised to see Eren there as well. She didn't recognize him at first, but then she heard his name called out in class. She turned around and saw a tall, muscular man with sharp features and piercing green eyes. It took her a moment to realize that this was her old friend.
But Eren was different. He was cold and distant, and y/n hardly recognized him. Y/n was shocked and hurt by Eren's behavior, and didn't know what to do. Despite his reaction to seeing her for the first time in years she never gave up.
As the weeks went by, y/n and Eren slowly started to reconnect. They would run into each other on campus, and eventually, they started to talk again. They would catch up on old times and talk about their lives now. They would laugh and joke like they used to, and y/n was happy to have Eren back in her life again.
One day, Y/N asked Eren why he had changed so much. He told her that he had joined the military and had been through some traumatic experiences. He had lost friends and had seen things that had changed him forever. Y/N felt a surge of sympathy for him, and she realized that she had missed him more than she had ever admitted.
Y/n suggested that they should go back to the field where they used to play as children. Eren was hesitant at first, but y/n convinced him to come along. When they arrived at the field, they were surprised to find that it was full of dandelions, just like it was when they were kids.
They ran through the field, and y/n could feel the warmth of the sun on her face. They both played and laughed, just like they used to.
As the sun began to set, y/n and Eren went to the top of the hill, where they used to watch the sunset. They sat down on the grass and watched as the sun slowly disappeared over the horizon.
Y/n could feel the warmth of Eren's hand in theirs, and they knew that they had found their way back to each other.

Okay, so Day 9 with Marluxia is where significant lore inaccuracies start.
First of all, we start with Purebloods not releasing Hearts, and Emblem Heartless releasing Hearts, which in DDD becomes the inaccurate retcon of Purebloods not having Hearts, when in fact, they are literally Hearts. Just like how Nobodies are actually Bodies, Dream Eaters are actually Dream Constructs, Unversed are actually aware of their existences, and are based on emotions that are expressed, or "versed".
In the original canon, the reason Purebloods did not release hearts was because they were too corrupted by darkness, as they were fully submerged into the Darkness hivemind, whereas Emblem Heartless, being artificial creations, retained some sense of individuality. Once a Pureblood was defeated, it was assumed given their darkness level they would re-manifest until purification, or purify over a longer time, that we as the player character do not see.
Second is the idea they actually need a Keyblade to collect hearts to create Hearts of All Men, when in actuality, they have been collecting Hearts artificially, as we see in the Heartless Generator, and KH2's script implies Altar of Naught was designed specifically to retrieve purified Hearts away from the real Kingdom Hearts. It is possible that Vexen studied Kingdom Key to achieve this, as he talks before the mission (implying the Keyblades/Keychains obtained in this game are mostly his creations), but even then they were still indeed collecting Hearts, so the statement is just incorrect.
Unfortunately, the plot of the game is built on this incorrect idea.
Third issue is not that big of a deal. Since Marluxia gives you the tutorial of defeating Heartless, this becomes in Union X the idea Lauriam was somehow better than other Dandelions at defeating Heartless, and his quick bond with Roxas was actually a continuation of his bond with Ventus (who is still inside Roxas, not Sora).
This is a weird, though not necessarily bad case of Flanderization (again, tropes are not inherently bad), since the actual reason Marluxia does this is because as the second strongest member of the Org. 13 at the time, and one that desires to have a tool with a Keyblade, he would be most efficient in dealing with Heartless, and would seek Sora's Nobody as he will seek Sora himself in CoM.
(Of course, this event in Days will also be somewhat unimportant, as Union X will imply the main reason he sought after Sora was because he was carrying his original Keyblade, Divine Rose, which like most of the KH1 Keyblades was originally meant to be manifestation of the heart of Beast's Castle's world before the retcon.)
This additional context does not ruin the progression of the story, but weakens characters' actions, which in Marluxia's case is kinda bad, considering he is the brother of our "new" main character Strelitzia, and will almost certainly become a major recurring character both because of this, and his sheer power level.

I suppose we should also talk about Marluxia's element, flowers.
While there are many powerful plant monsters in FF, there is no plant-based elemental affinity in any of the FF games, except ironically in Kingdom Hearts. This is different than most JRPGs, where there is a plant element, as wood is one of classical Chinese elements.
There is sort of a Death element, which is characterized by Summons such as Odin, and Yojimbo, but I guess the main reason they didn't want Marluxia's element to be Death is because of the identity of Specter Nobody, aka Strelitzia. However, we cannot repeat plant element of Strelitzia, so we might end up her default to Death instead. More likely though, she will be non-elemental Holy to make her more special.

Amg about Engage— I have a lot to say 😂 it definitely feels like a spin off > an actual main title game.
