Baby’s First Thanksgiving || Joe Burrow x reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
•pairing: Joe Burrow x reader
•summary: It’s Josie’s first Thanksgiving!
•warnings: a baby and pure fluff<3
“Look at your little bow peanut, you look so pretty, yes you do!”
You smiled to yourself as you stood in the doorway of your daughter’s nursery, listening to her sweet baby giggles as you watched Joe coo down at her as he got her dressed.
“She says you look just like me,” Joe picked his daughter up, smiling at her as he spoke, “but I think you look beautiful like your mommy Josie girl.”
Your heart swelled at your husbands sweet words. You decided to make your presence known, walking into your daughter’s room and grinning as you spoke.
“I don’t know, I think she looks just like her daddy.”
The sound of your voice made Joe take his attention away from his six month old daughter and to you instead. His smile widened, making his eyes crinkle up at the corners in a way you always loved. You walked further into the room, standing behind Joe and waving at your smiling baby girl.
“How long have you been eavesdropping on Josie and I?” Joe asked with a smirk as he brought Josie into his arms. You shrugged, your smile turning into a smirk to match Joe’s. “Long enough.” your smirk turned back into a smile as you reached your arms out to take your daughter from Joe’s arms.
“Hi Josie girl!” You beamed as soon as your daughter was in your arms, “You look so cute.”
“Say thanks mommy,” Joe spoke in a higher octave, making it seem like Josie was the one speaking, “Daddy picked out my outfit.”
You eyed Joe as you replied, “Well daddy did a great job.” You kissed Josie’s chubby cheeks, making the baby girl giggle happily as she flashed you and Joe a wide, gummy smile. Her sweet giggles never failed to put a smile on yours and Joe’s faces.
“Are you so excited for your first Thanksgiving? Try some sweet potatoes, rolls, turkey—.”
“And ham.”
You chuckled as Joe cut in.
“And ham.” You added, tickling your daughter’s sides and making her giggle once again. Joe smiled at you two as he wrapped his arm around your waist, pulling you into his side.
“Are my girls ready to go?”
You nodded, bouncing your daughter on your hip slightly, “Say yes daddy, we’re ready when you are.”
Joe leaned down and pressed a kiss to the top of yours and Josie’s head, making both of you smile. Your little family was full of so much love that only grew more and more each day.
Once you made sure you had Josie’s diaper bag all packed up, the three of you left your house and headed over to Joe’s parents for Thanksgiving dinner.
~time skip~
“Here Josie girl,” you grabbed a half a spoonful of your sweet potato’s and brought them up to your baby’s girls little lips, “you wanna try some?”
She opened her mouth like a little bird, eating the sweet potatoes off the spoon. You and Joe watched with smiles on your faces as she smacked her lips and babbled happily.
“Do you like them peanut?” Joe asked, chuckling as Josie leaned forward to take more from the spoon you were holding. “Mmm,” you hummed, your daughter making the same sound as you. “Yeah?” You asked, cooing sweetly at your daughter, “yummy huh?”
Joe’s parents watched from across the table with wide grins as you and Joe introduced their granddaughter to some of her first solid foods.
You picked up a piece of turkey from your plate, tearing off a small piece and holding it out for Josie. She took it from your hand with her chubby fingers and shoved it into mouth. As soon as the turkey hit her tongue, her face turned into a look of disgust as she slowly chewed. She spit the turkey out and whined slightly.
You chuckled as you looked over at Joe, “She really is your little twin Joe.” Joe smiled and reached out to rub his thumb across Josie’s cheek, swiping away some of her drool.
“It’s OK baby girl,” he cooed at his daughter, “daddy doesn’t like turkey either.”
Joe took his hand away from her mouth and grabbed a small piece of ham from his plate. He brought the meat up to her lips, the two of you watching cautiously as Josie hesitantly took the ham from her father’s finger. Josie’s face instantly lit up as she started chewing the ham.
“You like it Josie?” Joe asked, smiling at his daughter as she clapped her hands.
“I’m taking that as a yes.” Robin spoke up, a smile on her face too.
Joe chuckled at his moms comment and tore off another small piece of ham, giving it to Josie who gladly accepted it. “She really is just like me, huh?” he asked, glancing at you with a smirk.
“I told you she was,” you replied, “she looks like you, acts like you, and now she hates turkey like you do, too.”

Chocolate Chip Pancakes.
(Rockstar!Dad!Eddie Munson x Mom!Fem!Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(A/n: there's no song connected to this one, I just got bored and came up with a cute little story because two things have been in my mind 24/7- Rockstar Eddie and Dad Eddie. So I mixed them, please enjoy idk what I'm really doing here-)
‼️Warnings: LOTS of fluff, kissing, little kiddos, teasing of smut but doesn't happen bc of kiddos 😔, but that's really it ig- tell me if I forgot something.‼️
—————————————
The Saturday, LA sun shined through the curtains right onto your face, slowly waking you up to the feeling of warmth on your face.
A small sigh fell from your nose as your eyes fluttered openly slowly, turning your head slightly to see your husband already awake.
Eddie was laying on his side, his brown curls wild from sleep and his brown doe eyes soft with a tired tint in them- his head rested in his hand as he looked down at you with a little tired grin, slightly making it obvious he had been staring at you when you were sleeping.
"How long have you've been watching me-" you mumbled tiredly while slowly closing your eyes again, causing Eddie to let out a small chuckle as he picked his head up from his hand.
"Long enough my sweetheart~" he hummed, moving his lips right next to your ear which caused a small shudder to run down your spine.
Eddie seemed to take notice, letting out another low chuckle as he pressed a small kiss on the back of your ear, slowly moving his small trail of kisses down your neck as you tried to wake yourself up.
"Ed- baby... it's too early for this-" you whined quietly, lazily pushing him away as you opened your eyes slightly, your actions doing nothing to the metalhead as he just smirked against your skin, continuing to kiss at your exposed neck.
As Eddie moved his lips more downwards in the crook of your neck, your eyes slowly fluttered shut as you let out a small hum, obviously enjoying it in some way as you slowly tilted your head to the side, giving him more access to your neck.
Eddie just let out a small chuckle against your skin, lightly sucking and nibbling at your skin as shaky breaths fell from your lips.
As Eddie started to slowly make his way to hover over you, you hear the sound of your guys bedroom door slamming as the door swings open- causing your eyes to shoot open and Eddie to quickly pull away.
You sat up slowly as your ears filled with the sound of tiny excited shrieks from your two young daughters, causing you to wince slightly since it was still pretty early.
"Girls-! Girls-! Come on ladies, tone it down please." Eddie called out, raising his voice slightly as the shrieking seemed to hurt his ears as well.
The young girls just quickly climbed onto the bed, trading their playful shrieks to giggles as they quickly got on all fours, crawling their way up to the top of the bed to cuddle with you and Eddie.
"Mommy! Daddy-! We're hungryyyyyy" your 6 year old daughter, Sabrina whined- her little arms wrapping around her dad's tattooed bicep as he sat up in the bed.
"Yeah-! I'm hungwyyy!!" Your 4 year old, Willow whined as well, her little lisp showing through her words.
They both were just clinging onto Eddie, causing you to chuckle as you watched him lift them both up, standing up from the bed with both of them in his arms.
"Alright, alright-! Why don't we head downstairs my little babes- get everything set up for mom, how does pancakes sound??" Eddie said, causing the girl's faces to light up as he quickly placed them down.
"Pancakesss!!!" They both squealed before quickly sprinting out of the room, causing you and Eddie to look at each other and chuckle.
As Eddie followed them out of the room, you slowly got up, rubbing your face and yawning as you slowly shuffled behind.
The girls were already in the kitchen, eager to start making pancakes as Eddie went to go grab the supplies to make pancakes.
Both girls were chasing after each other, squealing and giggling happily as they ran around the big kitchen of your nice Los Angeles home.
With the success of Corroded Coffin, it also came with a shit ton of money for Eddie- too much almost, he always thought it was stupid with the amount of money he owned now.
So he decided to try and use it for some good use, spoiling his two little girls and the love of his life-obviously wanting to make sure you all had the best life possible..
As Eddie started making pancakes, you watched the girls as they ran around happily, which you couldn't help but smile at.
You had the perfect life- two beautiful kids, a handsome and caring husband, an amazing home.
It was perfect..
You decided after a little bit of just standing there to walk up behind eddie, slowly wrapping your arms around his bare torso while laying your head down on his back.
"Hey baby." he muttered softly, turning his head to look back at you with a soft smile.
You just looked back up at him with the same smile, admiring him while placing a small kiss on his back.
"I love you so much Munson." you said, slowly moving one of yours hands to rest on his back as you continued to lean against him.
"You're the love of my life sweetheart." He said, slowly turning his body to face you as he wrapped his arms around you, engulfing you in a hug.
You stood there with Eddie for a while, just enjoying the moment and the warmth of his chest as he held you..
After a little bit, you decided to let Eddie finish cooking as you set the table up, also telling the girls to sit down at the table.
You all just sat down at the table together as Eddie placed the pancakes on everybody's plates, all talking and laughing and just enjoying time as a family together.
You couldn't have asked for anything else in life.

The Burrow home was warm, dimly lit, and smelled of tomato sauce. Joe and Y/N's three year old twins, Hudson and Elijah, were sprawled out on their living room rug, scribbling away in their new Paw Patrol coloring books. Y/N was washing a few more dishes as she waited for the garlic bread in the oven, and Joe was setting the table as he usually did to help his wife. He had just placed the twins' booster seats on their plush dining chairs as the oven began to beep — indicating that it was time for him to rush to the kitchen, so he could get the bread out of the oven before Y/N. He entered the kitchen just in time, seeing his wife bent over sliding an oven mitt on her hand.
"No, ma'am." He spoke, placing his right hand on the small of her back. "I'll do it."
Y/N straightened her back, smiling at the blonde man as she slid the oven mitt off of her hand. "I'm perfectly capable of grabbing a pan of breadsticks, honey." She said, earning a small chuckle from her husband.
"I know, mama." He took the oven mitt from her, moving it onto his much larger hand. "I just wanna make sure you don't strain yourself too much." The volume of his voice descended as he bent over, and quickly opened the oven before removing the fresh breadsticks from it. Y/N couldn't help but blush from how considerate her husband was, how he always had been. He was the exact same level of protective when she was pregnant with Hudson and Elijah, only he was much more anxious because they were the first pregnancy.
"I'll fix all of our plates." He placed the pan on the counter, throwing the oven mitt to the side. "You go grab the monsters. The food'll be on the table when you get back." He finished, placing a quick kiss to her forehead before she turned and exited the kitchen.
Waddling into the dimly lit living room, she slowly crouched down to her children's level. "Hi, mama." Hudson chirped. "Hey, mommy!" Elijah cheesed, both of them looking up from their coloring books for the first time in over ten minutes.
"Hey, champs." She ran a hand over their unruly blonde curls, "Are you guys hungry? Daddy is getting your favorite ready."
Their little blue eyes immediately widened in excitement, lifting up from their stomachs to their feet. "Sketti?" He showed his bright teeth as he looked at his mother, Elijah put a hand on his head, looking up at the ceiling with a groan.
"Ugh! We always have sketti, guys!" Y/N giggled at Hudson's excitement and Elijah's annoyance before nodding her head. "Yeah. Sorry, buddy. Sketti is really good and easy for mommy to make." Elijah crossed his arms over his chest with a smirk, giving his mother a knowing look.
"We have to clean up our mess before we eat, though. Okay?" Y/N said, her boys seemingly standing at attention now.
They nodded their heads. "Yes, ma'am!" They chirped, plopping down to their knees. Hudson grabbed their coloring books and neatly stacked them on the table, while Elijah quickly threw their crayons into a large pencil box. He closed the lid before Hudson threw their coloring books on top, grabbing it and sliding it on the table next to their long couch. "All done!" Y/N smiled brightly at her boys, feeling her heart swell with joy knowing how well her and Joe had been raising their boys.
She took her time to rise to her feet, being mindful of her big belly. Once she stood up straight, her boys reached out for her hand and began leading her into the dining room. Joe's face lit up seeing his favorite people, the twins released their mother's hand before running to their father's side instead. "Hey, dudes!" Joe smiled, placing the final plate down on the table and engulfing his sons into a tight hug. "You guys ready to eat?"
Y/N smiled as the boys vigorously nodded their heads. Joe placed them in their booster seats one at a time, where they immediately picked up their small forks and shoveled noodles into their mouths. Joe pulled his wife's chair out as usual, rubbing her shoulder gently once she sat down. "Thank you." She said, placing her napkin on her thigh.
The dining room was consumed by the quiet. The only noise being the scraping of forks on the plates, and the exaggerated slurping sound from the twins eating their dinner. Dinner always went this way, the first few minutes are quiet, then once Y/N starts slowly becoming full she breaks the silence. She finished chewing her garlic bread, wiping her mouth with her napkin before placing it down on the table. Her eyes sparked with enthusiasm, "Guess what, honey? The boys and I were thinking of coming to your game this weekend!"
Joe with a mouthful of spaghetti noodles, glanced over at their lively toddlers, and couldn't help but feel a wave of concern. "You sure about that, babe? The game can get pretty chaotic, especially with the boys being so energetic, and, well, you being pregnant." He said, his tone laced with concern as he spoke.
His wife only smiled, her eyes reflecting her determination. "I know it might be a lot, but they love watching you play, and I want them to experience that excitement. Plus, the baby can hear the crowd cheering, right?" She suggested. She was right, if they went, it would be her and the twins' first game in a while due to her pregnancy's waves of sickness. She had been feeling great all week, and had been itching to see Joe in action on the field.
Joe sighed as he placed his fork down, torn between wanting his family there and worrying about their well-being. "I just don't want it to be too much for you." He looked at his wife, "The stadium can get pretty loud, and the boys are two big bundles of energy."
Look, Y/N was pregnant, almost a week past her five month mark. Her belly wasn't huge, but it most definitely wasn't little either. She had been sick for most of the pregnancy so far, and sometimes between the pain it was fairly easy for her to become aggravated. Joe was very understanding in those times, and was always sweet to her no matter her attitude. She closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath. "I appreciate your concern, Joe, but we can handle it."
Hudson, completely oblivious to the conversation, was busy playing with his food. While Elijah was occasionally mimicking the cheers of a football crowd. As the dinner conversation continued, Joe could sense Y/N's irritation slowly rising even though she was doing pretty well at containing it. "I don't know, babe. Can I just think about it a bit more?" He asked genuinely, looking toward his wife with brooding eyes.
She forced a small smile as she huffed out her nose, "Yeah, sure." She replied, standing from her seat and gathering her plate and silverware. "I think I'm gonna take a bubble bath. Can you put the boys to bed?"
Joe nodded, eyeing his wife's body language as she walked into the kitchen to put her dishes away. She came back into the dining room, placing a kiss on Hudson and Elijah's tomato splattered cheeks before making her way up the stairs. She didn't look at Joe again, letting him know that she truly was irritated with him now and he would have to smooth things over before bed.
He looked toward his twins with a smile, "You full?"
Y/N took her time in the bathtub. She felt guilty about leaving dinner abruptly, but she knew Joe would come around, even if it took just a little bit of time. Although she didn't feel up for a conversation right now, she wished Joe would come upstairs already because she hated being upset with him. That was really the only downside of her pregnancy, she was always so emotional and found herself getting irritated with her husband much easier. She finally decided to step out of the bathtub, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around her body.
Joe figured Y/N wanted to be alone for a bit longer, so once he had the boys sound asleep in their race car shaped beds, he went back downstairs and cleaned up the mess left behind by dinner. Y/N had just slipped out of the bathroom, when Joe quietly shut the door to their shared bedroom. He almost winced as he watched his wife walk right past him, grabbing some clothes before going back into their bathroom.
He sat down at the foot of their bed, thinking about how he should approach his wife on the soft topic. Once he had an idea, he untucked their sheets, set his alarms and turned on their bedside lamp. Trading his sweater and jeans for a pair of sweatpants, he made his way over to the bathroom door. He hesitated for a moment, before lifting his hand to softly knock on the door. "Y/N, can I come in, please?"
He heard a faint response, slowly opening the door to find his wife standing at the sink, applying a lotion to her under eyes. He took a moment to examine her features, a look of frustration and hurt was on her face. "I didn't mean to upset you and I'm sorry if it came across in the wrong way." Joe began, his voice filled with remorse. "I just worry about you guys at the game."
Y/N turned to face Joe, seeing the look of guilt and worry on his face. "I know, I just feel like you don't want us there or something." She tried to hush the last part of her sentence, but Joe heard her loud and clear. He could tell by the way her bottom lip began to puff out, she was slowly getting closer to a breakdown. He instantly brought his hands to her cheeks, running his thumbs over her under eyes. "I thought we were supposed to share these moments as a f—family." She stuttered, and her vision blurred from the tears that began to burn her eyes. Her pregnancy was effecting her emotions more than ever right now, and that alone was irritating her more than Joe.
"That's the last thing that I want." Joe said, "I'm just really worried, that's all." Y/N nodded her head, feeling a wave of defeat wash over her body. She nodded her head slowly, as she reached up to remove Joe's hands from her face. "Okay, honey."
Joe felt so guilty, hesitated before he decided to speak up again. He reached Y/N's hand before she could grab the door knob, "Hold up, you gotta let me finish." He said, causing his wife to look up at him with tired eyes. "Maybe it's just my nerves talking. I want you and the boys there more than anything. You just gotta promise me you'll take it easy, okay? Don't go all wifey-bear if I get sacked and scream so loud you lose your voice." Her eyes instantly lit up, she stood up straight to adjust her slouching shoulders.
"You know I can't promise that, Joey." She joked, a smile tugging at the corner of her lips. "I won't do too much screaming, I don't wanna scare my boys just yet." Joe could see how her mood had already changed, a warm smile of his own forming on his face.
"I'll bring them some ear protection, and I'll even keep your parents on speed dial if I need anything." She reassured his worries, a wave of relief washing over his features as he swept a few stray curls from her forehead. He rested his hand on her cheek, looking into her eyes lovingly. "Okay, mama." He whispered, licking his lips as his eyes grazed over her whole face.
Y/N noticed the way he wet his bottom lip, "Just gonna keep starin' at me, or are you gonna kiss me?" She teased, looking up at her much taller husband. Joe didn't think twice before placing a soft kiss to his wife's lips, pulling away much quicker than she wanted him to. He peeled back with a smirk, leaning over her shoulder to open to bathroom door. "Let's get some sleep."
He helped her into their large bed, throwing the blankets over her, she instantly pulled them up to her chin. Joe made his way to his respective side of the bed, sliding in the sheets beside his wife, who mindlessly scooted closer to him and laid her head on his chest. "I'm sorry for blowing that whole thing out of proportion." She apologized, tracing shapes onto her husband's chest.
Joe shook his head, rubbing circles on her shoulder. "You have nothing to apologize for, Y/N. Just because you're pregnant, doesn't mean you can't make your own decisions. I failed to recognize that. I'm sorry, baby." Joe apologized right back, causing his wife to look up at him with a remorseful expression on her face.
"It's alright, Joey. I get that you were just worried." She responded, moving her ring clad hand to his cheek, rubbing the stubble that he knew she loved so much. "I promise you, Hudson and Elijah are gonna have so much fun, it'll all be so worth it." Joe smiled warmly, thinking of the smile that will never leave their faces once they're at the game. It's not like it would be their first game, it'll just be their first one since their mom found out she was pregnant with their younger sibling.
"I know." Joe replied, watching as his wife's eyes clearly began to get heavier to hold open. He grabbed her hand from his cheek, moving it to his lips before kissing her palm. "Goodnight, mama. I love you."
"Goodnight, Joey. I love you more."
The stadium buzzed with anticipation as the Bengals star quarterback prepared for the upcoming game. A subtle layer of worry masked his usual game-day focus, even after the conversations he'd had with his wife a few nights before. His five month pregnant wife, Y/N, and their wildly energetic three year old boys, Hudson and Elijah, were attending the game tonight.
Joe paced nervously around the locker room, glancing at his phone for any updates. The last time Y/N had texted him was the let him know they were getting snacks first, seeing as she didn't want to be up and around much during the game. He couldn't shake the concern about any potential challenges of having his family amidst the excitement of a football game.
"Everything okay, Joe?" Tee Higgins inquired, noticing the furrowed brow. He chewed a piece of bubblegum harshly, cocking his head to the side to look at his quarterback.
"Yeah, just a bit worried. Y/N's pregnant and the boys can be quite the handful. I want them to enjoy the game, but it's chaotic out there." Joe admitted.
His teammate, understanding the delicate balance between family and the intensity of the game, offered a reassuring nod. "They'll be fine. Your family is strong, just like you, man."
Just then, their coach gathered all their attention and Joe quickly thanked Tee for his understanding before grabbing his helmet.
As game time approached, Joe couldn't help but steal glances at the stands. When he spotted Y/N, her baby bump noticeable, with Hudson and Elijah, wide-eyed with excitement, a mix of anxiety and joy flooded their emotions. They both wore some ear protection that looked like it could weigh their head down if they leaned to one side, he smiled seeing his wife's hand raise in the air to give him an excited wave.
Y/N watched the whole game on the edge of her seat, occasionally standing up despite her best efforts to stay seated — trying her best to follow Joe's safety requests. Hudson's smile never fell, he was screaming louder than anyone in their section for his father. Elijah clapped in excitement, looking over at his mother and pointing to his father every three or so minutes. They had been to a few games before, but they were a little older and had a better understanding of the sport. They were already talking about playing it once they started school next year.
Y/N clapped her hands loudly as halftime finally approached, she knew Joe would be over there soon. Not even ten minutes later, her blue eyed husband was standing in front of them on the sidelines. "Hey, you guys okay?" he greeted, a touch of concern in his eyes.
"We're doing great, honey. And so are you." Y/N smiled, reaching her hand down to touch Joe's. Joe smiled widely, relieved to know that his family was enjoying themselves. Hudson and Elijah, both bouncing with enthusiasm, chimed in, "Daddy, did you see us? We waved at you!"
Joe's worry melted into a grin. "I saw, guys!" He reached up high to touch both of his son's heads. "That's awesome. Just make sure you're having fun, okay? And both of you be good for mama!"
Due to his coach's demands, Joe had to jog to the locker room after their interaction. Y/N, Hudson and Elijah waved him goodbye and took their seats until the second half.
As the game progressed, Joe felt a newfound motivation fueled by the presence of his family. Y/N, attuned to his emotions, whispered words of encouragement, both calming and inspiring. Meanwhile, Hudson and Elijah's cheers echoed through the stadium, each one a source of pride for his quarterback father. The Bengals came out on top, the game ending with a touchdown made by a pass from Joe. After the game, Y/N grabbed all of their belongings and both of her sons hands, being careful as they went up and down steps. They stood outside the locker room as she'd done since her and Joe began dating in college, both her and her boys bouncing with anticipation for the man to come out to them.
Once he emerged from the locker room, he swung his bag to his back, took Hudson onto his hip and hugged his wife with one arm around her neck. Y/N held Elijah on her hip as well. "You guys made this win even sweeter. Thanks for being here." he said, genuine gratitude in his eyes.
Y/N hugged him tightly, "We wouldn't miss it for the world. We're your biggest fans, no matter the chaos." She raised a hand to rank through his blonde hair, tears prickling in her eyes. They weren't tears of sadness or fear, just tears of pure happiness.
As they left the stadium, the Burrow family walked hand in hand, the worries of the game day transformed into a cherished memory. In that moment, Joe realized that having his wife and sons by his side added a layer of joy and support that went beyond the triumphs on the field. They were a team, weathering the excitement and challenges together, creating a bond that extended far beyond the football game.

Maybe could you write a dad Eddie x reader fic where penny wants to have a baby of her own so she can be a mom like reader
You were cuddled up to Eddie’s side on the couch, your toddler playing with her toys on the floor and your newborn curled in your arms, his face nuzzled against your bare breast as he nursed.
The TV was on, but you and Eddie had long forgone your horror and dark fantasy movies for child friendly films and shows like Sesame Street, which was currently displayed on the screen. It was far from your favorite thing to watch, for either of you, your daughter was entranced with reruns of the show, and had a special love for Kermit and Elmo.
“I’m telling you, there is no way they’re just roommates.” Eddie remarked with a scoff, during the Bert and Ernie segment.
“They so are! I mean, the romantic tension is obviously present but neither has acted on it yet. Ernie’s too oblivious to do anything about it, probably thinks it’s only one-sided, and if Ernie’s not showing his interest, Bert’s not gonna make a move.” You countered, sinking further into Eddie’s side. His arm was around your shoulders, hand stroking along your forearm before latching onto his son’s tiny sock covered toes and giving them a gentle wiggle to which baby Wayne curled his feet further into his body, depriving his father of access to his toes. It didn’t distract the little glutton from the task at hand, your baby just mouthed a little at your nipple, head moving around until it was in place before latching once more.
Eddie chuckled at that, watching with affection as his baby continued to stare up at you with wide eyes while he nursed, before his gaze moved back to the characters in question.
“Sweetheart, they are clearly in a domestic partnership, they’ve just grown very comfortable around each other. We don’t need to see their affection to know they’re in a relationship.”
“They sleep in separate beds, Eds.”
  “Okay, you got me there.”
Penny chose then to get up from the floor, rushing over with the baby doll you’d gotten for her when you’d told her you were pregnant. She leaned against Eddie’s leg, resting her head on his thigh and letting him stroke over her curls before she pushed herself up and held the doll out to you.
“Is that your baby doll?” You asked, assuming she was trying to show it off and she nodded, continuing to extend it and you realized she was trying to give it to you.
  “Hew you go, mama.”
You made sure your actual baby was secure against you, glancing down to meet his unwavering stare as he ate, satisfied grunts sounding from him every so often, before you took the doll into your free hand, “Oh, you want me to hold…her?”
You didn’t know what gender it was supposed to be, you’d heard Penny change it constantly.
“Uh huh!” She nodded, grabbing onto Eddie’s knee and using it to sway back and forth. Sounded simple enough, you could play along, “She’s hungwy.”
“You want to hand me her bottle then?” You could see the toy baby bottle, it had come included with, on the floor where Penny had previously been playing.
“No, you has to feed the babies.” Penny released her dad’s knee to poke at her chest with both index fingers. “Fom wight hew.”
You could hear and feel Eddie choke beside you, trying to muffle his laughter as you realized your toddler wanted you to breastfeed her doll.
“Oh. Um.” You tried to think of a way to get out of it, casting Eddie a glare when you caught sight of his wide smirk from your peripheral vision. “Brother is eating right now.”
“Udda one.” She pointed at your freed up, covered boob rather than the one your son’s wispy curl covered head was blocking for her.
Damn it, Penny was beginning to become too self aware.
Reluctantly, and very awkwardly, you held the baby doll’s plastic head against your other breast as Eddie literally started shaking against you. He might as well have just laughed outright with all the wheezing he was doing. Even Penny was casting him a few side-eyes.
You turned your head towards him, eyes narrowing as Eddie continued to try to muffle his amusement behind a fist, face turning red with his effort but not even his fist was large enough to conceal the grin at your expense.
Penny, however, looked like the cat who got the cream, happy you were once again complying with her demands.
You thought you’d be able to put the doll down once she went back to the toys, no luck, she’d apparently come over with the intention of watching you ‘feed’ her baby. So for like seven entire awkward minutes, you held the doll to your boob, its plastic face pressed against it, while she stared at you and Eddie suffocated on his amusement. The reason he didn’t just openly laugh at you was because he knew Penny would get mad at him. He could tell this wasn’t a game to her and if he laughed at something she didn’t intend to be funny, he’d have an angry toddler on his hands.
Then you’d be the one laughing.
Mercifully, Penny eventually grew bored of watching you and reached up for the doll, which you were all too happy to give back. “You want to burp her?”
The answer to that was no. Penny adjusted the baby doll in her hands until its face was smashed to her chest. It was half her size, but her motive was clear as she beamed up at you.
  She was imitating you.
“Look! I A MAMA, LIKE MAMA!”

Just want to request prompt #16, maybe where the reader was super busy and tired and wasn’t able to do any of the chores. However Joe also had a long day but he wanted to do the chores for the reader to take off some stress from her. Something like that filled with fluff 😚❤️
warnings: none
You came home extremely tired from work, ever since you were tiny you dreamt of a flower shop. After you went away to college and came back you earned a little money you decided to open it, later on your journey you met Joe, he was there picking lilies for his mom on Mother´s day and he kept showing up every week until he ran out of excuses to give flowers for his mom
"You know I can physically see you thinking of something to say when you order these flowers right?" you said looking at him and you saw his eyes smile for the first time "Well, I love giving my mom flowers is that a bad thing?" "No it isn´t, that´s actually really sweet," you said on the other side of the counter "How can I help you today Joe?" you said smiling "Can I have your number? I would love to take you out on a date?" he said hopping you didn´t had a boyfriend -which you didn't- but to him it was impossible, you were gorgeous and the times you had talked you were as sweet as pie.
It´s safe to say you went on a date with him, and three years later you had your first and only child -until now - a little baby boy with the biggest blue eyes ever, he looked exactly like his dad you were crying tears of joy when you saw him for the first time.
Joe was an excellent father, boyfriend and above all he was an impeccable man, he loved spending his nights in and taking care of you and your little one, even though you didn´t plan on having a kid so soon, it happened and you were sure you were made to be his mom and he was made to be your son. And Joe loved it, he loved the fact that he could teach him the same things his dad reached him, but deep down he was born to be a girl dad, there wasn´t a single day where he didn't wonder about his life having a little girl
"We´ve talked about this before Joe, Jack is still so little and I´m focused on the flower shop, the off-season it´s the only time you are here 24/7 and I don´t blame you it´s your job but you have to understand that I have my dreams as well" you said putting the dishwasher on, as much as you loved being a mom, it wasn´t in your plans soon, "I have told you a hundred times I make enough money for us, you can stay here and watch our children, and, " Joe said but you stopped him, it was getting in your nerves he couldn´t take a no for an answer "This isn´t about me needing your money, you had a dream when you were a kid and you worked hard for it, you got it, and you´re living your dream, this is about me and what I need to do because I owe myself this, and I´m not ready to be a mom again, the last pregnancy was on the season and I hated being alone, I can do this again, you said walking out of the kitchen going upstairs to take a shower, you had been working all day and the last thing you wanted was to take out your anger on him.
When you came out of the shower and made your way to your bed you saw that Joe wasn´t there, he knew he had done wrong so he gave you space, and as much as you would love for him to come back to you you saw him sleeping with Jack on his bed, the bed was so tiny and Joe was so big it made you giggle.
The next morning he left for practice and he dropped Jack off at school, it was a weird feeling because you didn´t want him near you, you just wanted to be alone, you loved your kid, but being a mom can be an exhausting job.
A few hours had passed and the doorbell on the flower shop was ranged "Can I get a big bouquet of peonies?" he was standing there, with your favorite matcha latte and his sorry eyes, "Sure, do you want to write a note?" you said not making eye contact with him "Yes I want to write I´m sorry, I´m the world´s worst boyfriend please" he said trying to make you look at him, "Joe" you said but he interrupted "I´m sorry, I know I went too far, this is your dream and you´re pretty good at it, to be honest" and you punched him on the arm as he laughed "C´mon let´s go pick up Jack" you said telling the girls on the flower shop you were leaving, you rarely did this but there wasn´t any jobe due that day and you needed your family.
Later that day you were on the couch watching Cars with Jack and while you were falling asleep you heard Joe whisper "I forgot to add in the note that you´re the hottest MILF ever" he said kissing your ear but you decided to just close your eyes and go to sleep.
a/n: I know this isn´t exactly what you asked for but i got carried away writing this one and tbh i´m falling asleep writing this lol BUT I loved writing this, hopefully, i´ll get out of my writers block and give you the last chapter of fwd series :)

hi, lovely! i was wondering if, when you’re able do, you could do one about joe and pregnant!reader and toddler go out and get crowded by paparazzi? i know you’ve done one similar so don’t feel inclined to do this if you don’t want to <3
‘Twice in one day?’ - J.K
amazing idea!! this is such a cute concept, i didn’t know how to end it so i hope this was okay <33
Tumblr media
you walked through the streets of LA, Poppy in the middle of you and Joe, holding her hands tightly as the swarm of fans and paparazzi started forming. you’d only wanted to go out to get some lunch and do a bit of shopping for Poppy but of course it would be ruined by the fans and weirdos who followed you with a camera.
you’d put your free hand on your bump, trying to shield it from the masses of people pushing and shoving you to get a photo with and of Joe. after a few minutes, and the crowds getting bigger, Joe picked up Poppy and grabbed your hand tightly. “i didn’t know they knew we were here” he said into your ear as you tried to walk away from everyone.
Poppy started getting scared, the screaming of Joe’s name, the flashing lights, the shoving, it was all getting too much for the poor 3 year old. the crowd got bigger and Joe started getting more and more agitated. “daddy i’m scared” he heard Poppy say into his ear as he walked, pulling you closer to him. “it’s okay love, we’ll be inside in a minute.
you guys were walking to the mall from the diner you had just been at and you would have never left the house if you knew this was going to happen. “Joe there is too many people, maybe we should go home” you said to him, hearing the many fans girls calling his name.
the paparazzi had been trying to get a shot of you for weeks, he knew the photos they’d get would be in the magazines, selling some stupid story about him and you which wasn’t true and he hated the fact that everyone was pushing you to get to him. he was furious.
“wanna go home” he heard Poppy say before she started crying, scared of everything around her. he tried his best to calm her down amongst the screams and lights but he lost it when he heard you yelp. the paparazzi had pushed someone into you and hit your bump, making you fall slightly onto him. “enough!” he shouted, finally talking to everyone that was surrounding him. “you okay love?” he said, looking at you to see if you were severely hurt. you nodded your head and he spoke up again.
“stop screaming and shoving. it’s all too much. you’ve just barge into my wife who’s carrying a baby, and, you’re scaring my daughter with the shouting and those lights on those cameras are to fucking bright. she’s three years old and you guys are terrifying her. we can barely walk because of how many people there are. can’t you guys see that we are people just like you guys? leave us alone” he shouted, grabbing your hand and pulling your through the crowd of people who just stopped and listened.
the fans backed away but the paparazzi didn’t stop, shouting questions at him like ‘are you okay Joe?’ ‘is the new baby stressing you out?’ ‘are we really scaring Poppy or is she scared of you shouting?’. he was even more pissed off when they brought you two into the questions. you and Poppy were so innocent and Poppy was terrified by the relentless shouting by different people she didn’t know.
you grabbed Joe’s arm tightly as you walked, seeing the mall coming up. Poppy was still crying on Joe’s shoulder. hands clutching his shirt as he walked, holding her securely with one arm, the other was rubbing her back soothingly, trying to calm her down.
you reached the mall and walked in, the paparazzi staying outside like they were supposed to. you took a deep breath and walked to a bench which was in the mall, sitting down to breathe. being 7 months pregnant and doing all this walking took a toll on you. Joe stood in front of you as he rocked Poppy down in his arms, telling her it was okay and that they were safe now.
your heart broke as you heard the sobs of your little girl. she’d never been swarmed like that before and she was absolutely terrified. “it’s okay baby, they’re gone now.” Joe said, kissing her forehead, then resting his head on top of hers. “you alright love?” he asked you, watching you sat down on the bench, hand on your stomach. you nodded and put your arms out to take Poppy onto your lap, giving Joe a break.
he passed her to you and you sat her on your lap, bump getting in between you, but you pulled her as close as you could and her arms wrapped around your shoulders. Joe sat next to you, watching the two of you as you calmed Poppy down. Joe called his manager, Matt, telling him everything that had happened and that he wasn’t sure about what to do once they had finished shopping.
“it’s too much Matt. she’s three years old. she’s terrified, she doesn’t even know these people and y/n. she was shoved and got her bump hit. i can’t do this now. it’s too much for three people. i’m so angry. they don’t understand personal space-” he said, standing up, walking away slightly so you could calm down Poppy in a calm environment. she looked up from your chest and rubbed her eyes. “i was scared mama” she said, feeling you wipe her tears that had fallen down her cheeks.
“i know my love, daddy’s gonna sort it out. you don’t need to be scared, we wouldn’t let anything happen to you.” you said, kissing her head, looking at her as she calmed down. “daddy held me” she said, looking around for Joe. he was pacing back and forth on the opposite side of the mall entrance. you nodded your head and put her hair behind her ear. “see, daddy was protecting you just like he was protecting me” you said, smiling at her.
Joe got off the phone and walked back to you. “you okay now P?” he asked, seeing that she had calmed down. she nodded her head and got off your lap, grabbing Joe’s hand. you stood up and she grabbed your other hand. “what did Matt say?“ you asked as you guys started walking around the mall. “he was so angry, he was annoyed that you got hurt and that the paparazzi didn’t listen, he’s gonna sort out some security for us when we leave” he said, walking into h&m.
“that’s nice of him” you said, looking down at Poppy who was looking around the store. you guys did your shopping and next thing you knew, it was 5pm and you needed to head home. you honestly didn’t want to go back out there, the girl who hit your bump hit it quite hard and it did hurt and you didn’t want it to happen again. “i’ll carry her” you said, putting your arms out for Poppy. you gave Joe your handbag and Poppy rested on top of your bump, arms around your neck as you carried her.
you walked to the entrance and saw a lot more paparazzi then earlier. you looked at Joe who looked furious and as soon as he opened the door for you, the lights started again. you kept one arm underneath Poppy’s bum, holding her up and then one on her head, comforting her. her head was in your neck, not looking out at the different people surrounding you guys. you looked around for a pathway but there literally was no room to walk, Joe walked in front of you, hand around your waist as he guided you on where to go.
“i’m not doing this again, give us space so we can walk.” he said, trying to get the paparazzi to more. they finally listened and you both started walking quickly to your car. “Joe, are you angry at us or did you and y/n have an argument?” one of the paparazzi said, Joe looked at you then back at the pathway, guiding you and Poppy but protecting you at the same time.
“do you guys have nothing better to do with your lives then follow us around? can you not see that they are scared and that your questions and shouting doesn’t help?” Joe said, a hand rubbing your back softly as he spoke. the man didn’t speak up again but the lights felt brighter and the shouts became louder. you sighed angrily as Matt had promised Joe that we would have security and it wasn’t here.
Poppy’s arms around your neck tightened as more paparazzi started shouting. “Poppy do you love your mummy and daddy?” someone said as the photos were still being taken, that’s when the millions of questions to Poppy, a three year old, started. her tears started falling down her face, again, when they were more and more shouting people calling her name. you finally got to your car and strapped Poppy in her car seat, getting in the back with her as her tears slowed down.
Joe put the stuff in the boot of the car and then started speaking to the paparazzi. “it’s a big dick move for you guys to be shouting a three year olds name and asking her questions. do you guys have kids?” Joe said, waiting for some of them to respond. most of them nodded and he spoke up again. “how would you feel if some random man started shouting your kids name whilst they were scared? you can’t go round shouting at my kid and thinking that it’s gonna be fine. learn boundaries.” Joe finished before turning back, walking to get in the drivers seat.
Joe got in and started driving home, the flashing lights finally stopping. “twice in one day? it’s getting ridiculous” he said, stopping at a red light. “maybe we should think about moving somewhere more quiet. you’re gonna get photographed wherever you go but LA is the prime spot for paparazzi” you said, throwing out a suggestion you’d been thinking of for a while. Joe looked at you through the rear-view mirror then back at the road.
“you want to move? where to?” he said, turning a corner. you sighed before looking at Poppy who was looking between you and Joe. “maybe closer to your mum and dad? or somewhere quiet where we don’t have to be scared to leave the house” you said, looking out the window. “that’s actually not a bad idea.” he said, finally pulling up to your house. “we can start looking” he said, parking the car and unbuckling his seatbelt. you unbuckled Poppy from her car seat then took off your own seat belt.
you got out the car then walked around to Poppy’s side, helping her get out. she held your hand and looked around to see if there was any paparazzi, there thankfully wasn’t. “mama, all gone” she said, pointing to the empty drive way. “i know, we’re safe now” you said, walking with her to the front door. you unlocked it and kept the door open, letting Joe walk in without having to get his keys out.
Joe walked into the living room and saw Poppy sat on the floor, drawing in her colouring book she’d gotten a few weeks ago. “you know daddy wouldn’t let anything hurt you don’t you?” he said to her as he sat down on the floor next to her. “i know daddy” she said, stopping colouring so she could hug him. “i love you P” he said, kissing her head. “love you too” she said, arms wrapping tighter around his neck.

Ocker outfits-Dad!Eddie x Reader blurb
Tumblr media
This little blurb was inspired by me finding these shoes at Wal-Mart and instantly thinking that Eddie's daughter would wear them lol.
Tumblr media
⚠️ 𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐈 𝐝𝐨 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐠𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐬, 𝐭𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞.⚠️
"(Y/n)" Eddie gasps in awe, slowly pulling the shoes closer to him, before looking at you and your daughter with the widest grin.
"Oh my God those are adorable!" You gush, your daughter finally looking up at you.
"Can we get them?! We have to get them!" He told you, already searching for her size, letting out an excited
"Heck yeah!" When he found it. You couldn't help but laugh at his excitement, ever since you had your little bundle of joy she's had him wrapped around her finger, she was his little Princess of Darkness for sure, and he spoiled her as such. But you only sat back and smiled at how gentle and loving he was with your little girl, he really was an amazing father. His excitement had drawn the attention of other shoppers, some looked annoyed, other's (especially women) looked envious of you as they walked around with their rather bored husbands.
"What do you say Princess? Wanna have your own rocker outfit?" He asked, earning an extremely excited jump and dance from your daughter as she giggled.
"Ocker!" She squealed, she was still learning, but her words brought a smile to both of your faces.
"Because she doesn't already have an entire wardrobe of Ocker outfits" you teased, earning a dramatic gasp from Eddie, who quickly reached down and scooped your daughter up in his arms, earning a giggle from her at her father's dramatic actions.
"You can never have too many Ocker outfits (y/n). Isn't that right Princess?"
"Nev mama!" She told you with a pout, her little arms instantly around her father's neck.
"Come on baby, let's find you something to go with these boots" he told her, and you watched him take her to all the different racks, both of them looking for the perfect outfit, and honestly you could watch them all day. Seeing their interactions made you fall in love with your metalhead even more. Who would have thought that first meeting would lead to this? Watching him carry your smiling child around while you played with your wedding ring.
--------------
"Ok mommy you ready?" Eddie asked from (d/n)'s room while you sat on the couch, waiting for the big reveal.
"Yes! I'm dying over here!"
"Noo!" You heard your daughter whine.
"We better get out there and save mommy with your cuteness" Eddie told her before you heard the little patter of her feet, only this time much heavier due to the boots…And if you could have died of cuteness you would have.
"Oh my God!!!" You squealed, hands over your mouth as your daughter did her father's infamous devil horns, tongue out pose. The same pose that made you fall for him, though you'd never admit it.
"You are so adorable!" You told her, watching as she danced around happily. You looked up at Eddie who was watching your daughter with a soft smile, before his eyes landed on you, the soft, loving look melting your heart even more.
"Ok, maybe one more ocker outfit was a good idea" you told him while walking over to him, leaning in to give him a kiss, one that he happily returned.
"I told you" he smiled, just staring at you for a moment…before…
"Dada an we isten to Metlicka?"
"Heck yeah we can!"
Tumblr media

Quick question:
what are your thoughts on dad!steve being he biggest girl dad alive?
omgg ty for asking this!
Tumblr media
i love the thought of this! i feel like steve would be the most overprotective BUTTT the best girl dad ever. "you aren't allowed to go on a date until you're 18 young lady!". he would be so so sweet and always listen to her problems. steve would let his daughter "cook" with him just to make her happy! (he only lets his girl put the pasta noodles in the pan and stir and hand him stuff). he would take his daughter wherever she wants to go and also buy her whatever she wants because are we forgetting he's loaded?! family movie/game nights happen every so often and he lets her win or pick the movie most of the time. he would take his daughter to get icecream after school when she got an A on her report card! if steve's daughter wanted to move out of hawkins he would support her decision and encourage her the whole time, as long as she called every night and kept in touch. think about it... playdates with robin, nancy, eddie and jonathan! steve likes to braid his daughters her when they're laying on the couch together while they're watching a movie. gifts. lots and lots of gifts. his girl is definitelyyy spoiled. imagine! #1 dad award would definitely go to mr. harrington!

First off I looove your writing and look forward to it every week!! Im sure you have tons of blurb requests but could I add a dad joe request where he has teenagers (lived your blurb of that) where they catch their kids like having a party or something?
We Didn't Think You'd Be Back|| Joe Burrow x reader
Tumblr media
•pairing: Joe Burrow x reader
•summary: You and Joe come home from your date night to see that your kids threw a party…
•warnings: allusions to sex, dirty talk, language, angry joe and reader, partying, mentions of underage drinking/smoking (there’s none), uhhh i think that’s it? lol
"Mmm," you moaned out as Joe kissed that sweet spot on your neck. The spot that always had you making those beautiful sounds that Joe loved, even twenty years later. You bit your lip as Joe continued to kiss and suck at the skin of your neck and slightly exposed chest. You brought your hands to Joe's upper back, letting your hands trail up to the nape of his neck and letting them rest there. You let out a soft moan at the feeling of Joe's soft lips against your skin, the sound making Joe groan in return. You felt Joe's groan vibrate against your neck, making you shiver involuntarily. Joe pulled his face away from the side of your neck, gazing at you with a lustful look in his blue eyes.
"If you keep that up we're going to have a fifth kid to worry about." He said huskily, making you smile.
"It's a good thing I have an IUD then..." you trailed off, leaning in enough to whisper something in Joe's ear. Something you'd never say out loud to anyone--except Joe. Joe smirked at the words you had uttered in his ear. He reached out and placed a hand on your denim covered thigh, squeezing gently as he spoke.
"I know a place better than the car to do that in..."
"Then show me the way home, Joey." You said is a sultry tone, smirking at your husband as you did so.
With that, Joe put the car in drive and drove the two of you back home, eager to get you inside and up to the bedroom. The two of you went out on a much needed date night. Since Joe's retirement from the NFL, the two of you have been able to spend a lot more time together. Tonight being one of those nights. You left your three children home alone, putting the oldest of the three in charge of the other two. Hazel, your sophomore in college who was home for the summer, wasn't the most responsible of your four children. But you could trust her to watch her younger siblings for a night.
Joe pulled the car into the driveway, his eyebrows furrowing in confusion as he noticed all of the cars parked along the street in front of the house. Joe glanced over at you and you just shrugged.
"Maybe the neighbors are having a party?"
Joe's jaw clenched as he peered out the window, looking at your lit up house--not the neighbors. He shook his head in disappointment as his mouth dropped open in disbelief. He huffed out a sigh as he roughly put the car in park.
"It's not the neighbors that are having a party," he looked over at you, "It's us."
You rolled your eyes and rubbed your hands down your face, letting out a deep sigh. "You've got to be shitting me..." you mumbled angrily under your breath. You and Joe both got out of the car and took a deep breath before you angrily stormed into your home, immediately looking for any of your children.
Digital Animal by Honey Claws was blaring out of the sound system in your living room. A large number of teenagers dancing and grinding to the rave like music. You and Joe just stood in the entry way, jaws dropped in disbelief as you looked at the teenagers in your home.
"Oh I'm gonna kill them." Joe fumed through gritted teeth, while his jaw continued to clench in anger. You shook your head, not even sure what to say you were in so much shock. You and Joe were gone for almost four hours. You thought you could trust your kids to make smart choices while you were gone, but boy were you wrong...
You were about to respond to Joe when one of Jace's friends came up to the two of you, holding an energy drink in his hands. At least there was no alcohol. Then you'd really have a problem.
"Hey Mrs. Burrow," the boy smirked, "How you doin'? I didn't know you'd be home this early."
Joe scoffed in amusement at his sons friend, "Well Max, this is our house." The teen laughed, "Heh, yeah you're right. Anyways, it was good seeing you."
The boy ran off toward Joe's film room, "YO Jace!" he shouted throwing hand up in the air and pointing in your direction, "Your mom is such a MILF, dude!"
Your mouth dropped open in disbelief as you slowly turned to look up at Joe. He was chuckling at the boys words. You gave him a look that said: What are you doing?!
"I mean," Joe smirked, a sly smile on his face, "The kids not wrong..." You shook your head and smacked Joe's chest, making him chuckle. Before kicking all of the partying teenagers out and stopping the party, you and Joe looked around for who started the party: your daughter Hazel. You searched almost every room in the house until you came across something you never wanted to see...
"Oh my god!" Joe exclaimed as he smacked his hands onto his face, quickly covering his eyes. "DAD!" Hazel shrieked, pushing her boyfriend off of her and reaching for her discarded t-shirt, holding it over her body. She stared at you and Joe with a deer in headlights look.
"I can't believe this." you mumbled under your breath. This just kept getting worse. You put your hands up on the top of your head, shaking your head in disbelief as you glanced over at Joe. He still had his hands over his eyes, but you could tell he was fuming.
"What the hell do you think you're doing!?"
Hazel visibly gulped before she spoke, "We didn't think you'd be back until a lot later...so we kind of threw a little party?"
Joe removed his hands from his face, clenching his jaw as he spoke, "Yeah, yeah we can see that." Joe put his hands on his hips as he stared daggers at his daughter.
The two of you chewed out your daughter before searching for your Ivy and Jace, doing the same chewing out to them, too. You couldn't believe they would throw a party at the house while you were gone for four hours. Even though you were both livid with your teenagers, you and Joe were at least thankful there was no smoking or drinking. That would have made things much worse for everyone involved. After having a stern talking to with your kids and sending them to their rooms for the night, you kicked the rest of the partying teenagers out of your house. Once everyone was out of the house, you and Joe plopped down on the couch, letting out heavy sighs once you were sat. So much for your night alone together.
"I'm still in so much shock right now." You said, staring off into the distance. Joe chuckled lightly beside you, "Over what? Our kids throwing a party or our sons best friend calling you a MILF?"
You rolled your eyes, a light laugh escaping your lips as you replied, "Both."
You and Joe both laughed before discussing what to do about the party that was thrown. You were extremely disappointed that the night had to end like this, and not the way you were hoping...
You both have a mess to clean up, and unfortunately, it's not one that you and Joe made.

It was a bright day at Disneyworld. The sun shining so high it hurt a little. It was hot and Joe’s arms looked a little sunburnt, but you had too much fun to care about that. He said there would be aloe vera later. What mattered now was how much fun you were having, especially with your little girl on your side.
Already she was one year old, and the trip was made for all of you to have fun as a family. Would she not remember this? Maybe not, but you would! Even as you rolled her in on the stroller, she was smiling, and her big eyes were looking everywhere. So many bright, pastel sights, caramel smells, and loud, joyful music caused her to kick her chubby legs in delight.
“Hey look there!” Joe pointed out.
There was a ride full of bright pastel teacups spinning around on a wheel as the riders inside made the teacup itself spin. It played the colorful, whimsical opening of “Very Merry Unbirthday” delightfully as the riders cheered.
“This looks fun, doesn’t it! And the Disney Adult blog I read has it listed as safe for her age- she can go!” Joe insisted.
Before the trip, Joe researched Disney World religiously. He wrote down and planned every detail to the hour of your trip. He insisted Disney was different from your average run-of-the-mill amusement park. You had to plan and secure Fast Passes for any of the Good Stuff ™ and even figure out which characters would be there that day. Any baby could take a cute picture with one of them and your phone was full of your daughter with smiling princesses and button-nosed animals.
Rides were different.  But with a little one year old girl, the Mountain Roller Coasters were out of the question. He made a list of rides that she could go on with you and you tackled them all, braving lines that were only forty minutes as opposed to the usual two hours from Joe’s Machiavellian Fast Pass and hour strategy. You went on Small World, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Country Bear Jamboree, Winnie The Pooh (your daughter’s personal favorite so far!), Jungle Cruise, and Peter Pan. Now you were tired of rides for the moment, but Joe wanted your daughter to experience every ride she could- and The Teacups were next on the list. You had all just braved long lines to get some refreshing lemonade on this hot day. Joe’s dole whip was already devoured and discarded in the trash bin nearby.
“You go on ahead, I just would like my drink.”
“Are you sure, Y/N?” Joe asked.
“Yes, I am! Go have fun with your daughter!” you said.
All of you were wearing matching shirts with your own color-coded Mickey ears, sunglasses, shorts, and comfy walking shoes. Joe scooped the girl in his arms.
There’s a kiddie ride and you’re in that section. Yes, it was tiring, but it was fun and bright. Above all were two things: one, your daughter got to experience it and have fun. And secondly, Joe, who’s a giant kid himself got to experience it and have fun.
You sat there, sipping the Lemonade. It was so sweet it took everything in you not to just chug it down in a second. You watched as Joe, carrying your little girl, was progressing closer and closer to the ride. Indeed, he found way to keep her entertained. He even pointed to where you were sitting with the stroller. He waved with his hand and your daughter followed suit, smiling. She was indeed a wonderful combination. The best of Joe and the best of You all rolled up into one person. She was a miracle and the love of your lives.
It still took a little while. Looking through the photos taken so far today, there was so much genuine love it beamed off of Joe’s smile. The way you looked at each other like you were good enough to eat as you took photos in front of Cinderella’s Castle. Then when your daughter was with Daddy to meet her favorite characters, she was either beaming with her big eyes or shyly cuddling dad for comfort.
He made his way up and the Cast Member secured both dad and baby were secure onto the ride. Even the cast member seemed to smile and fall under your daughter’s cute smile.
You glanced to your right, seeing one parkgoer, dressed in the purple and yellow colors quoting Rapunzel with Flower crown ears watching the ride while snacking on a Giant, Mickey Shaped Pretzel. You struggled not to laugh at the irony, considering how you and Joe met.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
They were serving giant, soft pretzels at the cafeteria and you were excited. After a hard, long morning of classes you were starving and it sounded amazing to you. It was one of the few cafeteria foods that wasn’t absolute shit.
So you got over there, ready for that pretzelly goodness. Facing another line that was too damn long. When you finally got to the promised land of that area…there was only one.
You reached to get it when you saw a white hand meet yours to touch the pretzel. It grazed against your own instead.
Who on earth would want your pretzel! They had some nerve! You turned to them only to find the cutest boy you had ever laid eyes on. Yes, there were ripped, hot guys. Yes, there were suave, tall-dark-and-handsome types. But this guy was…approachable. Human. Yet divine all the same. He was a  red-haired boy with hazel eyes, a sharp nose, and of medium height.
His eyes widened, looking right back at you, piercing into you. For a second you just stared at each other. Then, snapped back to reality, you turned your head to the single pretzel. His own followed yours.
Sweeping with your hand to present it, you said  “you should have the pretzel”
He shook his head.
“No- you, should get it!”
 “No, you!”
Your heart picked up as the words flew out.
“How about we split it?”
You couldn’t let such a cute, seemingly single guy get away from you!
He let out a little laugh and a smile. “Why, sure thing! Doesn’t bug me at all!”
Using tongs, you got the pretzel on your plate. Then taking a silver knife, you cut it in half and gave it to him.
“Here you go,” you said.
“Are you…are you sitting with anyone?”
“No” you replied.
“Well, neither am I…”
“I don’t even know your name!” you insisted.
“Name’s Joe.”
“I’m Y/N.”
Both of you found a spot and were chatting, getting to know each other. Joe was easy to talk to and always listened to what you had to say. He was studying film. Oh God, please not a film bro, you prayed quietly as you chewed on your soft pretzel. Thankfully, his tastes were not full of four-hour slogs or hour-long exploitation films trying to pass sexual violence as art. No, not at all! He was very sweet and bright with excellent taste. In fact, he was an actor!
“No way, what were you in?” you asked.
“The biggest one was when I was a kid…I was Tim in Jurassic Park!”
“No! Shut up! With Laura Dern and Jeff Golblum??”
“Yup! He even gave me a Beatles album!”
“Wow!”
You had gotten up to go get some dessert to continue the conversation, but your foot caught onto a puddle of slippery Coca Cola spilled onto the floor. Your foot lost its stability and you started to trip.
That is, until Joe reached down to catch you with his arms.
Just from that look, feeling safe in his arms- his eyes piercing yours and yours piercing his, you knew you found someone truly different.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Joe cried.
His voice cut you back to the present day. Joe was cheering on the teacups as happily and passionately as any roller coaster. Your daughter let out a laugh and in her security seat, even she was lifting her chubby arms to enjoy the ride. The wind whipped through them as they spiraled in their purple teacup.
Thank God for the soft pretzel. Thank God for the soda on the floor. Such small things, yet they led you to such indescribable happiness and the two people who loved you and who you loved in turn more than anything.

TENDERHEARTS & TOUCHDOWNS
Tumblr media
PAIRING: Joe Burrow 𝔁 Black!Wife!Reader
GENRE: Husband & Dad Joe
BACKSTORY: Y/N and Joe were the couple that all the students of LSU dreamed of being. Their story was straight out of a movie — Joe being the school's star quarterback, and Y/N being the cheerleader who cheered him on from the sidelines. They got lots of criticism, people not being able to accept the fact that Joe Burrow was in love with a biracial woman.
Even before they both transferred LSU, it was still them two against the world. There was a few schedule clashes due to Joe taking online classes and her attending in-person school, but they defied all odds and graduated still happily together.
Once Joe was picked the play for the Bengals, he wasted no time proposing to Y/N. Obviously, she said yes — and they began to plan for their future. As they continued to live their lives, each and every puzzle piece began to come together right before their eyes.
Don't let the all the details of happiness fool you, their journey did not come without its obstacles. Struggling with the pressures of Joe's high-profile status, Y/N must confront her own fears and insecurities. Will their love endure the tests of time and adversity, or will the challenges they face prove too formidable?
"Tenderhearts & Touchdowns" is a heartwarming tale of love, sacrifice, and resilience, reminding us that sometimes the most meaningful victories happen off the field.

I do imagine the reader to be black/biracial but of course, it is solely reliant on your imagination for how you look in these imagines! This universe will follow my little Burrow family of 5, Y/N and Joe will have twin boys, Hudson and Elijah, along with their baby girl, Sawyer!
So far, all of my drafts have turned out really cute and I cannot wait to share them. I am also still learning how to work Tumblr, so please, bear with me lol! I hope you guys enjoy reading these short stories as much as I do writing them. Suggestions and ideas are appreciated and I'd love some feedback! Enjoy! <3

“Hold still, baby.” Eddie quipped around the little scrunchy clenched between his teeth. The baby between his lap did not easily comply, she had no idea what he was saying as she let out squeals. In her hand was a set of toy keys that had gained her favor in the last few weeks, and there was nothing Penny enjoyed more than bashing them into whatever surface she was sat on–in this case, the couch–except, maybe sticking the brightly colored plastic keys in her mouth.
Eddie much preferred that over trying to pry his keys out of her strong armed, six month-old grip. She cried something fierce every time he was successful (so always) which led to Eddie getting her her own pair. So long as she didn’t see his, or yours, they worked like a charm.
Eddie’s thighs got a little firmer around her to keep her from wiggling as he used the brush to gently guide her short curls, wet from a spray bottle, into place. It was a feat, Penny’s curls were all the same length now that she had actual curls instead of the wavy hair all newborns seemed to come with, meaning there weren't many ways it could be styled other than slicking it down. And it wasn’t yet thick enough to hold the weight of a bow so you'd taken to putting ones that came with a headband on her instead.
After a late start to the morning, you’d gotten started on the laundry while Eddie got Penny ready for the day and after putting her in a cute little outfit you'd picked out for her (it was the most adorable little dress that didn’t hide her leg rolls and those socks with frilly lace, even though she pulled off any socks you put on her–Eddie couldn’t stop cooing to her about how cute she was for a good ten minutes, and he was still making comments). Now, having missed your presence, he’d moved the next step in her routine to the livingroom to be closer to you.
While you were sitting on the floor, folding laundry onto the coffee table, Eddie was doing her hair, a sight your gaze constantly flickered back to. He was your husband and your baby daddy, yet somehow you were still vulnerable to the sight of him with a baby. A kryptonite.
Eddie’s attention was focused on the task at hand, brows pinched as he concentrated. He’d been trying this for a while now, and he always fell short.
Today was looking to be the day he and Penny didn’t. As he brushed her hair from the bottom to the top, it all just slowly fell, not yet long enough to reach. But the top stayed, in fact, he was able to gather a good amount of it there and he pinched it in place between his thumb and forefinger. He dropped the brush onto the cushion next to him and reached up to grab the small scrunchy from his mouth before he carefully looped it around the hair he’d sectioned off, twisted it, and looped one final time.
Then Eddie sat back against the couch to marvel at the tiniest ponytail he’d ever seen, sticking straight up like those little troll dolls with the ends curling.
Penny seemed to choose that moment to become self aware and she craned her little body around in search of her dad, probably wondering why he’d stopped fiddling with her hair.
When she finally found him–still exactly in place–her entire face lit up, drooly mouth parting to show off her gums in a wide smile as her eyes squinted.
  Eddie lost it.
“YOU ARE THE MOST ADORABLE THING THIS PESSIMISTIC SCHMUCK HAS EVER SEEN!” He bellowed, scooping her up. Eddie launched an aggressive raspberry attack to where she was currently most ticklish, her neck. He alternated between them and pressing kisses to her chunky cheek while she squealed with laughter as she tried,  and failed, to raise her little shoulders in an effort to stop his tickles–though it was obvious to Eddie with the way she’d lower her shoulders immediately after he stopped that she wanted the tickling to continue.
Eddie’s booming declaration had surprised you, nearly causing you to toss up the pair of sweats you’d been folding but you managed to quickly regain your composure and your baby’s mystical laughter soon had you joining in on it too. The sight alone had you grinning from ear to ear, heart doing somersaults in your chest as Eddie cradled Penny to him, letting up to fool her into thinking he was done before he planted more raspberries on her while she giggled like a hyena.
When he caught you staring, he sat her back up on his lap facing your direction, “Look, honey! Look!”
You let out an amused scoff, hand reaching up to cover your mouth.
Penny was now beaming at you, pretty brown eyes almost hidden because she was doing her hard smile which had her cheeks pressing up into her eyes. She looked so precious in her little dress but it was the teeny tiny ponytail sprouting on her head that caught your attention.
Had it been on anyone other than a baby, it would have been a very pathetic attempt at one but considering how limited you were when styling your baby’s hair…a win is a win.
“Oh my goodness, you are such a pretty little thing!” you cooed, setting aside the laundry to push yourself up.
Eddie held her out to you and the moment she was in your arms, you were smothering her cheek with kisses, freehand on the other side of her face to keep her in place.
You pulled back to admire the little bunch of hair and then went right back to kissing and cuddling her. It was cuteness overload, she was in your arms, curled up to you and you still couldn’t get enough of her. It was like you wanted to absorb her back into your body but that would make you sad because then you wouldn’t have her in your arms.
You pulled away after one last (it wouldn’t be the last) smacking kiss to her cheek before addressing her as you handed her back to Eddie, “Ma’am, did you know it’s actually a federal offense to be this cute?”
Of course, she didn’t respond with words, eyes sparkling up at you as she babbled and grunted. You loved that she was trying to talk to you. It was obvious to both you and Eddie that she’d be talkative once she got the hang of words.
Eddie twirled the wee ponytail around his finger just as you spotted the mirror hanging on the hallway wall and like a moth to flame, you were over to it and back with it, poised in front of Eddie and Penny. Her smile somehow managed to expand as she caught sight of their reflections.
Eddie chuckled, as she gripped his shirt over his shoulder, “Is that you? Is that you, pretty girl? Is that daddy’s baby?”
Penny’s eyes would dart between his and her reflection but Eddie’s warm gaze stayed focused on hers. He smirked as he observed her get shy, giving their reflections one hard, gummy smile before she was wiggling like a live wire in his arms and hiding her face in his neck.
You both started cooing and she pried herself away from her hiding space to smile again at the both of you before she ‘hid’ herself.
After hanging the mirror back up, you plopped onto the couch and Eddie freed an arm for you to settle under, head resting on his chest as you offered Penny her keys and her pacifier.
She took them both eagerly, babbling before shoving the pacifier in her mouth. Then Penny shook the keys by the ring, yanked the pacifier out and shoved the plastic ring in her mouth, instead.
You both watched her with reverence, bliss wrapping around the moment and promising to be a memory you’d look back on.
“It’s growing a little.” Edde stated and you craned your head up to look at him from beneath your lashes. His face and demeanor were suddenly so melancholic.
You had no idea her lack of hair length had such an affect on him, “It’ll grow more, it just takes a while for hers to show since it’s curled. Aren’t you glad we didn’t listen to my mom–what did she say again? Shaving Penny’s head would make it grow faster?”
“No, baby, I mean her hair is growing.” You blinked up at him without bothering to hide your confusion so he continued. “She’s growing. Pretty soon, I won’t have a baby anymore and those toy keys are gonna be real keys to a car she’s gonna pack up and then she’ll be leaving us in the dust.”
You’d been pretty good at dodging postpartum depression, looks like Eddie hadn’t.
“Oh, Eds, don’t make yourself sad, baby. Yes, she’s growing and it’s bittersweet, I’m sure it’ll never feel like we have enough time, but watching her grow is a pivotal part of our lives. Besides, she has to learn how to walk before she can leave us.”
Eddie’s head rested on yours with a hearty sigh, “Feels like just last week we brought her home, this little bundle of everything good. Tiny fingers, always sleeping and eating, spitting up like half of your milk every time we burped her and when her poop didn’t stink because all she consumed was milk. I miss all that.”
You were both silent as you stared at your baby, taking in the present while also reminiscing the past. You missed when she was that small, too. Her baby sounds, soft breathes, high pitched grunting, the baby scrunch she’d do whenever you picked her up, how she’d almost instantly relax against your breast the moment you started feeding her, eyes slipping shut as she nursed and her baby smell. Holding her on your chest as you rocked her to sleep, nose settled into her soft hair so her scent could fill you had been one of your favorite things to do.
“Have you seen the way she rocks herself when she pushes off of her tummy? She’s getting ready to crawl.” You mused and you felt Eddie sag under you. When you looked up, his head was lulled to the side, eyes closed with his tongue poking out of the side of his mouth. One eye pried open to make sure you were watching him.
“You see me? You see what you did?” Eddie went back to playing dead, “You just killed me.”
You rolled your eyes, fond of the big goofball you’d married as you returned your stare back to your baby girl, your head nuzzling against his chest while Eddie continued.
“Why would you tell me that, doll? You just heard me complaining about my baby growing up and you’re just gonna shoot me while I’m down? Why do you want to hurt me so badly? Huh?”
“I’m just saying you can’t stop her from growing up.” You laughed, swatting his hand away from where it poked at your side, “It’s all happening, baby.”
Eddie let out another sigh, this one defeated but there was a glint in his eyes that immediately made you suspicious.
“You’re right, you’re right. Newborn days are over. Until I put another one in you.”

Joey B Blurbs: With A Little Help From My Friends
Tumblr media
————————————————————————-
Summary: You and a few other WAGs do a prank on your boys by buying them all matching shirts for a get-together without them knowing.
Warnings: Fluff, unserious/funny, pranks
Pairing: Joe Burrow x reader
Imagine Universe: Into The Mystic
————————————————————————-
January 20, 2024 - *36 weeks pregnant*
“Joe, I have your outfit laid out on the island in the closet.” - you
Joe’s head snapped away from the TV and over in my direction. I'd just walked into the kitchen from getting ready upstairs. Joe sat on the couch watching The Office reruns, all cuddled up with Tyson and Miles - looking adorable.
“What? I can pick my outfit out.” - Joe
“I know, but I ordered you a new shirt that I'd like you to wear.” - you
“Oh, okay. What is it?” - Joe
“A flannel.” - you
“Mmm, okay.” - Joe
A few moments later, I sat down on the couch with my boys, but Joe left just a minute later to get ready himself.
Robin and Jimmy were coming in a bit to watch the twins while Joe and I went over to Sam’s for a get-together with some of his teammates.
The guys had no idea, though, that the WAG’s group chat had been super active the past week leading up to tonight.
A prank was to ensue, and it was that we'd all secretly ordered the same shirt for our men. We'd all show up one by one, and the guy’s reactions to matching would be hilarious.
Plus, Joe would look hot as hell in a flannel.
Half an Office episode later, Joe came bounding down the stairs. The greyish flannel looked amazing on him, giving off major dad vibes, paired with regular-fitting blue jeans that had been sitting untouched in the closet since I'd ordered them.
I let out a teasing whistle, Joe blushing at the cat-call.
“You like?” - Joe
“Yes. You look amazing, Joey. Do a little spin for me?” - you
Joe happily obliged before searching for approval in my facial expression.
“Love it. I need to start sneaking more of this style into your side of the closet.” - you
“Is that style ‘I have two kids and another on the way’?” - Joe
“Bingo. I told you, you're a DILF.” - you
“You love to remind me of that.” - Joe
“Because it's true.” - you grinned
——
There was a ring of the doorbell, and I went to stand up from the couch, but Joe ushered me to sit back down.
“Hey Mom, hey Dad. Thanks for watching the boys.” - Joe
“Oh, of course!” - Robin
Robin and Jimmy had barely made it into the house before they were ambushed by Tyson and Miles.
They happily hugged their grandbabies, and Jimmy picked up Miles in his arms.
“Where's your wife, Joseph Lee?” - Robin
“On the couch, she went to open the door, but I waved her off.” - Joe
Robin gave her son a proud nod, grateful that he was treating his pregnant wife as he should.
The five of them eventually walked back into the living room, and Joe plopped back onto the couch next to me, putting his arm around me on the back of the couch.
“You look great, y/n!” - Robin
“Aww, thank you. I'm feeling great as well. Baby girl is treating my bladder a lot better than the twins did.” - you laughed
“That's good! I love your dress, makes your bump pop.” - Robin grinned
“Joe actually picked it out.” - you
I put a hand on Joe’s chest and smiled up at him, a glint in his eye when he returned the soft grin.
“Wow, I would’ve never expected that.” - Robin
Laughing, I understood where she was coming from. My dress was a solid black, nothing like anything in Joe’s side of the closet.
“I picked his outfit out, though.” - you smiled
“That was my next question! That style looks good on you, Joey. You look very adult.” - Robin
“Thank you? I think.” - Joe
“It was meant to be a compliment. I think so, at least…” - Jimmy
A few seconds of laughter went by before Joe patted my thigh and spoke up.
“Ready to go, babe?” - Joe
“Sure!” - you
Joe stood up before turning around to me and putting a hand out to help me up.
Once I was on my feet, Joe let go of one of my hands but still held the other.
“We’ll be back later!” - Joe
He led me over to the garage door of the house and grabbed his keys to the Porsche off of the hook.
Sweetly, Joe walked me over to the passenger side of the car and opened my door for me, along with helping me sit down before shutting the door back.
“Whatcha wanna listen to?” - Joe
Joe always joked about my passenger princess ways, but here he was, offering me to pick the music before I even asked.
In the end, I pulled up my Spotify playlist “’60s-’70s Love Songs” and shuffled it.
Looking over at Joe as he backed out of the driveway, I giggled as he playfully rolled his eyes with a smile on his face at my music selection.
For dramatic effect, I grabbed onto Joe’s shoulder and sang Be My Baby by The Ronettes into my hand like I was holding a microphone.
“You're crazy.” - Joe laughed
“But you love me.” - you
“That I do, my baby.” - Joe
——
I had my arm looped with Joe’s as we stood on Sam’s front porch. Joe had just rung the doorbell and now we're waiting for an answer.
Squeezing his bicep lightly, Joe’s eyes darted to me.
“You okay, Mama?” - Joe
“Mhm. Just love you in this shirt.” - you grinned
Just a few seconds later, the front door swung open, revealing Sam.
“Hey, Burrow’s! Woah- what the hell? Joe, are we matching?” - Sam
I giggled to myself as Joe and Sam looked down at their flannels and then at each other.
“That's weird man, but I def wore it better.” - Joe
Sam rolled his eyes before stepping to the side to let Joe and me inside the house.
I immediately greeted Jess, who complimented my pregnancy glow, and while we were deep into conversation, the doorbell rang again.
When Sam opened the door, Jess and I exchanged knowing looks at each other.
On the front porch, Cody Ford and Evan McPherson were laughing about the fact they had matching shirts on while Tianna and Gracie stood to the side laughing.
“What the hell!” - Sam
“You guys have it too?!” - Evan
Joe was full-on cackling, and I couldn't help but mirror my husband.
The girls walked over and sat next to me and Jess, our boys all pointing at each other’s shirts while laughing.
Thirty minutes later, over ten more guys had shown up, all in the same flannel, and Joe and his guys found it hilarious each time.
The girls and I all sat in a corner of the living room, recording and laughing at the reactions coming out of the guys.
They really were adult toddlers, but that's what makes being married to one fun.
After dinner, Joe found me by myself in the kitchen and wrapped his arms around me from behind. At first, I couldn't tell who it was because all the guys here had the same long-sleeved shirt on, and all I could see were the person's arms.
The thought didn't last too long when I saw the wedding ring on the person’s finger that was too unique to be anyone other than Joe.
“Hi, Mama.” - Joe
“Hi, Joey.” - you
“Can I ask you a question?” - Joe
“Of course.” - you
With Joe’s hands on my bump, I covered them with my own and let my head fall back onto his chest/shoulder.
“Who wore the shirt best?” - Joe
“I'm kinda biased, but you, for sure.” - you
“Yeah?” - Joe
“Mhm, I'm gonna start sneaking more flannels into your closet.” - you
“I'll wear ‘em if they get a good reaction out of you.” - Joe
“Oh, you know they will.” - you giggled
I turned around in Joe’s arms and looked into his gorgeous blue eyes, my hands on his chest.
Slowly, Joe leaned in and pressed his lips onto mine.
A minute later, we were still kissing. The craving for each other was never satisfied, but we were interrupted by a loud, fake, gagging sound.
“For the love of god, she's already pregnant! You guys are disgusting!” - Ja’Marr
I leaned my head onto Joe’s chest with a giggle as he glared at one of his best friends.
“Ja’Marr, get the fuck away!” - Joe
Ja’Marr threw his arms up in surrender before walking out of the kitchen. Joe turned back to me with a sly grin on his face.
“Sorry, Mrs. Burrow. Where were we?” - Joe
I’d never get tired of him calling me that.
“Mmm, I think we might've been kissing.” - you
“Let's test that theory.” - Joe
Just as Joe was leaning in, our lips brushed together, but something made him pull back.
“Y'all nasty!” - Ja’Marry whisper yelled
“Ja’Marr!!” - Joe yelled
Sure, they got annoying sometimes, but deep down, Joe knew he wouldn't get by without a little help from his friends. Even if said help was unwanted.

a/n: I saw Taylor last week!! so to celebrate i wrote this little dad!joe blurb, i hope you enjoy it!
It was your daughter Emma's 13th birthday, and you and Joe wanted to make it extra special. You knew how much she loved Taylor Swift, so Joe came up with the perfect plan: he got Emmatickets to Taylor Swift's concert that was happening the same night as her birthday.
You could hardly contain your excitement as you watched Emma open the envelope with the tickets inside. Her face lit up with joy as she realized what they were for. "I can't believe it!" she exclaimed, hugging both you and Joe tightly. "This is the best birthday ever!"
You spent the day preparing for the concert, decorating the house with Taylor Swift-themed decorations and making a playlist of all her hit songs to play at the pre-party. Emma sang along to every song, dancing and jumping around with excitement.
As it got closer to the time for the concert, you all piled into the car and drove to the venue. Emma couldn't stop thanking her dad for the amazing gift, and you could see the happiness radiating from her.
When the concert finally began, Emma was over the moon. She sang along to every song, cheered at every dance move, and you cried when Taylor performed Sweet Nothing, you always played that song as a lullaby when she was a baby, reminding you of how you ended up with the love of your life and your baby girl who was not a baby anymore. You and Joe watched her with pride, knowing that you had given her an unforgettable birthday experience.
As the concert came to an end and you all made your way back to the car, Emma turned to her dad and said, "You're the best dad ever. Thank you so much for this amazing birthday gift!" Joe smiled at her and hugged her tight. "Anything for my little girl," he said, his heart overflowing with love.
As you drove back home, you all reminisced about the incredible night and how much fun you had together. It was a birthday that Emma would never forget, and you knew that it would always hold a special place in your hearts.

"okay, Penny do you think you could grab them flowers for me?" Joe asked the smiley five year old who nodded, walking to the coffee table where the huge bouquet of flowers stood. they were almost as big as her and he smiled as she carefully picked up the bouquet and walked towards him.
"thank you honey" he lent down to kiss her head then turned to Junie, your three year old, who was looking at the flowers in her big sisters arms. "daddy they're pretty" she said in the sweetest voice he'd ever heard. his heart melted at how cute she was. he knelt down to her level which took her attention off of the flowers.
"yeah they are, just like you" he said tickling her neck making her giggle and blush a bright red colour. "do you think you can hold these for me? you can give them to mama when we wake her up" he held the chocolates out to her which she took from his hand and held it close to her chest. "thank you baby." he kissed her cheek and stood up again.
he walked to the kitchen and picked up the plate which had your favourite breakfast on it. he also picked up the four cards which were next to the plate and the little gift bag he had gotten for you from the girls. you had given birth to another beautiful baby girl, Francie, a few months ago and this time around was a lot harder than the other two. losing the baby weight was difficult, taking care of a baby and a three year old whilst Joe worked was hard. you just never got any time to yourself.
Joe knew how you were feeling and the least he could do was try make at least one day special for you. "you girls ready to go surprise mama?" Joe asked making sure he had everything perfect for you. both girls nodded and started making their up the stairs with Joe right behind them, Penny trying her best not to bend the flowers. Joe opened your bedroom door and let the girls inside.
you were sat up against the headboard cuddling Francie who had just finished feeding but your attention shifted off of her when you heard the bedroom door open. the girls walked around to your side of the bed and smiled brightly at you. "happy mummy's day" Penny said as she tried her best to show you the flowers. Joe put the plate down on his bedside table and placed the cards and gift onto the bed before making his was around to your bedside.
he lifted Junie onto the bed before he did the same to Penny, making sure he didn't harm the flowers. he took the flowers out of Penny's grasp and placed them on the floor next to the bassinet which was right by to your side of the bed. "could you take Francie for a second?" you asked Joe who nodded and took her off of your chest. you opened your arms so both girls could give you a cuddle "thank you angels" you kissed both their heads.
both girls took their places on either side of you and you wrapped your arms around their shoulders, pulling them into you more. Joe sat on the bed opposite the three of you with a huge smile on his face. "you girls gonna give your mama her cards?" Joe said gentry stroking Francie's back.
both girls got up from beside you quickly grabbing ahold of their cards before going back to sitting either side of you. “mine first” Penny said, the white envelope of her card close to your face. you took the card and opened it reading over the writing on the front before looking inside the card. her hand writing was a little messy but you could make out most of it “honey that’s so sweet, thank you” you said as you finished reading her card, giving her a small kiss on her head. “read mine please mama”
you looked over at Junie who had her card in her small hands. you placed Penny’s card down on your lap and opened your next card, you could tell she had had help from Joe with it but the thought of her concentrating, trying her hardest to write out this card melted your heart. “thank you sweetheart. both your words were so beautiful” you pulled both girls into you more and gave them a few kisses each.
“mama can we please watch some tv now?” Penny voice filled the small moment of silence making you laugh, Joe sighed but smiled “sweetie maybe we should spend a bit more time with mama-” “it’s okay honey, you both can go watch some tv. we’ll be down in a minute” you kissed their heads again and watched as the two of them scurried off out of your bedroom and down the stairs.
you moved across the bed into Joe’s space so he could sit next to you. he gently placed Francie in her bassinet before sitting next to you. “happy mother’s day honey” he said kissing you passionately before wrapping is arm around your shoulder, pulling you into him. “you forgot to open Francie’s card and gift” he said making you look down to where the card and gift sat next to you on the bed.
you lent down to grab it and then sat back in the position you were in before, getting comfortable in his arms before opening the card. the card was a picture of you and Joe in the living room with Penny on Joe’s lap and Junie by your side side cuddled into you with newborn Francie in your arms, everyone smiling widely. it was one of your favourite pictures because it was the first photo of your complete family.
you opened the card and saw Joe’s handwriting telling you how grateful he was that you were the mother of his children and that you were so strong for looking after three kids whilst he was working. he had also written that he loved you and that he was proud. “thank you” you said looking up from the card to give him a quick kiss before turning your attention to the gift bag which you opened quickly.
the bag had a small box a gold necklace with the first letter of each daughters name inside it. it was beautiful. “this is so beautiful, thank you baby” you said kissing him again. “i am really grateful that you are the mum to my kids. i know these past few weeks have been tough but i really want you to know i appreciate you. you do so much for everyone and you never put yourself first which you need to start doing more.”
he kissed your head and pulled you closer to him. “you’re an amazing mum, you do so much for those three girls and we all love you so much, and i’m really grateful that i can call you the mother of my kids and my wife. thank you for everything y/n. seriously. i wish i could be around more and i’m sorry i’m not but i promise i will be soon. you’ve been the mum and dad when i’m not here and you’re so strong for that honey”
you felt your eyes tear up as he spoke. it was difficult when he was off filming, he’d be gone from 5 in the morning till 11 at night by that point everyone is in bed so he rarely sees you guys, but you knew it was temporary and he’d be back home all the time soon. “come on, your relaxing day starts now. i’ll run you a bath and look after the kids. don’t rush it, i’m serious” he kissed your forehead before he got out of the bed and walked to the en-suite bathroom.
“oh shit, your breakfast is gonna be cold” he said seeing the food on the bedside table. “it’s okay, i’ll eat it whilst i’m in the bath” you smiled, you didn’t care if it was a little bit cold, it was still food and he’d went through the trouble of making it. he sighed and scratched his head “honey seriously it’s fine. it’s gonna be good no matter what” you said as you got out of the bed.
you picked up the breakfast and walked toward him, standing on your tip toes to give him a quick kiss before making your way to the bathroom. “remember to take your time in there, i really want you to relax” he called out after you, taking a deep breath in before walking over to Francie’s bassinet. she looked up at him with wide eyes and a small smile.
“oh my smiley girl, good morning” he picked her up and gave her a few kisses on her cheek which made her giggle a little. even though he had already seen her that morning this was how he spoke to her when he was off of work. Francie was still learning how to laugh properly but her small giggles never failed to make his heart swell with joy every time he heard it. “we have so much to do for mama don’t we huh? gotta make it special for her” he kissed her cheek one more time.
“god you look exactly like her. that’s a good thing because she is so pretty. so so so perfect. all my girls are perfect” he ran his thumb over her cheek as she put her fist in her mouth, chewing on it slightly. “come on pretty girl, let’s find your sisters leave your mama” he started making his way down the stairs where his two girls were. every time he saw them he saw you. they were practically your doubles except they had his ears, eyes and hair. he sat down next to Penny who didn’t batter an eyelid, her focus was on the cartoon on the tv.
Joe had one arm around Francie’s back and the other around the back of the sofa. Junie noticed Joe sit down and quickly made her way to sit down next to him on the opposite side of Penny. “hey sweetheart, you okay?” he asked as Junie got comfortable, wrapping her arms around his forearm. she nodded and went back to watching the cartoon. he was now surrounded by the three girls but he didn’t care, he loved his girls and he wouldn’t change this for the world.
