Permission Granted 1- New Girl
Author’s Note: This is the first chapter of Permission Granted, the first part of To Have it All. This is Open...from Jensen's side!
Summary: Jensen meets Y/n, the new guest star on Supernatural. There's an instant connection, but a dozen reasons not to pursue it.
Pairing: none yet, eventual Jensen x Reader

"They're replacing Ruthie quick, aren’t they?" I commented to Jared as I read over Dabb's email in the Hair and Makeup trailer. "Wonder why they didn't just bring Rowena back."
"Fresh face, probably. I dunno. You know Dabb's always looking for new female characters to kill off." Jared shrugged and took a drink of his froufrou iced latte.
"Oh, if we're lucky, maybe she'll be a lesbian so they can leave her broken in a bathtub," I said, rolling my eyes as they started blow drying Jared's hair.
"Or a fuckin’ love interest so they can kill her off in two episodes," he shouted over the sound of the dryer.
"Shoshanna got more than two."
"Barely, Ackles! She got two and then forty-five seconds of a death scene!”
I nodded and licked my lips. Yeah, they had to kill her off. Every fuckin’ time. “Well, maybe this one won’t go the same direction.”
I settled back and read over the rest of the email. Damn it. They’ve got Dean on the ‘Kill Jack despite the fact that the kid hasn’t done anything wrong’ track. Of course they do. Have they ever watched the show? Whatever.
It was a couple days later that I was sitting in the makeup chair and a short woman walked up the steps and stopped in her tracks. She's not the first guest to freeze when they see me the first time but she was definitely the cutest doing it. I didn’t call attention to her 'deer in the headlights' thing as she stood in the doorway, clearly debating leaving until she looked at her phone screen and determined that she had to stay.
She had to get herself comfortable with me somehow. As fun as it can be to tease the new girl, professionalism is the best way forward for most of these situations. I determined to tease her when she got a little more comfortable.
She sat down in the stylist’s chair and looked down at her phone, obviously trying to distract herself with something more than Jennifer doing her hair. It was pretty adorable. She was pretty adorable. But...I had to start the task of getting her okay.
“You must be our new witch,” I said. She made a little squeaky noise and I could see her eyes glaze over a little in the mirror. “I’m Jensen.” Normally, I would have offered my hand but we weren’t in the position for that.
“I know that,” she whispered, making me chuckle as she cleared her throat and turned a little to look at me as much as she could. “I’m Y/n. Big fan.”
“Yeah?”
“Yep. Uh, I used to watch Days with my mom, but I think I became a real fan with Smart Alec on Dark Angel,” she said and I smiled. Eric Brady and Alec McDowell. Two amazing characters. I really liked Alec. Jessica could’ve been less of a prima donna but I guess she could’ve been worse, too.
“That feels like a million years ago. That show was badass, though,” I mused. “Fox shoulda kept it longer.”
“Agreed,” she said, smiling all shy. She looked so fucking nervous, so I had to move the conversation along.
“So...fan of mine...have you seen much of this show or are we gonna have to give you context for scenes?” I teased. She seemed to relax a little, slumping in her chair.
“Might’ve been a fan of you longer, but I love the show. Seen almost every episode.”
Better than me. I haven’t seen half of ‘em. “Almost every episode? What kinda fan are you?”
“Do not question my nerd cred, sir,” she sassed me. “I’m a fan, big time. I even went to a Creation Con late last year, just to see you guys up close.”
I laughed a little at that. The cons are great, but I really don’t think we’re worth all that money just to see us in person. “Yeah? Gold?” I had to figure out how devoted a fan she actually was. It would determine my interaction moving forward.
“Silver. I was working retail at the time,” she responded, shaking her head a little. “Couldn’t reconcile dropping a thousand dollars on a vacation.”
I was happy to hear that she kept her crazy to reasonable levels. “Oh, so we met in the autograph line.”
“Yep,” she said, popping that ‘p’ like vocal directors hate so much and looking away from me in the mirror.
There was obviously a story there, so I pressed her. “What’d I sign for you?”
“A hat. A white hat...with a devil’s trap in the middle and SW and DW on opposite sides.”
Crazy as it is, I remembered the hat, but the conventions all blur together so I couldn’t tell where I met her. “Which con was this?” I asked.
“Atlanta,” she answered quickly.
A one-off con. That helped, because I only had one night of memories to sift through. White hat, shaking young woman who could barely speak to me and definitely couldn’t look me in the eyes. I remember my handler getting up after she walked away, came back a minute later to say that Y/n had almost passed out as soon as she got outside the curtain. “Oh, yeah, I remember. I tried to sign Jared’s side but you wouldn’t let me.”
Y/n turned to look at me, obviously shocked with those pretty eyes all wide. “You were doing it on purpose? I thought you were just tired and not paying attention.”
“Nah, I was exhausted in Atlanta, but you looked mortified. I was trying to make you laugh.” Obviously failed on that. I chuckled again as Jennifer started curling her hair. “You seem a lot more put together now.”
She scoffed and rolled her eyes just a bit. “I’m mortified now too, but I saw you and Jared were gonna be on Lot today so I took an Ativan before I got in the car this morning.” Always nice when people are honest and open about their anxiety problems.
“Well, that’s good. Take a double dose tomorrow,” I teased as Trisha pulled the makeup drop cloth and I stood, looking down at her as panic crossed her face.
“What? Why?” she squeaked.
I could tell she hadn’t been given the pages for our scene the next day. I couldn’t resist a little torture. I just laughed as I left the trailer. “You’ll see when you get tomorrow’s pages.” I met Jared on the Bunker set and he patted my shoulder as we walked up into the library. “First meeting with the new girl went well. She seems a little out of her element but nice overall.”
“Oh, uh, Y/n?”
“Yeah, she is a fan, actually. We met her at the Atlanta convention. She had that Devil’s Trap hat.” Jared shook his head. He didn’t remember her. “She’s the one that tripped or whatever right after I signed her hat.”
“Oh, the one that fuckin’ fainted?”
“Yeah, I think so. She’s still uncomfortable so we’ll have to warm her up.”
“‘Warm her up’, huh?” Jared raised his eyebrows suggestively and I laughed.
“Not like that, you dummy.”
Of course, Y/n was cute, but messing around with the guest stars was a bit of a no-no, and messing with fans was a big no-no. Especially considering that there’s almost nothing to keep a fan from talking...and the open marriage thing needed to stay quiet.
But I was curious about her. Can’t lie about that. So, I asked around. I went to a few other crew members before I went to Andrew Dabb.
“You remember that casting call we did toward the end of eleven? We got a few of the British Men of Letters off of it?” He leaned back in his chair and looked up at me. “We opened it up for a few folks without representation for a couple weeks. CW didn’t advertise it but we did a post on a few acting sites and there was a bit of circulation once the fandom got a hold of it. She sent a video in. She wasn’t right for the Brits, not posh enough, but her accents were good and she was a pretty great actress, so...”
“So, she isn’t an actor?”
“She’s been doing pretty well for the fact that she hasn’t acted in anything before.”
I blinked at him a few times. “Wow. So, she’s completely green?”
“Technically, yeah. But the second unit directors say she’s doing good.”
“Cool. Thanks.” I started to leave but stopped at the door. “So, what’s the track on her character? She stickin’ around?”
“She’s on for five episodes.”
“Is she going to bite it after those episodes?” I pushed.
“We’re not exactly-”
“Is she a love interest? Is she gonna disappear without a trace? Will she at least get an actual storyline?”
Andrew rolled his eyes at me and shifted in his chair. “I don’t know if she’s going to be a love interest. The writers’ room is in disagreement about that. She’d be a good match for Dean, but we’re not sure how the viewers would react. They never really like it when Dean and Sam have women in their lives.”
“So, you don’t even know. Okay.” I was not impressed with that answer so I left him in his office.
I went looking for her at lunchtime, a little after 1. She was sitting at a table in the Craft Services tent, in the corner by herself, looking down at a paper coffee cup. She was really good at making herself small and seemingly insignificant...but it had the opposite effect on me. It made me want to talk to her more. I grabbed a coffee for myself and a caramel macchiato for Jared from the coffee cart.
“So, I asked Dabb where we got you from and he said it was an open cast. You sent a video in but you’ve never done anything else. You don’t even have an agent.” I walked up and sat in front of her on the other side of the table. She looked up and her eyes went all wide. “So you just decided to become an actor in your twenties?” I guessed her age.
She bit her bottom lip for a minute before leaning forward. “No. I decided to become an actor in high school,” she disputed. She looked a bit disappointed as she continued. “I then graduated from high school and decided that it was a stupid dream and I’d never make any headway so I gave up on it and got a real job.”
She did say that she was working retail. “Retail. So where are you from, Y/n?” I took a drink of my coffee as she leaned back.
“Northwest Florida. Little town about fifteen miles from the state line.”
I smiled, remembering a Spring Break with Christian back in the 90s. “North Florida. I spent a couple Spring Breaks at PCB when I was...younger and unmarried.”
She gave a little laugh. “Panama City is about an hour and a half away from home.”
I took another drink, trying to think of something to keep the conversation going. “So you acted in high school, huh?” I asked as I saw Jared walk into the tent behind her.
“Yeah. School plays, Thespians, Forensics competitions, that kinda thing.” I heard about that competition shit from Jared. ‘Competition’ is the key word on that. Apparently, it’s harder than screen acting.
“You did Forensics?” Jared asked, his whole face lighting up. “I won Nationals with my friend Chris in high school.” He came over and folded himself backward into a chair. I handed him his coffee and he nodded at me.
“I did monos. Got second in State, but didn’t make Nationals.” She sounded a little disappointed, but shit, second in State is pretty damn good.
“I did monos, duos, and extemp, but I only placed in Duo. Jared,” he said, reaching out to shake her hand.
She looked a bit more comfortable with Jared and that made me feel a little bit jealous. I’m nice. I didn’t understand why she was awkward with me. “Y/n. It’s amazing to meet you.”
“Oh, he gets an ‘amazing to meet you’? I didn’t even get a handshake.” I covered the jealousy with a teasing comment.
Jared teased back before she could. “Well maybe I’m just more approachable, dude.”
“You? Giant muscley gym-bro?” I hit back.
“Honestly, I’m five-three so you’re both giants to me,” she joked with a laugh.
“So, Y/n, how long did they sign you for?” Jared asked.
“Five episodes to start. They said they’ll give me more or not depending on fan response. They’ll probably hate me, though, so I’ll be gone by midseason Hellatus.” ‘Hellatus’ made me smile.
“Why would they hate you?” Jared asked. “It’s not like your character is a love interest.” He looked between Y/n and me for a minute. “Wait, Tara’s not a love interest, is she?”
“Andrew said the writers are at an impasse on that one. No, the fans will hate her for one simple reason: jealousy.” I shrugged. “She’s a fan. Some of ‘em probably know her from, like cons and shit. They’re gonna be jealous that she’s here and they aren’t.”
She nodded. “Yeah. I’ve kinda tried to keep a lid on this from the fan groups. Haven’t told anybody except the family and my best friends about it. Unfortunately, had to stop posting in my Facebook groups when I got the job.” I cringed a bit at the mention of the Facebook groups. Fan groups are a subject best ignored as much as possible.
Jared laughed. “Man, you seem like a reasonable woman so don’t be offended when I say...some of our fans are crazy. You’re better off staying away from the fan sites.”
She smiled. “No, I know how crazy some of us can be. I’ve had some fights online with the tin-hat folks.”
I know I grimaced when she mentioned those folks. Jared did, too. “What is wrong with those people?” Jared shook his head.
She started laughing and it was such a cute, uninhibited sound. “They just...really want you to be gay for each other.”
“Yeah.” She was definitely comfortable and I wanted to take full advantage of it. “So, uh, you get tomorrow’s pages yet?” I asked, smirking. She looked down for a moment before hiding by drinking her coffee. “Yeah, she did. You gonna be okay? You’re not gonna freak out, are you?”
“I will…” She swallowed so loud I could hear it across the table. “...try my best...to not freak out.”
“You look like you’re already freaking out,” Jared said, smiling.
She took a deep breath and let it out as a scoff. “Totally. I am totally freaking out about tomorrow’s scene.”
Jared and I both laughed before I leaned forward a bit. “How about we run lines later?” That wasn’t a new thing for me. I often offer to run lines, especially with the guest stars. But the next words that came out of my mouth were new. “We could grab some dinner, meet up at my trailer, and get the nerves out of the way.”
I was just about to apologize for overstepping any bounds by inviting her to my trailer when she whispered, “That sounds...amazing.” It was this breathy, sexy voice coming out of this sweet woman and I just didn’t feel like I’d overstepped after that, even when she stuttered out, “I mean, it sounds amazing to get the nerves out of the-”
“6 o’clock. Don’t be late,” I said as Jared and I stood to get back to the Bunker.
“What am I gonna do? Go back to my motel to watch one of the ten channels that actually come through clearly?”
“They’ve got you in that Budget Inn, don’t they?” Jared guessed. We have heard a lot of horror stories about that motel.
“Yeah. It’s not so bad. Gotta sleep in the tub to avoid the bed bugs, but it’s cool. Livin’ the dream,” she joked and I laughed as we walked away.
"So...your trailer, Ackles?" Jared asked as we walked away, his eyebrow cocked.
"I'm just tryin' to be friendly, man."
"I know what your 'friendly' looks like and that was not just friendly."
"I just met her!" I argued. "And she's a guest...and a fan! I'm just trying to accommodate her nervousness so we don’t have to do a million takes tomorrow."
"Okay, well...I won't tell Dee, but you should-" I reached out and pushed his shoulder roughly and he laughed as he teetered a bit. "She seems nice, though. Don't scare her away."
I wasn’t planning to scare Y/n away. I wasn’t planning anything except hospitality. I really wasn’t. But she was cute and interesting and she was obviously incredibly attracted to me, so I couldn’t do anything anyway because that might get awkward quick.
No, I was just gonna make a new friend out of the new girl. I’ve done it a bunch of times before. I mean...look at Misha.
She showed up about half an hour early and watched us flub a few takes of this argument between Sam and Dean about Jack and it was fun to watch her expression get more awed with every take. Phil cut us for dinner after a while I jumped down from the soundstage, smiling at the look on her face. “Well, hello, Newbie,” I greeted. “I’m thinkin’ pizza. You good with pizza?”
She nodded. “Yeah. Pizza’s fine.”
I walked away from her, trying to keep everything casual as we went off to my trailer. She ran after me and I slowed down a bit. I was used to Jared and Misha following me around the lot, so I had to consciously slow myself to make it easier for Y/n’s short legs.
“Any dietary restrictions? Lactose, gluten, vegan?” I asked, just to make sure that I wasn’t going to poison her by ordering a pie with pepperoni or something.
“It’s not a pizza without cheese and meats and…” Y/n shook her head and laughed. “I’m a Southern girl. We don’t deal with crazy…gluten-free, meat-free, paleo-vegan...blah, blah, blah,” she finished, gesturing with her hands in the air. It was adorable.
“I thought you were from Florida,” I argued teasingly. “Not really ‘Southern’.”
“And I thought you’d been to North Florida. You should know that Northwest Florida is pretty much UCLA: Upper Corner, Lower Alabama,” she responded and I laughed. Never heard that one before. “That’s not my joke.”
“It was pretty funny anyway. So, you like pepperoni?”
“Look at me. Do I look like I’ve ever turned down free food? Well, except lasagna, but got a...thing with lasagna.”
That threw me so hard I had to stop and turn to her. “What does that mean, you’ve got a thing with lasagna?” I asked.
“There was a bad thing with some really horrible microwave lasagna when I was about seven. Couldn’t eat it for years, now I can only eat it if I make it.”
There was a story there, but I wasn’t ready to push for it. “Wow. Okay. Do not order lasagna. Check.” I opened up the trailer and let her in, grabbing my phone off of the counter as soon as I got inside. I pulled up the speed dial for the closest good pizza place and went into the bathroom to change. It was a mix of teasing her and preparing her that I drove me to change my clothes. Well, change my pants into shorts and take the wardrobe shirts off. I wrapped a towel around my waist and checked in the mirror to make sure the shorts weren’t visible before setting the phone on the sink counter and grabbing the door handle. “Okay, pizza will be here in ‘bout forty, which gives us plenty of time to run lines,” I said, to get her attention before I’d opened the door, so she could get the full effect of my outfit.
Which got me exactly the dumbfounded look from her that I was expecting. She stared. And when I say ‘stared’, I mean it. Her jaw dropped, her eyes went focused and unfocused and roamed over me like crazy. Usually, I start feeling shy when women stare at me like that, but not with her. With Y/n, it felt less like objectification and more like appreciation.
“See, this is why we need to practice,” I said to snap her out of it. I smirked as she cleared her throat and looked off toward the fireplace before closing her eyes.
“Sorry.”
“No, you have to look at me, kid. It’s part of the scene.”
She sighed and looked over at me. “I’m not a kid. I have a kid. I’m a woman.”
“Then act like one,” I challenged.
She licked her lips, cleared her throat again and sat forward. “Please, do keep both hands on the towel, Winchester. One never knows where you hunters have hidden weapons.”
I went into Dean mode like the second nature that it is. “Tara. What do you want?”
“World peace, a condo in Malibu, and a little respect would be nice,” she said, confidence that was definitely not her natural mode leaking out of her. “I mean, I did save your asses in Chicago.”
“Yeah, that’s not how I remember it.”
She laughed out loud and stood. “Of course not. You can’t possibly admit that a witch helped you. I mean, a witch other than Rowena Macleod.”
“Yeah, your mentor, right? Explain again why I’m supposed to trust that you’re a white witch?”
“She wasn’t my mentor. She wasn’t allowed to be. Olivette wouldn’t let me. Shit! ‘Olivette wouldn’t let her’.” Her face fell as she pulled out her pages, obviously upset that she’d blown a single word in her line. “‘Olivette wouldn’t let her. We had to train in secret, but that doesn’t mean I carry her ideals’,” she read frantically.
I smiled as soothingly as possible. “Calm down. It’s a lot better to fuck up here with me than out there on camera. Don’t wanna end up on the gag reel, do you?” She shook her head. “All right. From the top.”
We made it through the scene completely on the second try and she said her lines like she was completely immersed in Tara’s character. It shocked me a bit, actually. No wonder Casting picked her out of a pile of video submissions. She hit those facial expressions and the overwhelming sense of ‘trying to do right without the right tools’ better than I could have imagined. There was so much pain in her eyes when she said, “Don’t trust me. Don’t like me. I don’t care” and it wasn’t even in the script to be anything but pissy.
She asked how well she’d done and I smiled as I pulled the towel off and tossed it across the room to land on the counter. She looked relieved to see my golf shorts. “You did great. You think you’ll be able to stay focused in front of the cameras?”
“Well, if I can manage to not drool all over myself staring at you when it’s just the two of us, I think I can keep my shit together in front of Phil and everyone else.”
I smiled as she carried some of her Tara energy over into her real life. “Ah, so you’re one of those fans,” I teased.
She scoffed loudly. “Oh, come on. You know how sexy you are.” She scrunched her face up in a grimace and looked away. “That was not what I intended to say.”
“Can’t take it back now,” I said, chuckling.
“Oh, how I wish I could,” she said, shaking her head. “Okay, so have they told you anything about the Chicago episode ‘cause I have no clue what’s going on with that. They haven’t given me anything on that.”
They do that sometimes, where they’ll forget to tell folks what’s going on in the episodes before. It’s part of shooting out of order, but it usually doesn’t affect the guests too much...and they almost always told me and Jared in advance. “Right, I’ve got a first draft script round here somewhere.” I went looking around the counter near the kitchenette to find the script and handed it to her. I’d already read it but I looked over her shoulder as she went through it herself.
“Oh, she...is very flirty, isn’t she?” she said when she got to the part where Tara said ‘If we were doing what I wanted, we’d be in bed not a warehouse’. She seemed a bit uncomfortable about it so I smiled and knocked my knee into hers.
“You can handle that, right?”
“Of course I can,” she defended.
“Good,” I said, getting up to retrieve the pizza from the PA knocking at my door. As we ate slices of floppy pepperoni pizza, she pointed out a line where Dean tells Sam ‘Tara was kinda hot in a Khloe Kardashian circa 2007 kinda way’. “Which means…?”
“That’s when she was the ‘fat’ Kardashian,” Y/n explained, looking down at herself a bit self-consciously. “She was still hot, I guess…’cause she knows how to make herself look good with the clothes and makeup and all the stuff money makes easy, but she was not considered the prettiest one.”
It seemed like a subject that made her sad, and I guess I could see that Y/n was what Hollywood considered ‘fat’, but I thought she was hot...and I didn’t like her feeling bad about herself. “Oh, so a chick likes to eat, so she’s not hot? Never understand that.”
“Me either,” she said, smiling as she took a big bite of her pizza.
I made her feel a bit better and that was exactly what I needed at that moment.

Don Bon
I’m currently starting to write this at like 4 something in the morning on a school night (or day technically), so sorry not sorry for the lack of comprehension being used. This was itching in the back of my mind and I couldn’t sleep so, yeah. Also,
My original character Chaos has been aged down from 24 to 15, since that’s Donnie’s canon age. And-
I decided to make my Bayverse Donnie trans fem (like many in the community all ready), so that’s why I’m going to be using she/they pronouns for her. And-
Chaos either goes by just Chaos’s name, or they/them pronouns despite Chaos being a girl and stuff…so that’s a heads up just in case.
So now without further a do, let’s begin

Ever since Chaos and Donnie met, Chaos was a little bi-
Smart Alec
Chaos was always picking on people no matter what, and I mean everyone. But especially Donnie.
Chaos when they first met Donnie, immediately started to pick on her, mainly because Chaos saw them as a dorky goody two shoes nerd, who was also a puss-
But also not to mention, Chaos developed a get crush on her as well, because she had such a good heart and was so smart. And Chaos just found them genuinely pretty and wanted to be her friend. But the method of doing so wasn’t the best, aka name calling. In Chaoses underdeveloped mind they believed that if they picked on someone, that means that they are comfortable around each other, because they are so close. So Chaos did it a lot.
But the Nick names were pretty diverse, like booger skin, dork-a-tron, four eyes, the classics you know. And even some curse words that Chaos didn’t use in the right context of at the time because Chaos was like eight, cut them some slack.
But Chaos’s all time favorite nickname was Dork-atello
It combined not only Donnies lovely beautiful name (in Chaos’s opinion), but also combined a little jokey nickname that matched her so well in the best was possible.
But what about Donnie (you may be asking, you probably don’t care though)? Well, I feel like she wouldn’t necessarily care all to much. I mean, she grew up with three smelly brothers, she’s pretty used to the nicknames by now.
BUT…she still find Chaos to be…odd. Suspicious even
Everything about Chaos was weird to her. Chaos’s name, Chaos’s white frilly dress they always wore, their hockey mask, thier always braided pig tails. Like, why would they wear that stuff all the time in a dirty old sewer. Chaos said it was because of their grandma, but Donnie was still hesitant.
Not to say Donnie didn’t like Chaos though. Chaos’s remarks and confidence, the way Chaos used potty words, heck even the fact how Chaos didn’t like pizza and only had it like twice before, and was so open about their opinion on it, at times made her kind of respect them. She even had some back and forth with Chaos, calling each other names and what not.
Not to mention, Chaos supported her transition all the way, always helped with her inventions, even help her train a bit, just an over all surprising helpful person, despite Chaoses smart mouth.
But as time went on, not only did Donnie begin to catch feelings, but Chaos’s crush grew bigger as well.
Chaos also realized that the name calling of meaner things to Donnie wasn’t going anywhere, so Chaos switched to another nickname, something more sweeter and something Chaos also thought fit her. That being names such as princess or beauty or gorgeous.
But Chaoses favorite was Don-Bon.
Not only because of Donnie’s shy rabbit like personality, but also the fact Chaos is comparing her to one of the cutest animals in the world.
Now Donnie was very put back by the sudden change of nicknames.
I mean, Chaos literally went from calling her lame-o yesterday to honey pie the next.

Until one day, Chaos came over per usual and called her Don-Bon, when asking she could change out of her frilly dress so it won’t get stained like last time. Donnie finally asked,

Donnie was dead silent
Was this true, the person who always spent time with her, helped her with her inventions, one of the first people she came out to, the person who always picking on her, and most of all a HUMAN (Chaos actually isn’t, Donnie just thinks so), liked her and thought all those things?

While Donnie was nodding, Chaos instantly gave her a huge hug that Donnie shyly returned.

I’ll put some explanations below the keep reading so no one gets a wall of text on their dash.
Maurice:
OH MY BOY. MY DARLING BOY. I am him and he is me. Every time I read the book or watch the movie, I see so much of myself in him (excluding the misogyny). Hence why I cannot treat him with any gentleness nor care. I have to dissect him and see what’s going on in there, because maybe if I can understand him, I can understand myself a bit better too. We should also both go to therapy. That should definitely happen.
(Headcanon: he is autisitc. That’s it that’s the headcanon. I will not be taking any criticism but if you want an explanation just lemme know.
EDIT: I am kicking myself in the face for forgetting this. I also headcanon Maurice as a househusband if/when they can afford it. He just gives off that vibe and I love that for him.)
Alec:
HOLY FUCK DID FORSTER PUT COCAINE IN THIS MAN WHEN HE MADE THIS CHARACTER???? He is my favorite character and my current king blorbo. I want nothing more than a small version of this little lad to carry around in my pocket. I adore him. He’s perfect. Desperately looking for a woman like him in the real world to wifey. I’m in love. I am an Alec Scudder stan first, a lesbian second, and a person third. Maurice has an A+, lesbian approved, shiny gold star, taste in men. The fact that Alec calls himself ‘rough and ugly’ makes me want to sob because he’s NOT. He’s literally a sweetheart and the goodest cutest boy around.
(Headcanons: 100% a wife/husband-guy. Literally loves his spouse more than anything and finds any form of ‘i hate my spouse’ joke stupid. Is definitely a mama’s boy. Also, he likes poetry about nature (Walt Whitman especially) and wants to visit the US some day. He is a total nature nerd and had he had the resources, I swear this man would’ve been a naturalist or something of the like.)
Kitty:
Look. I know there’s barely any information about her in the book and movie. But what if I told you I was in love with her? She stands up to Maurice when he’s being a world-class asshole, and isn’t afraid to chew his ass out in the epilogue for leaving the family (although he was justified in doing so). Something something passionate smart women something something incredibly attractive. Also, because there isn’t a whole lot stated about her in canon, I can go insane and project :)
(Headcanon: the hottest femme lesbian you’ll find in 1910s england ;) )
Clive:
TikTok come get ya mans. Look, I’ll be dead honest I don’t like Clive, but I don’t like the complete villainization of him either. He made a choice many queer men had to make during that time period. I will NEVER dislike Clive because he ended the relationship with Maurice. He was trying to keep himself safe and out of prison.
I WILL HOWEVER hate him for HOW he went about his relationship with Maurice. Throughout the book/movie he dismisses Maurice’s feelings (including when Maurice was expressing suicidal ideation). He treats Maurice as someone who will always be there when he needs him, but does not reciprocate this for Maurice, going so far as to leave Maurice at his estate alone for days at a time like some sort of pet. He isn’t as bothered by the end of their relationship, because for him it was never really THE end. He never expected Maurice to find someone else.
Clive couldn’t love Maurice in the way he needed to be loved, Alec could.
(Headcanon: Clive was incredibly bitter and upset once he realized that Maurice had left for good with Alec. He wouldn’t learn about Alec and Maurice still being together after all these years until Chapman mentions that Ada told him that Kitty (long game of telephone going on here I know) saw Maurice with some man. He’d put two and two together really quick and would probably have another breakdown. Idk. He seems like the type to get pushed over by a strong gust of wind so I wouldn’t put it past him to breakdown over his first love still living happily with someone else, when it could’ve been him.)

After grayson and mila make up - in many ways, they start doing their research. Neither of them have any idea on how to parent. They both grew up with pretty shitty parents, so they don’t really know where to start. Mila went to the doctors, and her midwife told her to start getting books or visiting parental classes. It’s optional, but she recommended it seen as mila and gray have absolutely no clue about parenting.
Grayson was even more protective over mila, never wanting to leave her side. And her bump is the cutest little thing, it’s more prominent when she wears her dresses, but grayson just loves talking to his bub at night. He even gives mila’s stomach a kiss before sleeping every night. Mila just knows that grayson will the absolute best dad, no matter what he thinks himself. She’s seen him around other kids and even when he’s just around mila, he’s smart, and kind and the most friendliest person you’ll ever meet. He’ll be the best dad ever.
Currently, ikea is their favourite store.
Mila’s ideal day out is no longer going for dinner and then go to a party or club - no it’s spending the day at ikea. The couple take a few weeks coming up with a theme for the room and then of course builder grayson comes in handy, putting everything together.
Grayson had to paint the room with alec, because he didn’t want mila anywhere near the paint fumes. Which of course mila through a little tantrum over - but she got her before and after pictures just fine. They both decided waiting for the bub to come and then see the gender was the best way to go. They’d pick two names and then if it was a boy or girl; they’d just name the baby then.
The room was painted a beautiful sage green, paintings and pictures up on the wall. There’s a changing table and mirror near the door, with drawers underneath it. On the shelves there’s more pictures and toys. There’s a rocking chair in the corner of the room near the window. And of course the cot! But mila wants the baby to stay in their room for as long as possible; and grayson can never say no to her.
For the time being the nursery is for tummy time when they’re a little older, cuddling, rocking, nap time and feeding!

Unlikely Friends (Alec Hardy x Reader)

The babysitter just had to cancel, on a Monday, when you had absolutely no one else to watch your son, Archie. He was only two, so he definitely hasn’t started primary school yet, and you lived in Broadchurch alone, no family, no nothing.
All of your friends had jobs as well, so none of them could watch him. So, it looks like Archie was coming to work with you.
Hopefully your boss, DI Hardy, wouldn’t mind, he wasn’t exactly the most compassionate man. He was kind when he wanted to be of course, he was a good cop too, no matter what the media labeled him.
Oddly enough, he seemed to have a soft spot for you as well, he was kinder to you than the others, even Ellie.
So, you came into work that morning, one hand holding Archie’s as he toddled beside you, the other holding a diaper bag containing things to entertain him for the day. People stopped to coo at Archie, who just giggled back at them.
When you got to your desk, you grabbed Archie, setting him on top of the desk along with his diaper bag. You stopped him from grabbing your scissors before a shadow appeared beside you, looking over, you saw Ellie, smiling.
“Bringing the little man to work today?” she asked, reaching out to pinch Archie’s cheek playfully, he smiled.
“Ellie!” he squealed in his cute little voice. Ellie picked the small boy off your desk, turning to you for an answer for her question.
“Yeah, unfortunately Alice had to cancel, she’s sick or something, I didn’t have anyone to watch him so hopefully Hardy doesn’t get on my arse about it,” you explained, sitting down at your desk as Ellie tickled Archie, making him giggle again.
“I’m sure he won’t, everyone here knows he’s got a soft spot for you,” Ellie said, giving you a playful wink.
You groaned, throwing your head back, “Yeah, and I’ll never understand why,” you spoke, throwing your hands up in the air.
Archie reached out for you and you happily took him from Ellie’s arms, grabbing a toy from his bag and sitting him on your lap.
Ellie shrugged, “Probably fancies you or something,” she told you, you laughed and shook your head.
“Yeah, sure,” you said, turning to your computer as you powered it up.
Ellie laughed, going to sit at her desk. After a while, Archie got a bit fussy, so you set him on the floor beside your desk to play with his trains on the floor. Thankfully, Hardy was shut up in his office, not really paying attention to anyone, so it seemed he hadn’t noticed your little visitor for the day.
After making sure Archie was content, you turned back to your computer, continuing to type out some files.
Unbeknownst to you, Archie had silently gotten to his feet and padded away. Considering he was so small, he sort of went unnoticed, that was, until he wondered into Hardy’s office. The door was cracked, and Archie was a rather curious little guy.
Alec was sitting at his desk going over documents from the Latimer case, he didn’t even notice the door open or the sound of little feet walking towards him until he felt a small hand tug at his shirt.
He nearly jumped out of his skin, not expecting anyone to be there, “Shit!” he cursed, looking over to see a chubby cheeked little boy standing beside his desk chair.
Archie only laughed, clapping his hands, “Shit!”, he repeated, he was into that phase now, unfortunately for you.
Alec’s eyes widened and he shook his head, “Oh, no, no, don’t say that,” he spoke.
Archie giggled again, “Shit, shit, shit,” he said, like it was a song.
Alec couldn’t help the small smile that tugged at the corner of his lips, he knew he was yours, the only question was, why was the little guy here? He looked out the window of his office to see you glued to your computer screen.
Was it bring your kid to work day? Was that even a real thing?
The detective shook his head, setting down the document he was holding and turning his chair to face the small boy, “Mummy busy, eh?” he asked.
Archie smiled and nodded, “Workin, shhhh,” he said, putting a chubby finger to his lips.
“Oh yes, your mums very busy, suppose that’s my fault,” Alec spoke, more to himself than the little boy, who was now currently trying to climb into the man’s lap.
Alec let him, he missed having a small child, Daisy was the cutest little thing when she was younger, always laughing and running around, Archie sort of reminded him of that. The better days Alec liked to call them.
Once Archie was on Alec’s lap, he made himself comfortable and began to grab at the papers on the man’s desk.
“Ah, ah, no, not those,” Alec said, stopping the boy’s hands. He reached into his pocket for his phone, pulling up one of those little kids shows that Daisy used to like, he handed the phone to the little boy who smiled and laughed at the song the cartoons were beginning to sing.
Alec continued his work; the little guy wasn’t being fussy anyway. He was an easy kid it seemed.
You on the other hand finally looked up from your computer, your vision a bit blurry from staring at the light. You swore you’d only looked away from Archie for ten minutes, so when you looked down to check on him and saw just his trains lying there, you panicked.
Standing quickly from your desk you checked the immediate area surrounding you. Not there. “Archie?” you called, looking around a few desks.
“Have you seen Archie?” you asked one of your coworkers, who shook their head.
The panic was settling in a bit more then, your hands were shaking as you quickly walked past the door of Alec’s office, but something out of the corner of your eye made you back track quickly.
There, sitting on Alec Hardy’s lap, was your son, happily giggling at whatever he was watching on the man’s phone.
“Sir?” you asked, Alec looked up from his papers, smiling a bit when he saw you.
“Ah, Y/N, believe I’ve got something that belongs to you,” Alec said, motioning to your son on his lap.
“Sir, I-I’m so sorry, I only looked away from him for a minute, his babysitter cancelled today, and I didn’t have anyone else to watch him…” you were rambling, and Alec cut you off.
“It’s fine, don’t worry about it, little man here’s been helping me,” Alec said, reaching down to tickle the little boy’s side, making him squeal.
“Really?” you asked, laughing a bit.
“Yeah, he counted ten pens and told me all the colors he knows, smart boy you’ve got,” Alec said, making your smile widen.
“He’s always been,” you answered sheepishly.
Archie finally seemed to notice you were there, when he did he dropped Alec’s phone on the desk and reached out to you. Alec stood from the desk then, holding the little boy in his arms as he brought him over to you.
“Alright, say bye to Alec, we’ll get you some food okay?” you told Archie.
Archie nodded, surprising you both when he wrapped his little arms around Alec’s neck, giving him a tight squeeze, Alec smiled a bit, hugging the boy back softly.
“Bye Awec,” Archie said as Alec handed him to you.
“Bye buddy, don’t give your mum too much trouble yeah? She works hard,” Alec said, saying the last part more to you.
You could feel the blush creeping up your cheeks as you looked down, “Thank you sir,” you spoke.
“Call me Alec, please” your boss told you.
You smiled, “Alec,” you said, the man’s lips twitched up into a smile.
Turning to leave the room, Alec spoke again before you left, “If you ever need help with him, just ask, I’ve done it before I know how hard it can be sometimes, and he’s welcome back anytime,” he told you.
You smiled and nodded, “Thank you, that means a lot actually,” you said.
Alec looked down, becoming his more reserved self again, “Course,” he said, shrugging.
You left then, carrying Archie to the small kitchen area to make him some toast. You’d never admit it but seeing how good Alec was with Archie absolutely melted your heart.
Maybe Alec wasn’t such a shitface after all.

Alec has one job. Find the drug dealers. Easy enough since he is an FBI Agent undercover in Burlington. But things get complicated when he meets Gabe. Sweet Gabe who always finds himself staring at Alec when they are in the bookstore that is part of Vino and Veritas. And when Gabe tries to be a little flirty and does something nice for Alec, Alec finds himself in a situation that may be the key to finding the drug dealer he was looking for. Alec's paranoia that Gabe may be a suspect leads him to reaching out and flirting back. But soon Alec determines that Gabe is likely not involved with his investigation...but his family is. Now he is caught between a rock and a hard place. He finds himself actually like Gabe and wants to date him for real but he has to use Gabe at the same time to find a lead. Meanwhile Gabe never knows if people want to get to know him for real or if it is because he has money. And when he meets Alec he finds that maybe he can finally be himself and Alec is different. The whole time I was reading this book I was like oh my goodness this isn't gonna end well. Alec needs to tell him the truth and oh no what if he does and Gabe hates him for it!! It was a ticking time bomb but you can't help but fall in love with Gabe and Alec. Such opposites but both bring out a side to one another that is just so great. I couldn't put the story down. I wanted to know if Alec could find out a way to tell Gabe how he feels and let him know he never wanted to use and hurt him. And I wanted Gabe to be happy and trust that someone cares for him and not his background. Loved this story!

he’s genuinely funny and respectful, sometimes he’ll get caught off track when ever he talks too much but all he needs is a reminder
he’s a sophomore so teachers think he’ll grow out of it at some point,,, how wrong they are because his friends say that he’s the same even at sleepovers
other than being funny and loved,,, he’s also very bossy and occasionally whiny
like the student body loves him and all but get paired with him for a project? you need the patience of a thousand yoda’s like holy hell boy is bOSSY
yells at students who don’t listen to him,,,,but does it cutely so they still can’t hate him
you’d think he’d have amazing grades because he’s bossy in projects but he’s actually just mediocre because he spends all class coming up with jokes and finding the perfect time to interrupt the teacher for a joke
he comes to school in expensive clothes because he’s well-off and usually gets his friends expensive gifts too
his friend’s love him because he’s genuine and a funny non-asshole, unlike haechan who they also love but it a bit of a pain in the butt

constantly thinking of routines and songs to dance to and watching others dancing videos and listening to music,,,,,this boy has one and one hobby onLY
gets yelled at in class from time to time because literally all he does is think dance dance dance dance dance
and so he sometimes takes his phone out of his pocket in class to watch videos when he’s bored,,,, on instinct and the teachers are just like -__-
but they’re used to it at this point
looks up to his older friend’s that are amazing dancers like ten and taeyong and always ask them for advice
they always tell him to look after and care for his body,,,,,but he can’t hear them because he’s busy staying up until 3 am getting this damn dance perfect --
always wears sweats to school, because he can dance in them automatically
sometimes wears nice clothes when chenle pesters him about it for eight days straight

but since he’s always busy, he sometimes has to cancel tutoring sessions because he has other things (even though jisung claims he cancels because he’s too busy smooching his girlfriend,,,,,ew)
so you and jisung meet up and study together twice a week, and it actually works,,,,you both go from a 67 to a 81 and that’s the best ya’ll could do and trust me the teachers AREN’T complaining
and during the last studying session, jisung is kind of :\ since you both get along so well and he felt comfortable with you
he asks why you got tutoring in the first place, and your answer surprises him
“ because i dance and well,,,,,my parents said i couldn’t keep dancing if i didn’t bring up my grades so”
and from there on out, you guys moved from studying sessions to dance sessions instead,,,,,and its always just the two of you hanging out at jisung’s and dancing and or chilling
they become like,,,,,dates,,,,,
and so you two at some point just,,,,,tell each other how you feel because of the sheet amount of time you spend with each other, and it feels,,,,natural
he isn’t very affectionate and neither are you
most times you two just lay on opposite sides of the couch and talk about deep thoughts and hold hands uwu
your kisses are only short small pecks because both of you are too shy to add force
you both are literally on the same brainwave, you guys share once single braincell but it’s,,,oddly enduring
you are best friends who just love to dance, think, and kiss :)

(I think they both have a pretty good and healthy understanding of relationships in general, based on THIS, and whenever they talk about Malec and relationship issues. For example: understanding and listening both sides in an argument or a fight; opening up about struggles to each other is a good thing, communication and being honest with each other is really important.
I mean, it’s understandable, Harry and Shelby got together for (about) 10 years ago, and they been married a few years now. I heard Esther and Matt had been together for a long time too, before the got married.
I guess that one of the reason Malec is working so well, because Matt and Harry understands the love Magnus and Alec has for each other.)

Rewatch 104: Raising Hell
We’re out of the introduction section of season one. By now, the audience (and Clary) should be used to the Shadow World being a thing and have some notion of how the mechanics work. All the basic background has been explained, so now we dive into the plot.
Also, Magnus Bane.
Teaser
Once again, Clary’s worry and love for Simon are used in benefit of exploring male characters and not her. This time, it’s Jace who overhears Clary talking to her best friend and feels jealous. Then, it’s Simon who is bitter over being soft rejected again. Can’t we focus on Clary when talking about her feelings?
Anyway, Simon doesn’t trust Jace, but Clary does. After all, Jace saved their lives. He also put Clary at the mercy of a creepy vampire without her consent or knowledge. But, hey, if Simon can think Camille is hot after she sexually assaulted him, Clary can have the hots for Jace. Equal opportunity.
Clary wants to exchange the Mortal Cup for her mother. She says this after days of everyone she met telling her that Valentine cannot, in any way, shape, or form, put his hands on the Mortal Cup or everyone will suffer. Why am I supposed to root for her? I’m actively rooting against Clary getting the Cup. Very against it if her goal is to give it to Valentine.
That said, Clary and Simon brainstorming works well. Smart kids are smart.
Also, Simon’s hallucinations are creepy by the right amount.
Act One
These little Clace moments are funny to watch. I like that it’s the girl walking into the semi-naked guy and not the other way around.
Oh, yes. Magnus Bane is very powerful. He’s also the High Warlock. Why didn’t you go straight to him again? Also, Jace, being a bitch about Clary’s best friend won’t make her warm up to you, no matter how jealous of Simon you are.
I have some questions: does Jace know that Clary wants to exchange the Mortal Cup for her mother? Does he care? Would he let her do it? Is he using her quest to save her mother to get to the Cup?
“Considering I’m the guy with the weapons, I pretty much get to say what I want.” Jace really has the most atrocious lines.
Too bad nobody asks Simon what freaked him out so much. He was fine just minutes before and now he’s acting like that out of fear. If only someone – okay, he’d only respond to Clary – if Clary had asked him why the sudden attitude change, he might have explained about the hallucination and Jace could’ve explained it’s a side-effect of the blood he drunk.
Magnus is over 300yo (I’m tagging all references on Magnus’ age). He also gets his own introduction – for the benefit of the audience, of course, because nothing justifies the Lightwoods knowing nothing about the High Warlock of Brooklyn.
Just like with the vamps, the show takes this opportunity to talk about warlocks in general: they take payment for services rendered, they are immortal, they- that’s it. All one needs to know. We will get a hint at Warlock Marks in Act Three, though.
Funny how Alec is the only one that ignores Magnus’ bad reputation and treats Magnus as a person, not an irresponsible slut. Izzy thinks Magnus would care more about a party than his people’s safety, Jace is quick to make remarks about Magnus’ love life for Clary’s amusement, and Hodge outright calls Magnus a greedy hedonist. Alec, however, doesn’t think Magnus would go to a party with Valentine out there. He is right: Magnus goes to meet with Clary, someone he cares about.
I’m still not over how ridiculous it is that Valentine’s base is in Chernobyl. Or how bad these two Seelies are at scouting. They just stood in the middle of the room. I know they are invisible, but come on!
Act Two
Valentine is a blood supremacist. I wanted to make it clear because maybe this on the nose dialogue wasn’t on the nose enough.
Some tension between Luke and Alaric and a reminder that Luke is under surveillance from the mundane police. Cool? I guess we’re dropping the mystery on whether Luke is a good or bad guy then.
This “girls getting dressed” scene is making me wonder: if Jocelyn burned down Clary’s bedroom, where did Clary get the clothes she’s been wearing in the last couple of episodes? Well, at least there is less slut-shaming Izzy’s clothes: Clary actually compliments them.
Again, I don’t understand why Jace acts like Clary will inevitably find a way out of the Institute if he tries to keep her inside. But, alas, Clary gets her first dagger!
Magnus feeds his reputation by acting carelessly but underneath it, he’s not kidding. Too bad he sends Elias out of the protection of the lair; that will lead to the attack on the warlocks when Elias is intercepted and rats them out.
Izzy is finally acting like a real person. No alluring tone, no flimsy little giggles. Just a normal tone of voice and her real personality. Good. Also good is the complicity between Izzy and Alec: how Alec can vent to her and how Izzy cares about him.
Maureen is the cutest. Too bad Simon will break her heart, but at least she gets to live a normal life far away from the Shadow World. Which is the opposite of Simon’s own fate.
Act Three
Clary and Izzy’s friendship is still the gayest. It’s so good to see Clary making an uncomplicated friendship with someone that has her best interest in mind. This is different than her relationship with Jace, which is colored with their attraction to one another, and her antagonist relationship with Alec.
I know it’s easy to dislike Clary for treating Magnus rudely in their first meeting but, as far as she knows, he’s a hedonist asshole who took money in exchange for wiping out her memories. Not exactly someone you’d hug hello. That said, she needs Magnus’ help, so treating him like the dirt she found in her shoes isn’t exactly going to rally him to her side.
Magnus is 100% done with Jace and they’ve been in each other’s presence for ten seconds. That’s the whole relationship in a nutshell at least until half of season 2a.
This Clary/Magnus exchange should’ve been about Clary being the Hero™ and trying to convince Magnus to face Valentine instead of running away from him. She’s supposed to be inspiring Magnus to fight. But it doesn’t work: Magnus and Clary are not in similar positions. He has people under his responsibility, she does not. He has something to lose, she already lost it all.
The Lightwoods are shown as competent fighters again. Well, Alec is. He finishes off the Circle Member with one arrow. Magnus is impressed and aroused.
Another fall out between Alec and Jace. Did venting earlier made Alec stop holding his tongue? Also, once again Clary gives zero fucks about anything that doesn’t concern her. I’ve watched the episode four times now and I still hope Alec will tell Clary “The world doesn’t revolve around you and what you want.” But, instead, he keeps going along with the rogue mission.
Some action! Clary saves the warlock girl. This is going to be important because that’s the reason why Magnus agrees to help Clary later. The bar is really that low.
The Circle Member that Magnus has taken Elias’ Warlock Mark in his collection: that is the same practice that Raphael will tell Izzy about in 213.
This episode is the first time we see Alec smile: first a shy smile with Izzy and now a full grin with Magnus. Alec also shows some vulnerability by stammering and looking confused. Magnus likes it.
Act Four
The use of the little Zoe to show Magnus’ soft side is great because it contrasts with everything we’ve heard about him. His honest worry for her clashes against the depiction we got in Act One. However, it gets overboard when Magnus is highly impressed by Clary saving Zoe. Izzy and Jace were there too. Why does Magnus say Clary is “not like the others” when he has no such praise for them?
This undeserving praise escalates even further when Magnus extends it to Jocelyn: the same woman that founded the Circle and only left it once it hurt the man she was in love with, the same woman that had Clary’s memories stolen, and the same woman that continues to act selfishly her whole life.
I’m having a great time watching Simon this season. It’s good to remember why I used to like him. Once the panic has passed, he tries to get help with the person he trusts: Clary. He’s doing what he can.
Magnus’ attempts at flirting with Alec are hilarious – and Izzy agrees. But don’t look away or you’ll lose Magnus proving once again that he is nothing like his reputation says. He immediately gives Izzy the necklace he risked his life for. Greedy, hm?
Act Five
Magnus using his praise to Clary to make sure Alec knows he’s into guys is priceless.
I’m sorry, Clary not knowing where in a pentagram she should stand is just stupid. There are five of them. The creepy whispers in the background are cool, though.
Curious that the order of the memory-giving goes from Izzy to Clary to Alec, skipping Jace. I wonder who Magnus’ memory would be about. Catarina? Ragnor? Raphael? I think Jace’s would be about Alec but the show might have gone with “nothing” because lol Jace only learns what love is with Clary like that’s not worrisome at all.
While the scene plays as Alec’s crush on Jace being revealed and Alec understandably reacting badly to being outed, the way it was done is confusing. Clary’s memory is about her mother, Izzy’s is about her brother. The audience has no reason to believe Alec’s memory isn’t about his brother and Parabatai, but it is actually about the guy he likes. Even Jace’s reaction can be read as surprise that someone loves him: we know by now Jace doesn’t believe in love and sees himself as a stray the Lightwoods took in. We need Alec’s reaction to go back and re-read the scene as what it was intended to be. That’s not great writing.
Another thing that doesn’t work is Clary’s twirl and stab. If it is that easy to kill the Memory Demon, either Alec or Izzy should’ve gone for it instead of pathetically grabbing Jace’s arms. Hell, Jace’s arms were free. He could’ve stabbed the Demon himself. In the next act, Jace is going to praise Clary for this as if it was a hard move. It was not and overestimating Clary’s actions makes her unlikable.
But at least this scene has Clary sacrificing her self-interest (her memories) for someone else’s well-being (Jace’s). Personally, I think this would be more interesting if Alec had been the one taken by the demon. We know Clary will save her Love Interest but will she save the guy antagonizing her in every step?
Act Six
A nonny once said Magnus outed Alec by saying that there was nothing to be ashamed of in front of everyone. They are literally in a different room from everybody else when this conversation happens.
Clary constantly wearing makeup is pissing me off. She’s supposed to be getting ready for bed. Why does she have gloss on?
How does the shredded portal work again? Clary can see where Valentine is and he knows it? He can talk to her through it, in fact. So, he could use to see Jocelyn’s house, correct? After all, it was there all along.

Since Catarina is like technically Madzie’s guardian now? And Iris was before that, both have this sort of connection to healing / medicine. Iris was a doctor and Catarina’s a nurse lols. So I feel like being around that and other warlocks who use their powers to heal people or whatever, Madzie would look up to them in some way and want to imitate their abilities??
SO any time Alec comes by to visit ( because he would when he can ) he’d play along and pretend to be Madzie’s patient as she plays doctor or nurse or healer on him. And Madzie’s pretty powerful and smart for her age so I could see her purposely doing something silly & innocent when she “pretends” to heal him, just to mess with Alec. Maybe she’d tickle him without touching him or give him an itch he can’t scratch?? Idk, something that makes her crack up giggling. She’s a child so I feel like she WOULD find that amusing. And Alec wouldn’t care because he just enjoys seeing her adorable little smile & laugh and ya’ll !!!!!!! I’m crying over it. BYE
What’s more though is, some say laughter IS medicine. So even though Madzie’s “pretending” her laugh is like, medicine.

The Shadowhunter chronicles faves (spoilers for lord of shadows)
Okay but I'd protect: Kieran, Mark, Christina, Ty, Kit, Livvy (;-;), Dru, Tavvy, Helen, Aline, Diana, Jem, Tessa, Will (;-;), Alec, Magnus, Max and Rafe, Raphael (;-;), Simon, Izzy, Maia, Max (;-;), Jules, Alec, Kieran, Ty, Livvy, Alec, Magnus, Kieran, Raphael, Ty, Livvy, Dru, Diana, *repeat* with my life I love them so much I love Kit and relate to him on a spiritual level. I love his relationship with the twins (especially Ty if ya know what I mean ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ) and his frustration with Shadowhunters (he's expressing the viewers words tbh). I love his understanding and need to protect Ty. It's great to see someone doing the right thing for my baby bee boy. I love Dru so much being a middle child is hard, especially when you're 'too young' for literally everything and people forced your younger sibling on you. Also she's beautiful and her talks of insecurities about shape and weight really hit it home for me and I'm sure lots of other. I literally cried when Jules said "You're our heart baby girl. You're the heart of the family." Tavvy is the cutest bean and needs protecting. That's all that needs to be said. Also if anyone hurts him I'll find you. I loved Diana a lot from the beginning. My attachment to the Blackthorns meant that anyone who was nice to them by association caught my interest and deserved attention. But I liked her character, especially when she essentially told Zara to shut the fuck up ngl. Her coming out story was a cherry on the cake tbh I wasn't expecting it and I cried over her story (also her sister ;-;). I love Diana's design too. She's overall a great Character. I love Helen and Aline so much. Their relationship, dedication, meeting, everything about them alone and in a pair is just so great. Also I'm high-key gay for both of them. But Aline dedication to her wife made me cry I'm-- I'm just in love with them ok? Okay but Tessa Jem Will Tho yass I love them I haven't even finished their series (I've read lord of shadows but I'm only on clockwork angel aka the first one ;-;). I live their dynamic. Tessa's just beautiful and great and smart and badass af. Jem is precious I love him. Will is so great I actually prefer his herondaleness to Jace's. I love their interaction. And their Camille and Magnus interaction were the goodest of good shits™ 👌. Do I really need an explanation for Max and Rafe tbh. Like Tavvy they're both adorable and amazing. Also Max is blue (I love the fact he's blue). If anyone ever hurts or bullies them I'm coming for that person. Simon and Izzy. Well what can i say, Izzy is hot and Simon is chill (mah man). He's honestly such a geek ("tell me a bedtime story" "k *plot of starwars*"). He should meet Kit tbh. I love Izzy in book and the TV show (and not just because Emeraude Toubia is impossibly attractive). I live her character. I love Simon's character. 'Nough said. Max, well, uh we don't talk about that. F U C K Y O U S E B A S T I A N M O R G E N S T E R N ! ! ! I loved Max so much, though, I wish I could have protected him personally. He was so cute and loved reading and felt like no one noticed or listened to him or borderline ignored. (That sounds familiar call out post to my toxic friends and family). He's a 13 year old boy you should be ashamed! Tbh I loved Maia since I first read about her in the books. She was so strong and badass and pretty and great. Also that one time where izzy says if she was attracted to girls she'd tap that ass. Also when she killed that asshole I was like yasssss queen slay!!! Rip Kyle tho I miss him. She pretty great in the TV series too, W E A RE N O T T A L K IN G A B O U T T H E C L O S E T S C E N E I R E P E AT N O T!! Jules, Jules, Jules... he's a fucking amazing brother lets start with that. He's had to essentially, apart from Emma and Diana look after his siblings, the institute and everything else singlehandedly. He's always there for them. He's also an artist ! That's great I love artist characters idk. Can we also talk about his way with words dang dang diggity dang dang dang he can talk anyone into seeing to his POV or believing his words. He a great boi. He just needs (some milk, sorry it's 2 am) a permanent vacation with Emma in an AU where parabatai bonds won't make you crazy if you be fucking yo parabatai. Mark is great tbh (but again I love Kieran more so don't hurt him mah boi). Like I love his personality and character and appearance and speech patterns they're like the perfect blend between nephilim and faerie and I love that. I love him, that coat scene tho and the kitchen scene and the many scenes where he talks to inanimate objects. Also the make out scenes got diggity damn kierark. Also talking about kierark ppl be like Kieran was so bad to mark yeah but mark was bad to Kieran too. I'm not excusing mah boi here or mark but yeah they both not angels (hahaha). Tbh I loved Raphael so much (also saphael). He was so great I loved this lil asshole so much I cried when he died so much. S E BA S T I A N F U C K IN G M O R G E R N S T E RN !! ! Also ! He's a great great bf, fiancée, future husband, father, future uncle, babysitter, cat sitter, lover, friend, Warlock, person and soul. I love him I'd give up all my soul and body for him. I worship him, I love his design, speech patterns, personality, methods, over all character and just everything. If I wasn't attracted to female only I'd high-key be crushing on Magnus Bane. Bi the way (see what I did there) he great don't ever hurt. Also he slays. And Harry Shum Jr. does a great job portraying him in the series, he great. Drop everything because you've come to the last of the superior squad (Ty, Livvy, Kieran, Magnus and Alec) Buckle the fuck up guys it's time to go for a spin in the Mystery mobile (or w/e the fuck it's called). Ah Alec, my biggest fave rivalled only by Ty my other biggest fave, he's so handsome brave and amazing. Malec is like supreme OTP (with Kitty and Kierark of course) I live for their dynamic both in the book and on the screen in the TV show. I love Alec as he's incredibly relatable, beautiful, great with kids, a great leader, a great bf/financée/lover/husband, a great person. I love him. If i could if adopt him as my son. I'm screaming he's just so good. Also he hecka attractive for a guy if i was a guy 10/10 would bed and we'd this handsome boi. Also the way he roasted Zara Dearborn, she was more like deadborn back then. (Also when Kieran joined in I cried tears of joy). When are we gonna talk about his alleged bondage kink btw? Hmu with fic and Fanart with this if you have it. In conclusion I love them all very much!
