Esports And Its Growth In India
If we do the numbers, only a decade ago, there were only 25 game developers in India. Today, you can literally find at least 250 game developers in our country. Experts say the market of Esports mostly resides in the West, and has not caught up with the Indian market and its consumers. Well, if we check recent figures, it is quite evident that those experts will be surprised!
Yes, the numbers are good and it is on a good run for the future. According to a report given by EY in an article, right now, 4% of mobile games on the play store are developed by Indian publishers. About 1.5million users, 85 million viewers will come together to represent the Esports market in India by financial year 2025, not to forget, the 20+ broadcasters around the country. The reports also tell us that the Esports industry is set to increase at 46% CAGR by the end of 2025.
These reports are also showing that the Esports market in India reached a scale of about 3 billion rupees in the 2021 financial year and is expected to reach 11 billion rupees in the next three years.

Nah, this is the last fuckin' straw. I've uninstalled the app, left a bad 1 star review explaining these tone-deaf updates are killing the site and I encourage you all to do the same. I guess I'm desktop only for now but even the desktop site is on thin ice.

Like the Thing that pisses me off the most with these patches, is that it truly feels like larian is still relying largely on the player base for QA testing. Like that's ok in Early Access. But it's been months since full release now and it's still happening with every patch.
Like man, I just want to load up BG3 and play for a bit and have fun. Instead it's like, load up the game and encounter several issues or bugs so frustrating that I can't progress or realize it will take me the better part of an hour to sell wares in order to buy that bow I want. And I give up playing.
So instead of playing, I have to send bug reports and feedback as if I'm a goddamn tester and I'm so fucking annoyed that no one in larian QA team seems to catch like 90% of what are frustrating, annoying, or game breaking issues.
Honor mode run? Sounds cool up until you get stuck in a dialogue loop and have to delete the whole campaign.

kinda annoyed that pre-built pcs don't really have hdd drives installed..... i can use my old hdds ofc (i already have one that i use as an external hard drive), but when i bought my current pc it was still normal to have both sdd and hdd installed and they weren't even more expensive
and the lack of optical disc drive too like wtf

for gaming i use my alienware m17 and for work i switch between my ipad and my ~vintage~ 2012 macbook pro hahaha

i would LOVE to b one of those guys who makes cyberdecks and mini raspberry pi laptops and custom macro boards n such but unfortunately i am not much of a hardware girl lol … like i know the basics but not much beyond that n im a little too intimidated to learn rn .. much much much more comfortable with software atm
#i do have an A+ certification but really thats mostly just. knowing what the hardware does#and how to install/uninstall/troubleshoot it on the average pc tower#which most ppl whove built their own pc know to a point#but ive never soldered or made anything custom out of scrap shit lol…. not even sure where to begin#like i could make a sleeper build or a (shitty) server ‘pc’ probably but anything new..? out of my scope lmfaoo
