Hey, sorry if this is an inappropriate thing to ask, it's just a point a lot of people bring up that confuses me; are ALL Jewish people non-white by default? Even white-passing European Jews? Is it okay to say they can experience white privilege if they're white-passing, like I've seen people say about some light skinned black/mixed race people? I guess that's a whole other discussion though. Sorry if I sound ignorant, it's just there are Jews of many different ethnicities right? so it always confuses me when this comes up. Don't feel like you have to answer if this question is inappropriate or anything though, absolutely feel free to ignore ❤️

Here’s the thing: whiteness is a social construct. To be deemed “white” in the modern sociopolitical context is to be deemed a fitting componentof the facist, supremacist race theory that enforces sepratism and division not only within geopolitical boundaries, but community dynamics. Whiteness is centralised by Capitalist politics; the suppression of individualism, cultural practices, identity and community.

Whiteness has erased the diversity of European cultures, to create a singular “white” identity. That there is just white peoples, and then everybody else. When we look at Europe, we see that Italy is not the same as Latvia, who is not Bulgaria and who is not Ireland. This forced assimilation of European identities— something Hitler and the Nazi party strived for, modelling this ethos from the assimilated culture of the European settler American state— has given room for othering, alienation and discrimination based on ethnic and cultural differences; to drive fearmongering of other cultures among the “untouchable” white population.

Jewish people are of every ethnic background, skin colour, nationality. We are a people, not a singularity. We are not to be fit into a box for others consumption, for others tolerance. There are white Jews, but Jews are not white in the centralised socially constructed concept.

Jewish people will be viewed white or non-White by those who see it as a necessary political tool, but you must know that the end goal in deconstruction Capitalism is to strip away these divisionary racial politics. Zionism need you to believe Jews are a singularity to enforce the “Israeli” settler identity, building itself groundworks inspired by the brutal and colonial founding of the United States, that forced cultural assimilation of varied European identities and has since constructed a faux American culture.

Dumb question, so I know many (all?) Slavic surnames are gendered, but is that just traditionally in home countries?

Or would a brother and sister in America just go by the same last name in school, like for registration, yearbooks, attendance, etc?

Or would it still be gendered?

Asking because history has shown many cases of people changing their last names (and first names) to better "fit" (umbrella for all the reasons) in a new country, but I can't find any info on this for Slavic names.

Basically this whole psychology trend of thinking that every myth and fairy tale must have a secret transcendent universal meaning stemming from something intrinsic to the psychology of each and every human being is just perennialism for psychology. And perennialism is a tool of colonialism, assimilation, and even genocide, because whenever a dominant culture decides that it's found the "true" meanings of anything, it'll inevitably try and push it onto the culture they took it from, or even weaponize it against them.

So yeah, this is why a lot of Carl Jung's ideas need to be taken with a grain of salt, if not dismissed entirely. Not only are they pseudoscientific, they're also part of a much larger problem.

''Here, however, it was found that, on average, the 100 Black male faces were perceived as more attractive than the 100 White male faces. This result is consistent with the findings of Lewis (2010) although the Black/White contrast was not explicitly reported in that article. One can conclude, therefore, that if one uses a set of faces that is representative of the populations then Black males are seen as more attractive than White males. The current findings that Black males are seen as stronger, more dominant and more masculine than White faces are consistent with Wade el al.’s findings. Unlike Wade at al’s findings, Black faces were perceived as being more socially competent than White faces but there was no robust difference for perceived warmth. America in general have a very wrong sense of what obesity is, by definition "A disorder involving excessive body fat that increases the risk of health problems and normal functioning of the individual"

The keyword here being functionality, here's the study of obesity and functionality of different groups

What you consider obese cuz they're black is passed on genetically to function a certain way, as in black people have higher percentage of fat deposits in areas which is necessary for their role as mothers. Big wide hips to be able to birt multiple children, similar reasons for bigger breasts. And these traits have been selectively passed down through generations and that is the reason why black people are so strong physically

If you are of any color, do not watch this movie. It's not for us. It's for them.

It's all the racist triggers with none of the release.

I was expecting a movie where friends get together and kill one another. It was not that. At all.

This is one of those horror movies for white people. That's fine, I'd just like a little warning next time.

To the writers and directors and studio executives who make stuff like this, this is how to tell the difference: If the racist white people end the movie unscathed, it's for liberal white people. If the movie ends with the racist white people dead, it's for us. But that is not always the case, but it is most of the time, so use your common sense.

Also, if you're going to have a movie where they are dropping hard Rs and all the other racial slur, please make the movie worth it. I want visual comeuppance. Not that psychological, "you thought," bull shit.

This movie is for liberal white people to become aware of the racism that they can't always see.

I will say I did learn one thing watching this. That "scold the parents in front of their kids, to cause embarrassment" in hopes of rushing the kids' assimilation and inducing racial self-hatred is something I've never once thought about. That's some next level evil.

This post I reblogged about whiteness hurting everyone is also relevant to the topic of New Age spirituality. New Age is essentially a new manifestation of whiteness, open to anyone who's willing to give up their authentic traditions and assimilate into this bland, insipid attempt at spirituality.

It's also designed to prey on those of us who are already culturally alienated.

You feel alienated for reasons you can't quite put your finger on? You feel yourself missing a family from long, long ago? Oh sweetie that's because you're a starseed and you miss your star family. Come and join your Soul Tribe in your Family of Light and everything will be all right. :) :) :)

Most of those who are deep into the New Age moment are (at least right now) incapable of understanding that a big reason some people resist New Age is because we're aware that this is just a new manifestation of the thing that caused this pain in the first place. We know that this movement is just going to hurt us and others again. We know that it's going to be weaponized against people - some far more than others. We know that New Age is already at the stage of dehumanizing the resistance, whether they're claiming we're evil reptilians or clones without souls.

Fact is, people don't just resist New Age because they don't have enough love and light in their hearts. Many resist it because they can see it for the monster that it is. We know the patterns of this beast. We remember the pain of its bite in the scars it left us with. We aren't interested in being mauled again.
