Just seen tweets about how there's no diversity in moon knight cause "how the hell there are no black people it's Egypt it's in Africa" ,these are literally a bunch of tweets that exists which come from ignorance and afrocentrism.
The afrocentric movement is saying that modern Egyptians who live in the country are not by anyways related to ancient Egypt and that they are the true Egyptians, the Photoshop statues and colours of drawings (+so many other things) so they'd prove their false ideology.
Egypt has all skin colours, but in Cairo we mainly don't have black people like in other cities, so that's why moon knight has no black representation and might have none at all.
Also it's been proved that 85% of the modern Egyptians carry the same DNA as ancient Egyptians,so don't come at me with a black African scientist research which has nothing to back it up other than Egypt is in Africa so they must be black cause all of that is respectively false & yes we've been colonized many times but we're still the same Egyptians with our language, culture & unlike other countries that have gotten affected by colonization through change in language or DNA,that didn't happen to us Egyptians.
So please respect us and respect our history, the ancient Egyptian attire is not just costumes, it's our history and culture, so stop appropriating wearing those clothes and saying it's just clothes, it's not.
Also please respect our history and yours whoever you are that's trying to appropriate the Egyptian history by saying it's yours, it's not. So please stop being offensive and start looking through your own true history rather than stealing others.
