Can you blame them? Show pretty woman and that’s all it takes. (Myself included, I love Linzer.)
There was no way you were guilty in any capacity with the connection to Old Jolly’s “murder”. You were too busy being Creme Brûlée’s sole audience member as he practiced for the banquet.
It’s like he wants you to come with him for his practice, to see if what he can do impresses even you, the supposed ruler of the Cookie Kingdom. It didn’t take much really! Creme Brûlée is flustered to see you enthusiastically clapping your hands from his practice! He took a bow and personally thanked you, his audience.
So the accuser better take back their accusation against you!

Anything for Creme Brûlée Cookie x Reader? I feel like he doesn’t get much attention…
Tumblr media
Creme Brûlée Cookie will often refer to you as his 'muse' or his 'songbird'. He loves seeing you get all flustered whenever he does.
He always gets you the best seats wherever he's performing. He always listens out for your applause, and can be seen beaming whenever he hears it.
He can handle criticism towards him with mild annoyance, but any towards you had him tossing away his usual calm persona and getting ready to fight. That's usually when you have to call Linzer Cookie to come and help you calm him down.
He's written several pieces meant only for you. He'll play them when alone with you, and he won't ever play them for the public because it's meant for you.

Bcs I crave love and affection I want a clothed cream fluff who's very clingy towards there s/o I crave love And I need more fanfics he's adorable.
Warmth in Their Arms (Clotted Cream Cookie x GN Cookie!Reader)
CW: none, just fluff.
A/N: this is a continuation of my fic, A Slip of Paper but in this fic, he and reader cookie are now married. (Also, my writing skills are still rusty since I took a long break so I apologize if this isn't good 😅)
Tumblr media
‿︵‿︵ʚ˚̣̣̣͙ɞ・❉・ ʚ˚̣̣̣͙ɞ‿︵‿︵
It's been a few years since that day you and Clotted Cream Cookie have met and eventually had gotten married after years of being together as a couple. Even when time passes and had a freshly baked cookie together, his charismatic and flirty personality still retains, which is the reason why you still fell deeply in love towards him.
You're still a news reporter, yes, but now you are married and raise a family together, you began to work part time as a journalist within your area. You even bring along your husband (if he has some free time from his career as the consul) and your son during your travels. Your son loved all the stories you told him before you met his father and the different kingdoms you visited during your time as a news reporter. But the one story he deeply loved was the story on how your love story had begun with your husband.
The very same story on how the two of you had met for the first time when you were assigned to hold your news program in the Creme Republic (you also moved there too!) And kept the same slip of paper that he used when he asked you on the very first date the both of you had.
After a long day of his career, Clotted Cream couldn't wait to finally have a rest and to spend some time with his beloved family. His wonderful spouse and his son are now awaiting for his arrival. He imagines on how the manor smells good with the food you cooked for him and the adorable smile your son had whenever he goes home for the day.
He was about to open the door, holding in his arms was a bouquet of flowers for his spouse and a box of sweets for his son, the smell of your cooking invaded his sense of smell. He couldn't wait to eat the delicious dinner you had prepared for him and your child. He opens the door and came running your son, clutching his leg and looks up to stare at your husband's green eyes.
"Papa's back!! Welcome home, Papa!" The toddler spoke as his father patted his head affectionately and places his expensive coat on the rack beside him. "Be careful now, Creme Brulee. I might drop these trinkets I brought for you and your mama/dad." As the toddler let's go of his leg, he gave the small cookie a box filled with so much sweets and puddings. The cookie's eyes sparkle in happiness as he eagerly ate one of the sweets from the box. "Go easy on the sweets son, we don't want to anger them when they found out that you ate something sweet before dinner." Your son nodded, continuously ate the sweet, his mouth littered with lots of sweet frosting from the sweet delicacy he recently ate.
"Speaking of them, where's your mama/dad?" Creme Brulee pointed on the kitchen where you cook the last food you prepared for dinner. Clotted Creme softly smiled at the sight of you, working hard in the kitchen and still retaining the soft expression you had since the day he first met you. He placed the flowers on the table and gave you a surprise hug from behind.
This made you jump in surprise, dropping the wooden spoon in return. "Clotted Cream! You scared me for a bit!" You giggled, picking up the wooden spoon from the floor, washed it and returning to stir the hot stew from the stove. Your husband chuckled slyly as he kissed your neck, making your skin growing goosebumps from Clotted Cream's sudden affection. "What? Can't I just hug the love of my life from behind? You know how much I missed you and our son."
You rolled your eyes while smiling in response, flicking your husband's forehead as a way to get revenge from him. He was not amused by your action but he continues hugging your body while you cook. "You know how this antic of yours never gets old, especially the time when we first met here!" You spoke while caressing both of his arms, which are still wrapped around your waist. "Now why don't you sit on the couch with our son while I finish up the stew?"
Clotted Cream still didn't budge from his place. "No can do, darling. I just want to hold you. I missed your presence so much, love." You sighed, turning off the stove to prevent the stew from burning and cause the whole kitchen to be burned into crust. You turn around and return the gesture as you placed a small kiss on your husband's forehead, which he humms as a response. "You've been very clingy today, Clotted Cream dear. It looks like you need lots of love and affection from your spouse."
He didn't respond nor replied to your words. Clotted Cream pulled you closer within his arms as the gentle sway of each other's arms put the both of you in a trance. You can feel how much your husband loves you by from his clinginess. You knew how tired your husband during the day and how he works hard just to come home to your arms and to his adorable son, the cookie was was the spinning image of him, well except for the eyes.
As the both of you go for a kiss on the lips, Creme Brulee suddenly interrupted this lovey dovey moment together with your husband. "Papa!! Mama/Dad!! I'm hungry, can we eat now??" The both of you stared at each other's eyes and laughed at the same time. It looks like this little cuddling session will continue on the shared bedroom.
Also, you loved the flowers your husband brought for you but you didn't appreciate the act where he just gave Creme Brulee some sweets before dinner.

His Favorite Bakery
Gojo Satoru x Bakery Owner!Reader
Type - major fluff!!!
Summary - When Gojo's students get curious about where he goes every week, they follow him to find out. Hopefully it doesn't disturb the peace of the small bakery they find themselves in.
Requests are open!!!
Tumblr media
The students of Jujutsu High watched as their teacher happily left the school grounds after class.
“Where do you think he’s going?” Yuji asked, gaining everyones attention.
“Who cares?” Maki spoke, starting to turn away.
“He always leaves school grounds Thursdays at three.” The pink haired boy continued. “Don’t you guys think it’s strange?”
“He has a routine. What’s so weird about that?” Nobara asked. Megumi just looked away with a weird expression. This caught the other two first years attention.
“You know something.” The girl instantly pointed out. Megumis expression just sank further.
“You do! Where does he go?! Common! Tell us!” Yuji yelled.
“I’m kinda interested now too.” Panda spoke from where he sat.
“Tuna.”
“You too?” Maki asked the cursed speech user, having turned back around to everyone else.
“You’re going to make me say it aren’t you?” The shadow user deadpanned as everyone circled him. “He goes to a bakery.” That answer made everyone pause.
A…bakery?
“What do you think he does there?” Yuji asked.
“Maybe he has secrete meetings with some higher ups there!” Panda spoke.
“He probably has a secrete love that he meets there! A forbidden love that no one can know about!” Nobara exclaimed dramatically.
“That’s stupid. You wouldn’t meet a secrete lover in a public place.” Maki said, “He probably just likes the food. He does have a big sweet tooth.”
“Tuna tuna.”
“Why don’t you just follow him if you’re that curious?” Megumi’s words made everyone pause once again. In a heart beat, the two first years were gone. They had ran after their teacher who was long gone by now.
“Shouldn’t one of us keep an eye on them?” Panda asked, a little worried about the two. Maki and Toge both looked to the shadow user.
“Why do I have to?”
“Because you were the one who suggested following Gojo. Now, go.” He sighed at the second years words before following his friends.
It could be worse, he thought to himself. At least he likes the bakery and the woman who works the store by herself on Thursday afternoons.
“Hello!” Gojo called out in a sing-song voice as he walked through the small shop doors. Not a lot of people were here, mainly a couple of high-school kids who had just gotten out of classes, meaning he didn’t disturb anyone. Looking up, I saw the white haired man. He wore his usual purple slacks and baby blue button down shirt that was tucked in perfectly, not a single wrinkle in the fabric. His hair was a little messy and slightly in his eyes that were covered with dark sunglasses. My smile warmed at the sight of his happy expression.
“Hello, Satoru.” I responded, leaning even further into the palm that my head rested on as I leaned against the counter. “Right on time, as usual.”
“I wouldn’t miss this for the world.” He sounded so happy. “What did you make me for today?” As he asked that, he leaned slightly across the counter to me.
“Nothing too special. I have few chocolate and creme brule macarons from this morning for you. They sold as soon as we opened but I figured you’d really enjoy them so I set some aside. But, if you don’t want those then I think you’d also really like the orange-almond cake.” While I spoke, I turned and grabbed the small box full of the tiny cookies that I was talking about. They were wrapped in pretty blue packaging, a color that I assumed he liked based on his clothes always being in the cooler tones. With a wide smile, I handed him the box.
“You didn’t have to do that, but thank you! I’ll make sure to enjoy them. How much?”
“Oh no, these ones are on me.”
“That’s no way to run a business.”
“You’re in here every week and buy something every time. Let me treat my favorite costumer, okay?”
“Well, when you put it that way, how can I refuse?” Despite the conversation being over, he stayed where he was. I laughed a bit at his lovestruck expression.
“Do you wanna get something for Megumi too?” He perked up at that question, wondering why I asked it. With a playful smile I pointed towards the large window at the front of the store that he had his back turned towards. There, standing next to two people who were peeking inside, stood the young boy.
“He likes ginger, right?” I asked as Gojo turned ever so slightly towards the window. It was enough for him to see outside, but not enough for it to be obvious that he was looking. “I have a few white chocolate gingersnap truffles if you think he’d like them.”
“Yeah, I’ll take two.” With that, I went and grabbed the sweets then handed them to him. “Will you let me pay for these or are they a treat too? Because I would really like to pay the pretty baker.” I couldn’t help the roll of my eyes.
“If you really want to. It’ll be $5 for those.”
“That’s it?” He fished around in his pockets for a little before pulling out two twenty dollar bills. “There you go.” Carefully, I slid one of the bills back towards him only for him to stop my hand.
“This is thirty five more then you need to pay.” I mumbled, enjoying the warmth of his hand against mine.
“I know what I handed you.” He smiled. “Consider the rest a thank you tip.” Very gently, he brought my hand to his lips and kissed my knuckles. My whole face erupted into red. He quite enjoyed the expression I currently held. “I’ll be back in a few seconds. I’m gonna give Megumi his treats.” With that, he walked outside and left me to calm down. A couple of the high school students giggled at my flustered state, throwing a few teasing comments at me. They were also regulars and meant nothing harmful with their words. It was like they were teasing a friend who just talked with their crush, which honestly was what happened. I just told them to shush and do their homework as a few of them complained about never getting free food the way Gojo did.
“You don’t get free food because you aren’t Gojo, okay? No go finish your homework before I kick you out.” I laughed with fake anger. They sighed but did as told to as to not get throw out.
Meanwhile, Gojo had made his way outside. His students were ‘hiding’ from him, making him sigh. Yuji and Nobara were trying to cover themselves with a newspaper while Megumi stood with his hands in his pockets.
“Megumi!” The white haired sorcerer called out. “Here, (Y/n) thought you’d like these. I wouldn’t have gotten you anything since you’re snooping on me but you know how she is.” The boy looked at the box handed out towards him before taking it.
“Thanks. Is she doing well?”
“Why don’t you go in and talk with her? She hasn’t seen you since you started at Jujutsu high. And, I need to have a word with those two alone.” The other two first years jumped at that last sentence. They watched as Megumi abandon them while walking into the small bakery.
“Now. What are you two doing out here?”
“Megumi said you came here!”
“Yuji wanted to know where you went every week!”
“Nobara thought you had a girlfriend!”
“Megumi brought us here! It’s not out fault!” They talked over each other, trying to pin the blame on anyone else as to not get whatever ‘punishment’ might await them for snooping around.
“Why didn’t you just ask if you were that curious?” They both paused.
“I guess we didn’t think you’d answer us if we did.” Yuji responded after thinking for a minute.
“Well, I would have. Nobara was right. My wife works here!” He exclaimed happily, throwing the two off. Of course he knew that we weren’t dating, let alone married. He just knew my reaction would be priceless when these two came in screaming about me being his wife.
“Wife?!”
“You’re married?!”
“Yup! She’s an angel too! You can come in and meet her if you’d like.” In a heart beat, they were inside. There, they saw Megumi talking to a woman who looked to be a little younger then Gojo. She fit right in with the aesthetic of the small bakery. She was basked in warm brown colors that matched the dark oak counters and golden colors of the pastries that sat in a cabinet next to her. But those thoughts were pushed to the back burner as they ran up to ask about our engagement and wedding that I didn’t know about.
“You’re married to Gojo?!” The girl asked, pushing closer to me.
“What’s it like? Is he the same as he normally is?!” A guy with pink hair asked. They threw question after question at me till I felt dizzy. My face burned bright red at the thought of being married to Gojo.
Of course it sounded nice. To be able to go home and be welcomed into his arms, especially after a hard day at the bakery. He would be so sweet, holding me tight and whispering that everything would be okay. I knew from the amount of money that he spent here that he was rich so it would never be a problem to get rent sent on time like it currently was. And when the landlord that owned this building came around, threatening to sell it to a different business that made more money, he would be there to chase them away. He could take care of things for me when I couldn’t. But those thoughts were ridiculous! He didn’t like me so I could just push that out of my head. He enjoyed my baking, that’s all.
“W-what? M-marr-ied?” I asked, unable to keep from stuttering as I held my hands up and shook my head. “N-no! We-we aren’t married!”
“Oh we aren’t?” Gojo asked, walking in with a hand behind his neck. Happily, he took in my flustered state. He enjoyed this too much. “My bad, I guess I forgot to propose before telling my students about it.” I had to take a second, squatting down with my hands resting on the edge of the counter.
“You haven’t asked her out yet?” I heard Megumi ask with what could almost be annoyance in his tone.
“Eh, not yet. You can see how shy she gets. I’m taking my time.”
“Taking your time is a couple of months. You’ve known each other for two years now.”
“Yeesh, fine. I’ll do it. But later.” That conversation only made my whole situation worse. I felt like I was going to pass out from how much blood had rushed to my head.
“I…I need a second.” I mumbled, completely crumbling to the floor, making the other customers that knew me laugh a bit out of fondness. They all knew that Gojo was going to eventually ask me out, that much was obvious. They were just glad they got to see my over the top reaction, knowing they wouldn’t believe it if someone told them about it.
It took a few minutes before I was back to normal. By now I had learned the two new peoples names and they had learned the situation and my relationship with Gojo and Megumi. They both ordered something to eat and drink after a while.
“This time will be on the house.” I smiled, earning two ‘thank you’s from the kids. Without even looking, I knew the look Gojo gave me.
“(Y/n).” He all but sighed out. “What have I told you about that?”
“W-well they’re your students and it’s obvious you care about them so I though it’d be okay! Plus, you gave me extra so I can use that!”
“No, stop giving stuff away for free. That ‘extra’ is for you, not so you can give other people discounts.” With that, he fished around his pockets again and pulled out another twenty dollar bill. How many of those did he carry around?! “Here.”
“I can’t-that’s way too much!”
“I’m giving you this.” He spoke, grabbing my hand and placing the money in it, making sure our eyes locked. “Whatever is left over is yours.” I could feel my heart melt at we stared at each other. In that moment, I really wanted to kiss him.
“Thank you.” I whispered. We stayed like that for a while before he let go and waved over his shoulder as he sat down with his students at the table they picked out.
“Are you sure you two aren’t married?” I heard the boy named Yuji ask.
“Yeah, at least not yet.”

Strawberry Fields
Tumblr media
Paring: Kirishima x Full Figured Reader
Rating: SFW
Word count: 5.5K
Warnings: Self-Deprecation, Fat-phobia
Prompt: First meeting
Taglist: @dragonhrte
So this will be my third tile off of my bingo card for the @bnhabookclub and this one was a tough one to write. This is SFW but will cover themes such as Self-deprecation and Fat-phobia. As a person who has been on the bigger side most of her life it has taken a lot of confidence building to get to be who I am today. And as a writer I fell like it’s my duty to be as inclusive as I can be. Through my years of reading I haven't seen that many fuller body reader fics. When I say fuller body I’m talking 200+.
If there is one thing I want someone, plus size or not just remember you deserve to be and feel loved, everyone does! I hope this can give whoever is reading this a sense of comfort.
You don’t think you could ever forget the first time he came into your life. At the time you worked at a sweets shop called Honey’s, a place that only sells, well sweets! Cakes, doughnuts, pastries, floats, sundaes and milkshakes. Honey’s had a wide variety to offer for their wide variety of customers, they ranged from kids all the way to cute elderly couples, sharing a banana split.
You loved working there, it was perfect seeing as how you were in culinary school to be a confectionary chef. Making pastries and anything sweet was all you wanted to do, it was something that brought great joy in your life. It also didn’t require you to be around too many people at one time. The owner and head chef were more than happy to hire you, and the position was perfect, you just had to work the bar or as they called it the candy bar. Standing behind a giant bar as you took orders for the people that came in alone really was ideal, seeing as how you had anxiety. Being a fuller bodied and taller girl all your life and having dealt with bullying and all types of teasing always stuck with you.
You could remember those whispers people around you in high school made as you walk down the aisle of desks in your classes, your hips sometimes brushing against the desk or the person that was sitting in them. Or even having to turn sideways just to get past something, because you couldn't fit. So working behind the candy bar, where there wasn’t anything you had to squeeze past or worry about bumping into things, truly was a match made in heaven.
You were in charge of making the milkshakes, recipes, names everything. The owner let you have full control of that. When he first told you that you didn’t think anything could top that day.
That was until you met him.
It was a Friday afternoon on a beautiful June day. Even though there was a pandemic going on and everyone, workers and patrons alike still had masks on. Even the regulars were happy the shop was open, happy to have some sort of normality back. The light chime of the bell in the front signaled that a new customer had walked in.
Usually you didn’t look at the door when someone walked in, seeing as how you were always busy manning the bar. But something told you to look up. Standing at the door was a group of guys who were around their twenties, looking around the shop and talking amongst themselves.
You couldn’t take your eyes off of the red haired one. He was tall, one of the tallest in the group, he had broad shoulders and a muscular build. A plain white v-neck t-shirt, light blue jeans that had frayed holes in them and red converse’s. It was a simple look but you couldn’t help but watch as a waitress, who just so happened to be your roommate, walk them over to the booth in the back of the room.
He slid into the booth, the side he sat on faced you, so when he took off his black mask with the words ‘RIOT’ in red letters, you could feel heat rise up your cheeks under your own mask.
‘Oh god he’s really handsome.’  The way his eyes turned into upside down crescent moons as he smiled a smile you were sure could light up the world. His features were manly but also so soft at the same time, it just made you want to pinch his cheeks. His crimson eyes were big and bright, you could feel yourself melt when they glanced in your direction.
You panicked when you locked eyes for a millisecond with him before you just turned your head and pretended like nothing happened. Your heart was racing and legs were weak, all he did was look in your direction and he had you turning into a puddle.
“Hey, are you okay?” The sound of your roommates muffled voice broke you out of your slight panic.
“Yeah, yeah I’m good!” You smiled at her and even though she couldn’t see it through the mask.
“Well the group of hotties I just sat down all want milkshakes. One cara-delight, one cookie monster, one banana mania and one strawberry fields.” You took the small piece of paper from her order book, placing it on your board as you start to make the milkshakes.
You didn’t know which one the man that caught your attention got but something was telling you it was the strawberry one. You kept on smiling as you made the drinks. Wondering what his name was or what his voice sounded like.
Glancing back at the table, you watched as he continued to laugh and talk with his friends. The blonde with what you would call porcupine hair that sat next to him, seemed to be angry about something. But red, that’s what you decide to call him, was just laughing at him which seemed to make the other male angrier.
Shaking your head you turned back to the shakes, putting on the last piece of garnish on the strawberry one. Tapping the bell that let the waiters/waitresses know their order is up my roommate came bustling over.
“This is for the hotties at the back booth right?”
You nodded your head as she fixed her hair and her outfit before taking the drinks over to the table. I felt my heart sink slightly as she started to talk to red. It looked like she was flirting with him, and he was smiling back at her. You let out a defeated sigh as you watched the exchange.
This always happened, a guy you found cute or interesting would fall for your friend. They would become close with you just so they could get close to her.
‘Why am I surprised? Why would a guy like that even notice me?’  You started to wipe down the counter and work station as you got lost in your thoughts. Your roommate was beautiful and petite, an extroverted type of person that people just flocked to, a man’s ideal type.
You felt like you were the exact opposite. Tall, full figured, not great looking and a person with too much anxiety to be sociable. So of course he would go for a girl like her, it just made sense.
You spent the next hour making milkshakes, taking orders of the regulars you had, thinking of new recipes and cleaning. Anything to distract yourself from looking at where red sat. Still not looking you heard your roommate say her goodbyes to the group as they walked out of the shop. Exhaling a sigh of relief, knowing that he was finally gone, it came rushing back as your friend bounced behind the bar, hopping up to sit on the counter of the work station.
“Guess who has a date?” She gushed as she played with a neatly folded piece of paper between her dainty fingers. “I think I’m in love! His red eyes were so...ugh!! And his hair although it was sticking up all over the place, he was still cute. He was so in shape too!!”
With each word she said you felt like your heart was breaking into a million pieces. You weren’t sure what made you think that there was just a shimmer of hope he would be one of those guys who didn’t care about looks and things like that.
“Well anyway he’s coming here tonight when my shift ends for a date! I already asked the owner if we could do it after we close and he said sure as long as you’re here!”
“Wait, you want me to stick around while you go on a date with this guy?” She nodded her head vigorously. “And I’m assuming I'm going to be cooking for this date?” Again she nodded.
“Fine but you owe me big time!” You couldn’t say no to her, she's been your friend since middle school. She was the one to defend you when people used to pick on you and was there for every mental break down you had.
“Do you know how much I love you!?” She jumped off the counter to give you a big bear hug. You wrapped your arms around her slim waist. “His friend said he’d come along, so you wouldn’t just be here alone! He kept asking questions about you.” She wiggled her eyebrows as she danced out of your embrace.
“Huh?! Who?!” Before she could answer a few waiters came up with orders for milkshakes.
“You’ll see later. I’m gonna run and grab stuff for you to cook during my break, and again thank you so much!!” You just waved her off as you started to get the order together.
“When did you have time to change?!” You and your friend had already closed up shop and were getting ready for her date and his friend to show up.
“I move quickly! So I got chicken, lemons, cooking white wine and pasta, that's all you needed right?” She had removed the bags from the walk-in fridge, putting them on the table.
“Yeah I figured a nice grilled lemon chicken and pasta would be a good dinner for the date, and I already started prepping for the creme brulee.” You began to pull the items out of the bag when you heard her phone go off.
“Oh he just texted me! Bakugou and his friend will be here in twenty!” You had never seen your friend act like this about a guy. There was another sharp pain as you felt your heart break.
‘So Bakugou is his name huh?’
“Go out and set up your table, I found some candles in the office for you to use to set the mood.” You started to shove her to the door and out of the kitchen so you weren’t bothered.
She looked like she was walking on clouds as she hummed and made her way to the table in the middle of the room. You figured that would be the best place seeing how it wasn’t so close to where you were going to be, so it didn’t seem like you were intruding on them and not far enough incase she needed help.
Twenty minutes went by too fast for your liking, as happy as you were for her, you didn’t want to see Bakugou so soon. The pasta was done and the chicken needed another ten minutes when she came through the kitchen doors.
“Take off your jacket and come out, they are here!” She was tugging on the sleeve of your white jacket. Sighing you started to unbutton it before sliding it off your arms.
‘Might as well get this over with.’ Hanging your jacket up you looked at yourself in the mirror one last time. All you wore was an old baggy band t-shirt that was so big it came down past your behind and leggings paired with black combat boots.
Following your friend through the swinging doors, you could see two shadowy figures at the door. You heard the lock click as she unlocked it and opened it for the two men. Feeling your anxiety come back, you didn't want to see him again, this was a mistake.
“Hey! So glad you guys can make it.” You tried to busy yourself with the silverware for you and his friend, avoiding looking at him.
“It’s our pleasure! Plus I couldn’t stop thinking of that milkshake from earlier.” That made a smile spread under your mask. You loved hearing people compliment your work.
“My friend here actually is the one in charge of the recipes and menu for them. And she cooked us all dinner tonight!” You could hear them getting closer.
‘Alright here we go.’ You looked up to see blondie and red walking towards you. If this was an anime you were sure one of the ghost things would come out from your mouth as your body left your soul. Bakugou looked so handsome. His spiky red hair from earlier was down now, a black button down with a red tank top peeking through the undone buttons hugged his muscular frame, dark blue jeans showcased his long thick legs, black converses were on his feet this time and that same mask from before.
You were positive that your heart had stopped and so did your breathing. You didn’t even pay attention to his friend, you only saw him.
“Gentlemen this is, y/n. y/n this is Bakugou and Kirishima.” It took you a second to realize that the blonde was Bakugou and the red head was Kirishima. Which meant your friend was on a date with the blonde.
“It’s nice to meet ya!” Kirishima sent you a small wave as those beautiful red eyes turned into crescent moons, he was smiling at you.
“Ditto.” You heard a deep chuckle come from him causing you to blush even more. “Um, I’m gonna go check on the food. You guys can go to the table and Kirishima can sit at the bar with me.”
Walking back through the door to the kitchen, you started to pace. You were about to have dinner with the guy you have been thinking about all day, and you were sweaty and gross from a day's work. Hair pulled up into a ponytail with strands poking out all along your hairline and in an old gross band tee.
You covered your eyes with your hands as you shook your head. ‘Get it together!’
Going to the chicken you saw that it was done and started to plate the dish. Once everything was plated you grabbed a large round tray, placing the four plates on it. Heaving it up to your shoulder to help you balance it, you walked back to the door before backing into it. You had just gotten around the bar when you felt the tray be lifted from your hands. Looking to your left you saw Kirishima hold the tray like you had and made his way to the couples table.
“Here you go guys. Enjoy!” He put the plates down as if he was their server and made his way back to you. You watched as he put the plates down on the bar, then setting the tray off to the side.
“Aren’t you gonna join me?” He pulled his mask down allowing you to see his handsome face in all its glory.
“Um yeah.” You walked over to the stool that had the plate in front of it. Your stool and his were separated by one empty one in between you two.
You felt his eyes on you the whole way to your stool. Once you sat down you looked back at him, he was still staring.
“What?” You started to feel self conscious.
“You’re beautiful.”
You looked at him in disbelief. “How could you possibly know that, when I'm wearing this mask and all you could see are my eyes?”
“That’s all I need to see to know you’re beautiful.” You felt your cheeks heat up intensely as he said that. Not once did he look away from your eyes. And his voice, god could you listen to his voice all night.
“W-we should eat before it gets cold.” You finally pulled down your mask, letting him see your whole face for the first time.
“Seems like I was right, you sure are beautiful.” Your head snapped over to look at him, but he had started to eat his food, a prominent blush on his cheeks as well.
The rest of the night flew by as you and Kirishima started to talk about your love for cooking and baking.
“You're telling me that not only are you beautiful, you can cook and bake?!” He had his elbow propped up on the bar his chin was being held by his hand. A goofy grin was spread across his face as he watched you prepare the creme brulee.
A small part of you wanted to be happy that he was taking interest in your likes and passions in life. But a bigger part of you was aware that he was just here as a wingman for his friend.
“You have the cook and bake part right at least.” You turned on the small blow torch to caramelize the sugar on top of the custard. You glanced up at the man who had your heart racing all night. Instead of the cheerful look you’ve gotten used to, he had an expression of sadness. It confused you, why would he get sad?
“Hey can I talk to you for a second?” You weren't sure when your friend had come over to you, seeing as how you were caught up in Kirishima’s expression. Shutting off the torch, you nodded your head and excused yourself from Kirishima, taking your friend's hand and head for the kitchen.
“I’m really hitting it off with Bakugou, we're gonna go for a walk in the park after dessert. He’s asking Kirishima to walk you home, is that okay?” You could see it in her eyes, she really liked him.
“It’s fine! Go have fun just text me every once in a while okay?”
You both walked out from the kitchen again as you went to finish the creme brulee. You all decided to eat it together at the bar and finish up the night. You learned that Bakugou was a hot head but was still super sweet, perfect for your best friend.
Once everyone was done, the two men insistent on helping you two clean up the mess before leaving for the night.
“All right, have fun you two! I’ll see you at home.” You waved at your friend as she wrapped her arm around Bakugou’s, making their way to the park.
“Shall we go?” Looking over at Kirishima, who had his arm out for you to take like his friend had done, you sighed.
“Listen Kirishima, you don’t have to walk me home. Bakugou got my friend, he doesn’t need a wingman anymore.” You could see the confusion on his face as you continued to speak. “It was a fun night and all but I can get home by myself. Take care.”
You started to walk down the street, leaving Kirishima to stand alone in front of Honey’s. Your apartment wasn’t too far from the shop, only about a twenty minute walk. The only thing that sucked was there was a strip of clubs you had to walk past in order to get home. Drunk people always made you feel anxious, they tend to not be so nice.
You did feel bad for leaving Kirishima like that but you also had to face the harsh reality that there was no way a guy would like you like that. His smiling face and his voice when he called you beautiful rang through your head. You had to admit it was nice to think that maybe he did take an interest in you.
You were so lost in your thoughts you didn’t notice the large group of men outside of one club. Trying to squeeze yourself through them, you accidentally bumped shoulders with the bigger male in the group.
“Oh, I’m sorry.” You apologized the second it happened but the man didn’t care. His large hand shoved against one of your shoulders causing you to fall off the sidewalk and into the street, landing on your side. You could feel the arm you landed on start to burn, certain that you had a couple of scrapes. You had tried to avoid the fall but it caused you to twist your ankle.
“Watch where you're walking lard ass!” He laughed with his group of friends as you still sat on the ground, holding your injured arm in your hand.
Tears started to form in your eyes. Sure you’ve been called names all your life because of your size, doesn't mean it didn’t still hurt. You tried to stand up but your body wouldn’t, you were just emotionally and mentally exhausted. So you just sat there and cried.
“Ha! Look she can’t even stand up! It’s called a gym and a salad, fat-OOF!” You heard what sounded like a rock hitting something followed by a thud of the big man falling and hitting the ground. Wiping your tears you saw Kirishima standing over the fallen man, his chest heaving up and down, hands balled into fists, teeth bared. His face was covered in rage, it kind of scared you.
“It’s not very manly to push a woman around like that!” The guys friends came to try and peel him off of the ground saying apology after apology to you as they ran away. “Cowards!”
Kirishima looked over his shoulder at you, his expression softened once he saw your tears. Moving next to you he squatted down, a large gentle hand came out to move the hand that was covering the wound. You let out a hiss as his fingers grazed it.
“I’m sorry, I should have gotten to you sooner.” His voice was nothing but a whisper, his eyes covered by his hair. “Do you need help standing?”
“Yeah.” Kirishima stood up in front of you holding out both of his hands for you to grab on to. Your hands let go of his as you tried to stand on your own, but there was a shooting pain in your right ankle, sending shockwaves through your body. You felt like you were about to fall again but you felt arms wrap around your waist and a hard chest against your body.
“Whoa I got you.” You could feel him tighten his arms around you, making you feel so warm in his embrace. “I’ll carry you home.”
“No it’s okay I can walk.” You pushed yourself off of him trying to prove you could walk, only to almost fall again.
“Damn it will you just let me help you?” He was holding you around the waist again. A light blush appeared on your cheeks. “Here climb on my back.” He crouched down in front of you, his broad back was in your view.
“I-I don’t want to hurt you.” Your voice was meek, as you looked around. Other people on the sidewalk were staring at the two of you.
Kirishima turned around looking over his shoulder, a wide toothy grin was plastered on his lips, your heart started to race. “I’m a lot stronger than you think.”
You knew he wasn't going to give up, sighing as you climbed on his back. You pressed your chest against his back, your arms wrapping around his shoulders. Your head was next to his as you tried to bury your face in the back of his shoulder. Standing up Kirishima gripped your thighs, jumping so you were in a better position for him.
“You okay?” You could only nod against him. “Can you tell me how to get to your place?” Everytime he spoke you could feel the vibrations go through your body. You directed him to your apartment. As he kept walking you were readying yourself for him to just say that you were too heavy and drop you in the middle of the sidewalk. But he barely broke a sweat as he walked the last ten minutes to your place.
“I can walk now.” You mumbled against his shoulder once Kirishima stepped out of the elevator on your floor.
“Not until I get you inside and patched up.” You’ve only known him for only a few hours but the effect he had on your heart was indescribable. Once he got to your door he squatted down, keeping his eyes to the ground so you could put in your code to open the door.
You were grateful for the fact you cleaned the apartment yesterday, seeing as how there was a guy walking through it. Walking over to the large couch by the window, Kirishima turned around sitting on the couch, allowing you to slide off his back.
“Do you have a first aid kit anywhere?” Your eyes watched his every move as he bent down on one knee, softly grasping your injured ankle. He slipped the boot off slowly, removing your sock and pulling up your leggings so he could get a look at your now swollen ankle.
“Yeah it’s under the sink in the bathroom, down the hall first door on your right.” Kirishima took one of the small pillows off the couch and pulled the coffee table closer. Placing the pillow on the table, laid your ankle on it as he ran to the bathroom.
You weren’t sure how to feel. Between your feelings for your red knight, what happened with the guy outside of the club and your own insecurities. Could he actually like you? Were you allowed to actually have someone like you, for you?
“Here we go. I took a bag of frozen peas from the fridge if that's okay.” You could only nod your head as he went back to the same position he was in earlier. “Looks like it might be sprained. You are gonna have to stay off of it for a while, so that means no work for the time being.”
Kirishima was wrapping an ace bandage securely around your ankle and foot. Once he did that he put the frozen bag of vegetables on top of it. He dug through the first aid kit searching for some more items. You couldn’t stop watching him, his face was full of concentration. For some reason it just made him look even more handsome than he already was.
“Alright let’s take care of that-what?” He turned around to look at you, catching you just simply staring at him. “Is there something on my face?” He started to wipe his face in all different areas.
You chuckled at how cute he looked trying to get whatever he thought was on his face. “No, nothing is on your face, it's just…” You let the sentence die out. You couldn’t let him know what you were feeling, but you also didn’t want to get hurt….again.
“What’s wrong?” Kirishima got up, taking a seat next to you on the couch, facing your direction. You couldn’t look at him, opting to look down at the hem of your shirt, playing with it between your fingers.
“Why are you doing this?”
“What are you talking about?” You sighed a deep sigh, gathering the courage to look him in the eyes.
“Why are you going this far to help me? Are you just trying to get brownie points for your buddy or something? I already told you my friend is really into your’s, so no need to go this far.” You felt tears spilling from your eyes again. There was nothing more you wanted than to live in this fantasy with Kirishima, but after years of experience you knew how this all would play out. So you might as well put an end to it now.
“You think I’m doing this for Bakugou to get points with your friend?” Kirishima reached a hand out cupping your round cheek in it. His large thumb wiping away your tears, a soft smile on his lips. “You've got this all wrong angel face, Bakugou was my wingman tonight.”
You could only stare at him. Not sure if what you heard him say was correct. There was no way that he was the one to set all this up for you.
“What do you mean?”
“I noticed you the second I walked into Honey’s, you were the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life. And when we sat down those sparkling eyes of yours looked right at me and I was sure my heart stopped.” His thumb was drawing small circles on your tear stained cheek.
“I knew your friend was into Bakugou so while she was busy I told him to ask her out hoping that in some weird way I’d be able to get closer to you.” You could see the small blush forming on his cheeks, he was embarrassed.
“But why? Why would someone like you, be into someone like me? I mean look at me I’m not pretty, I’m tall and huge.” You pulled his hand off of your face. He was everything you could wish for, handsome, funny, caring, protecting, Kirishima had it all. But in your mind you had nothing to offer a man like him.
“I’ve done nothing but look at you. All I see is a woman who is selfless, talented, passionate about her craft, honest, strong and so freaking beautiful it should be a crime.” Kirishma had turned your face back to him, but this time he was much much closer. His crimson eyes stared into your own. You felt like you could get lost in them.
“Kirishima…” No matter how hard you tried the tears wouldn’t stop.
“I don’t care about what your physical appearance looks like, in my eyes you are the most beautiful being out there, angel face.” He brushed a few stray strands of hair from your face. “So please stop crying, okay?”
He pulled you closer to him, burying your face in his chest. One hand rubbing your back while the other was patting your head. He kept humming a song you couldn’t recognize, but the vibrations were lulling you into a deep sleep.
According to your friend, Kirishima was still there holding you as you slept when she came home. He explained everything that happened that night and she told him about your past experiences. Kirishma felt his heart break for you. He wanted nothing more than to protect and give you the love you deserve.
Over the next three years that's exactly what he did. It was your graduation day, you were officially a professional confectionary chef! Finishing your hair you heard your cell phone go off, letting you know you had a text.
Red Knight: I’m downstairs whenever you’re ready, angel face! <3
You: I’ll be right down~ <3
Even after all this time just a simple text from your boyfriend always made your heart flutter and a smile spread across your face. Looking one last time in the mirror, you were in love with the dress you had ordered for your special day. It was a long soft pink dress that was made from lace, ruffles along the bottom of it. With every movement the dress flowed with you, showcasing your body in all the right ways. It had sparkly strawberries embroidered all over it. Something that went along with your profession while also having Kirishima’s favorite fruit on it.
Having him in your life was a blessing. He showed you an unconditional love you never knew could exist. He was patient with you, always there to reassure you that no matter what he loved you to the moon and back when you doubted yourself. He was there when classes and work were getting to be too much, staying up with you at all hours of the night helping you perfect certain dishes that proved to be difficult. And always without fail Kirishima was there to walk you home each and every night. He really was your red knight.
“Hey! Kiri is downstairs I’m gonna go! I’ll see you after the ceremony!” You shouted out to your roommate. You didn’t even wait for a response as you flew out of the door and into the elevator.
The elevator reached the main floor, dinging while sliding it’s doors open. You could already see him standing outside, hands in the pockets of his as he rocked back and forth on his heels, looking around and whistling. His red hair had grown over the years to the point where he could put it in a ponytail, you were obsessed with it. You always admired how he dressed and today was no different. He looked so good in his tan blazer with the sleeves rolled up showing off his defined forearms, and a loose white t-shirt under it. It was paired with a black trousers and black leather shoes.
Pushing the door open you caught Kirishima’s attention, his mouth hung open as you stepped through the door, his eyes roaming around your body.
“Do you like the dress?” You started to fiddle with the dress, nervous as time continued to pass and the man that held your heart hasn't said anything yet.
“Like it?” You let out a yelp as you felt him put his hands on your waist lifting you up off the ground slightly, spinning with you. “It’s freaking amazing! You’re amazing, angel face.”
He placed you back on the ground but never stepped away from you. Kirishima brought his hand up to the side of your neck, leaning down.
“You have no idea how beautiful you are to me, I love you.” He pressed his lips against yours.
There was nothing you wouldn’t change about the day you first met the man of your dreams, not in the slightest.

Jin didn’t even have to turn around once he heard the crash. Temple protruding, he pressed his chalk onto the board, writing out the instructions for the next in-class assignment. Hearing the murmurs behind him and chairs scraped across the vinyl floor, he clenched his teeth and carried on.
Crust
Graham crackers (crushed) - About 2 cups
Sugar… ⅓  cup
Butter (melted)… ⅓ cup
Filling
Unsweetened chocolate...4 ounces
Sugar… 1 ½ cup
Eggs (chilled)… 4
Salted butter (cold and softened)... 2 sticks
Vanilla extract… 1 teaspoon
Topping
Heavy cream…. 1 ½ cup
Powdered sugar… ¼ cup
Semi-sweet chocolate bar (for grating)
A yelp from behind him paused his actions as he finally twirled around. Brows knit, he didn’t even need to guess what happened. You were covered head to toe in cake flour.
“Y/N?” Jin sighed in defeat.
You squealed, trying to cower behind another student. “I-I...Sorry, Seokjin-nim. I–”
“Don’t even bother,” he interrupted, rubbing his temples. “Go clean up and come back to class.”
Your shoulder slumped, and without a word, you ran out of the classroom. He gave a dubious look to the remainder of the class. “C’mon, clean that up, and we’ll start when Y/N returns.”
Jin considered himself a decent instructor, heck he was one of the best culinary chef’s out there. But unfortunately, in the economy's state, he had to close his restaurant and settle on teaching basic cooking classes. That was all well and good, but the only job available had been at a small, unknown culinary school. So desperate for students, they’d admit anyone. And therein lies the problem: You.
You weren’t the best cook...okay, that was being polite. You were a horrendous cook, and it was a miracle your place hadn’t burned down from all the cooking accidents you managed to do. Still, you had a passion for cooking, and your dream of becoming one of the best pastry chefs in Seoul would someday come true.
Jin didn’t hold his breath. On the first day of class, you managed to break an oven, the mixing bowl, and burn the inside of a saute pan. A saute pan?! There wasn’t anything in it!
But Jin gave you the benefit of the doubt. It was your first day, and nerves were high.
Except it happened every single day after that: broken bowls and equipment, tripping over the shock mats, and burning yourself on the stove. It never failed. Jin would have just sucked it up to you being a klutz, but on top of it all, your cooking sucked. There wasn't a day that went by where he’d think about the creme brulee you destroyed. Again, how did you manage torching the surface, and it was raw?
You walked back into the classroom, freshly changed into a new chef’s jacket and pants, and stood at your station. You winced seeing Jin’s eyes bore into you, and you wanted nothing more for the floor to swallow you up.
“Now that the break is over, we can focus on the lesson at hand,” he began, pointing to the board. “Today we’ll be making French silk pie. A complex dish due to the fact it’s not baked and the eggs will be raw. Now, to start, we’ll make the crust.”
The students got to work getting the necessary ingredients and making the pie crusts. Only whispers were heard throughout the kitchen. Jin walked around, giving small tips of advice as he checked the students' progress.
“Make sure the graham crackers are crumbly, not too chunky or fine; the texture should be there. Perfect.”
He smiled at each student as he went about only stopping at you with a frown. Somehow you were having trouble with the food processor. “Y/N? Something wrong?”
You looked up in surprise, cheeks a bright red. “No, Seokjin-nim, just fixing it,” you laughed nervously.
He queried with a brow stepping closer. “Maybe I can help.” He began assessing the processor looking for any jams. “It looks alright. Nothing seems out of place–”
He spoke too soon.
You decided pressing the button without the top secured was the best idea. With a roar, graham crackers and butter flew out coating you and Jin. The class gasped. Jin let out a depressing noise and wiped the gunk from his face.
“Y/N, stay after class.”
Tumblr media
After cleaning up yet another mess, you leaned against the station wanting to bite your nails. Class had ended not too long ago, and it was now empty. Jin instructed you to wait while he went to his office. Your leg shook as you tried to distract your thoughts.
It wasn’t that bad, right?
You nearly jumped out of your skin as Jin entered the classroom, folder under his arm. He looked like he aged a few years in the course of a few hours. With a groan, he set the folder down beside you. You started from the folder to him curiously.
“Know what that is?" he inquired.
You shook your head. Jin opened the folder revealing your picture with your name across the page. “It’s your progress report for the semester,” he explained, flipping through the pages. “They want me to fail you.”
Your heart sank as you looked at all the failed marks in each of your classes. Lip trembling, you stifled a whimper as he continued.
“However, I was able to get you one last chance,” he paused, staring at the look of surprise on your face. “As you know, we have a mock service at the end of the week. If you don’t impress the staff, they will fail you, and I can’t do anything about it if it comes to that decision.”
Jin slammed the folder shut, giving you a hard stare, though it softened after a moment. “You’re assigned to desserts. Create something edible, and they’ll pass you for the semester.”
You tugged at your apron, twisting it in your hands. “B-But, what should I do?”
He shrugged, picking the folder up and walked towards the door. “Try not to suck,” he teased before exiting.
You sat there dumbfounded as the news sank in. This mock service could be the end of your culinary career. You had two choices, cry and mope about the situation or put on your big girl pants and kick this assignment's ass. You needed to impress the staff and damn it; you weren’t going to fail.
“Fuck, what am I gonna make?” You sat back down, pondering over the types of desserts you could make. Grabbing the books on the shelf, you flipped through, studying each one.
“Red velvet...no...Lemon meringue...yuck no...Chocolate chip cookies….what am I five?”
Grunting in frustration, you poured over the books filled with millions of recipes until the early hours of the morning.
Jin found you the next day, drool pooling on one of the books. He walked over, smirking at your sleeping form, impressed to see you so determined to pass. He peeked at your notes curiously.
“Oh, Y/N,” he whispered, noticing your chef’s hat had fallen over your eyes, exposing your hair, the few tresses tumbling out to rest on your neck. His ears pinked as he brushed the hair aside, causing you to shift and mumble in your sleep.
Jin stepped back, afraid he’d wake you. He noticed a french cookbook open and grabbed a highlighter. With a grin, he circled one of the recipes and tiptoed back up to the front by the lights.
He cleared his throat, flipping on the switch. “Y/N? Wake up. Class is about to start.”
You yelped, jumping out your seat and looked around in bewilderment. “Oh my gosh! I-I stayed here all night!” You covered your face in embarrassment. “I’m sorry, Seokjin-nim. I didn’t mean to.”
Jin hid his smile and put on a neutral expression. “It’s fine. Just be mindful next time.” He walked over, looking at your workspace. “What are you working on?”
You tried to clean up the mess hastily with a snort. “Ah, just something for the mock service, nothing more.”
“Oh? What do you plan on making?” He inquired.
“I–” You glanced down at the scribbles, papers laid askew. You hadn’t figured out what you were going to make! Jin tapped his foot impatiently.
“Well–”
There. Right on the page circled in yellow. “Macarons!” you blurted out.
Jin feigned surprise. “Macarons? Interesting. That’s gonna be a challenge. If done right, they’ll be delicious.”
You felt flustered by his smile, averting your gaze. “You think I can do it?”
Not a chance in hell. Jin's smile widened, giving you a small pat on the shoulder. “Put your mind to it and study hard. I’m positive you can do it.” He settled against the station tapping his chin. “The problem is you’re too hard on yourself. You need to gain some confidence. Cooking is, by the bare bones, a science; equal and opposite reactions, molecules fusing, you get the gist. However, passion makes it come alive.”
His eyes twinkled as he turned to stare at you. “You have it inside, just got to find a way to let it emerge.”
You bit down on your lip as you lifted your head to see him staring. Your gaze held until the distant sounds of culinary students grew louder. Jin laughed as he walked to the board. He started to write out the assignment pausing for just a moment. “I’m sure you’ll figure it out, Y/N. I’m rooting for you.”
Now it was your time to get embarrassed. You cleaned up your station, putting the books back on their respective shelves just as the classroom filled.
Class went by in a blur; your mind was elsewhere. You blurted out the first thing that came to your mind. Now you had to figure out how to make these macarons look and taste spectacular. Your grade depended on it.
After the last students filtered out, only you and Jin remained. He packed his bag, watching as you looked over the recipe, taking notes as you went along.
He smiled to himself, seeing how determined you were to pass. He walked over, slinging the strap over his shoulder.
“You know,” he began as you sat up from your book to give him your full attention, “a good tip is to separate the egg whites and let them get to room temperature in a ventilated bowl for a bit.” He winked with a shrug. “Just a thought. Good luck.”
You chewed your pen cap nodding. A smile formed as you felt your mood lighten. “Thank you, Seokjin-nim. That helps. Have a good night.”
“Good night, Y/N.” He waved, leaving you in class alone to think.
You set to work laying out all the ingredients. With a sigh, you glanced at them, ready for war. Rolling up your sleeves, you put on your war face.
“Alright, let’s kick some ass!”
You sobbed on the floor, cheeks covered in flour and sugar. It shouldn’t have been that hard. But after the explosion of flour and you dropped the batter on the floor, all seemed lost. You felt like you’d been defeated until Jin’s face crossed our mind. His smile and reassurance. He was rooting on you to pass. He didn’t want to have you fail out of school. Growling in frustration, you got up, clenching your fists and slamming them on the tabletop.
“Screw this. I’m gonna pass this class!”

The night of the mock service had arrived. The kitchen buzzed with excitement as the students prepared their dishes for the guests. Ingredients prepped, utensils laid out, it was now or never. You entered the kitchen, securing your apron around your waist and headed over to the pastry section. There was only one other person with you, assigned to the ice cream.
Giving a quick hello, you took your premade batter and scooped it into a piping bag. As you worked on piping small circles onto the baking sheets, you barely noticed Jin walking in to wish everyone well. He stopped by your counter with a nod.
“Hello, Y/N. Everything all set?”
You looked up briefly, still focused on your task. “Hi, Seokjin-nim. My filling is already made, just got to bake the cookies.”
Jin nodded in approval, the slight worry at the back of his mind calming as he saw your expression. You seemed so determined to prove everyone wrong. He cleared his throat with an abrupt appearance. “Ahem, yes. Well, good luck. I’ll be out there with other department heads. Just stay confident when you’re introducing your dish.”
He patted you on the arm and scurried out the kitchen. You had no time to consider what his words and actions meant, not when so much work had to be done. You placed the six baking sheets into the oven, still worrying about the amount you had to make. The plan was to make a few and to be set aside for the department heads and make the others as the rest of the guests ordered them.
The night rolled on as other students cooked their dishes, going out into the dining room once they presented their meal. They’d get a score and walk back in to continue service. Dinner service crept by slowly making you anxious, bouncing on the soles of your shoes. As dirty dishes cleared and dessert utensils staged, you watched as the plates of macarons were served to the main table. With a gulp, you walked out, wringing your apron between your fingers. You could have sworn you heard your heart beating over the soft melodies coming from the speakers.
It felt like an episode of Iron Chef.
Jin looked around at the dishes. “Y/L/N Y/N, please explain to us what you’ve created for dessert tonight.”
You gave a bow, stretching a small smile across your face. “G-Good evening. Tonight, I wanted to tie the themes of this evening's meals together with this dessert. With how rich the dishes were tonight, I thought it would be better to end with something light,” you explained as the jitters slowly disappeared. “I’ve made for you a vanilla bean macaron with strawberry cheesecake filling. You can taste the vanilla beans in the cookies to give you more of a woody, smoky flavor that plays well with the strawberries. I pureed the fruit but added a few chunkier pieces to give it texture.” You took a breath as no traces of nerves crossed your face. “The drizzle was made with powdered sugar to add just a dash of sweetness. I hope you enjoy it.”
Jin held back his smile as he observed you. “Thank Y/N. We’ll make sure to enjoy this.”
You bowed once more and walked back into the kitchen. As the doors swung close behind you, you let out a massive sigh making everyone laugh. You grinned, heading back over to the desserts. The night had yet to end.
It seemed like a successful mock service. Jin came in the back to congratulate them all as everyone cleaned up the kitchen. As he entered, everyone stopped to see what he would say.
“Your grades will be up on Monday,” he said over the loud groan. He held up his hands. “Don’t shoot the messenger. Again, we were very impressed with everyone. Great job tonight.” He watched over the crowd seeing you chatting with a few of the students, a smile on your face. Biting his lip, he wanted to walk over, but instead walked back into the dining room, still embarrassed.
Like always, you were the last to clean your area, but that was alright. The quietness of the kitchen always soothed your nerves. You hummed, wiping down the counters with the sanitizer, almost finished. Surprised, you noticed some extra filling in one of the bowls. Everyone, well, your colleagues, complimented you on how amazing it tasted. To be honest, you only had a small taste before putting the macarons together. You took your finger and swirled some filling on the digit, bringing it up to your lips. You licked it clean off with a soft moan.
“Damn, that is good.”
A noise from behind made you jump as you looked over to see Jin standing in the doorway. You blushed profusely, trying to cover your hands. “Ah, S-Seokjin-nim! I didn’t realize anyone was still here!”
Jin gulped softly, placing his hands in front of him on the counter, feeling himself heat up. He cursed, trying to think of anything, but what he saw: your lips wrapped around your finger divulging in the sweet filling, had him stopped in his tracks.
“I...ahem...came back to lock up,” he explained, the strain in his voice. His eyes bore into yours as you glanced away.
“Oh! I’m just about done. I’m sorry for making you wait.” You began wrapping the filling to put back in the cooler.
Jin chuckled, rubbing the back of his head, playing with the hair that tickled his neck. “Please don’t rush. Take your time.” He closed the distance, standing on the opposite side of the counter. “I wanted to talk to you about your dessert.”
You dropped the paper towel as you blinked up at him. “B-But I thought grades wouldn’t be up until Monday.”
He drummed his fingers on the counter and shrugged. “Aren’t you a little curious about what they said?”
You fiddled with the utensils biting your bottom lip. “I mean, yeah. I’m scared about failing. Even more worried, they hated it.” Your eyes met his with hope. “H-How did you like it?”
Jin leaned forwards beckoning you to come close with a curled finger. “You want to know?”
Your head bobbed eagerly. “Yes. Please Seokjin-nim, I wanna know.”
Being this close to him, you noticed the flicks of hazel in his eyes, the fullness of his lips—that chiseled face. Wait, why were you ogling your instructor?! You gulped softly as his eyes lingered on your lips, then back up to your eyes.
“I–”
Loved it.
“Hated it,” he replied.
You felt the air deflate from your lungs as your jaw dropped. Eyes bulging, someone could have knocked you over with a wooden spoon. He looked so relaxed at your expression, still staring. He hated it?! But why? How? It was the best thing you made, and it was edible?! Your lip trembled as the lump in your throat formed.
Jin burst into a fit of giggles, only making you even more confused and suddenly angry. He gasped through the tears, broad shoulder shaking.
“You should see your face, Y/N! I need a picture.”
You huffed balling your fists. “I’d love to know what the joke is, Seokjin-nim.”
He wiped the tears away, chuckling softly. Coughing, he finally was able to calm down. “That was rude. Forgive me. I couldn’t help it.” He smiled brightly. “I’m just not a fan of flavored strawberry foods.”
You whimpered, collapsing against the counter as a sob wrecked your form. You wailed as all the emotions and stressed pent up from the week came crashing down. Jin ran over to the other side, wrapping you in a hug. Another squeak passed your lips as warmth engulfed you. He rested his chin on the top of your head.
“Please don’t cry Y/N. I-I don’t want to be the cause of any tears you shed. Please.”
This was unexpected. Your tears stopped as you felt nervous in his arms, perplexed even. Why was he holding you? Still, it was nice to be carried like this, even if he was your instructor.
You wiggled in his arms, looking up at him. A scowl twisted on your face. “That wasn’t very nice, Seokjin-nim.”
He brought his thumb up to wipe the stray tears. “I’m an idiot. Can you forgive me?”
You gave him a teary smile and nodded. “I couldn’t stay mad at you if I tried.”
He grinned, still holding you. “Why is that?”
“I like you,” you blurted out, cheeks reddened. Crap, he wasn’t supposed to know that.
Now it was his turn to turn red. He grinned, bopping you on the nose gently. “That makes two of us. I like you too,” he said shyly.
Your mouth gaped open. “Seokjin-nim–”
“Call me Jin, Y/N,” he ordered, eyes glittered with mischief.
You blushed once more with a giggle. “Okay, Jin.”
He laughed, pulling you at arm’s length to hold your hand. “You’re gonna pass. And to celebrate, I’m taking you out tomorrow. Sounds good?”
You stood on your tiptoes and gave him a gentle peck on the cheek. “Sounds sweet.”

Looking into The Holiday Express Update for CRK!
Jesus Christ, did this update already receive its bit of backlash for this being a “mystery on a train” story that lacks the little detective herself
Tumblr media
Rest in peace, in peace Walnut Cookie. It is not your time yet.
Tumblr media
The train station is getting a new look for the holidays! It’s about time it gets a moment of attention!
Tumblr media
Stardust getting another skin is iffy, but I adore Milky Way’s and Space Doughnut’s costumes! They’re Special rarity however, so you might have to make it a priority to get all three of them before they’re gone!
Tumblr media
The Story Tickets are pretty self-explanatory, but First Class Tickets are possibly just for Hard Mode. This story is NOT a Special Episode by the way, so make sure you have the whole story done for the records before the event is over
Tumblr media
Oof, he’s not going to be spared from the fandom’s ire about him being another twink
Tumblr media
Old Jolly has been got. This seems like a job for one cookie, but she doesn’t seem to be around right now. Such a shame. Oh hey, Almond Cookie.
Tumblr media
The big score for me, Linzer Cookie. I’m already seeing you lads wanting her to be evil or be akin to Affogato. Come on now, didn’t we just have Affogato 2 two updates ago lol. Her event runs similarly to Twizzly, which is especially humorous since Linzer shares her VA.
Tumblr media
Can we get Frost Queen a costume now please?
Tumblr media
The event itself could be fun, I’m curious to see how it goes and hopefully the fandom eases up on these two for not being Roguefort or Walnut.
———————————————————————
You took it upon yourself to try and figure out the culprit among the passengers, if only Almond Cookie were here on the train with you, things would probably go smoother with an extra set of hands and eyes on the scene.
Some of the passengers…might have gotten a little carried away when they see it’s you leading the investigation.
Creme Brulee Cookie: I will do my best to help you with the investigation..but first, I want you to listen to a song of mine, one I haven’t let anyone else hear yet. It will be for your listening only…
Linzer Cookie: What an interesting turn~ The handsome/beautiful upcoming detective approaching the mysterious, but star novelist for their first step in the mystery~! Will this novelist be able to aid the detective? Do these two have a connection to each other? Could love even bloom between the two~?
(You had…barely started to ask her things before Linzer buried her head in her notebook, writing away as she maintained eye contact with the you)
