more "domestic" V1 au thoughts
V1's parents are military, and they trained V1 since it was young but neither party ever formed a bond/connection
V2 is the abandoned kid (abandoned via left at a building and the family moved away) of the V-Series family that V1 discovers later in life (highschool idk seems likely) and they become part-siblings again after V1 schools V2 and steals his arms (y'know, Knucklebuster and Whiplash) but doesn't tell V2 it kept them because those arms are sick as fuck why would it let V2 know
Mirage isn't related to either of them at all and is bff's with V2 (maybe more but y'know it's an open book)

I might get hate for this but I wanna throw thoughts on TMNT villains.
Rise has the scariest Krang
2012 has the scariest Shredder
In my opinion the krang had more of a comedic role in 2012. Were they intimidating? Yes. But I could not take them seriously when they talked. "Kraang must go to this place at the designated time." Ya get the gist. Shredder on the other hand though. That man constantly hunted down the turtles and their friends and family. He definitely didn't love his daughter. That man was the reason Leo was in a coma. Shredder managed to kill Splinter! He scares me.
Now onto Rise. I know you may be saying, "But Happy! Shredder was a literal demon in Rise." First off, man makes a deal with a powerful/magical being and gets stuck for like forever in the form of a monster, only to be free by a parent/child team frees him by destroying the monster trapping him. The plot is similar to Brave. Not that scary when you find out the poor guy was trapped in there. Secondly, who gave him the armor? Who's dead body created all of Yokai-kind? The Krang. Shredder is not that scary when you find out who made the armor that made him scary. Also! They were able to take over the entire world in another timeline! 12!Kraang couldn't keep a hold of NYC for 3 months!
So in short 12!Shredder is scarier than Rise and vice versa with the Krang

I'm so terribly lost... How do i.. how do i put this
I'm concerned that if the new Fallout show personifies Vault Boy in any sentient way, that I will lose all credibility in my own personified design as I've been writing my own ideas about him as a character and in his own TV show for several years now, bouncing my ideas off of fans and off of other writers to make sure it's not absolutely fucking stupid
But that's all been behind closed doors so I can still create the wonderful story i want through my show! What if the new fallout show just rips away any opportunity for my animated web series still in production by attempting to establish Vault Boy as a proper character, and a shittily made one at that, because it's made by Todd Howard?
I'd like to think I'm not Todd Howard, so my work is infinitely better, because anyone else's would be. But I just heard news of the primary ghoul character in their show being known as "THE GHOUL" copyright etc etc and I've never felt so terrified for the IP of anything in my LIFE.
I want to make my show, but it is far from production ready yet despite having had years in the making because those years were my ass in highschool, now in college, and I do not have time to be pouring 24/7 into it. But if they try to overwrite shit, especially from New Vegas where my show is based and lovingly uses the lore for like a true fan would, whereas they are.. well.. Bethesda and have included Mr House in their casting list, implying the worst case scenario? I'm going to be fucking devastated.
I hate to make it all about me, because so many people are devastated as well, but I can't help but feel that it's even more personal for me because I've spent years, genuine actual years, writing and creating and learning the inside out of this character only for Todd Howard to swoop in and potentially replace whatever idea in my head I have of him, and the public's opinion of him, to a bunch of dumb, offensive or boring stereotypes or essentially fucking styrofoam of a character. Do you understand?
I wonder if perhaps I should start rewriting my scripts into fic form first, and start uploading them, and then work on the show once it's fully uploaded so that I have a more easily learnable root. People will know I was here before the show? Perhaps I am also catastrophizing, but if there's one thing i've learned, Todd Howard makes it justified. And if he thinks the writing team is "just genius" for what they did, I have no doubts that I'm going to wish i was never born if I don't fucking do something NOW.

Art Video Stuffs
I have been doing a lot of script writing lately!
Some of my art process footage has been sitting around for a long time, but have lacked ideas for what to put on top of them. I never wanted to get into art commentary, or essay videos, the amount of research needed to do anyone justice is too much for it to still be fun for me. Plus, reality sucks, so, I need something fun.
What to put as voice over for my art has had me stumped for a long time. Long term projects have always evaded to me, I grew up a rusher, only recently being able to return to previous projects without issue. This year has mostly been long term projects. Those who say you grow the most when uncomfortable are right.
All that to say, I am about four scripts in to a five script goal. These are short crappy stories about the art's subject, whether direct or loosely based. Art videos are something I've always wanted to do, but I have always been worried about sustainability. It feels like I'm striking a good balance with my current format. I work as a graphic designer, so my minimum screen time is about eight hours. Coming home to do more creative can be difficult, y'know?

Bad Apple Brain thoughts...
Warning: Fighting, descriptions, etc.
The idea starts with Ivy as the starter. She's writing when she hears something and turns, before she knows it, she falls into the void and the song starts.
"Ever on and on, I continue circling... With nothing but my hate and the carousel of agony!" It cuts to Marguerite laughing while drinking tea with Hollyhock when her cup drops and the scene cuts. "Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing and suddenly I see that I can't break free, I'm..." It shows Lilium holding her chest as her soul glows and she holds it out but then it cracks and chains grasp her wings and soul.
"Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity... With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony." Belladonna shows up as she spins and frees her hair out of a ponytail. "To tell me who I am! Who I was! Uncertainty enveloping my mind." It shows Eucalyptus crossing her arms when she looks at the camera and turns and she fixes her mask and walks. "Till I can't break free and..."
"Maybe it's a dream, maybe nothing else is real... But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel." It shows Willow admiring a sword and cleaning it. "So I'm tired of all the pain, all the misery inside and I wish I could live feeling nothing but the night..." The camera pans over to Primrose who is mending some clothes, she perks up and smiles.
"You could tell me what to say, you could tell me where to go... But I doubt that I would care, and my heart would never know." It shows Blossom and Heliconia on their ship ordering their respective crews before talking. "If I make another move, there'll be no more turning back... Because everything would change, and it all would fade to black!" Celadine sighs as she looks at Clemensia. Clemensia smiles as they join hands and then points off somewhere.
"Will tomorrow ever come? Will I make it through the night? Will there ever be a place for the broken in the light?" It shows Floryn humming as she opens one book, and uses her magic to open another, her fingers graze over the pages before she turns as the scene cuts. "Am I hurting? Am I sad? Should I stay or should I go? I've forgotten how to tell, did I ever even know?" It shows Ione and Fleur being freed from their shackles and joining hands before they smile at the camera.
"Can I take another step? I've done everything I can... All the people that I see, they will never understand." It shows Abelia reaching for Spirea before she hesitates and pulls her hand back. "If I find a way to change, if I step into the light then I'll never be the same and it all will fade to white..." It shows Spirea sighing before she turns back to Abelia and walks over to her as the scene fades.
It then cuts to Carnation, Mimosa, and Primula dancing together as she beat goes on. Marigold smiles and gestures away from her. Hepatica and Calanth look over as their forms change a bit and then they gesture towards another place.
"Ever on and on, I continue circling.... With nothing but my hate and the carousel of agony!" It shows Bluebell sitting in a field while Orchid and Daffodil clean up around together. She looks up from her book as a petal falls into her book. "Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing... And suddenly I see that I can't break free, I'm!" Marigold dances as a transition as Lisianthus is walking when Achilla bumps her shoulder with hers and they smile.
"Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity... With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony!" It shows Wisteria humming as she slowly closes her umbrella and spins it on her hand as it transitions to someone else. "To tell me who I am! Who I was! Uncertainty enveloping my mind... Till I can't break free and-" It shows Bellona walking as Olearia grabs onto her arm and they walk together. The scene cuts.
"Maybe it's a dream, maybe nothing else is real... But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel!" It shows Ivy again writing something when she drops her pen and she reaches for it but then she stumbles and falls into water and then... So I'm tired of all the pain, all the misery inside and I wish I could live feeling nothing but the night..." It shows Hibiscus appearing and she carefully begins to push Ivy back up towards the surface.
"You could tell me what to say, you could tell me where to go... But I doubt that I would care, and my heart would never know!" It shows Hibiscus getting Ivy to the surface before it fades. "If I make another move, there'll be no more turning back Because everything would change, and it all would fade to black..." It shows Ivy falling as the AUs flow past her like water and then everything turns black.
"If I make another move, if I take another step... Then it all would fall apart there'd be nothing of me left..." It shows Chamomile and Freesia sighing as they close their eyes and put on their masks. "If I'm crying in the wind, if I'm crying in the night...Will there ever be a way? Will my heart return to white?" It shows Crocus and Nerium fighting as they move quickly and meticulously. "Can you tell me who you are? Can you tell me where I am? I've forgotten how to see...I've forgotten if I can..." It shows Ivy reaching towards a pair of skeletons as they fade into the dark. She feels her vision blur.
"If I opened up my eyes, there'd be no more going back..." It shows Ivy shooting up out of bed in blearly confusion.
"'Cause I'd throw it all away and it all would fade to black..."

one hand i absolutely do not want more creators to interact with tumblr at all bc as a community it is very much its own thing but. sometimes i wish they knew that a lot of their community is not nearly as negative as twitter/reddit and there are plenty of people capable of being normal about roleplay and who wont harass ccs for playing fictional characters who arent perfect and dont always make 100% correct decisions
