One last...One last review...before...*gasp for air*...it all fall into the pit of daily pass...*dramatically fall into the ground*

Before Angel is Dead:
He held a gun to your head, you froze, fearful for your life. Even though it wasn't your first time having a gun to your head, I mean, hey, it's Pandora, it was a first for the person holding, the gun. "Heya pumpkin, just do what I say and I might not blow your head off, okay?"
Kept you around for a little bit, trying to think of everything and anything he could do to kill you. He honestly kept you on a little leash while he was talking to the Vault hunters, talking to them about how he was breaking your spirit, keeping you on a leash before he would kill you.
Of course, he couldn't decide on how to kill you, so you stayed around a little bit. He would try lines on you and focus on you when he insults the Vault hunters through the echo.
Angel may try to talk to you, but even she can see a lost cause and gives up trying to help you escape. You don't know that she is Jack's daughter, just that she is close to Jack.
Of course, mentioning Angel to him, even before her death, would lead to a meltdown from him, a temper tantrum of sorts where he threatens you, pushes you against the wall and says: "I guess I did figure out how I want you to die. Slowly."
You learned all to quickly that if he threatened you, he meant it. You learned it the hard way and your ribs are still broken to this day, seeing as he wouldn't and won't help you with any injuries you incur from provoking his wrath.
He shoves the butt of his gun into your thoat. If you won't speak to him, or laugh at his jokes, maybe you shouldn't be given the option to speak.
At some point, he starts relying in that ego boost you give him, not sure when, although it could be around the time the vault hunters take over Opportunity.
"Ol' balloon-tits is still holdin' a grudge against me, huh? Don't get me wrong, I understand it -- once you've eaten prime rib for free, it's hard to go back to suckin' down hamburgers for cash. If you know what I'm talking about." He looks over at you with a confused expression in your face. He sighs and rolls his eyes. He doesn't know why he wants to explain it to you, but he does anyway. "I'm talkin' about dicks."
After Angel is dead:
All of Hyperion was mess from jack's wrath, you could hear him shooting and wreaking things just for being in his way, you could hear his footsteps getting closer and louder. He shoves open the doors and looks at you. You YOU.
He looks at you and he recognizes a part of you, that he loves you, in some, sick, twisted form of the word. I mean, the look on your face isn't good for a kid to have, so he might have to teach you not look that way at your dad, after all, You're his little angel!
He'll hit you if you say that you aren't Angel, he'll never shoot you, no no no no, but he will use force to remind you that you're angel.
Prepare to be hurt, like HURT, he will be one of the few that is willing to have a blank doll kid in their life. If it means you won't escape, does it really matter if you don't sound excited? Or that you'll only look at him with a vacant expression, the bloodshot eyes leading him to suspect that you've been crying all night? Well that just means you missed him!
In the end, you'll understand that you took the place of Angel in his heart, he'll buy you pretty dresses that he wished Angel could wear, since you're his little daughter, they should fit you just perfectly.

Okay so two questions about Fallen Prince:
1.what is the personality of obsidian crow? Like form the playlist we know he is happy with his existence but what else?
2.how can the "phantom" obsidian crow can be defeated? Like he cant be transformed back to Jack becaise they are two seperate entities at this point and he has the combined magic of all four tainted coaches and probably a bit of Jack's so brute force most likely wont work. Like the only likely senerio is Jack trying to absorb him again but gain control.
For the first question: Obsidian Crow is like a messed up fusion between Jack Rose and Night Swan’s magic that was used to corrupt the coaches. He is happy with his existence the first time we see him because for Jack, he did it; he rescued his friends and stopped his mother. I even imagined during the final verse’s of Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, where Obsidian Crow appears, for him to be mocking his mother with her own dance style before Jack regains enough of himself to lock himself away. Here is where things go wrong for Jack.
Since Obsidian Crow is an unstable combination of Jack and Night Swan’s magic, he’s torn between two sides; the Jack who wants to keep his friends safe and the magic who wants to go out there and make the Dancverse his own “spotlight”. At the beginning, when the coaches find him, Jack is still able to have influence over Obsidian Crow in that he needs to STAY AWAY and remain locked in his own prison. And a lot of that comes out as him verbally attacking his friends (To Sara: “Well, maybe if someone was a little more confident in their dancing, I wouldn’t have to save you and be stuck like this!”). It gets to a point where, the more the coaches try to get him to come back, the more the Night Swan side influences him that maybe he should get out…
I should clarify that while he is technically made through Night Swan’s magic being absorbed into her son, Obsidian Crow is NOT under Night Swan’s control. The best way I could describe him is that he’s all of Jack’s worst traits — hence him blowing up at Sara — and somehow being the dancer he “thought” his mother wanted.
For question two: That is basically the outline of how I planned for them to beat Phantom Obsidian Crow. Without Jack, he is essentially just Night Swan’s influence taken from. Because he is also Jack’s worst traits, I imagine him having a whole scene of him learning to accept the worst parts of himself with the help of his friends.

So very thorough when it comes to aftercare. Anything you need is always within reach and ready to be given to you. He’s always prepared, after all he makes impeccable notes on just about everything.

w / walk of shame : well, yes. they both HAVE done a walk of shame, considering they don't live together and they fuck too much for their own good. back in the olden days it was just connor having to go back to the couch without waking jack up, now they've got to go across town. you don't know what you have until it's gone, ig.

You know what, let's go with the egos since I've talked at length about the DSMP tonight, and frankly, with how my dormant interest in the JSE community seems to finally be breaking out of its slumber, I deserve to go off about at least one of our beloved boys. And of course, with him basically knocking the Bastard off his pedestal as my favorite ego, I'm going to talk about Chase. Because goddamn, do I love him.
For a character whose introductory (and originally only planned) video was a Dude Perfect parody, he has developed into such a beloved character through the creativity and love of the community that it led to Seán himself designating him as the protagonist for the story he wishes to create. And honestly, while Anti had already shown up thrice, and Henrik had a couple videos, I truly think it was Chase that altered both the community's and Seán's perspective of the egos forever. While theories, fics, and fanart had bloomed during each of Anti's appearances, it wasn't until Chase appeared that the community's love for the egos skyrocketed. We had a character we could either use to confront or as a victim for Anti (without feeling weird about writing Jack), and with his advent came the rise of other ego content as well. Henrik and Jackie got more time in the spotlight, Marvin got his name, the Summer Antipocalypse and Kill JSE exploded, and JJ arrived to complete the canon set.
Over the five years I've written Chase, he's developed into such an fascinating, integral character for me. He's one of the characters I can say with certainly has helped me develop as a writer, and I don't think I'll ever be able to truly explain how important he is to me to someone who wasn't there to witness the journey. I'm so excited for whatever Seán and Magpie have planned for his story, and even if it doesn't fit my preconceived notions of his character, well--that's what AUs and the worlds of all the stories I've created before are for. No matter what, I will always hold a piece of him in my heart. 💚
(And hey, if anything I wrote happens to become canon, well... needless to say I will lose my shit. /lh)
