My loyal scientists, do you uh, remember this? Which I literally posted this morning? Yeah, I had an art/design idea for a "Whole" (Or soul, I guess? Since this is Chonny Jash HMS inspired?) Jekyll, so I immediately drew it before my mind could try to incinerate the idea.
Outfits a combination of Jekyll and Hyde's mind clothes. His hair is a bit lighter than Jekyll's and he's got green eyes with a red glint. Red and green strings "tether" him to each half. My boy has seen the horrors. He holds permanent residence deeper in the mind scape and only occasionally talks with mind Lanyon and Frankenstein, otherwise spending his time running/hiding from the nightmares and trying to bring his split halves back together (which never seems to work, but he refuses to give up). He gets glimpses of the real world through both Jekyll and Hyde's eyes very often, but can't seem to take control of the body, take residence of mirrors/shadows, or make himself heard by the other two. But yeah, he's basically the closest to pre-potion Jekyll but, ya know, going through it.
Anyway yeah, accidental new OC ig 💀 AND 2 ART POSTS IN A DAY 🗣️🗣️ gaining a vague fic idea for this but also I REALLY shouldn't lmao

Currently Watching: I haven’t watched anything in a while, unfortunately. The last thing I watched was the Netflix version of Avatar the Last Airbender. Nowadays, I just watched animatics.

OF COURSE!! It's probably just gonna be a bunch of random stuff lmao, So! starting off:
Jekyll and Hyde come to find that Elias is surprisingly romantic. Pairing the fact that Jekyll believed that Lanyon wasn't even really capable of romantic love with the fear Lanyon had with falling for anyone or becoming vulnerable, it makes sense that Elias would be all that vulnerability. When Lanyon's out and about shopping, or just strolling by stores, Elias will point out things he thinks Jekyll and/or Hyde would like and will annoy Lanyon into buying it. Eventually, there are things Lanyon will see himself and just get without Elias's pestering.
Sometimes Elias lets Rachel do his hair while they talk (usually when Jekyll is too busy, or when Hyde's already run off for the night.) She enjoys it quite a bit, and it gives Elias the ability to ask her for advice on things (and it lets him eat more of her cookies, but that's not the MAIN reason) it's nice for Lanyon sometimes too, because he can get Elias to ask about things that he's having trouble with with less embarrassment.
Elias actually cares about all the doctory stuff Lanyon learned (and mostly forgot) from University. When around, he acts as a sort of nurse for the Society. He even got a run down on some of the medicinal potions Jekyll and Ito keep stocked so he knows what to use in certain situations.
He strives for approval and any words of affirmation, sometimes going a bit out of his way just to get that jolt of happiness when someone gives him any sort of praise. Elias receiving said praise makes Lanyon quite jealous, since he, of course, wishes it could be directed at him for once. He denies the feeling, but that doesn't stop the growing disdain he feels towards Elias.
Lanyon and Elias lowkey act like rivals most the time. You thought Hyde was annoying towards Jekyll? Well at least they mostly got along for ~2 years. Lanyon and Elias though? half the time they're just trying to one up each other. But! they certainly have their moments where they get along. Lanyon eventually finds that it's easier to be more honest with Elias, and sometimes they do have little heart to hearts, but also these two dramatic bastards do tend to annoy tf out of each other. Elias tends to fluster Lanyon quite often, usually going on about Jekyll and/or Hyde in constant yearning. Eventually Lanyon gets used to it and gets less visibly flustered, mainly because he was sick of all the questions he got.
Sliding in another little Hyde HC I have, Elias likes listening to Hyde play the piano. Like, a lot. He'll sit on the little bench all love struck. Same goes for Jekyll's singing, though usually Lanyon has to coax that out of him (though Elias can with enough pleading, or making him flustered enough)
they'll also occasionally dance! Jekyll and Lanyon tend more towards the usual waltzes, while Hyde and Elias do more swing type stuff (Elias can't keep up super well, but he really enjoys it. Hyde will slow down justt a bit, sometimes) additionally, Jekyll and Elias would also do waltzy type stuff, while Hyde and Lanyon would go slow for a bit until Hyde gets too antsy and pulls more of that playfulness out of Lanyon, going a bit more wild.

"Oh, right!" Jekyll placed both hands on the girl’s shoulders. “Jasper, I want you to meet my daughter; Anne-Marie Jekyll. Annie here is our musician and the Society’s production designer. Half of the Lodgers wouldn’t even know how to present their experiments to a wider audience without her input!”
Jekyll stood straighter as he said this. His chest out and a proud smile wormed its way onto his face. Anne-Marie was smiling as she bowed in greeting, but Jasper could see the hint of redness on her cheeks.
Oh, this was his daughter.
Jasper looked between them.

Oh Gosh, no. Anything but Hyde with a Kazoo. Who the heck gave him a kazoo? RACHEL!

Some stupid ass digital Hyde doodles bc I CAN'T ESCAPE HIM.
Anyways, heres him playing the Kazoo, specifically the Kazoo part of Chemical Overreaction/Compound Fracture bc that song is literally so him, ESPECIALLY the Kazoo part. He'd be a menace with a kazoo, and would probably have some giant hidden stash bc of how often they get snatched from him when he's being especially annoying.

One day when Glass Scientists becomes an animated series, I will demand a Scottish Hyde at some point because this one-shot proves just how hilarious this is 🤣
Hyde crawled atop the downed man, pinning his arms with his legs, and reared back for his own punch. His hit landed on the man's jaw, eliciting a pained groan. Hyde barely waited a moment before he reared back for another, mischief glinting in his eyes.
"Hyde-!"
The warning was cut short once more, this time with a gasp and a resounding crack!

Oh that is too flipping adorable ☺️ Also, baby Taeko?! Melt my cold heart, why don’t ya?!
And yes, I can confirm the illustration is up on Chapter 1!
Should be working on writing the next five chapters but instead I couldn’t resist making more artwork of the series.
I wasn’t sure what an old Tanjiro would look like but I did my best. The first draft of old Tanjiro ended up looking like an 90 year old instead of an 74 year old so this is already an improvement.
I have the illustration for chapter two already finished and I will post it soon while also replacing the second chapter with an version of the chapter with some minor changes.
I’m not sure I will make illustrations for each chapter. I would like too but I’m pretty sure it would take years. I’m probably just going to make some of the first few chapters, at least for now.
Also, really important, but could you guys please confirm if you see the new illustration on chapter 1? I want to make sure it’s appearing there for everyone.
