Everyone in my notes saying cat food doesn't taste that bad has never smelled Whiskas. If that stuff so much as touches my skin I'm in Accident and Emergency on the double for emotional and psychological damage.

#also i wasn't talking about dry food that's fine i'd nibble that if I was desperate #I'm talking about the Slop. The Gloopy.#sure it might not send the average person to the hospital but it would send me there for sure #also i don't feed my cat Whiskas. Chicken thighs or drumsticks

Curry powder

Dijon mustard

Greek yogurt

Lemon juice

Garlic powder

Salt

Pepper

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a bowl, mix curry powder, Dijon mustard, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to create a curry marinade.

Coat the chicken with the curry marinade.

Place the chicken in a baking dish and bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

aki took a liking to you almost immediately. his feelings towards you were normal at first. but eventually, those feelings twisted into infatuation, and then obsession.

you're just... too lovely, too perfect for this kind of world. you don't deserve to go through the same horrors aki has been through, it just wouldn't be right.

and aki can't lose you. it seems like all he can think about these days is something horrible happening to you. when he closes his eyes at night, he can't sleep because he's always dreaming of watching you die — you, the one person he loves, the last person he cares about.

he feels like he's going to go crazy. everyone can notice, too; his coworkers have been slowly watching him lose focus, he can hear them murmuring amongst themselves whenever he leaves work early for the tenth time. if he spends one more second without you, without being able to make sure you're safe, he's really going to lose it. out of everyone, nothing can happen to you. nothing at all.

aki isn't forceful. he'd never hurt you, or anyone close to you. but he's a little too pushy about getting you to stay with him, and a little too quick to ask you to move in. he tells you that you should quit your job, you should be with him, he can take care of you, you don't need anything else. you don't understand where any of this is coming from, and that's okay. aki wouldn't expect you to understand. you don't have to love him back. you just have to accept that you're his.

#yandere aki who's a bit of a stalker #he memorizes your schedule so he knows where you're going to be at all times #if you're just a couple minutes late to come home he starts to panic and starts spam calling you until you answer #he gets upset with you when you leave the house to go shopping without telling him #you just wanted to buy some things to cook for him... he's so happy you're thinking of him and want to make him happy...#but you don't have to. you don't need to think of him especially when it could compromise your safety #what if a devil attacked you while you were out? aki wouldn't be there to protect you #the next day you find your key is missing so you can't lock the door anymore #which encourages you not to leave the house #for some reason when you get to aki's house he already has the same shampoo and conditioner you use in his bathroom #and he bought some clothes for you so you could stay the night and they're the exact size you wear #he's cooking your favorite meal for dinner and you're sure you never told him what it was #hmmmmmm yandere aki infecting my brain thanks to you anon #ask mags #aki <3

I almost forgot to ask: do you want to tell us about your overnight oats?

Boy do I ever!!! Please continue under the cut if you want to hear me talk about breakfast for way too long

I've posted my overnight oats recipe before but generally speaking:

1/3 cup steel cut oats*

1/3 cup milk of choice**

1/3 cup yogurt of choice***

An Amount of peanut/almond/whatever butter, honey, maple syrup, granola, nuts, fruit, jam, seeds, etc. Go crazy go stupid

*Generally the rule should be 1 part oats to 2 parts liquid, so if you want all yogurt or all milk that's fine, and increasing to 1/2 cup oats would mean 1 cup liquid, etc. Also you can play fast and loose with this rule, it doesn't have to be exact

**my favorite milk rn is oat milk! It has kind of a natural sweetness that is nice, I don't really like milk in general so I have kind of just been buying stuff at random but I think this is what I'll stick with going forward

***I'm also obsessed with plain greek yogurt (this post is making me sound like a health nut??) so I add that but any kind works. I genuinely love the taste of plain greek yogurt but getting a good vanilla or other flavored greek / non-greek yogurt is a good way to add flavor without a ton of effort or adding other things :)

Add-ins I'm fond of:

BANANAS❗ super mild so they go good with anything

sesame seeds

cashews

replacing part of the yogurt or milk with spiced apple sauce is REALLY good

cookie butter is so so so good in it if you have that. I assume any sweet spread like nutella would be great too. I got my dad these fancy peanut butters for xmas and used some in my overnight oats and they were fantastic

chocolate chips, cocoa powder

Vanilla Extract...

Dried fruit like cranberries, raisins, mango, etc.

There's also lots of ideas out there, I tried to keep the above pretty straightforward but if you web search it people are making brownie overnight oats, tiramisu overnight oats, creamsicle, carrot cake, pina colada, the list is endless. At work, my old boss had learned about my obsession and gave me a ton of these packets from an overnight oats subscription service (??? they'll make anything these days) that his wife had gotten and didn't like. I'm not interested in buying it but it gave me some fun flavor ideas that you can see on their site if you click the link!

When I get some time I want to make bubble tea overnight oats by making some good milk tea for the liquid and topping it with tapioca pearls and brown sugar syrup :) I like that if you want to make something complicated out of oats you can but it's also very easy to just mix some oats and yogurt and be done with it. I've tried multiple times to make oats on the stove top and I'm gonna be real with you I think they're better cold, idk I've gotten in friendly arguments about this irl

I'm a big breakfast person and I know it's a meal a lot of people skip or substitute with caffeine but I do think getting some real calories in your system helps as much as good sleep does. It's unfortunate that we all have to work a ton and something as simple as "making breakfast in the morning" feels like a luxury on a workday. I like that I can prep something like this a few days in advance and enjoy it at work at my leisure <3 I'm lucky I work an office job that allows me to do that lol!

To be honest, I haven't even thought about that yet. Do,... Charr even make Laundry?

But if someone would do the Laundry, it would be indeed Kying. Cuz Valefor would be a person who just throws his dirty clothe in the nearest water, stirs it a bit - maybe throws some soap on top of it and sees it as done. One last sniff if it's still smells and good,...

So it's up to Kying to do it the right way. But looks like he was too thorough. Wasn't Valefors Jacket red?,...

I have to admit,... Valefor in white looks nice:

Time to get it bloody - red again. Don't worry. It's not blood. It's really just a normal red jacket - dyed with red dye. Not red because of blood,... but can't deny that's some blood on the red jacket,... you just can't see it :X

since i just reblogged saying smthn about casey being able to cook i think i should share with you this thought i had like a month ago while cooking dinner

So, and just hear me out on this, April isn't BAD at cooking. she can do it. She just. Shes not too good at the flavor part on her own. she has to follow a recipe or it will be dry, bland, and overall a. not bad but NOT GOOD. experience.

So, within the farmhouse arc, April is cooking dinner. Casey walks in, makes a couple jokes about being married, yadda yadda, normal casey stuff. Then he sees. then he sees the bland mess that she is cooking. i'm talking chicken with no seasoning other than salt.

Casey: not even pepper?

April: It's a bit too spicy for my tastes..

Casey:
