hi all. I wanted to apologize for the amount of reblogs that have been happening on my account in regards to sales and items in my shops - I have been stressing about money and my living situation with family a lot lately, without much any savings and am feeling stuck. I am kind of struggling to make the art I really want to make right now with a goal of moving out without much any means to at the moment. I am currently navigating the weird world of freelancing and selling art items without much guidance. I am also attempting to find a job that works for me and my skills but it is rough out there trying to find jobs and interviewing, having only ever been self employed. (if any late diagnosed autistic people have any tips for interviewing for jobs and are willing to share please do!)
If anyone wants to throw me a few dollars I encourage you to check out my stickers in my shop, or any of my other handmade items.
I also would love to talk commissions with anyone, particularly small paintings in the $50-$60 range! if you have something you want painting please send me a message, i really appreciate your support endlessly. Will link other ways of supporting me below. thank you and boosts appreciated. trying to think positive 😵💫

Hello! I was wondering if you’d be willing to take commissions someday 👀. No pressure tho! I just love your art so much
The short answer: "not at the moment, but it is very possible in the future'!
The slightly longer answer: I would have to figure out a good pricing and payment system! PD-MDZS is also where most of my free time goes, so until my life settles down a bit, I would be on the slow side to complete them.

custom designed queen-size bed quilt i was commissioned to make! i'm really happy with how everything turned out. the quilting did exactly what i wanted it to and i was reminded that stitching giant quilts on the long arm is not as bad as i always make it out to be

I’ve gotten a bunch of new followers recently, so I figured I should introduce myself! My name is TJ and I like to make things. I started out crocheting, but over the years I’ve learned knitting, sewing, doll furniture making, sewing, and most recently embroidery. I usually link to the pattern in the notes when I post finished projects if I use someone else’s patterns, but I do frequently make my own patterns and have shared a bunch of both sewing and crochet patterns for free! If there’s ever a pattern you want a link to and you can’t find it in the notes of the post, please let me know! More info below the read more
That said, the pattern for the crochet UFO music box is available here or as a kit here, and the lemon armadillo pattern is available here. The rainbow quilt in the picture is a free pattern called the Postcards from Sweden quilt, the floral quilt is a crumb quilt with no pattern, the embroidery I made up as I went, and I designed the patterns for all the sewn plushies in that top picture.
I mostly post about things I’m making, and I’d say more than half the time what I make is plushies? Some tags I use to make it easier for my followers to blacklist non-crochet/non-sewing posts include #tj cooks, #tj bakes, #the person behind the yarn, #tj talks about work, and several others I can’t think of at the moment lol. I have some health issues that are now (thankfully) mostly under control, but I have pretty severe, fairly odd allergies and have weird salt issues and talk about that sometimes. I also play a few instruments, and very occasionally will post snippets of me playing and singing. Please let me know if there are any tags you’d suggest I use for blacklisting; I try to be sure I tag clearly enough for anything that needs to be blacklisted to be caught by the filters, but I am not infallible

Completed commission for Pillowfort fundraising! 9" applique block of the logo from Omochabako no Kuni no Alice / Alice in the Country of Toybox.
Machine stitched, except for the stems and small leaves which were hand-embroidered.
This was very cool to work on and very fun to make it all come together! :)
