Eddie Munson being completely in love with you and showing it despite knowing he doesn't stand a chance.

Yeah, it breaks his heart a little. But he's never been one to love less just because it hurts.

So he designs his campaigns around your D&D character. He finds out your favourite songs and learns to play them in his guitar. He sits next to you in every class you share.

He doesn't let you see what's inside his lunchbox. You asked once and he refused to sell anything to you. Eddie would never allow you to consume what he smokes.

He's not ashamed of his trailer. That's who he is. And he loves having you over. He invites you to dinner there, to watch movies, to hang out.

Every once in a while, he tries a new hairstyle. If you don't like it, at least he'll get to see you laugh. Either way, it's a win.

He stole one of your hair elastics and keeps it in his vest's chest pocket. He found out what perfume you wear and decided to spend some of his hard-earned money in a bottle. He sprays it over his pillow when he feels especially sad.

He's so sweet. He jokes with you, but never about you. Whenever you need backup in a discussion, even if it is silly af, he's on your side.

He pays attention. He stands between you and the people who make you uncomfortable. Steals glances at you.

He bought black nail polish just so you'd paint his nails. He bites it off so you have to fix it. He blushes when you scold him for not taking care of his nails.

He loves having your attention. It's an adrenaline rush. He creates more and more elaborate stories just so you'll keep looking at him.

He puts his jacket on the back of your chair. He's trying to measure how big it would look on you.

If you ever asked, he'd drop to his knees and eat you out until you were completely satisfied. He doesn't care if you'd only use him. He doesn't mind it being a one-time thing, or a friends with benefits dinamic. It's worth it because he knows he can make you feel good (more than good, he can make you lose control and that makes him feel on top of the world).

He's woken up thrusting into his mattres, moaning against his pillow. He feels guilty after, because he knows you'd never do to him what you do in his dreams. Doesn't stop him from cumming in a shaking mess.

When he detangles his hair he pretends it's your hands touching him. It helps him relax.

korrasami and longing

please walk with me here, i wanna make a point.

i recently rewatched tlok, and remember someone pointed this out years ago after the finale dropped but i don't remember who was it, or where it was posted. i can't find it so i assume it's gone by now, and i wanted to give my own thoughts.

SO. we all know the 3 years korra and asami spent away from each other between book 3 and 4 is very important to their story. in reunion, asami tells korra she's been talking to her father again and is thinking about forgiving him. korra is concerned that hiroshi might wanna hurt her again, and asami goes off:

obviously korra was just worried and had no ill intentions, but asami's reaction is understandable. personally, i would at least feel a little bothered if someone who disappeared for years and refused to keep in touch after a while wanted to judge what i was doing with my life all of a sudden.

especially after having offered to give up everything to go with and support her in any way possible, and everything i got was a quick decline and a big ass ghosting after a couple of letters...

anyway. then we have this scene in kuvira's gambit:

i've watched some reactions on youtube and most people didn't GET it. it's not a surprise since it's a trend in avatar fandom to misunderstand korra's character a lot (and the writers fumbled a little bit with korrasamis development in b4 imo).

this is not a badass korra™ scene or something out of place, it's actually simple: korra knows how it feels to be distant from the ones you love and not being able to do much about it, because it happened to her. korra's body recovered relatively fast and she could've came back sooner but, as toph told her in the swamp, korra was unconsciously sabotaging herself so she wouldn't be susceptible to getting hurt again. still, it felt so horrible to be separated from someone she cared about that she --knowing that bataar jr had love and devotion for kuvira-- used it a fucking threat to get him to talk!

and we reach THE korrasami scene, where they finally get some time alone after the battle and things have cooled down a bit, and the first thing korra does is apologize:

this is one of the few times since coming back that korra actively shows regret from what happened. it's the only time she apologizes for it, and it's to asami.

asami's answer is heartbreaking, but it is what it is. she could've lost both korra AND her dad, the people she cared for the most, but she still has korra. she's here. and that's what matters now.
