pacing around the room with my hands clasped behind my back every time i think about lawrence going to adam despite the door being open right there, despite having the opportunity to leave a few minutes earlier and maybe save himself from bleeding out, just to pull adam down to his level and cup his face. to tell him he needs to go get help. that he promises. even stopping once more to tell adam that he wouldn’t lie to him ..

is this a post case which i see before me, the request upon my desk? come, let me clutch thee...
but alas, this post proved simple for me to track down. as simple as plunging thy blade deep within the heart of any monarch. i set upon my duty, to seek out my own prize from the Don, Thane of Google. they sat there upon their usual throne, indulging in revelry that bore them riches greater than any average man could hope to achieve. like the mighty Birnam Wood approaching Dunsinane Hill, i approached the Thane. they bore down on me with inauspicious gaze, and thus i felt a tinge of fear for the interaction to come...
"Sit, Lady Detective." they said in reverberant voice which resounded throughout the chamber. upon my brow sweat formed, giving way to the consternation within me.
my Thane, i come bearing a request. i search for a post regarding the Scottish Play in relation to the Kingdom of Tumblr. may i be honored with your aid?
the Thane glared at me with expression dissolute. with a wave of their hand, a fool did enter carrying a small box of oaken construct. inside was thy post which i had sought. their majesty gifted most graciously this parchment. i bowed with deep gratitude and took my leave. such was the point in which i was approached by three Wëird Sisters, but alas, a tale for another time...
i deliver upon you thy request of this parchment! i believed this case would have been solved hereafter, as tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in its petty pace. but none of woman born could keep me from this case. i bring thy desired conclusion. i bid thee farewell, and a good morrow.
Post Case: Concluded
Flourish. All exit.

As the person who came up with empath Hakuba ,what’s your opinion on it?
So I'm pretty sure I know what you're referring to, but... Truth be told I actually got attached to the idea of Hakuba being an empath from a fanfic that I read over a decade ago (Promenade and The Way Home by Ocianne, for those interested), and it's been something I've just casually thought about when I think about him ever since. And I've seen a few different variations over the years... but generally speaking, it's a headcanon/AU that I like to see, because I do believe that even if he isn't canonically an empath he's still a person that's got a pretty high level of empathy.
What sells me on the idea of it specifically is his original catchphrase. It got changed to 'The truth will come to light', for the 1412 anime, and that's cool and all, but the original simply being 'why did you do it?' really spoke to me and made me think that he was focused on the emotions motivating the crimes rather than any other parts- which even bleeds into why I think he's willing to help Kid on occasion, he doesn't really care that Kaito is committing crimes he just wants to understand who Kaito truly is and why he's committing crimes. Does that answer the question? I'm not sure it does but who knows.

Murder at the cabin
I wanted to start a new series of creepy watercolor paintings! I had an idea of a character named Joshua, who solves the "cold case" crimes. But in a "reverse" way. He wakes up randomly knowing a solution to a cold case, but he doesn't know which one it is, so he has to piece together what crime he now knows about and where to find the crime scene or where the body of a murder victim he learned about was buried, for example. His name is Joshua and he is a Cold Case Solver!
Would you be interested in more paintings for this setting, or a design of Joshua? Or would you rather just see pictures with no clear backstories so you can make your own up? I’m interested in your opinions :3c

@wreche [from]
He knew who the other person is the second they spoke. Nobody would forget the voice of an old friend like that! Especially not when they were such a polar opposite of one's self, lingering in the back of the mind as a reminder of what could've been; sheer boredom by having a more pure sense of life.
How long had it been since they had last stood face to face? Well, obviously over ten years since the prison sentence had been that long, rendering him behind bars for the decade. But he had been a good boy and they had let him out early!
"Oh, Nao~" He exclaims, spinning to completely face the other man with a smile on his face. The gun could be a threat, but he doubts the trigger would be pulled. Na. Naomasa is too much of a good guy to kill without meaning, is far too puuuuure having moved on from the fun days! Shame. Life could've been fun for the pair as friends. "Long time no see indeed! How've you been?"
A hand lifts to interrupt any words that the other would begin with.
"Now, before you ask, I'm fine. Just dandy! Happily gorging myself on the most delicious of fastfoods. You know. Since prison's food is so. Fucking. Awful."
That demeanor turns sour, angry almost. One second he is smiling, the next he's looking rather vicious and hurt, like a scorned dog in its cage.
"But you'd have no fucking clue, would you?"
Tumblr media
His features flickered slightly at that intimate name, used by virtually no one these days save for his sister. But heh . . . they’d been something akin to siblings way back when, hadn’t they? Two kids down on their luck and pushed down even further by those around them. He’d been so angry with the world for what it’d done to him, and had wanted nothing more than to raze it, to force every last soul to feel even a fraction of his pain.
But he grew up.
He’d taken a new step every day towards a better tomorrow, while Vance never seemed interested in pursuing the same. Striving to push his luck further and further, instead, taking their rebellion to new extremes just to see if he could. Finally pushed it too far, if the prison sentence were any indication, and Naomasa would neither confirm nor deny if he’d shed a single tear to hear of it.
The detective’s fingers remain on the trigger for only a second more, before he allows it to drop, knowing just as well as anyone that he wouldn't have the heart to fire.

Okay, this is weird, but. I have tried– and failed– to reference a certain post a few times, and I would really like to know it.
I don't know the exact wording, but it was a short post, and I think the text was about teens spinning their blorbos in their minds/thoughts.
It's not a lot, which I'm sorry about.
readin' this request, i knew exactly what my client was askin' for. personally, the amount of times i've referenced "rotatin' my blorbos in my head like a microwave" was just too much to count. so i had to find this one. if not for my client, then for the blorbos from my shows. i began by searchin' any variation of the microwave phrase on google, but it was comin' up short. i tracked down a few variations, but not the exact origin of the microwave phrasing. i did manage to find a variation on this post, but it just wasn't what i was lookin' for.
on the off chance this was the post you wanted, i'm linkin' it here. otherwise, i'm gonna open this one up to the tumblr masses. if anyone has any information on where the microwave phrasing originated, any lead at all, send it my way, and i'll continue the search. enjoy this for now! sorry i couldn't be more of a help! have a great day!

Okay, okay hear me out! This might be my fever brain speaking right now. And maybe... juuust maybe i've binge watched some of my old favourite crime series, but...
Sun and Moon detective au but along the lines of the 'Cold Case' series.
Sun, Moon and y/n revisiting old, not yet solved but also not forgotten cases, if new clues show up.
Maybe y/n is new to the force. A young blood with either quite the temperament or a literal ray of sunshine (i'm a bit fuzzy on the details), but either way with a strong sense of justice. Bring closure to the loved ones and hold the perpetrator accountable.
Sun and Moon on the contrary are already a little jaded from the daily grind. They were once as bright-eyed and idealistic as y/n. But for them it's now always the same old song: get a new clue, roll up an old case and get one of two outcomes. Either the new leads come to nothing. Or the culprit still slips through their fingers because of a deal or a procedural error. (It's not always a total failure but those cases remain more prominent in their memory)
Y/n's empathy for the victims and their loved ones, their boundless energy with which they dive head first into each case... and their tendency to get into difficult situations by either throwing hands or running their mouth with potential suspects, is what breaks the detectives out of their monotonous world (that and the many times they have to save y/n's ass from yet another self induced chaos of some sort). It's also what over time endears y/n to them.
Bonus points when later on they stumble upon bits and pieces related to old cases regarding the Pizzaplex and in a larger context Sun's and Moon's past.

Sometimes I really do enjoy media starring cops that tries so hard not to be copaganda but the thing they're missing is that uh. Somebody that good would be an ex cop. I'm sorry but Batman is closer to what you're going for than what you've done and Batman is a rich weirdo with very little self awareness.
