It's a long process, but yeah hopefully I'll get refs of all my Bajillion ocs done sooner or later! It is something I want to do, it just takes a while. xD For my Toontown OCs at least it's pretty easy since I count pretty much Any full/most body colored drawing of them as a ref, and most of my major guys have those! ^^ Still chipping away at the others, though.
For anyone out of the loop btw, a Bunch of my OCs have full profiles including refs/art on my Toyhou.se! I've also got a separate folder for a bunch of characters who have art but unfinished profiles on there, too. ;)

1967 Ford Mustang
The 1967 model year Mustang was the first significant redesign of the original model. Ford's designers began drawing up a larger version even as the original was achieving sales success, and while "Iacocca later complained about the Mustang's growth, he did oversee the redesign for 1967 ."The major mechanical feature was to allow the installation of a big-block V8 engine. The overall size, interior and cargo space were increased. Exterior trim changes included concave taillights, side scoop (1967 model) and chrome (1968 model) side ornamentation, square rear-view mirrors, and usual yearly wheel and gas cap changes. The high-performance 289 option was placed behind the newer 335 hp (250 kW; 340 PS) 390 cu in (6.4 L) FE engine from the Ford Thunderbird, which was equipped with a four-barrel carburetor. During the mid-1968 model year, a drag racer for the street could be ordered with the optional 428 cu in (7.0 L) Cobra Jet engine which was officially rated at 335 hp (250 kW; 340 PS) all of these Mustangs were issued R codes on their VINs.

Play along: Amrev codebreaker!
While browsing through some primary materials reading up about John Laurens’ mission to France as special minister to the court of Versailles, I came across a letter that he wrote to the president of the Continental Congress on 9 April 1781 that included a coded message using a numerical cipher.
I took a shot at deciphering it – here’s the process I followed, and you can play along too!
1. The first step, of course, was to determine which specific encryption was being used. After a bit of digging, I came across the immensely useful United States diplomatic codes and ciphers, 1775-1938 by Ralph E Weber. He explains that the cipher in question was “prepared on separate encode and decode sheets, the latter contained 660 printed numbers, with usually 600 words, syllables, and letters of the alphabet scattered randomly throughout the sheet.” So, for example, the word “congress” is “143”, the syllable “el” is “593” and the letter “r” is “215”. This cipher was an updated and improved version of the one used by Benjamin Tallmadge, and Weber explains that Laurens was the first one to use it. Weber also handily provides the decode table in an appendix.
2. The second step was to design an efficient way to decode the hundreds of numbers Laurens used in his letter, and the obvious answer was my good friend the spreadsheet. I transferred the table from the book to Google Sheets, which was mildly tedious but hugely time-saving later on.
3. Now the fun part! I typed out the numbers from Laurens’ letter, and then used a simple LOOKUP formula to match the number to the decoded text.
The cipher also includes two nuances - an underscore beneath the word means a plural, and an overscore denotes adding an “e” - so I marked these in the cells with pink and green highlights respectively.
4. The final step was correcting a few errors in my table, refining the decoding (some numbers have various iterations to save space, such as 103 which can be any one of “ec/eck/ek” depending on which syllable is needed), and extracting the final text.
It all reads very smoothly, with the singular exception of “ght-f-t”, which is the way Laurens rendered the word “gift”. The obvious explanation for this mangle is that he mis-wrote 340 (ght) instead of 170 (gi).
That’s definitely 340, 304, 196 which decodes as “ght-f-t”.
While it seems like a strange error to make, bear in mind that the encoding sheet (the one Laurens was using to change plaintext into numbers) would have been listed in alphabetical order to make finding the numbers easier (while the person at the other end has the sheet in numerical order, to reverse the process just as easily). And when we sort alphabetically, we can see that 340 and 170 are right next to each other:
A simple slip to make for someone writing coded letters late at night in low candlelight.

First time writing anything. Not proofread and English is not my 1st language, so excuse any mistakes 🙏 Not much happening here, just wanted to test out if I'm even capable of writing anything lol.
Simon slips into your room at night. He used to knock, he used to wait for you to let him in. But he's far past that now. And you don't mind it. Maybe even expect it.
You wake up to the soft click of the door being closed, the room pitch black. You can't hear his footsteps approaching your bed, but you can hear the thump of his balaclava being discarded on the bedside table. You can feel the mattress dip under his weight, and finally you can hear him let out a breath right by your ear as he puts his arm around you, pulling your back close to his chest.
It started as a hook up. Then, it developed into an unspoken agreement to relieve each others needs, to provide each other with the rare comfort of physical closeness of another body. However, things have changed.
Now, he more often sneaks in just to sleep by your side rather than to fuck you. His chest, moving with his breath, pressed to your back. His face buried in your hair. Hands laid relaxed on your hip, stomach, chest, rather than greedily gripping the flesh. His fingers sometimes tracing patterns on your skin, though he only does that when he thinks you're asleep.
Some things have changed, yes. But one thing stayed the same - he's just like his code name - a ghost. A vivid dream, leaving no evidence behind. Not for anyone to discover in the light of the dawn.
You wake up alone and greet him in the morning meeting the same way you greet Gaz or Soap. Never doing anything that could give away what happened during the night.
You're not sure what caused the change in your dynamic and where you're going with it, but for now the quiet night visits must satisfy you both. Neither of you can afford to complicate it right now, to dirty it with too many questions, with too many feelings.
Though, you can swear you can still feel his eyes on you throughout the day.

DCMK Blu-rays
A list of Detective Conan and Magic Kaito content with physical HD releases.
This won't be comprehensive by any means; I'm going to be focusing on Japanese, German, and United States releases because these are the ones that I own and am most familiar with. I believe that many of the films are also available on Blu-ray in several countries, dubbed in several languages, but I don't have much concrete knowledge about that at this moment. Please feel free to add any information!
That said, the main thing to know about Detective Conan Blu-rays is that... they kind of don't really exist. The television series is (mainly, more on this later) released on DVD only in Japan, usually with the equivalent of four episodes per disc, sold at 4,620 yen each. They're grouped in "Parts," with up to 10 Volumes per Part, and the next release, on June 23rd, will be Part 31, Volume 3, containing episodes 1007, 1008, 1010, and 1013.
A handful of episodes are released on Blu-ray via collections in Japan; there are the Treasured Selections and Akai Family TV Selections. But with a series running over 1,000 episodes, it really is just a handful of episodes available in these collections.

Finally, special edition Blu-rays for Movies 17-25 include a second disc containing the movie's tie-in anime episode... but that second disc is likely a DVD, speaking as someone who doesn't own any of these but does own the Japanese special edition Blu-rays for Movies 14 through 16, where the second discs are, indeed, DVDs.
German Blu-rays
Outside of Japan, Germany is currently releasing boxed sets of the Detective Conan series starting from Episode 1. At this time, these are the only physical releases of the remastered footage (which make a big difference), and they include Japanese and German audio (but any German-dubbed songs are omitted). Three boxes are available now, covering Episodes 1 to 96 (or 102 with the international numbering); a fourth box is set to be released on May 19th, covering up until Episode 122 (or 129 with the international numbering).
Do note that these releases edit the name boxes in a way that can't be turned off, however.

Episode One: The Great Detective Turned Small
As far as I'm aware, there are no HD releases anywhere of the OVAs. They're available on DVD in Japan, either separately or via four "Secret File" compilations (though these only cover OVAs 1-9).
There also aren't any HD releases of the Magic/Bonus files, but DVDs are included with the Japanese special edition versions of Movies 12-16. They're also available for individual purchase in Japan as well.
TV Specials 1, 2, and 4 (with 3 being the Lupin special, 5 being The Disappearance of Conan Edogawa, and 6 being Episode One) seem to be DVD only, too. Actually, I'm not sure if TV Special 1,"Time Travel of the Silver Sky," is available on disc at all? But TV Special 2, "Black History," is said to be included with the Japanese special edition DVD of the second live-action drama special, and TV Special 4, "Fugitive: Kogoro Mori," is included on the Part 24, Volume 7 DVD.
TV Special 7, "Love Story at Police Headquarters ~Wedding Eve~," might be included on Blu-ray in Japan with the special edition of Movie 25, but I can't confirm if that disc is a Blu-ray or DVD right now (and the same goes for The Scarlet Alibi, included with the special edition of Movie 24 in Japan).
The eight VHS-only Shogakukan Illustrated Encyclopedia Series tapes are obviously not available in HD, either.
Tl;dr?
So, in short, combining releases and eliminating the not-remastered Treasured Selections, you can find 186 episodes on Blu-ray right now (with more on the way with the fourth Detektiv Conan box). You can also get all of the films and Magic Kaito series, plus a few specials, in HD.
And I think that's all I've got! Feel free to add more information if you know any! I am desperate to physically own more HD DCMK content.
EDIT: I've done some more digging, and from what I can tell, starting with Movie 24, the Japanese special edition Blu-rays for the films changed the bonus second disc from a DVD to a Blu-ray instead. This means that Episode 1,002, "The Beika City Shopping Center Garbage Bin Mystery," included with the special edition of Movie 24, as well as Episode 1,039, "The Flying Jack-o'-lantern," included with the special edition of Movie 25, are available on Blu-ray, too. So, a more accurate number of episodes that have been released on Blu-ray (in HD) at this time is actually 188. Further, this confirms that The Scarlet Alibi and TV Special 7 are also available on Blu-ray in Japan.
Additionally, though I have provided a couple of links throughout this post, the Detective Conan World wiki deserves a bigger shout out than I initially gave; their "Collectibles" page, and particularly their "Japanese Blu-ray" article, were a huge help in compiling the information laid out here. Many, many thanks to the contributors.
And while I'm here, for those interested in English-language releases specifically, Magic's Detective Agency is a fantastically detailed resource for every DVD released by FUNimation (Volumes, Season Sets, and Films). They're not HD releases, true, but at the time, they're the only physical releases of any episodes and the first six films in English.
Finally, I also discovered that a fifth Detektiv Conan box is set to be released on July 21st! This should mean that remastered episodes up until 145 (or 155 with the international numbering) will be available on Blu-ray, and it bodes well for these releases to continue. Hopefully, there will be physical releases of the remastered footage in other countries, too!

Eddie whips around the blackened alley, but sees no one, nothing. Nothing but slick oil-stained asphalt and busted-up chipper vending machines.
"I can help you."
He turns again, hearing a flicker in the voice that sounds just like the buzz of the fluorescent kiosk behind him and—oh god dammit, it is the kiosk.
"Buzz off!" He waves his hands at the pink advertisement, pulsing hearts and sales at him.
The digital face of a blonde blue-eyed baby girl crumples, her lips pouting and brows furrowing to imitate some emotion. Nervous. Scared. The BIG BLOWOUT lettering disappears around her head and the advertisement zooms out to show her crossing her arms on her electric cloud. "I-I just wanted to—!"
"I'm not buying whatever you're selling, soda girl. And I know your scam! You're not getting my ID Data by making me talk so you can use corporate tactics and native—"
"You did that yourself Eddie Munson of the 429-70 sector—"
"Hey!" He rushes as the kiosk and other parts of it light up from proximity. She twists into a bigger frame and leans over to pop images up between her fingers.
"—and I'm not interested in selling you a GIBSON 340 Flyer series BLACK or the 76th edition of Dueling Dragon—"
"Knock it off!" He bangs knuckles on her pixels, poofing his most recent engine searches into square dust.
She laughs. It bubbles into audio pops from a speaker that had long been blown at. Stars rotate in her cartoon-like eyes. "I just want to help, you look like you haven't been to the pink district before."
Pink district.
Eddie twists on his boots, eyes roaming over the tops of the building he's been wandering between, trying to see the neon grid of the city's artificial sky for traces of the color that denotes each zone. He thinks through the smog he can see it. Pink.
He returns to the kiosk, watching the rotating words start their default script above her head. INTIMATE MOMENTS. GET TO KNOW ME! 5KEY SENSATION! FLASH INPUT FOR CUSTOM FANTASIE—
She's a Playtime Prostitute.
"I don't—I'm n-not here for—your services are not required!" He claws fingers at her, feeling attacked from all sides by his new location ping and her chest when she giggles.
"I do have a module for Knights and Maidens—!"
"S-Stop! D-don't fucking read my order history, it's rude."
"Sorry!" she says, but she's grinning, floating up to cross her legs on a heart that pulses beneath her. "Can't help my code."
"Am I past 34th and Adven?"
"By two blocks!" She flashes into a new pose, dipping past one frame to the protruding sign so she can point past where he came from. "You're closer to the VR Domes now."
"Fuck."
"Where are you looking to—" She turns up at him and from this angle, the scanner must be close enough, because her eyes barcode over when they snag his badge. "Ohhhhhh! A Repo-man!"
Eddie slaps his hand over the metal bracket on his jacket but it's too late.
"How can I help you officer?" she coos, wiggling her hips with stars in her eyes again.
"Oh, don't. Cancel Authority Service program. I don't like working with ai's anyway, you all track my target's credit scores and sell them loans at interest."
"I'm a sex doll," she deadpans, floating to a high frame where it crops to just those entrancing eyes, that little nose, and those gussed up lips/ Perfected down to the algorithm. For a busted-up kiosk, she looks... really good. And the lack of interaction in the back of an alley didn't seem to fry her function. At least not yet. "I can't track anything, I'm not allowed."
"Not legally." Eddie swallows. "But all you things are just dirty little car dealers."
She blinks. Smiles. Shy.
Or maybe sly.
The colors of the kiosk coordinate a hot red and flash her through different outfits. A translucent street set, those new dance bandages, and then something super old world—denim shorts and a bathing suit top with sneakers. She sits crossed-legged and starts playing with the ties on her shoulders.
She's got him, the entire thing is working as intended, using all its collected data to sell him something customized. Something from his collected magazines and website cookies. And he's a fucking idiot because he knows it but doesn't stop her.
"I just wanted to help you. You know I have to be wired to the grid for theft."
She has a GPS tracker. He didn't even think of that. Can't think of anything when her top falls off but emojis censor her with animated DnD dice and guitars. The red drips away to pink. She starts laughing.
Eddie grasps his face with both hands to hide. Is he really gonna get hard and jerk one out in front of an old commercial in the back of some alley? Really?
"Can you just tell me where the Syranx Warehouse is? Huh? Or is lying part of the scam here?"
"What part are you collecting from the poor guy? Not his little rod?" she asks, biting her nail and winking.
Eddie groans, and checks his work watch, tapping through the data to yank up his mark's collection ticket. A hologram of a V-model leg prosthesis rotates between them on his wrist.
"His leg! How cruel! How will he walk?"
Eddie shakes his head. "Look, what do you want from me? He shoulda paid his monthly."
"How scary you are, Eddie Munson." She twists a finger in her hair. "Hope you don't... come for me one day."
"I don't come for ai—oh." He cringes, realizing her sexual innuendo too late into her roar of giggles.
"I can change that!" she declares and twists into a new frame—transformed into a cheerleader outfit.
"STOP!" Eddie bangs on the fiberglass. She ripples pixels, falling over laughing, pleated skirt perfectly peeking underwear. "That's a low blow you pop-up witch!"
"Encrypt your life then!" she teases. It's a good point, but an expensive one.
"Just give me directions!"
"Promise to come back!"
Eddie inhales. It's not contractual. It's authentic programming. Nothing digital can hold you to anything unless biometrics are involved. No this is just her, using years of being turned on to collect and create her own machine learning for targeting and manipulating people.
Or, rather—she's being cute.
"S-s-sure." It's all he can manage. Because apparently now he's a company shill.
She claps her hands and a scanner code pops up. "Maps for the scary Repo-man!"
He flashes his watch over it and watches in horror as pink hearts burst and pop from his digital screen. "Don't infect me, okay? I trusted—" But he stops when a map appears and a cute little cartoon icon of her points at a dot with a simple flashing. YOU ARE HERE!
He looks back up at her, where she's laid back down in her original posting with the BLOWOUT SALE next to—oh, that makes a lot more sense now.
"T-thanks." He scratches his head, grateful but ashamed. She waves fingers at him coyly. "Listen uh—Uhm. What's your... make and...uh model? You know for... I'll do the survey or whatever—"
"I'm Chrissy." She winks, flashing open the tag with her company and link.
"Thanks, Chrissy."
"Come back soon!"
He very much will not be. He'd avoided the Pink District for this very fucking reason. Well, not this reason in particular but this can definitely be added to the top of the list.
But he knows that the scan was already logged. That his eye implant recorded the whole interaction. That her link in his memory was fucking... clickable.
God dammit.

hi boss,
soooo the twitter thing has gone on for a bit, a lot of firing, quitting, more firing, I've seen posts to the effect that Musk has broken EU labor laws/rules idk if thats true or not, I've seen reports that Tesla has lost about 50% of its value since Musk first floated his plan to take over twitter
and I just wanted your take on the whole thing, will twitter go down? will Musk lose everything?
The short answers to your questions are "probably, before too long" and "not really anytime soon barring other situations".
Twitter is definitely going to "collide with Brussels" as I've seen some commentators put it. For all of the European employees he's laid off, I can comfortably say he and his people never thought about any EU employment law and requirements, and so any employees laid off there would be able to pursue legal and other challenges through the EU systems, and until a proper laying off/termination is done, would still be considered employees and entitled to compensation. And he's still facing lawsuits in CA over the improper firing situation there.
Additionally, any payroll issues will add to further complaints and issues for Twitter (of which there is likely to be several all around) because of US and EU pay requirements.
Additionally, the EU has some pretty serious data privacy and information tech regulations, with more on the way, and if they end up running afoul of those regulations, they could be blocked from being used in the EU, and can face serious fines and penalties in addition. And the EU is going to be more than willing to use Twitter as a test case for the new rules coming out.
Additionally, with more disinformation and more bot and crypto and porn usage, they face penalties under any US and EU regulations or statutes *there*, to say nothing of Apple removing/banning Twitter from the app store, in addition to further advertiser exodus.
And then there's the FTC fines for violating the consent order plus any new violations or failures by Twitter.
For the fines and penalties and legal costs alone, we're talking millions of dollars - and likely from both Musk and other executives in addition to the company. And that's not including the other costs (such as additional payouts or compensation ordered by the courts should they rule in favor of twitter employees, which I would imagine they would considering how relatively clear-cut the violations are). If twitter and Musk try to get out of contracts or paying for services, they can be brought to court there too (and there's already indications that that's happening).
Estimates have indicated that Twitter has lost about 60% of its workforce since Musk took over, which is staggering to think about.
in regards to the value of Tesla, its shares have lost about 58% of their value in the past year, and Musk himself has lost about $170 billion, with an almost $9 billion loss yesterday. He had about $340 billion net worth in 2021. Depending on investments and other resources, and other revenue streams and the support of his other investors and the banks, he'll be able to hold out for a while specifically with twitter. If he continues to lose and if Twitter continues to lose money, that may change. And his other companies, of which Tesla and SpaceX are the most profitable and successful, are not super financially secure and reliant on him and Twitter, now (especially when something like 13%/just over $6 billion of the money to buy Twitter came from a margin loan based on Tesla securities, and when another 28%/$13 billion came from debt financing which means twitter has to pay like $1 billion in loans every year, which is a $500 million/year increase from previously. That debt financing is 7 times what were once the projected earnings for Twitter for 2022, by the way).
Twitter will remain, in some form, as long as the servers and code and other systems are still there - whether it loses functionality and has more issues is something else entirely. Elon Musk will continue to be ridiculously wealthy, unless he ends up being like that FTX guy or other cryptonaires and it turns out his wealth was far shakier than it otherwise looked.

337. Rusty's Scavangies: A shiny stone shop. Rusty is an UNDERbot, a kind of mining robot created in collaboration between the Baldarf and the Novanosed. Rusty was one of the first ones to achieve sentience, but decided to just make souvenier rocks instead of joining the interspatial mining guild.
338. Nebulan Palace: A palace for the most refined of Nebulans. Nebulans are Nanobot swarms held in very fancy glass spheres, and their palaces are as fancy! They were first made in the Ourobourus Nebula, but the ψrpents don't remember why they built them, as they threw out their notes as they were not hip and hep at all, only snooty.
339. Q-regon Voidships Hub: A HQ for Q-regon Voidships's regional branch. Most of the staff are Transport Drones, reactivated and reverse engineered from ancient walrus ruins. Nowadays, they schedule the moving of cargo instead of moving them themselves.
340. Artificial Intelligence Support: A friendly looking metallic building. Sometimes, regular machines get randomly sentient, which leads to confusion. The AIS will get them a more creaturoid body, and gives them a new life, where they don't have to be air friers if they don't want to.
341. Lesser Spotted Payphone Center: An information center. These phones are definitely magical constructs, and they can be seen all over Nthspace. Tourists and residents are advised to not pick them up.
342. Magical Construct Association: A slightly floating house. Sentient magical items and construct need rather different care compared to robots gaining sentience. They usually prefer being jammed into other nonsentient magical items, forming strange spindly creaturoid shapes.
343. Web 4.Ö Förum Server: A HQ for a forum web host. Forums are all the rage, though they have been invaded by sentient microblog pillagers, called the Bloggards. Core Prime's robots spend a lot of their off time in the form of sentient code, so they are often called in to contain and control these invaders.

(Additional review note: My harvest report posts got more popular this year. I realize that 20-something notes is not exactly viral, but it's a lot for me. Harvest reports with photos actually in the garden did not get nearly as many notes as the ones with my vegetables arranged neatly on a kitchen towel. I started doing the neat arrangements last year or the year before because it was easier to go back and count things in case I wanted to keep a proper garden journal and take note of what kinds of things were ripe in which part of the season. Anyway, glad people enjoyed.)

Still thinking about using “family” as code for LGBTQ+ folks, and wondering how it added layers of beautiful complexity when there started to be an increase in openly same-gender couples raising kids together.
(As we all know, queer people have always been here, there have always been queer parents, and true marriage equality does not yet exist, especially for people with disabilities- I’m talking about increased cultural recognition, not “we all lived happily ever after.”)
I remember when I was in grad school in the Bay Area at the turn of the 21st century, one of my queer professors was relating a learning experience of meeting young grad students who didn’t themselves personally identify as LGBTQ but knew LGBTQ history and culture because their parents had been openly queer from before they were born. “We’re family,” the students would say. And before you get the pikes sharpened up for gatekeeping, keep in mind that these are young people who grew up with the constant threat of the state tearing their family apart, they had a stake in Queer liberation. The idea that we can pass on our culture and values to the next generation within our households was a world-changing delight to this professor.
Our kids are 12. They are still figuring out who they are. But they know that justice is personal, not only for people they and their parents share identity with, but all of us have a responsibility to work toward collective liberation for everyone. And there are history and culture details we make sure they know. The other day we were out with the kids when Melissa Etheridge’s “Christmas in America” came over the loudspeaker. I stopped and made sure the kids knew who was singing, because every kid with two moms should be able to identify her voice. They know about Stonewall, and about the Bi Manifesto, and why bodily autonomy is a thread that connects several justice movements. I’m not sure they think of those things as being “family” though. I think they think of it as being human.

(Additional review note: This one is tied for first place with the octopus post. I think the grid pattern on the towel made it more appealing to aesthetic bloggers even than the usual harvest reports. My garden is so little. It is a source of personal amazement to me, but I always assume that my tiny harvest is unremarkable to others. It is nice that other people have enjoyed the harvest posts.)
