Christine is absolutely everyone’s mom. She just cares so much and so deeply. She’ll see a kid in need and immediately jump to help them. You can’t tell me otherwise. She’s the adopted mom of all the Young Avengers.

Well, this is my headcanon, I may write about it someday: 838-Christine and his Stephen got married before Thanos arrived (they figure their relationship out just fine after the events from Dr. Strange). Once the Illuminati find out about this incoming danger, Stephen starts his research and finds the Darkhold. He thinks a lot about the consecuencies and decides to let Christine out of everything by erasing her memories (and everyone else's) from the wedding and all that came after that. The only two people out of that spell were Stephen, of course, and Wong. And why Wong? Because he was always the keeper of secrets and mysteries (and because, secretly, Stephen never trusted 838-Mordo that much either). When Thanos is defeated and Stephen is dead, Christine starts working at the Baxter Foundation and the Illuminati tell her what really happened with Stephen. Then Wong tells her about the spell as well. She goes mad, of course, because Stephen made a desicion for the two of them without even consider her thoughts (once again, being the one who holds the knife in the relationship). She resents him, she's hurt by his actions and he's dead, that changes her life completly. And when 616-Stephen arrives, she doesn't wanna get hurted again. But then this Stephen tell her 'I love you in every universe', and she can finally understand what really happened and let go of that last image of Stephen she had. Because yeah, everything he does it's fucked up, but he does it out of love and fear of losing the people he loves. She can never get her Stephen back to try and help him, but she can tell this Stephen to face his fears, and finally close that chapter of her life.

//My Canon: I follow the closest canon to MCU possible! Stephen after DS2, before the post credit scene. According to the comics, he falls in love with auras and has fallen for beings that aren't even human/are made of energy like Clea, so that would translate into pansexual. His biological age is between 41 and 46 (blipped), his mental age is hundreds of years due to the Time Stone use. Rough Notes/Headcanon below

He used to go all the time, but since joining the Sanctum, he hasn’t really seen the point

It was more to sooth his ego than anything else and now he’s got that gut cringe reaction whenever he thinks about it

But something happens to convince him, maybe a charity thing or an old professor he still admires, something

Either way he doesn’t feel comfortable enough to go alone and so asks Cassandra to come with him

Cassandra never went to college and so has zero experience with this stuff, but Strange will be there so it can’t be that bad, so she agrees

They show up and it’s fine for a bit, until questions inevitably start coming her way

Strange was already a pretty noted alum when he was a surgeon, but now he’s turned superhero/wizard so tongues wag about his date who is very notably not Christine Palmer

Cassandra isn’t exactly making headlines or an active super hero so nobody knows about her abilities or anything about her period

First opening question: where did you go to college? The answer to which is no where.

Cassandra isn’t really bothered by this and even cracks jokes saying she went to the “Hard Knocks State” or “Jackson Hishchool, go Gators”

This throws everyone for a loop because 1) Ivy League types and 2) Strange used to look down on anyone who didn’t have the word Doctor in their name

They mingle for a bit, Cassandra not shying away from the questions they ask, only really leaving out the whole actually a witch and giving birth to an anti-Christ thing

Cassandra then excuses herself for a minute to get some air and another drink

It's then some of Strange's classmates think it's a good time to ask, "what Cassandra's deal was"

Strange is confused since he thought he made is very obvious that they're together

The classmate brushes it off and is like "yeah, yeah, formalities, but seriously, what's actually happening"

Another, less drunk classmate steps in and is like, "Strange, we understand, Christine got married, it's been a crazy five years, everybody needs a rebound"

The other drunk classmate is like, "no denying little miss highschool diploma is smokin' hot, congratulations, honestly. Just let me know when you drop her. I'd be happy to pay her bills for a couple of months"

And that's when Strange punches him

Cassandra walks back in the second it happens and rightly asks, "what the hell"

Strange is about to answer her when the classmate gets up and punches him in retaliation

Chaos ensues, Cassandra and few others holding back Strange and some of the classmates friends holding back him

Insults are thrown, including quite a few at Cassandra, but she holds firm and tells Strange they're going, now

They make it back to the Sanctum and Strange has calmed down a bit, making it easier for Cassandra to sit him down and get a better look at his face

She scolds him a bit for getting into a fight, but Strange counters that if she heard what he said she'd understand; Cassandra tells him she's already got a pretty good idea, she heard some people outside talking. She was actually just planning to tell him she was going home early when the fight started

Strange questions how she can be so calm

Cassandra tells him that she doesn't know them so their opinions don't matter, and besides, she was just planning to put a little hex on them on her way out, she's a witch, not a saint

Strange still feels guilty and says, "You know I don't think that way, right?"

Cassandra tries to brush it off saying she wouldn't be with him if he did, but Strange can't let it go. He knows he used to think that way. There's a reason those classmates even thought saying those things would be okay. He knows he's not the same person he was, but he needs to make sure Cassandra knows that too.

He asks her again, and he finally sees that little crack in her armor

Cassandra had to develop some pretty thick skin, raising a kid all on her own since she was eighteen; if she let ever mildly sexist or classist remark get to her, all she'd be is angry, still words have a way of needling through the thickest walls

Seeing Strange all but begging her to know that he does love her and all those things said about her aren't true, melts away some of those fears she didn't dare name

She ends up staying the night and Strange spends all of that extra time showing her just how much she means to him

1. How did you discover your fave?

I discovered Doctor Strange when rumours started spreading that Benedict would play him. I started researching the character and comics and I cannot put into words how excited I was.

2015? I think that was when it was announced that Benedict would take the role.

Before Endgame I cared a lot more about canon, but now not really. I just use canon as inspiration to create whatever I want with Stephen in my works.

I don’t really have any. I guess you could say my versions of Stephen in my works are HCs though. My Stephen is kind, patient, loving, structured, smart and overall just a good parental figure with lots of love to give.

That’s a scary question ahhh!! Canon Stephen would probably not care to take the time to get to know me. But, I hope he’d see the value of me and my life/freedom and protect it like he does for everyone else.

Of course! Stephen grew up on a farm, his sister drowned in a lake when they were young, went to med school and then the car accident.

I think there’s one fandom that is ”mainstream” as in they like canon Stephen and/or ship him with Christine Palmer. But, since I’m in the starker fandom, I often see Stephen as an addition to that ship. These spaces sort of overlap, but the ”mainstream” fandom and ”Stephen as the addition” fandom are distinctive to me.

21. Describe yourself using something your faves have said!

It’s not a specific quote, but control is a big part of Stephen’s character and his drive. I also have a big need for control, so I can relate to him in that way.

22. If you would feed your fave/s something, what would it be?

Corn? Cornbread? Maybe that would be nostalgic to him.

Like I said before, control. And fear too I guess.

After Endgame I had to rethink how much energy I wanted to invest in canon and fandom. But, then I managed to separate canon Stephen and the Stephen I have created in my works. I’m content with my little Stephen, no matter what happens in canon.

I don’t like crossovers, so I don’t need him to meet anyone.

STUCK CHAPTER 2

Prologue: Christine takes Stephen to her house to understand what's going on while she examinates him, but Stephen may attract some people atention with not so good intentions

She was back, and she was okay. Stephen missed the feeling of her soft aura and that lovely look despite what he just became…well, she was okay with him so nevermind that. "What in the world happened to you, Stephen?" Christine asked while trying to get up, being helped by the creature's arm before he standed up too. "It's such a long story" Stephen replied, afraid of telling her that he absorbed a lot of eldritch creatures for centuries to acomplish his one and only purpose, what would she think of that? She would get even more scared of him, still, by reasonable ways. "Why don't we just get out of here and talk in a more comfortable place?" "Agree" Christine said on a determinated tone, remembering that they were at a unloading dock and someone could see them, most importantly him. "We can't let anyone see you Stephen, i can take you to my house but the thing is how are we gonna get there without being noticed" "I can do something" Stephen proudly said as he opened a portal right inside christine's house just in the bedroom. "You chose that room on purpose, didn't you?" Christine chuckled "You go first, my dear" Stephen said on his traditional arrogant tone. Christine just smiled and entered as he followed her. "now we're- ow!" Stephen grunted when he accidentaly hit the roof due to his form's big size. "Oh" Christine couldn't hold a simpatic laugh as Stephen bowed his head. "Ha ha, very funny" He answered as she gently touched his left arm from the top, avoiding two eyes in order to not hurt them, ending on his hand. The warm brown eyes met the multiple yellow, orange and blue ones. Stephen was hypnotized with Christine's look but again, her talking broke that trance… "Okay now tell me what happened, i don't think you randomly got like that out of nowhere Stephen" Christine scolded, making Stephen wonder what would he say now, freaking out over his own words "Y-you… i-i, i mean, we-" Stephen finally calmed down his talk "I don't know, i just went like that for some reason, and it was painful, then i ended up finding you inconscious when the accident happened" "Then why did you said you brought me back?" Christine raised an eyebrow at Stephen like a mother would ask a lying child, Stephen had to pull out something so he just answered: "You were dying, but i…….i managed to save you and snap you back to reality, Christine" "But…….i thought you……….nevermind" Christine felt instant remorse. Why would Stephen lie about something like that? He was arrogant, sure, and totally capable of pranking her but she knew he loved her even despite all of these factors, besides, it's no joke when a literal demonic creature talks to you. "I'm so sorry, that doubt, wasn't too apropiate…" She helped him to sit since his goat-shaped legs were not used to that pose, then she just curled on him and took a rest….

Not too far from the unloading dock Strange took her, some people you may know watched everything. "You sure you want to get that thing, boss? it doesn't seem like something you would want to mess with" A tall, russian-like guy said "It surely worths some millions" The boss man, now identified as Sonny Burch replied (Editor's note: i know he's located in San Francisco by that time but in my headcanon he was in NY before that) "What about the woman?" A muslim-like henchmen asked "We're gonna need her too, it appears she knows it or is somehow related to it so we could track her way down to find him. Besides, it appears to be friendly to her, we could use that to make it full manipulable" "And then what will we do, may i ask?" The same muslim henchmen questioned "What do you think? Sell him to the highest bidder we can find, after that, we'll find something else…" "Boss, i found the identification of the woman, Christine Palmer, worked at the local hospital and went missing for two years along the doctor Stephen Vincent Strange" "Then we're gonna make a visit tomorrow" Burch grinned on a scary way, and his head filled with one thought: money..

The morning's first sounds traveled throught the window; birds chirping, cars on their daily routine and people walking to either get to their jobs or take their kids to school. Stephen woke with a surprise, Christine on his arms with their ribs together and some of his limbs hugging her along his arms, as she was already woke up and hugging him back. "Good morning, Doctor" She upered her head while he just smirked at her and replied on a sarcastic tone. "Good morning, Doctor Palmer" "What hour is it?" She asked "Like 6 am, it's still to early" The sorcerer lowered her down and put his chin over her head, touching her cheeks slowly, making sure she could be the most comfortable possible, wings covering her like a blanket despite they were already covered by some. "Christine...." Stephen softly whispered "Yes?" The sweet woman raised her eyebrow "You seem so calm with my presence, you don't see what i am? What i could easily do to you if i wanted to? Now i'm just a...." Stephen hesitated to talk, breathing faster and faster... "I'm a horrible monster that doesn't deserve your empathy" Stephen finally spoke, feeling grieve as he backed away from Christine in fear of hurting her. "Stephen........" Christine softly aproached Strange, making a gesture to calm him down and finally reach him. "I have no reasons to be afraid of you, and you neither should be, because you ARE NOT a monster. You're my Stephen Strange, and you have all the right to receive not just my empathy and care, but also my love..." Christine blushed when saying those last words, but she was keeping it locked so many time and it was the oportunity to finally tell him. "Christine, why would you say that?" Strange shockingly reacted, while she just put one hand on his right shoulder, while the other hand touched his cheek. "Because i love you, Stephen" words came out from Christine as they put their heads together. "I'll always love you"

Am I the only one that wants to see or read a fanfic about Stephen and Christine interacting with children at the hospital? Imagine a shy small girl hiding in fear of the doctors behind his leg. Deep inside Stephen is thinking back of small Donna and how much he loved her. Crouching down he explains her, that she hasn't to fear for the doctors or her operation, cause its him that will do it and that he will do all in his might to help her. Christine would smile so bright, thats the Stephen she fell in love with~ The young doctor that wanted to safe lifes

2. Does your muse enjoy housework? 

No. Absolutely not. It's something she knows has to be done, so she does it. Yet she'd much rather stitch up a drunken idiot in the ER than deep clean her apartment. She kind of likes cooking, but she's not the best at it. Her cooking is okay, nothing to rave about. Christine will also purposefully cook meals that require as few dishes as possible. She does not want to clean those. At least not by herself.

15. What is your muse’s primary love language?  ( words of affirmation, acts of service, receiving gifts, quality time, or physical touch )

Words of affirmation and physical touch, for sure. I mean, so may of her scenes with Stephen show her touching him to try and comfort him or to show him love. And then there's her using her words to get to him. Words mean a lot to her, and she takes what people say to heart. That's why she's so quick to cut Stephen off after he yells at her. She doesn't take that crap, because to her that's what he means. That's the kind of love (or lack there of) that he was giving her in that moment.
