Hey. I’m not trying to be rude. You know what I never understood?? Why Lian Harper, the daughter of Roy and Jade, would call herself “Red Hood” in the future. Pretty sure she’s never met Jason yet. I wouldn’t want her to have a Titans name either—and they’re her second family. That’s why I like that she’s going by Cheshire Cat. She’s taking a name/similar name that has been used to do bad (though I acknowledge the complex character of Jade) and is using it for good. The Titans (and some connected characters) are all about breaking away from what their childhood was like and giving their children a better one. So. Reflect that in a character name.
EDIT: I apologize. I meant when the fandom puts her as Red Hood with the intention to bring her closer to Jason.
