Juby lee and Tim Drake dated for a bit during a crossover events, because they were both the teenagers sidekicks at the time. Now in current comics Juby Lee is described definitely in her early 20s and is a mother, while Tim is STILL 17.

Ok, I have just read Avengers Dissemble. It was something that I always wanted to do since it is basically the start of Wanda villain arc, House of M, Civil War and other things. And while I don't have time to unpack all that, I just wanna point out that it's all kinda of Janet van Dyne fault?
Ok maybe I'm exaggerating because I don't actually like Janet that much, but I had always assumed that what reminded Wanda of her kids was a big accident, or a slip-up. Instead it was stupid tasteless joke?Really? And it is a bad joke too. Zero empathy. If you wanna know she basically said "Oh Wow lucky I'm not pregnant, I couldn't manage a kid, how could you think you could have two?" While they were in the pool just chilling. That is not a slip up. Especially considering she excuses herself by saying "Whoops" and dipping, leaving Wanda alone and perplexed. D**k Move

I found funny how while his whole family is doing something in comics, Tommy just chills out. It's not like he was in limbo or retired or writers forgot about him, he just doesn't do anything. His boyfriend is lost in time, the whole nation of Krakoa it's burning and thousands of mutants are missing/haunted down, and it's not like he is in the avengers or helping another superhero. He is just at home taking care of an old man, going to work and dodging weird prophecies that are never bring out again. I think he had such a wild life and his family is ,well, the MagnetFamily that he just decided to come around if there is something funny to do, or he just chills out with a Margherita while the world burns. Honestly, as he should.

I don't know about DC's Dragon ladies being more complex in the 90s. That's when Shiva got on that "corrupt white heroes" kick starting with Chuck Dixon and when Jade nuked Qurac.
Sorry, my bad, I meant the 90s as in older comics, I chose that period because it's the middle ground for me in comics before the Great Edginess that came in the early 2000s. And yes, I still think that while very badly written, they were way more complex. Like I felt they at least were doing their own thing, instead now they ( Talia, Shiva, Shado, Chesh ect) are like the same character in different font. Most of the time in the modern comics they are just the ex/baby mama to go to when in needing of something "morally grey". And like they took their motivation, ideals and backstories and thrown them together. Shiva absolutely didn't want to be a mother and was way more on the side of good in her firts appearances, yet now she always loved Cass and lived in Asia, even if she was from Detroit (let's not talk about the whole David thing and how people treat it as consensual) , Talia who was in medical school and wasn't raised as an assasin is now the world deadliest woman. Shado, Who wanted to be a mother and raise her child in private, I think she was retired, basically turned into a Jade2.0.
Actually I think they all basically became Jade. Like the backstory was hers before. The struggle between her morals, wanting to live with her child but also being a danger, being raised as a weapon, all that was hers, but in modern comics all seems copypaste for these ladies. I think it is starting to get to Rose Wilson too. Like in a few years you will read how Lilith trained her to climb mountains since she was three.
Anyway, sorry for the long post, but I love my ladies so much, even with their messed up stories, and the modern narrative of "let's ignore everything this character has gone through in the past because I need them as a prop for one of the batboys" is really pissing me off.

You know , after the initial schock is gone, I'm kinda hoping they don't go with the easy time travel ending and actually do the Death Horseman Arc. Because fuck it, if you wanna do angst then we angst.
Like his actual last words were "Remember It" talking about his name, imagine. Then Rouge get to be the knight in shining armour and save him.

I genuinely think that by some paradox DC was WAY more inclusive and "woke" in the '90 than now. Like so many POC characters, the firsts queer relationship in comics, many more disabled characters and representation than today. Not all of them were written well, mind you, but at least they were doing something instead of just showing up during Pride moth and then disappearing in limbo forever after a couple of cheesy lines. And we are not talking enough of all the disabilities erasure in the last years.

I think Asaden deserves the Eremika alternative ending. The one were they leave everything behind and live with themselves in peace not caring about anybody else in the world. Not every manga has to have a sad ending. Just let them have a family. It would also kinda mirror Reze wish. I need it.

SPOILERSS!!
I think the big problem of the pjo show it's that it tells the story like we already know the ending. Take Luke for example. I've read all the books, I know that in the end he was the hero and was only misguided, but you're not supposed to know until the Last Olympian. At the end of the first book we are supposed to loathe him, not feeling already sympathetic. I think the betrayal scene should have stayed the same, no need to change it by overexplain.
So this were the biggest three problems of the show:
• Supposing We already know (Takes things for granted losing bit of connections)
• Overexplaing ( sometime it was just too much, killed the tension)
• The Effects ( Trident Scene I'm looking at you)
That said I really enjoyed the show and honestly it could have been a lot worse.

Gotham Sirens! Six AU
Because what's better that six awesome ladies that deserved better ? Even more six awesome ladies that deserved better.
( Note for the ex-wives I'm talking about the fictional musical, not the real historic figures)
I've had this idea for forever, and I finally found every counter part:
Talia Al Ghul- Catherine of Aragon
Queens. Extremely Loyal. Love their children. Should have got out of the situation. Powerful Connections
Selina Kyle - Anne Boleyn
Just a party gal ;D ( it's actually one of the most complex and deep person out there but gets reduced as nothing more that the sexy girl)
Andrea Beaumont- Jane Seymour
Wish both were more in to the spotlight (pun, laugh, now thank you). Never got to see their son grow up :'I. Both were so much in love and just wanted a family.
Natalia Knight- Anne of Cleves
Got the better end of the stick. Classy. Sassy. Umboterd queen was to beautiful for the man to even look at. Rich AF.
Harleen Quinzel - Katherine Howard
Only used as a sexual object by men? Blamed for their actions even if they were forced into it ? Is still seen only as a sexual thing because it's "empowering" and not a fucking resoult of their trauma? Still demed child like and immature? You bet.
Pamela Isley - Catherine Parr
Girlboss. Couldn't be with the one she loved because of some stinky man. Indipendet but also really compassionate ( Yes Poison Ivy could simply take over the planet and kill humans in their sleep but she choose to be a cottage core lesbian, she is compassionate, or at least pitying)
Does this make Bruce Henry? Kinda. Will I apologize? No. Should I have named this "Bruce Wayne's Ex-Wives"? Yes, but it didn't sound that catchy and we are not here to talk about him.
I need someone to animate this please, it would be awesome. I need my pop group of comics anti- heroes. They become the family and support they never actually got. They do a tour and talk shit of Lex Luther together. Joker is gone in negative five seconds. They bring the kids to their concerts and organise concerts with the Birds of Prey. I need this group somewhere in the comics please. Lady Shiva is their bodyguard that absolutely doesn't wanna be there but is forced to, Onyx Adams founds it very funny , turns out Shado is a really good manager and Jade and Rose get (adopted) brought along for the ride.

Honestly is a great shame that Talia left to become a successful doctor in Africa in the early 2000 and hasn't appeared since. Truly a great character. DC even had to replace her with an evil shape shifter. I know she would have loved Damian.

The others Wayne relatives have been trying to reach Bruce for a month to ask why the fuck some random dude has the family manor. The only reason no one already went to Gotham is because they are all extremely rich I think. But still the family home. That belonged to them to centuries, and no one shows up? Gotham War should have been a family drama where the Wayne come back to town just to bully Bruce, get back their house, argue, pinch Damian cheeks and then leaving the manor to the batkids because onestly Gotham sucks and they all have lives somewhere else.

Guys, have you ever wondered about Roy bio mother? Like is she still alive, has she abandoned him, did she die with his father?
I personally have headcanons for her, but there is nothing in canon, excepts that maybe her name was Anna, in nearly 80 years of Roy character she was literally never mentioned. I just think it has potential. Sadly is a trend we see often in comics, were the dead mother character is never mentioned or only sanctified.
