2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4-1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp fat (shortening or butter)
~3/4 cup hot water
1) combine dry
2) rub fat into dry ingredients until fully incorporated
3) add hot water until a nice dough forms then knead until smooth and elastic, about five minutes
4) rest 20 minutes, heat oil
5) roll out to 1/4 inch thickness and cut into desired shapes
6) fry until golden on each side. If oil is correct temperature they’ll puff up like pillows pretty quickly (a little above medium heat)
7) toss in cinnamon sugar or serve with honey and/or powdered sugar OR fill with savory burrito components but like probably not both at the same time

Left-over Salmon in a Rice Wrapper
It's never too late to save foods that "chill" in the fridge. Luckily this one is still good! This is my official food experiment number one! Where I try to get creative on my foods as much as possible.
See more for recipe!
Ingredients
1 chunk of left over salmon
1 red sweet pepper
1 orange sweet pepper
1 yellow sweet pepper
1 garlic clove
Garlic salt
Chili Flakes (optional if you like it spicy)
Sesame oil
Rice Wrapper for the spring rolls
Directions for the Filling:
Chop the peppers and mince the garlic.
Cut the chunk of salmon into smaller pieces.
In a pan, smear the sesame oil all over the pan.
Heat up the pan. To check if the pan is hot enough, add a drop of water. Once the water sizzles, you're ready to add the minced garlic.
Let the garlic cook for 2 minutes. Once the pan starts drying up, add a few splashes of water.
Add the peppers and let it cook for 3 minutes.
Whenever the pan dries up, add a few splash of water.
Add a dash of garlic salt. You may add more if it's not salty enough.
Add the shredded salmon and add a splash of water.
Top it with chili flakes and you're done with the sauté part!
For the rice rapper
Gently wet a rice wrapper
Add the Filling and wrap it
You may wrap it in a burrito style or the spring roll style. I wrapped mine in a spring roll style
Click the link on how to properly wrap the spring rolls
Enjoy!

Dc x dp idea 80
Danny’s parents don’t take the reveal well. They promise to hunt down phantom and and fix there baby boy. The king Phantom must be possessing Danny. He must be after information on the mortal realm to take it over.
This leads to Danny on the run.
Now he has access to the resources of the realm. He also never tells anyone he left amity because his parents were hunting him down. He just told them he wanted to travel like Ellie.
He earns money and whatnot by selling extinct or near extinct ingredients. Stuff used for spells and other hard to find items. Ghost in the realm are happy enough to tell him where they hid there stashes and the realms plant life is all extinct plants. Those that died out.
This leads to him meeting Zatana and other magic heros (if they have a bad vibe he won’t sell to them). He avoids John. He’s received numerous warnings about the soul seller.
He is in the middle of a transaction when Jack and Maddie locate him. They then proceeded to capture him all while screaming about “fixing” him.
Danny shockingly enough had been concealing his identity. They didn’t need to know he was only 15. And of course he was wearing a device to hide his ecto signature.
During jack and Maddie’s attack. Both his disguise and device are ruined.
Now the magic user knows Danny is at least a partly human child and the king of the infinite realm. Who is being attacked.

i think the most annoying part of dog food discourse is how many people will act as though proplan/hill’s/Royal canin diets aren’t extremely and prohibitively expensive and that THAT is the reason so many people look into healthy alternatives.
People complain about corn being in the first five ingredients on most of those feeds because, regardless of other factors here, that is not an expensive ingredient. But it makes up a large chunk of the dry food. So the dry food should be fairly affordable, right?
Oh… with tax you’re spending about $100 for one 45lb bag of food where the third ingredient is wheat and the fourth and fifth ingredients are corn.
Oh… well! It’s slightly cheaper! But the second ingredient is rice, third is wheat, fourth is corn, and then fifth is poultry byproduct. None of those are very expensive so this just must be the low end cost of dog food unfortunately. The vets recommend it so surely that means prices aren’t inflated, right?
Oh? This one has similar ingredients with the only real difference being no corn? And it’s half the price?? Well surely that’s just a fluke.
Oh. Oh no.
This one even has CORN in it and it’s $20 cheaper?? Wow!
Like listen at some point I don’t care if your dog food has the ichor of the gods in it, I’m not spending $100 every five days if there are cheaper options with just as many “good” ingredients in it. If you think I’m a dog abuser because I can’t afford this overpriced garbage, that’s too bad. I don’t care. My dogs are perfectly healthy with the food I give them. Great weight and great coat. People giving dog food recommendations that aren’t those top three hyper-expensive dog foods aren’t trying to epic own those dastardly vets half the time, but I really don’t blame the ones who do lose trust in vets when the only heartworm protection they recommend lately are expensive triple-action brands like Simparica Trio that costs $120+ as opposed to the other heartworm protections that are only about $40-$60 on average, which is still cheaper even if you add on a $20-$40 flea and tick protection separately, and only recommend dog food that costs $85+ a bag even if your dog doesn’t have specialized dietary needs.
Those top three foods are GREAT at making competent prescription diets, I don’t deny that. I do still have to criticize the pricing of those prescription diets though because I have spoken to DOZENS of people who had to pull their pets off of a prescription diet and struggle to find something comparable because they couldn’t afford the food, and that’s terrible! These are not poor companies! Purina, Royal Canin, and Hill’s can ABSOLUTELY afford to lower their prices to make their food accessible to people who need it for their animals but they don’t. They probably never will. Because at the core they are run by greedy corporations. It doesn’t matter how many good nutritionists are on board if the company is run by people who put profits over customers and make the food impossible for people to afford.

Did you know La Mer products are so expensive because after the CEO got badly burned in an aero-space engineering accident he began researching a local kelp that grew very fast. He then claimed he created a "miracle broth" by playing gurgling noises and flashing lights at the kelp which he would then rub directly into his open eyes and eat by the handful. After his death, Estee Lauder the corporation contacted a spirit medium to hold a seance that supposedly contacted him in the afterlife so they could perfectly recreate his original plans for how to make the "miracle broth" because literally no one could recreate whatever he was doing. To this day they claim they have no idea how the products work or why. This is why their moisturizer costs like $500

Oo interesting do they out them in a little bunker so they all came 'Live' in a sense? Because that completely puts my What if in a whole interesting (and hopefully many comical shenanigans)
Yeah, I suppose you could say that! Both RED and BLU alike have about 5 or 6 massive underground bunkers/factories scattered across the globe entirely dedicated to creating these clones. Obviously, they're secret. I'm very unoriginal, so I just made the clone test tube babies, because I don't really know any other way clones could be made?? These big underground facilities are scientist safe havens! Just imagine: biology teacher by day, and evil clone scientist by night where you can practically do whatever experiments you want. You're living the dream of every mad scientist out there!

i saw a tiktok where wolfgang puck said his go-to lazy dinner was parmesan cheese topped with olive oil and black pepper so now when i'm in my kitchen, eating oil-soaked wedges of cheese over the sink at eleven o'clock at night, i can think "wolf would love this."

And you know what, for my own fun: I've been meaning to write about these cookbooks for a while even though I'm not sure that would be too interesting lmao but I think I'll make a post about whatever book wins, before i make the recipe. Like what I think about it and whatnot. Obviously I haven't made every recipe from every book but I just really love these books
