Creating a character using astrology:
A fun way to create a character (or just make for fun using your existing characters) is by making a birth chart for them. You can break down a character’s personality easily, and connect each part to ensure a well rounded and unique person/creature/object/etc. I like to do it using the Sun - Mars Method.
Sun sign - Who the character is at their core. This represents your ego or pride. It is a key factor in assessing someones’s overarching personality as well as their goals in life. You can even tie in theme with the sun sign. For example, I have noticed many protagonist are Aries. That is because Aries are driven and passionate, they push the story along on their backs because they refuse to quit.
Moon sign - If the sun is your outer personality, the moon is your internal world. This includes a character’s emotions and how they handle them. Are they someone who cries to relieve pressure or do they compartmentalize? Water Moons are more emotional, inwardly and outwardly, while Air Moons are more disattached and rational.
Rising sign - This is your social personality, how others see your character and how they interact with the world. It can also give details about outward appearance. For example many Leo Risings are noted to have beautiful hair and Aries Risings often have facial scars.
Mercury sign - This is the planet of communication, intellect, and memory. This is how your character thinks and speaks think and speak. Blunt? Sly? Think things through or jump right in? This is what Mercury tells you. For example, Libra Mercuries can be more diplomatic than Sagittarius Mercuries, who are more blunt.
Venus sign - This can tell you how someone acts in their relationships, (platonic and romantic) as well as a lot about their aesthetics. Are they a commitment phobe or do they seek out relationships? How do they dress, casual, always flashy, or something in between? Pisces and Aquarius Venuses have more of an acletic style while Virgo Venuses tend to lean preppy and polished.
Mars sign - This is the planet of aggression. It can tell you how someone acts in conflict as well as how they work. Are their arguments methodical, logical? Do they fly off the handle or avoid everything all together? Cancer Mars can be reactive, sensitive and are known to hold grudges. Aquarius Mars will make you feel crazy with their distant nature and stubbornness.

💕4th house represents how u live and your comfort & how you are used to living - Taurus in 4th house - means you are used to comfort, money, luxury and material things. Can I get a bingo card for a friend?
Yes, but you must donate twice (or more), even if it means donating $5 USD each time. I will issue you two (or more) cards, and you can give them out as you wish.
Can I donate without participating in the bingo?
Totes. Just ignore all the bingo stuff if you want. But you won't get any cool prizes!
What if, on the bingo card, I see a prediction that I know is true?
If, for example, Miu survives the game and you know it, don't mark the space until I get to that point in the game. This means that you do not get a bingo until I get to that point in the game. (Example: if you need the "Miu survives" space to get a bingo, it's not a bingo until I get there. I tried to balance this out by providing spaces about the way I play the game, too.)
Is this really your first time playing v3?
Yes. I know like two spoilers (the killer and victim of trial 1, for example) and I understand the characters' personalities from Summer Camp, but I've never played the game.
Isn't it a little weird to play a killing game...game for Trans Lifeline?

Nobody Talks About Ophiuchus
So back in January 2011, a news article from the Minnesota Planetarium Society made headlines. The article, titled "Your Astrological Sign Just Changed. Thanks, NASA," claimed that due to changes in the Earth's alignment, there should be a shift in the zodiac, leading to the inclusion of a new zodiac sign—Ophiuchus. Controversy alert, am I right?
Well, this stirred A LOT of astrological drama up in the communities back then, and it recently piqued my interest to want to know why it existed in the first place and furthermore… why nobody talks about it. Not that I'm interested in changing my zodiac and potentially MY WHOLE BIRTHCHART! I'm just a curious lil chipper, so… what's Ophiuchus—the "thirteenth zodiac's" deal anyway?
Ophiuchus, the underdog of the zodiac, is positioned along the celestial equator. The cosmic serpent bearer has been in the cosmic chorus since ancient times. But although it shares the stage with its twelve zodiac companions, it doesn't quite share the spotlight like the rest. Suddenly, it began grabbing headlines and chaos ensued. Myths that said astrology was starting to get outdated floated everywhere, and unappetizing astrological misconceptions were served for breakfast AND dinner with the side of ignorance and muggle mentality.
But the truth behind all of the Ophiuchus attention was found in the origins of the traditional twelve-sign zodiac system itself. After hopping onto the astro-time machine, I found out that the Babylonian astronomers were the first WESTERN celestial scribes, dividing the sky into twelve equal acts, each starring a constellation along the Sun's yearly journey—the apparent path of the Sun across the sky, or simply known as the Ecliptic. The Greeks (particularly the Hellenistic Greeks) later picked up the script and named the constellations—Aries, Taurus, and Gemini, giving birth to our twelve main characters. This celestial drama then evolved over centuries; each zodiac sign became associated with certain symbolic meanings, qualities, and characteristics. These associations were often based on observations of the natural world, seasonal changes, and the perceived influence of celestial bodies on Earth, becoming the astrological playbook we now know.
The thing is, though, that the Babylonians knew of Ophiuchus back then; they just chose not to include it in the big 12 because it disrupted something they held at great value—symmetry. They wanted each zodiac to take up 30 degrees in the sky—that's the answer to why Ophiuchus is not included in traditional astrology. Yup, nothing fancy. The Babylonians just had a pet peeve, I guess, lmao.
But for those curious, here's some information on Ophiuchus:

TWICE Sana Birthchart Analysis
Based on my opinion and observations. Not an expert. May change later.

Sun in Capricorn tends to be a bit reserved and practical. Always working towards success, goal oriented and never gives up easily. However this could also lead to stubborness.
Leo moon is an expressive and creative moon sign - they never hide their feelings and are not shy to express their true emotions. Sana rarely hides anything on her face, she always shows what she's feeling.
Capricorn and Leo combo makes for a playful yet also serious and determined individual. Cap's humor is seriously underrated and is even funnier with the addition of Leo's jokester side. Charismatic and affectionate, able to charm almost everyone. Seems to be aware of her image and always tries to present herself in a good way (may be a way to obtain control and power as well)
Both signs are quite ambitious, so it explains Sana's discipline and work ethic (e.g studying very hard on Korean; even native speakers acknowledge how well spoken she is). Especially with her Mars Virgo (a workaholic Mars), Sana is not a slacker at all and takes all of her responsibilities seriously. She knows what she wants and will work hard for it. Nothing breaks an earth sun and mars determination tbh.
Sun and moon combo is also quite innovative and Sana has come up with interesting solutions to problems before.
Virgo Mars and Capricorn Jupiter trines so that solidifies her hardworking nature; she's smart and knows how to apply her best skills and efforts to achieve her goals.
Some possibility of issues with frustration and anger, needing to learn how to express it healthily. Honestly though, I think it's just a Capricorn thing to have anger issues in general lol
May experience a lot of tough obstacles in her life, which tests yet builds her strength and character. Sana seems quite self critical and has high standards for herself and everyone, so when those expectations aren't met, she can be very intense about it.
However though, she still likes to be energetic and fun; she wants a nice and comfortable atmosphere. I don't think she is comfortable with her intense feelings much.
Venus in Sagittarius can make her drawn to adventurous and curious people. Her moon and venus trine, which could explain her very affectionate and warm nature.
Capricorn stellium (sun, mercury, and jupiter) enhances her Capricorn traits. Sana prefers to have structure and organization in her life (or tries to be; i know she is a bit clumsy and loses things sometimes lol), at least has an organized approach to her work. Success and achievement are one of her top priorities. She can take charge when necessary and stand her ground in times of conflict. This also makes her deeply caring of loved ones - Capricorns care a lot about close ones and show their love by being a protector and provider for them.
Possible rising/ascendant: Leo. Sana is just so bright and energetic, she radiates warmth like the Sun. She's so friendly and kind and people are drawn to her as Leo risings are just so naturally eye catching. As for her placements, her sun could be in 6th house, along with mercury and jupiter...Venus in 5th suits her I think (artsy, energetic, passionate)... Saturn in 9th would go along with the overall need of structure and discipline Sana has already.

raised with manners, so they're very respectful. especially of their elders and women. they don't eat first when elders are present, they offer assistance with tasks ( normally being the first to jump to help someone ), they tend to offer to listen to someones worries, etc.
since their power is based on internal balance an yin and yang, they can be found doing a lot of activities around campus to clear their mind from time to time. ranging from yoga in the morning, to sketching, jogging, endurance workouts, forcing themself to relax, and burning incense. think uncle iroh but as a modern day, 23 year old college student. when their energy ( chi ) isn't balanced, they experience disharmony, a very tiring process that causes the typical results of disharmony except ... personified. so gender switching to female, being depressed, stressed and anxious with tummy issues ( normal hot girl sh*t imo ) all at the same time and against their will etc.
contrary to how i explain them, they are not as calm, collected nor as wise as uncle iroh. they more so have the personality of zuko, around when he started being hot and also sokka. so sarcastic, awkward, still a hot head, playfully, clumsy, and always cracking a joke or two. the vibes of a beloved leader that probably shouldn’t be leading.
they're wanderlust coded. i have this weird headcanon of them, where its a day off and they just turn off their phone at night and go for a walk in the city and just exist, looking at the city lights, sitting and looking at the river, grabbing ice cream even though its cold out side and then eventually heading back to the dorms as if they didn't just disappear for a few hours without a word. they definitely do this often too, while eating some cheap buy buy one get one snack they bought at the a convenience store.
despite how they may act sometimes, they love skinship; on that note, physical touch & quality time are their love languages.
silly but their side of the dorm follows the rules of feng shui and they’d probably playfully nag their roommate ( or any friend really ) to let them just to rearrange one of their things so their stuff fits in the room a little better.
following the ( TW ) death of their grandmother, they fell into the deepest depression and stopped wearing the patch for a while, ( no longer than a month ). the extremely negative emotions they faced kept them female the entire time, but soon enough they caught feelings for someone. feeling happier, they started the went back on the patch again. in the crudest tldr; they got their heart broken pretty badly. they decided to go off of the nullivi patch one last time after falling head over heels for a normal person. the showed them their ability, and just to be completely truthful about who they were, they shifted. it backfired pretty quickly and they were shunned, shamed and rejected. this is one incident they still struggle with letting go, and it currently affects how they view / form relationships.
they don't hate nullivi but they don't like it either. it messes with their internal balance which can make it tough to use their powers later and requires a pretty strict regimen when off of nullivi to balance their energies again.
They actively seek connections. They’d give anything to connect and have someone understand them, deeply and intrinsically without feeling like they’re being judged for who they are. They want to be able to open up and have someone see them for them; for whats really the inside and not just whats the outside, no matter what form they may take.

Amilyn Holdo being an astrology girl is one of the best takeaways from Leia Princess of Alderaan, as well as confirming that there is a belief in the mystical side of astrology within the star wars universe.
Because as a fellow astrology girl I know she was looking at Poe and trying to figure out where their version of aries sits on his birthchart. Although whoever decided Poe's canon birthday did do their research.
Now that I'm on a tangent forgive me for delving into a fictional characters astrology in proposing a basic birth chart for Poe since this is something I've thought about (more than I should) but considering I'm an amateur astrologer it's inevitable.
Canonically he is a taurus sun when we subtract the different galaxies/planets part, but that is also canonically what Holdo studies so... He reads as being very water/fire sign heavy due to his sensitivity, but I think an Aquarius rising would fit him well with a Sagittarius moon since Aquarius is very much the dreamer of the signs, while still being quite stubborn and rebellious, while Sagittarius is all about freedom and exploration. These placements combined is "i belong to the stars" personified.
I'd put Aries for his mercury since there's a level of frustration and sensitivity when it comes to communication, especially when it doesn't go the way he wants, while still being quick and confident with his decisions in the field, although it could also lean towards Leo considering the leadership role he takes on.
Poe is a water sign venus, no discussion. I would put him at first glance as a cancer venus, however due to how important commitment is to him and the lengths he will go to due to that along with his all or nothing approach to things I could equally label him as an example of a healthy scorpio venus. I would also label Kes as being one as well actually. A passionate and sensual lover, completely and utterly committed, loyal as loyal can be, although prone to some intense emotional fluctuations when dealing with perceived rejections and arguments. Although his Taurus sun balances this and leads him to optimistically bunker down, have faith, and work things out due to how strongly he values loyalty to the point of self destruction and having a strong concentration of fixed signs in his chart. But being a water venus there will still be the sniping poutier moments and we've seen how he either lets those emotions out with little censorship or he shuts down and internalises them. Sensitive, passionate, committed, cares deeply, needs physical and emotional intimacy (snuggler to the extreme and a bit clingy if allowed but that's a positive). Deserves to be the little spoon.
As for mars this is where I would confidently put aries- impulsive, must take action, spontaneous, easily irritated by indirectness from others (connecting this one back to holdo there). He is meant to take charge, and doesn't know any other way to go about things, direct (and is awful when trying to not be direct.) He has to take action and get's extremely frustrated when he can't. It meshes well with those Aquarius and Sag placements, a dreamer, freedom seeker, and someone who lives for the thrill of things while doing what's right. If you've made it this far having aries/scorpio in mars/venus speaks enough about the bedroom.
Jupiter, I could also put this one in cancer or aries, leaning towards aries. The further the charts goes from here the more generalised it is since one sign covers generations so I'll stop at this point, considering he'd share many of the later placements with Ben Solo, Karé Kun, etc.
But considering this type of astrology is canon in star wars I'm gonna have a field day with it.

today is my birthday, and to celebrate i'm paying homage to aot characters and their big 3 zodiac signs. a few things though:
a. the website i used doesn't allow for triple digit years, so i assigned a birth year based on their age of the completed manga, plus a year since the manga officially ended, plus whether they have had a birthday already or not, and worked around that. i also use 12:00PM as a time, and Oita, Japan as a birthplace
b. we'd be here forever if i laid out everyone's birthchart, so i'm only doing sun/moon/rising. your sun sign represents your ego and motives, your moon sign represents how you handle your emotions, and your rising represents how present yourself.

นอกเหนือจากการใช้องศาเพื่อดูระยะที่ดาวในพื้นดวงจะทำมุมต่างๆต่อกัน ดูคุณภาพของดาวในเรื่องของ Dignity รวมถึงเรื่อง degree thoery ที่ได้ให้ความหมายของแต่ละองศาตั้งแต่ 0 - 29 แล้ว องศาก็สามารถบอกช่วงอายุที่เราจะได้พบเจอเหตุการณ์ตาม story ของดาวหรือ placement ค่ะ
ซึ่งช่วงอายุที่นี้ ก็ไม่ใช่ว่า มีองศาดาวอยู่ที่ 27-29 องศา ต้องรอจนอายุ 27-29 ถึงจะได้เจอประสบการณ์ตามดาวนั้นๆนะคะ แค่ว่าถ้าช่วงอายุของเราตรงกับองศาของดาวพอดี เหตุการณ์ก็จะมีความเข้มข้นเด่นชัดเป็นพิเศษ เพราะจริงๆแล้วในช่วงอายุอื่นๆที่สัมพันธ์กัน (คูณ 2 และ หาร 2 เช่น องศาที่ 28 จะสัมพันธ์กับช่วงอายุ 14, 28, 56 ปี) เราก็สามารถพบเจอเหตุการณ์ที่เข้ามาตาม Theme ของดาวได้เช่นกันค่ะ
ก่อนที่จะเข้าสู่หัวข้อหลัก จะขออธิบายถึงเทคนิคในการอ่านองศากันก่อนสักนิดค่ะ ในบางตำรานั้น องศาจะสัมพันธ์กับ Expression การแสดงออกซึ่งลักษณะและคุณสมบัติของดาวนั้นๆ เปรียบเหมือนกับช่วงวัยของมนุษย์
ดาวในองศาต้น (early degree 0-9) ก็เหมือนกับเด็กน้อยที่เพิ่งเกิดบนโลก หรือยังเยาว์วัย ไม่ได้มีประสบการณ์การใช้ชีวิตบนโลกมากนัก ยังต้องมีการปรับเปลี่ยน ต้องได้เติบโตพัฒนา ต้องได้เจอโลกเจอสิ่งต่างๆเข้ามาอีกมาก
ดาวในองศากลาง (mid degree 10-19) เปรียบได้กับคนเราในช่วงวัยรุ่น เติบโตประมาณหนึ่ง มีประสบการณ์ชีวิตประมาณหนึ่ง แต่ก็ยังมีอีกหลายเรื่องที่ต้องเรียนรู้ และเป็นช่วงวัยที่ความเป็นตัวเอง การแสดงออกซึ่งตัวตนเริ่มชัดเจน เป็นช่วงที่เต็มไปด้วยพลังชีวิตและความสดใส
ดาวในองศาปลาย (late degree 20-29) เปรียบได้กับวัยผู้ใหญ่ที่ผ่านโลก ผ่านร้อนผ่านหนาวในชีวิตมามากมาย มีประสบการณ์ชีวิตมาก ตัวตน Character คงที่
นอกจากนี้ องศาของดาวในบางตำรายังใช้ดูถึง Karma ดูว่าเราสั่งสมประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับดาวนั้นๆมามากน้อยแค่ไหน ซึ่งตรงนี้จะสัมพันธ์กับการอ่านเรื่องอดีตชาติได้ เช่นว่า ดาวในองศาปลาย สามารถบ่งบอกว่าเรามีบทเรียน มีประสบการณ์เกี่ยวกับดาวนั้นๆมามากและเข้มข้น ส่วนดาวในองศาต้น บ่งบอกว่าในอดีตชาติชีวิตของเราอาจไม่ได้ focus ไปที่เรื่องราวตามดาวนั้นเท่าไหร่ ไม่ใช่ความสนใจหลัก ยังมี room to grow ยังมีอะไรที่เราต้องพบเจอและเรียนรู้อีกมากจนกว่าเราจะ reach the maturity กับดาวนั้นๆ

ซึ่งในวันนี้ สิ่งที่อยากจะกล่าวถึงก็คือ องศาของดาวศุกร์ในพื้นดวง (Degree of Venus) ซึ่งมีความสัมพันธ์กับช่วงอายุที่เราจะได้พบเจอความรัก ได้เจอความสัมพันธ์ที่เข้ามามีบทบาท ส่งผลกับชีวิตของเราในทางใดทางหนึ่งค่ะ
ดาวศุกร์ (Venus) จัดเป็น Personal Planet ธาตุดิน สัมพันธ์กับราศีพฤษภและราศีตุลย์
ดาวศุกร์นั้นมีความหมายเกี่ยวข้องกับ ความรักความสัมพันธ์ รสนิยม 5 senses รูปรสกลิ่นเสียงสัมผัส จริต เสน่ห์ เงินตรา อาหาร สิ่งปรุงแต่ง
ความสวยงามที่เน้นไปทางจับต้องได้ ความสุขสำราญ ความปรารถนา
ความปรองดอง ความร่วมมือร่วมใจ สันติภาพ สุนทรีย์ โลกีย์ ศิลปะ
ในช่วงชีวิตที่อายุของเราตรงกับองศาของดาวศุกร์ในพื้นดวง ก็จะเป็นช่วงที่ชีวิตเราได้ไปข้องเกี่ยวกับเรื่องราวตามความหมายของดาวศุกร์เป็นพิเศษ
อาจเป็นช่วงที่เราดูแลตัวเองดี รักสวยรักงาม ใส่ใจพิถีพิถันกับการเลือกสรรวัตถุรอบตัว ค่อนข้างวัตถุนิยม ให้ความสำคัญกับความสุขทางกายและใจ
และถ้าพื้นดวงเรื่องคู่ครองความรักไม่ได้เสีย ก็จะเป็นช่วงอายุที่เราจะได้พบเจอความรักเข้ามาได้ค่ะ

จากการเก็บสถิติจากตัวเองและเพื่อนรอบตัว ได้ข้อสันนิษฐานเบื้องต้นจากองศาของดาวศุกร์ดังนี้ค่ะ
สำหรับคนที่มีดาวศุกร์อยู่ในองศาต้น (0-9) ในช่วงอายุที่พอจำความได้ หลายคนก็จะมี puppy love มีแฟนสมัยอนุบาล สมัยประถม คนกลุ่มนี้จะเจอความรักเข้ามาในชีวิตได้ง่ายๆและเข้ามาเรื่อยๆ ไม่ได้รู้สึกอึดอัดที่จะมีความรักความสัมพันธ์ มองว่ามันเป็นเรื่องที่น่าค้นหาน่าเรียนรู้ คนกลุ่มนี้จะมีบุคลิกภายนอกเป็นคนที่สดใส ร่าเริง เปิดเผยเสน่ห์ดึงดูดให้คนเข้าหา อยากพูดคุยอยู่ตลอด
สำหรับคนที่มีดาวศุกร์ในองศากลาง (10-19) วัยที่คนกลุ่มนี้เริ่มมีความรักจริงจังก็จะโตขึ้นมาอีกขั้น ถ้าไม่ได้นับความรักวัยเด็กน้อยแบบสมัยอนุบาล/ประถม หลายคนก็จะมีความรักครั้งแรกแบบจริงจัง ได้แอบชอบใครสักคนจริงจัง หรือมีแฟนคนแรกในช่วงวัยนี้ คนกลุ่มนี้จะรู้สึกสบายใจ พึงพอใจ ยินดีกับการมีความรักความสัมพันธ์ ไม่ได้มองเป็นเรื่องที่น่าอึดอัดหรือกระอักกระอ่วนใจ ดาวศุกร์แสดงลักษณะตามตำแหน่งและคุณภาพออกมาได้เต็มที่ในช่วงวัยนั้น
สำหรับคนที่มีดาวศุกร์ในองศาปลาย (20-29) ไม่ใช่ว่าเราจะเจอความรักหรือสนใจเรื่องความรักในช่วงนี้อย่างเดียวเสมอไป แต่จะคล้ายๆกับความเป็น late bloomer คือในช่วงวัยก่อน 20 อาจรู้สึกว่าตัวเองอยู่ผิดที่ผิดทาง ไม่เหมาะกับการมีความรัก ยังไม่เจอความรักที่ลงตัว หรืออาจรู้สึกว่าตัวเองไม่คู่ควรกับความรัก รู้สึกอึดอัดกับความรักแบบ 1-1 หรือที่มัน personal มากๆ จะสบายใจกับ universal love รักที่ไม่มีข้อจำกัด รักโลก รักสัตว์ รักเพื่อนๆ อะไรแบบนั้นมากกว่า จนพอถึงอายุตามองศา ก็จะเจอกับความรักที่เรารู้สึกว่ามันคือ real deal เข้ามาได้
