Was thinking about this post and dear god that was incorrect, so I did a better assessment of how good Zote would be as a roommate and did the other characters because I kinda just wanted to
The Knight: Rooming with the Knight is pretty much just adopting an outdoor cat, so if you’re into that then great! But they also kill civilians and steal their money so maybe not, the good thing is you won’t face legal repercussions for this, the downside is that they will and this roommate situation will be cut short when they get taken to jail for killing people, or alternatively they kill police and you just aren’t safe anymore 1/10
Hornet: Not much to note, she’d probably fall somewhere between hating you and tolerating you and will kill less people hopefully. She seems mentally stable enough to get a regular job with stable pay, and seems like the type to help with rent and chores, also you will be safe from home intruders pretty much forever, overall she’s 4 stars
Quirrel: Quirrel is cool, will vibe with you and has the lowest chance of starting fights to the death with your neighbors, but considering how much he travels around, he probably won’t pay for anything or do chores because he’s too busy wandering, but lets assume he does stay home, his ass will not get a real job, he is selling random shit he found to random people and will somehow figure out a way to help with food and rent. Also he’ll help with chores because he’s chill like that and could probably cook at least a few good meals, he’s a good option, 2 Michelin Stars
Grimm: A cultist will move into your area and start fires whilst trying to convince you to join his religion. He won’t help you in any way unless you join the troupe because his ass isn’t even moving in with you, he’ll just set up his tent outside your house and yell at you about rituals. If you do join the troupe then you’ll be fine, but that depends on how much you’re willing to join a cult. He gets a 0%
Zote: This whole thing was inspired by my Zote hypothetical and I said he was good, but that implies that 1: You can convince him to pay rent (which would be borderline impossible) and 2: You can put up with his constant yelling about precepts. This bitch will criticize you for literally everything, you couldn’t walk to the kitchen without being told which precepts you’re breaking, he will eat all your food and call you a bitch certified F Tier
Hollow Knight: The Knight but bigger and scarier and more fucked up. You will wake up with their internals splattered on your face because they’re stabbing themselves instead of sleeping. There is infection and bug juice on your floors and they aren’t gonna do anything about it, they get a 0/100

Had to dust off the old fimfiction for this one aha :'D
I have a pretty high standard when it comes to sombra stuff, I only have about 100 fics favourited among the 2000 something or however many about him. I used to more frequently read mlp fanfiction but I don't really anymore :/ season 9 kinda ruined Sombra and sadly a lot of the new fics use his new personality (though to be fair he didnt have much of one before LOL)
Anyway here is my top 10 list of Certified Sombra Bangers (Sombrangers?). In no particular order:
Regarding Falling Villains (naturalbornderpy)This was one of the first fics I ever read and it is AMAZING. It's a Twibra fic, not really that serious and it was more lighthearted, it's about Twilight and the Princesses trying to reform him. naturalbornderpy is one of my favourite fanfic writers as well, he's amazing at writing funny in-character humour :D he also has a few other fics about Sombra but I think this is his best one
Sombra: Saga of Hatred (HiddenUnderACouch)

This is like a biography of Sombra, basically going through how he ended up as King of the Crystal Empire. It is amazing and impactful and I think about it way too much even to this day, when I read it in 2019. Sadly it was never finished and its last update was in early 2017 but I'd highly recommend it, it's incredibly high quality and surprisingly immersive
A Sparkle in the Darkness (tom117z)

Dinner With the King (naturalbornderpy)

However, like Saga of Hatred, it was never finished and hasn't been updated for 6 years. I highly recommend reading it
Sweetie's Shadow (Note Sketch)

Serious content warning though for NSFW and explicit gore/violence

The Supreme Court spent about an hour and a half on Tuesday morning arguing over whether to make it much harder for the Justice Department to prosecute hundreds of people who joined the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol.
It appears, after Tuesday’s arguments, that a majority of the justices will side with the insurrectionists — though it is far from clear how those justices will justify such an outcome.
The case, known as Fischer v. United States, involved a federal law which provides that anyone who “obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so” commits a very serious federal felony and can be imprisoned for up to 20 years — although, as Solicitor General Elizabeth Prelogar pointed out during Tuesday’s argument, actual sentences against January 6 defendants convicted under this statute have been much shorter, normally ranging from a little less than one year to slightly over two years.
According to the Justice Department, more than 1,265 people have been arrested for playing some role in the attack on the Capitol. Approximately 330 of them have been charged under the obstruction statute at issue in Fischer. One of them is Donald Trump.
As a federal appeals court held in its decision in this case, the obstruction statute is pretty darn clear that it applies to an effort to obstruct any congressional proceeding intended to certify the result of a presidential election — like the proceeding that the January 6 rioters attacked. And very few of the justices seemed to agree with Jeffrey Green, the lawyer representing a January 6 defendant, who proposed one way to read the statute more narrowly.
Nevertheless, many of the justices expressed concerns that the law sweeps too broadly and that it must be narrowed to prevent people who engage in relatively benign activity from being prosecuted.
Justice Samuel Alito, for example, expressed uncharacteristic sympathy for hecklers who interrupt a Supreme Court hearing — suggesting that prosecuting them under a statute that can carry a 20-year sentence goes too far. Justice Neil Gorsuch expressed similar concerns about prosecuting someone who peacefully conducts a sit-in to delay a court hearing, or someone who pulls a fire alarm to disrupt an official proceeding.
Indeed, Tuesday’s argument had a bit of a split personality. During Green’s time at the podium, most of the justices took turns criticizing his attempts to read the ban on obstructing an official proceeding narrowly. Even Alito, who is normally the Court’s most reliable vote for any outcome preferred by the Republican Party, got in on the game — telling Green that he “may be biting off more than [he] can chew” by arguing that the statute must be read to benefit his client.
By the time Green sat down, it appeared that he could lose in a 9–0 decision.
But any optimism that the Justice Department might have had early on in the argument must have been shattered almost as soon as Prelogar began her argument. Most of the justices peppered her with skeptical questions, although the justices who seemed to want to limit the obstruction statute struggled to agree on a single legal theory that would allow them to do so.
So the bottom line is that this case is probably going to end well for many January 6 defendants, but it is far from clear how the Court will justify such an outcome.

The Court’s sympathy for political protesters appears to be quite selective
Much of the skepticism Prelogar faced seemed to be rooted in some of the justices’ fears that ordinary political protests may be squelched by an overbroad reading of the obstruction statute. So it is worth noting another decision that the Court handed down just one day before the argument in Fischer.
In Mckesson v. Doe, the right-wing United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit effectively eliminated the right to organize a political protest — holding that protest leaders could face ruinous financial liability if a single protest attendee commits an illegal act. This decision is completely at odds with a long line of the Supreme Court’s First Amendment precedents.
And yet, on Monday, the Court announced that it would not hear the Mckesson case, leaving the Fifth Circuit’s decision in place.
It is still possible that the Supreme Court will correct the Fifth Circuit’s error in Mckesson at some later date. But it’s notable that the Court felt no urgency to do so in that case, while it spent the Fischer argument thinking about how to shut down some hypothetical future case where the government may not show adequate respect for First Amendment rights.
The Mckesson case, moreover, involved a Black Lives Matter protest, while the Fischer case involved a pro-Trump insurrection.
If nothing else, this is a terrible look for the Supreme Court. And it suggests that many of the justices’ concerns about free speech depend on whether they agree with the political views of the speaker.
Based on the oral arguments heard in the Fischer v. United States case at SCOTUS, the right-wing majority on the court is likely to side with Capitol Insurrectionists charged with obstructing an official proceeding.
Combined with this and the refusal to take up McKesson v. Doe, SCOTUS is in the tank for sympathies for right-wing protesters.

Magical Mirai:
2021 and 2022 are my absolute favorites! They pull off their respective themes soooo well and I already really really love fantasy and retro-future aesthetics ^_^
2021 has all these beautiful layers and florals going on...it kind of mimics Miku's iconic V2 silhouette in a way? but exaggerated to really sell the "magic" in "magical mirai". She is straight up a fairy bard to me-she has her microphone and speakers in her hair, her petal cape looks like fairy wings...and it's all tied so neatly together in Hidari's art style!! He's such a fantastic artist, I love his style sooo much (he also illustrated Mayu and Akikoloid-chan as well as worked on some Atelier and Fire Emblem games!)
And 2022 goes so insane for me. KEI's art is adorable in it's own right, I love her cute little wand, speakers and the little tamagachi-looking things on her waist. the dress and the boots remind me a bit of Ulala (which makes sense I suppose! Similar aesthetics?) but ohhhhh gosh does this miku come alive in the Future eve MV.....how her hair floats and bounces and flickers...........OUUUGH DUDE!! I cannot be normal about this miku at all.
I also really like the designs for the other cryptonloids for those years as well ^_^ 2021 Rin and Kaito and 2022 Kaito in particular! I have so much gender envy for 2021 Kaito...Princely characters have a chokehold on me....

2022 and 2024!! Techwear baybeeeee!! YES whatever the hell is going on with the bellybutton and crotch on 2022 is weird but the rest? No notes. And 2024 is a cool as hell techwear WITCH!! What da HELL!!!!!!!!!

Miku with you 2019. My love of flowers/florals showing up again lol. I also really love the color palette!! It may not come as a surprise to anyone based on the tags I've read on my art eheh but color is the first thing I notice/my favorite thing about art. The official art has these very pleasing muted tones that translated pretty well into figures. Or at least the nendoroid, since that's the one I own and can personally speak on. Her twin tails have this very light and gradual gradient from dark to light, and her off-white dress was given a satin finish, so it shines a little in the light! She's so beautiful ; 0 ;
Space Dive 2020 Gumi + Una! Space cat girlies! Looking at Gumi's in particular, its so cool and interesting how her base V2 design translates into her other designs. Like for V2, Space Dive and V6 in particular, they all share that sheer orange/yellow top that is worn beneath her other clothes.
SF-A2 Miki "2012 Edition". Hopefully this counts lol. As a certified Miki Enjoyer(TM) I hope this one was obvious eheh. Being that Miki is meant to look cybernetic, this fittingly feels like an upgraded Miki. She's sleeker, more refined, but is still unmistakably Miki. I love when artists take a design and just rearrange the elements instead of coming up with something completely different. In this ep, Leigh is joined by guest host Frankie de la Cretaz, sports journalist, queer history buff, and certified Gaylor Swiftie, to discuss the queer history of women’s baseball & softball, in particular the story of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, aka the inspiration behind A League of Their Own! We discuss all the extreme “no-homo”ing that was happening in the League’s rules and regulations, and all the YES HOMO-ing that happened in spite of it, making the sport into an important site of queer community. Idk the weird thing about my situation with Changuita Prime is that she's the only one of my cats who has a 100% guaranteed home, no questions asked, for the rest of her life. Hell she has at least Two. Two and Three are both random bred strays, two was literally found in a dumpster with her siblings and I pulled 3 out from under my van. but Prime is a papered, purebred Manx who came from a specialty rescue and was only surrendered to them instead of sold off because of the severity of her manx syndrome. The breeders knew they were better fit to take care of her and evaluate potential adopters than they were. Which. what level of cognitive dissonance do you need to be on, to be producing kittens with a deformity, that any mammal can get, Named After Their Breed, and be aware enough of this to know you need a certified nonprofit's help moving the most severely effected kittens, and still keep doing it. Don't support manx breeders.
But whatever, that's a side note. The rescue and the breeder both have that 100% no questions asked, we'll take the animal back and love them for their entire life policy, please contact us before you talk to anyone else.
Prime Has options, Two and Three are the sorts of cat that get put down every single day because there's just too many of them. But the level of neurotic I am about this cat Completely prevents me from like. Accepting that. In my mind she's a piss covered bitch with an extremely expensive and incurable medical issue, Any Other rescue that got her wouldn't even bother to try and re-home her so I have to stay alive for This cat and not the other two incredibly sweet and healthy babies who are everything everyone wants in a cat and have been carefully socialized so they love attention from anyone wholl look at them, but who are just regular ass american shorthairs who have effectively 0 chance of actually getting adopted because they arnt kittens anymore.
and like. Knowing that and being fully entirely aware of it has done nothing to stop my mental health being completely hingent on This Specific Cat and her well-being. which is to say brains are fucking weird. it went "I know that's true but no it's not, dumb bitch."
#Prime is my princess baby and nothing will ever change that but By God dont get a manx#they're the sweetest softest most darling lap bugs of cats and will love you with their entire heart#but they come at the price of incurable spinal degeneration. that causes them to have some Issues.#Being completely incontinent and often defecating While sleeping is believe it or not No Where Near As Bad As It Can Get.

Timeline
Age 0:
She is born in San Juan, Puerto Rico to her mother and father.
Age 2:
She is made an older sibling after her younger brother is born.
Age 7:
She has trouble focusing at school in class.
She is diagnosed with ADHD.
She is prescribed medication, which helps, though her mother doesn't like resorting to medicine.
Age 12:
Her father manages to get her a job as a delivery person.
She becomes well-known due to her swift speed and agility.
Age 14:
She starts high school.
Age 16:
Due to the debt crisis plaguing Puerto Rico, her father makes the decision to move him and his entire family to America.
They settle in an apartment in Spanish Harlem, New York.
She is initially upset because she had to leave behind all of her friends.
She has trouble befriending anyone due to her ethnicity.
Her father recommends she join the track team, which she does.
She becomes a breakout star, due to her speed.
She is nicknamed, "The Gazelle".
Her reputation increases, making her popular.
Age 17:
She graduates high school, and receives a scholarship to attend college for track and field.
Age 19:
While at college, she receives word that her brother has been shot and is in a coma.
She returns home and visits him everyday in the hospital.
Due to worrying for her brother, she starts having trouble with school and her emotions.
She is eventually diagnosed with depression, causing her to drop out of school.
Her parents try to prescribe help, but she denies she needs it.
Age 20:
After half a year in a coma, her brother awakens, much to her and her parents' relief.
However, he is changed from the ordeal and joins a street gang.
She and her parents try to help him get his life back on track, but he refuses.
Age 22:
Her brother disappears from home, leaving only a note behind, apologizing for his actions.
Because of this, her depression gets worse, and she begins contemplating suicide.
She slits her left arm, leaving a large gash and a scar.
Her parents find her before she bleeds out.
She is admitted to psychiatric care and medication.
Age 24:
After almost two years of talks and medication, she begins to fill better about herself and her life.
She apologizes to her parents for everything they had to go through because of her.
She foregoes college, instead getting a job in security detail.
She finds she is quite good at fighting and discipline.
Age 25:
After a year of this, she decides to become something akin to a mercenary, which allows her to see new sights and search for her brother, whom she believes is still alive somewhere.
She arrives in India, taking in the sights and culture.
She begins to become interested in yoga, and strives to learn it.
Age 28:
She spends up to three years, learning all she can about yoga and the different ways to administer it.
She then takes a 200-hour yoga training course. She finishes within four months.
Age 29:
She becomes a certified teacher, and begins teaching yoga classes around the world, in between her jobs.
She feels more at ease with herself than she has in a very long time.
She now tries to solve her problems with diplomacy and words, rather than relying on her fists.
Age 31:
She returns to her native country of Puerto Rico, after being hired by the government.
She is hired to go to Japan, join the Division Rap Battle, and infiltrate Chuohku to find out what they are up to.
At first, she refuses, having no interest in it. However, the government states that the man they believe to be her brother is involved in the tournament.
She receives a picture on him, and though he has changed a lot, she knows it is him; she takes the job.
She is informed she will be partnering up with two other agents in this mission.
She arrives in Arakawa in Tokyo, Japan and makes contact with the two other agents: Alexis Ward and Hoàng Diệu.
Age 32:
Present.
She becomes the third member of the Arakawa Division rap battle team, Sounds of Silence, alongside Alexis Ward and Hoàng Diệu.

I really do think the "honest fraud" shit is stupid and in a way hilarious in a way. Can you imagine sending hatemail to someone because you found out they're committing tax fraud in a more efficient way than you are.

yeah. i think it's silly and trite but just kind of annoying. like, it's fraud either way. personally my top choice is still absolutely legitimate fan-blog-certified polling with 0 alts, but it would be too difficult to do
anyway i didn't even realise the semifinal poll was up til now so i just threw in my one legitimate vote. as for my illegitimate votes, well...i'm on the fence about it for this round.
i have no affection for wincest because i've never watched SPN, but as i said earlier, wincest does have a substantially larger fanbase so it would be more legit if we lost.
then again, if the zeitgeist of the poll is fraud and they can't beat a handful of daverosers, maybe they shouldn't win after all
