When Four Turns Minish

When Four first shrank himself in front of the rest of the chain, the reactions were exactly what one would think. It was mostly "you're so cute" and "you can get smaller?" and various things like that as most, if not all of them, tried to touch the very tiny person.

They're Links, they're naturally curious idiots.

Except, being so much smaller, that many hands reaching out and that many people forgetting that he was still the Hero, still a capable person even if he was now smaller, was extremely off-putting and frustrating.

To Four's surprise though, his savior in this situation would be none other than Legend, who batted everyone off and then crouched down to be level with him and asked the real questions. "Can you protect yourself like this?"

Of course! His sword shrunk with him and it's still dangerously sharp and strong, even if it is on a smaller scale, so yes, he can defend himself. He appreciates the concern though, and the fact that Legend seems particularly serious about his safety, not just mocking his new lack of size.

And then Legend lowers a hand, not on top of him, not to grab him, but in front of him and asks if they can talk more away from the others and their grabby hands. Four agrees.

He's curious of course, why is Legend acting like this? The vet's answer? "I've been in similar predicaments myself, grabby hands and cooing is annoying. Smaller I may be, but I'd still like to maintain my dignity." Four 100% agrees.

Four happily climbs up into Legend's hand, even more pleased when it doesn't close around him, and let's himself be taken over back to the rest of camp.

From that point on, when tiny, Four likes perching on the vet. Legend respects is wish not to be treated like a pet or a baby, and seems particularly respectful like this.

He does want to know how small the vet can get though, and how.

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

no offence but the reason tumblr is “dying” is, well, yes, of course the cursed like/reblog ratio and the change in user behaviour (because of people being used to how instagram and tiktok work) BUT also the lack of weekly shows. i say it with my whole chest, they don't produce captivating and engaging stupid weekly tv shows anymore because streaming killed that so you have spikes of activity here when Something happens in general fandom or up to three days after a new season of whatever drops and then it's a wasteland. this is obviously an old woman yelling at a cloud missing supernatural and the vampire diaries and pretty little liars and all these other shows type of post but honestly give me back weekly tv shows where i have something to watch for 40 minutes almost every day of the week after work so then i can read and reblog it on tumblr give it back for the sake of my sanity
