Alrught so Modern soulmate AU bending is still a thing because I want it to be, sit down.

Soulmate AU: lock and key.

Everyone is born with either a lock or a key somewhere on them. The most common placements are the neck or the wrist. Some can be on their thigh, ankle, or even their waist.

Sokka has a key around both wrists

Suki has a key around her left wrist and a lock on her right

And Zuko has two locks on a single chain around his waist just above his hip bones.

Modern AU: looking for roommates.

Zuko put some 'looking for roommates' posters around town and gets a call from two people Sokka and Suki. He decides to meet up with them at his Uncle's tea shop (which I'm calling 'Dragon Insomniac' because I want it to be a 24hr teashop).

Now, onto the story:

"Zuko, you told them to meet up at 4 , its still 3" his Uncle said as he set down his nephew's cup of tea.

"I kno that Uncle, I just wanted to be ready for them" he fidgeted in his seat for a moment and readjusted the sleeves on his shirt out of habit.

"An extra hour of preparation before discussing roommates?" Iroh chuckled when Zuko nodded "alright, enjoy the tea, I'll show them to your table when they get here"

Zuko hummed a response as his Uncle walked off. Taking a drink of his tea he went over what he planned on saying to the duo when they managed to get to the shop.

Lost in thought he didnt even notice it had been a half an hour already, and only managed to resurface when he heard the little bell go off and two people walk in, a tall man with an undercut and his hair pulled back into a ponytail and a woman with shoulder length hair with the top half pulled back into a braid going down the back of her head. The man had a blue jacket on while the girl simply wore a green turtleneck sweater.

"Didn't expect us to come in at the same time, wonder which one he is" the man said while looking around

"Lets ask the man at the counter, I think he said his uncle owned the place" the woman pointed out

Ah, thats them. Interesting. Zuko let out a sigh and tried to swallow his sudden anxiety. He watched as his uncle directed the duo over to him and they both kind of stared at him for a second, turned to look st eachother and then back at him. Most people have that reaction due to his scar so he didnt find it unusual. He made a small wave and took a sip of his tea.

The two walked over and took their seats "Zuko?" The man asked as he sat down

"The one and only" he smirked a little "Suki and Sokka I presume?"

They nodded "yeah, so uhm, we actually know eachother from high-school" Suki motioned between her and Sokka

"Oh?" That was a little unexpected

"Yeah, I didnt know you meant this Suki when you told me her name, we haven't seen eachother in years!" Sokka chimed in

"Is the fact you two have a past together a deal breaker with being roommates?" Zuko rose his brow

"Oh not at all! It's a pleasant surprise to be honest" Suki chirped "we were two of the very few non-benders in the school"

"Oh? That's a relief to be honest. Last time I roomed with another bender they broke my gaming console" Zuko laughed

After they went over the agreements and signed some papers they all hopped into their cars and the duo followed Zuko to the apartment complex. Zuko gave them a mini tour and showed them his animals, that being a bearded dragon named Druk and two cats named Mushi and Lee

Before the end of the day Zuko handed them both keys to the apartment and sent them on their way to pack up, telling them he'd have their rooms ready by the next morning.

And he did, he had the rooms ready and organized with beds made (he totally went out and bought them both really nice bedsets in the colors they wore that day.) Laundry hampers, little bedside tables and a desk in both rooms, knowing through text conversations that Suki blogged and Sokka drew and carved.

Sokka was the first to arrive, having spent most of the night meticulously packing his items into boxes. "Wow, this is different than yesterday? Did you have this packed away?"

Zuko let out a snort "no, I went out and got the blankets and hampers after you two left, my Uncle had the rest of it in storage, I steamed the beds though so you don't have to worry about any dust or what have you."

Sokka raised a brow "you went all out huh?"

"Just being hospitable, I hope you like the bed set, I'll go start lunch, you down for burgers?"

"Hell yeah I'm down for burgers"

Zuko chuckled "alright, Ill get them started, when Suki gets here let me know."

Later on Suki arrived and she was just in time for lunch. Walking in and slipping off her shoes to set them on the small shoe rack Zuko set up, she sniffed the air "oooohhh whats that smell!"

"Zuko! Suki's here!" Sokka called

"Yeah! I could here that! Thank you though!" And with that said Zuko rounded the corner and made a little wave "Im making Burgers, do you want wheat buns, white buns or Brioche buns?"

"Brioche please, I like the apron" she giggled

He flushed "it was a gift from my uncle" the apron simply read 'look at these hot buns on the chef' and Zuko didnt want to get a new apron because he was afraid of hurting his Uncle's feelings

"He sure has a good sense of humor" she laughed

The rest of the day went smoothly and they all eventually went to bed around 11 that night. The next two weeks Zuko was busy working doubles at the teashop, Suki was busy working as a bouncer at Kyoshi Rise and Sokka was busy doing commissions and working at his dads flower shop, so it was kind of a blur.

The Saturday after the busy two weeks they all had off. Suki and Sokka were sleeping in while Zuko was taking the time to do some morning yoga, donning a pair of black yoga shorts and a red crop top as he did his stretches. The soul chain and locks hanging around his waist now visible to anyone who might see him. Though he was sure his roommates wouldn't be waking up any time soon.

Little did he know Sokka was leaned against the doorway to the kitchen watching his flexible roommate do yoga while sipping on a mug of coffee. "So thats where your soulmate thing is?"

"Ack!" Zuko lost his balance and collapsed on his mat "you twat! You could have waited until I was in a more stable stretch! Ow that really hurt" he rubbed his backside "and yeah, thats where my soul locks are"

"Locks? As in plural? I have two keys, Suki has a lock and key"

"Oh? Thats uh... interesting?"

"Whats interesting and what was that bang?" Suki yawned as she walked out of her bedroom

"Oh just the fact that we all happen to have two soulmates" Zuko said in a grumpy tone "and that bang was me falling because this jerk scared me while I was doing yo-"

"Woah, you're kinda hot" Suki blurted and turned red "sorry, ive just never seen you in a crop top. You're uh, well built" she cleared her throat awkwardly

Zuko froze and turned beet red "uh, thank you? I kick box and do yoga and that's about it" he then stood and stretched his arms above his head "anyways, do you guys want waffles for- agh! What are you doing?" He jumped back when Suki reached out to one of his locks

"Shush, one of your locks has a similar pattern my key I wanna try something" She brought her left wrist up to the lock "hey, what'd'y'know, it actually matches" she smiled but brought her hand back to her side "I guess I'm one of your soulmates huh?"

Zuko blinked at her and then looked to Sokka and then back to Suki "why didn't you unlock it then?"

She laughed "well if you have multiple soulmates you have to have both unlock at the same time, thats why me and Sokka lost touch after sch- Sokka come here real quick"

"Oh my gods" Zuko mumbled under his breath as Sokka came closer and brought his right hand up and smirked

"Would you look at that, weve been under the same rook for a total of two weeks and never noticed." The duo then looked at Zuko "would you be okay with us unlocking them?"

He nodded and watched them unlock his soul locks simultaneously and watched sokka unlock Suki's. His face was probably the same shade as his shirt when the chain sealed around his waist as a sort of tattoo instead of an actual chain.

"Well, this has been an interesting morning. But I have to restate my question, who wants waffles for breakfast?"

ooof so if that tap dancing song is like the song with all the least popular kids, “first confession” is like the song that is filled with the 2nd least popular kids.

YLQ IS SO SHY LOL and he and cx are like the same age LOL ycy saying “hes too real” LOL

i agree with yixing it wasnt like amazing but i thought ylq did a good job! even tho i kept feeling like that sweater was getting in his way lol... and i like wlk’s voice :’) i just love how wild its getting in the waiting room with all the kids LOL

UGH just seeing the vocal kids’ reaction to them getting announced as the front runner? HEARTBREAKING. they’re all SO surprised. and up until the last second, renyu is like SO sure that it’s not them. and then when it gets announced, theyre all so stunned with their eyes wide and mouths agape, except huang enyu who just covers his face with his hands. this reaction is just... its so sad that they have such low expectations of their ability to do well. I mean i cant blame them, it’s a realistic reaction, seeing how things have progressed on this show for them so far and the rankings of where theyre at now. but its still so sad.

AW kou cong being so supportive of huang enyu and huang junrong! saying “you can definitely win”, we love a boy who supports talent :’) and chen junhao aggressively hugging a dumbstruck li chenxu - awww friendshipppp

ive tried my best to avoid spoilers for the elims so my main thought for this next perf is just “oh gosh i really hope this isn’t sbh and syh’s last stage, but even if it is, at least they shone well in it” .... except for sbh’s last high note :(

oof again, if this is gonna be these kids’ last stage, im really grateful yzy and qzq got to shine. really yzy and qzq are good vocalists! was yzy center? bc im so happy for him if he was!!! amazing!!!!

so what youku is trying to tell me is... if you’re good, you should keep trying, and giving up is a sign of lack of perseverance !! if you’re bad, you should recognize it and give up while you’re ahead and go do something else rather than waste your time. so was zuo qibo not good enough? are lm and syh good enough? and so cxh and xzx have shown they’re good enough? but for kids like qzq and yzy who are relatively good too, should they keep going despite your lack of giving them a similar amount of attention?

i feel like this whole segment has been dedicated to convincing me that liu cong, ma haowen and he yijun should give up. and im ??? how is this okay? wont this make them sad when they eventually watch this?

LOL yes please give cui shaopeng a feature, its exactly what we need from this group. i love how he described everyone, hes so real LOL. but also the fact that xue en is just gentle :’)

aw zixin..... really trying his best to stay cheerful must be hard. im happy to see zlj really cares about him. im grateful yixing recognized zixin’s skill in singing and dancing. but also im kinda just hoping that if this group does place top 4, which is highly possible, that zixin actually needs saving. bc otherwise itll be sad if no one in their group needs saving and they just waste that opportunity :\

i mean the rest of them were really good too! honestly a high quality perf, but still. YES JUNHAO EXACTLY! xue en literally can get your attention in 0.5 seconds, and he may not be the most popular, and youku may not give him nearly as much attention as he deserves as the WINNER of the last round (with 190 votes!!!!), but no matter how much time he has on screen, he takes that window of opportunity and KILLS IT. and im !!!!!! so grateful !! he did so well!!!

AW shaopeng’s smile when hyb says hes changed after cutting his hair is so adorable!

aw zuo ye...... man its amazing when you think about how much of an impact cx has had on several of these trainees when she herself is still so young, but that tells you how respected she is, which is awesome. but also i do agree zuo ye has really really improved a ton!!

you know, i was gonna say i was surprised they flat out told everyone that the vocal group was ahead, but actually im pretty grateful at least this means these kids who normally would NOT get any screen time (cough zhaohao cough li chenxu cough junrong) are regularly getting at least some screen time, which is great! but also it is sad to see that this screen time just consists of them being nervous and unconfident and stressed out thinking theyre about to get knocked down from the top at any moment. but at least... we’re reminded that they’re here, that they exist, and that they’re a force to be reckoned with.

can we also talk about wlk sitting next to enyu instead of with his group? their friendship is so strong :’)

first thought is: omg did he go to the hospital and youku didnt give him a feature?? second thought: wait but if he was there to remember that gjm gave them that advice, did youku just crop him out or something? wtf

but cmon lets be real if the public (and youku) have the choice between voting for a group of amazing vocals on the brink of elimination and a group of already popular kids who will most likely all make it anyway..... if they chose the latter, i would literally flip a table.

BTS RUN | 29 |

Tittle: BTS RUN | 29 | Words: 1.5K Pairing: Sou/Everyone; 8th Member of BTS Summary: BTS RUN ep. 29 with Sou.

‘This is our dorm. I’m wondering why we are here.’, Hoseok said, beginning the new episode of RUN BTS.

‘Again?’, Namjoon asked.

‘Yeah we’ve shot here three times already.’, Taehyung answered and everybody nodded.

‘Today we’re here to keep our promise a Billboard Hot 100 hit.’, director said.

‘Styling each other.’, Jungkook reminded everybody. Man started to explain all the rules and how will today’s episode go. Everyone was listening carefuly, trying not to miss any detail, that may help them with the game.

‘I wanted to do whole pink outfit, but then I remembered, that I threw away my pink pants.’, Jin said dissapointed. ‘And now I can’t do that.’

‘I hope, that I won’t be in pair with Jin.’, Jungkook said immediately afterwards.

‘I will create look with my favurite pajamas.’, Yoongi announced.

‘Pajamas are cool.’, Jin added and Sou nodded.

‘To be honest I would be happy if I will get pajamas set as the outfit.’, Sou said and Jin agreed with her.

‘If I’m honest, I’m scared the most about Sou.’, Jungkook said, pointing at her.

‘Yeah, she’s the only girl in the group.’, Seokjin said. ‘And she’s so tiny.’, he added in high pitched voice and came closer to pinch her cheeks. Sou immediately slapped his hands, which made everybody laugh.

‘I don’t think there are even one piece of clothing in Sou’s closet, that will fit me.’, Namjoon exclaimed.

‘And, like you said she’s a girl, so dresses and heels and normal things for her.’, Jimin said and Hoseok, that was sitting at the very end, started to whine to himself.

‘She doesn’t wear skirts and heels a lot, so we’re fine.’, Jungkook said, waving at her.

‘But it doesn’t mean, that I don’t have them in my closet.’, Sou went right back with raised eyebrow. Everybody reacted at her comment and poor Jungkook hid face in his hands.

‘I think we should agree, that you won’t give us either skirts or heels.’, Namjoon proposed a deal for her.

‘Let’s try something else.’, she said back to Namjoon, who’s eyes went big in surprise. ‘I will exclude either dresses and skirts or heels.’, Sou said her deal and boys started to thinking about it very hard.

‘But does the term ‘heels’ include boots with heels too?’, Taehyung asked.

‘Everything, that has even the smallest heel I will throw out immediately. So it means, that it will leave you with some trainers or flats.’, she explained to the rest. There was silence for a minute and then boys went together to discuss the deal from Sou.

‘It’s a tought decision and we’re a little torn apart.’, Namjoon said and they nodded.

‘But I think we should exclude dresses and skirts, because there’s no way she’ll find heels in her closet, that will be our size.’, Jungkook said and picked Sou’d foot up, putting his foot near. ‘Look, her feet are almost half my size.’

‘Genius.’, Hoseok said and high fived him.

‘Welcome to my little closet.’, Sou said, opening the door of her wardrobes. She had four in total, but this one was specific. ‘I’m actually really excited for this challenge. Boys are thinking, that all my clothes wiil be too small for them. Well they are really wrong.’, she added and took out big box from the back of her closet. ‘Few months ago, before we went to America, I ordered fe packages of new clothing. But we had to fly a little bit earlier, that we supposed to, so I couldn’t even try these. When we came back two months later, I realised, that they’re too big for me and I couldn’t give them back to the shop.’, she explained, picking out piece by piece from the box.

Sou was really thinking hard about what would be the perfect example of her style. She picked out denim shorts, grey crop top, classic leather jacket, that was always with her and pink button up shirt, that she usually would wear it around her waist.

‘God, I would almost forget about one more thing.’, Sou exclaimed and went back to her closed, picking up one more box. ‘Few days ago, director informed me about this challenge, so that I could prepare. And of course I had to order one more thing, that represents my style perfectly.’, she explained and showed black block heeled boots to the camera. They weren’t high, but they weren’t flat for sure. ‘They picked dresses instead of heels, so I’m not breaking the deal.’

‘Who’s clothes you don’t wanna get?’, camera man asked, making Sou turn back to him. She put her lips to one side of her face and looked up for a second, thinking of an answer.

‘Namjoon.’, she said after a while. Man motioned for her to extend her answer and she took a deep breath. ‘He’s really tall and his clothes will look big on me, especially because he really likes to wear baggy outfits. It’ll drown inside them.’, she added laughing.

All eight members were now in a big while room with their chosen clothers behind them.

‘Let’s look at them!.’, Hoseok said, pointing behind him.

‘I just wanna say, that I don’t want to pick Sou.’, Jungkook said, picking up shoes and shorts.

‘We said no heels!’, Seokjin exclaimed.

‘Correction: I gave you and option to chose between dresses and heels. You chose dresses and akirts and can you see any of them? No. So I didn’t do anything wrong. You should’ve been wiser when you were choosing.’, Sou said, rolling her eyes.

‘It’s all your fault.’ Taehyung screamed, pointing at Jungkook.

‘Okay, stop being dramatic and let’s start to pick out the pairs.’, Sou said emotionless and nodded at the crew members.

They started to explain them the rules of how will the be choosing pairs. The rules were simple: one person trows a rose and whoever was closer to the rose was wearing throwing person clothes. But it couldn’t be normal with all the boys. It soon went all messy and dramatic with all teams. However the real highlight was, that Hoseok had to wear Jin’s clothes and Yoongi Sou’s. Sou on the other side had to wear outfit, that she didn’t want the most - Namjoon’s. Reactions were priceless, especially Yoongi’s who realised what he has to put on in a minute.

They all went to the changing rooms to put on their outifts and went right back to the white room with black capes on. And so the fashion show started. Sou went first. She stood on the podium and with emotionless face she threw the came away, making everybody around gasp in shock.

‘#FasionableSou. Let’s get it trending.’, Jungkook said through the laugh and Sou just glared at him with pure hate in her eyes, which made him stop immediately.

‘You look like you have muscles. I guess going to the gym with Jungkook was a good decision.’, Jimin said and touched her arms.

‘Can I go home now?’, she asked with a pout and they all laughed.

‘No, because our Suga is next!’, Taehyung screamed.

Yoongi stood on the podium, where Sou was few seconds before. He threw the cape away and everyone gasped in shock. Nobody even dared to say a thing. They were just standing with opened mouths and looking at him. But then Sou ended the silence, with laugh.

‘I’m sorry.’, she said, trying to stay calm, but them she looked down on his shoes and couldn’t do it anymore.

‘I’m glad this is funny for you.’, Yoongi said, pointing at her.

It’s already known, that Jin will joke about it probably for the rest of his life. But at least it was very funny, especially for Sou. Next members were going up on the podium and showing their outfits. Stupid comments were flying all around the room, everybody laughed a lot and had so much fun, even in terrible clothes.

The last part of the episode was showing off their outfits on a runaway. They all standed in line, getting ready. Sou was of course first, like most of the times.

‘It’s my time to finally shine as a model.’, she said and when music started to play, she walked to the runaway and stopped for a moment to pose. She put her hands in the pocket of the sweater and pouted a little, making boys laugh. Sou started to walk till the end of the carpet and stopped again doing the same pose. Then she turned around, crouching at the same time. She turned her head back to the camera she send it a quick kiss, making boys scream again. After that she stood up and started walking back, moving her but as if she was twerking from time to time. But them when she crossed half way of the runaway, she turned all stoic and emotionless as if nothing had happened.
