Shoutout to knitblr for getting knitting trending today. Without that I very honestly would not have finished this sweater vest (that I started over a year ago)
Also she is for sale if anyone is interested (I have not set a price nor have I finished weaving in ends but feel free to hit me up if you want the measurements 👀)

I think it's officially 'get out your sweaters' season in Maine so I wanted to get better pix of this one. This was my first time knitting a lopapeysa style sweater & I found the process SO fun! It was also super rewarding to be able to switch out the horse chart of the original pattern with goats! 🐐 In the end a full repeat wouldn't fit, so I added a little clover at the back ☘️

my roommate spent the last year painstakingly fingerknitting thousands of yards of yarn into thicker material suitable for a handknit blanket and a few days ago we finally sat down and put it together
(me pictured)
it's extra special because she started with my own yarn scraps, some of which were from projects that i gave to her. the blanket didn't end up as tightknit as she wanted so she gave it to me in return for a blanket i'll make specially tailored to her <3

i'm pretty proud of these, my favorite is the orange bc as we all know oranges are gay but also getting the shape of that lemon down was so satisfying 🥰

My own Christmas socks!! These are some of my favourite socks I've ever made, the colour scheme is just so gorgeous and worked so well with the pattern!
Yarn: Felt Fusion sock yarn in a sock set called 'Vintage Christmas'
Pattern: 'Dear Björn' by Nataliya Sinelshchikova (in '52 Weeks of Socks')

Since y’all love my last big sleeve creation; how about this bad boy I finished last year and never posted???
(Pattern is Love Magick by Disco Stitch; yarn is Lion Brand Superwash Merino which was Hellish to use and I highly would not recommend!!! Why were there so many knots!!!! Like, 5-9 knots per ball. Fucked up.)

I bought the exact same skein of yarn from Into The Whirled at the last two MDSW. I only realized that fact this morning. At least I am consistent.
BTW, the colorway is Hijinks.

Colorwork knitters, please check my work!
I'm knitting a colorwork yoke, and am not sure if my tension is correct. I am using superwash merino/nylon (I think 75/25% blend) and unfortunately did not know before purchasing that it would make tensioning much harder. It's so dang slippery!
Please please tell me if something is wrong because I'd rather restart now than halfway down the body. The individual light colored stitches especially kind of look either too big or disappear.
I'm sure some of the wonkiness will block out but I'm not sure by how much, or if my floats are too tight to allow for that adjustment.
