i know it's probably nothing but it's always bugged me that gabriel is the big overarching rival we got. not in the sense that i don't like him, it just makes a few questions arise-- because gabriel, while not weak or docile, is usually portrayed in mythology as a messenger rather than a warrior. michael is the one always put in armor and seen in battle

so like. where's michael. why do we never hear anything about him. he and gabriel are more or less equals in worth, their duties are just different. they cover different areas and balance each other out, so why is gabriel the right hand of god specifically?

An au extremely inspired by Enchanted where the prince, Luka, escapes the fairy tale world and his wicked wife, Queen Vanessa, with their child, Hattie. He does not make it unscathed and has a curse placed on him that suppresses all of his fairytale prince boons (such as singing to summon woodland creatures). About ten years later, the curse is suddenly broken, but now that Luka has adjusted to his life as a single father and jaded lawyer in a magic-less city, the last thing he wants is to relive his past as people burst into song around him and pigeons break into his apartment to help him clean! On top of all the obnoxious fairytale shenanigans, the shattering of his curse garnered the attention of a certain Queen he hoped to never see again...

A pokemon au that shoves Detective Pikachu and Pokemon Colosseum into the world of ahit. Hattie was just about to begin her pokemon journey when her father goes missing and a grumpy, amnesiac Eevee appears on her doorstep, claiming to be her father’s partner! When they realize that Eevee, shortly nicknamed Snatcher, can see shadow pokemon, they team up to get to the bottom of the mystery surrounding her dad’s disappearance and the pokemon with artificially closed hearts. (Will I finish this? Who knows ;w; I would like to... someday....)

An au dreamed up with the wonderful @smieska (who made incredible art you can check out in the link!) where all the ahit bad guys run stores in a mall and Snatcher runs the build-a-bear Kraft-a-Kid. Hattie is tired of all of the rumors about her dad stealing the souls of children and placing them into the dolls he makes, but when she finds an old doll in the break room that comes to life, she starts to wonder just what secrets he’s been hiding... (This links to the 3rd little snippet i wrote. They aren’t necessary to understand what’s going on, i don’t think but links in the snippets lead to the others, sorry about that haphazard organization)

Rising From the Ashes - A Hat in Time, ~7K (Technically Incomplete)

Another au I made with Smieska where instead of dying a horrible death, the fire spirits in the forest give the prince a potion that will keep him from feeling the sting of his beloved’s ice and he... turns into a caterpillar. But the cocoon he makes protects him from the freeze that destroys all of the kingdom. However, when he emerges, he has no memory of his previous life and is part moth! Cannot stress enough that this fic has intense moments of body horror/painful transformation.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT it’s not actually posted yet, but I was just rereading bits last night and it’s very precious to me and this tag game actually prompted me to post something from it because i love it so you can find chapter 7 here. This WIP is, again, dreamed up with the help of the amazing Smieska (and she has posted amazing artwork for it already, so be sure to check it out!) But basically it’s a fey prince!au where Luka is a painter who is lured to the fey world by Queen Ven! Even though he preciously guards his name and makes sure not to eat the food there, he soon finds himself trapped and erased from the memories of all his friends back home. But! Just when he loses hope, Mari, the florist and his dearest friend, realizes that someone is missing from her life and her memory, and she won’t let anything keep her from finding this person again!

hey. don’t cry. crush four cloves of garlic into a pot with a dollop of olive oil and stir until golden then add one can of crushed tomatoes a bit of balsamic vinegar half a tablespoon of brown sugar and stir for a few minutes adding a handful of fresh spinach until wilted and mix in half a cup of grated parmesan cheese and pasta of your choice ok?
