clover but…… Evil? uh yea idk
idk why but…. thinking abt an au where clover is just. Evil
idk if it’ll be an alternate timeline from the licocule au but either way I still wanna incorporate cloverice/liclover in it somehow lol
basically the key factors are that:
-he has the same demeanor as our usual clover but more unhinged
-headcanon territory but maybe his relations with white lily being his ancestor and her becoming dark enchantress (and her motivations) might have to do with why he might be evil in this au, also I just realized this kinda makes red velvet and clover distant siblings, I feel like they’d bond over similar motivations
-unsure about this but I think it’d be cool if clover just worked as an assassin kinda? for lico? idk yet
-his eyes would turn scarlet like his ancestor’s whenever his evil senses arise
-his powers would be twisted upside down, so instead of using his music magic to heal, he would use it to poison others or perhaps rot his victims even, making them decay like plants would (I think he could still use the healing aspect for himself and/or licorice or others he’d side with, speaking of which)
-I’m kinda having trouble with deciding if he should work for dark enchantress enough despite having bonds with red velvet and licorice lol
-his songs and stories that he would tell would be “omens of [his victims’] demise” (@5ome-7ype-0f-5hapeshifter)
-he could also use the forest animals do his evil biddings I suppose? maybe make them go Crazy go Stupid, like haha you thought they were peaceful Nope! 😁
-other ideas suggested by @5ome-7ype-0f-5hapeshifter:
-petrifying someone into wood
-vines used to drag ppl into the earth & stuff
-bad luck spells (lol imagine if he says “bad luck!” instead of “good luck!” whenever he uses his skill in battle)
sooo yea let me know what you guys think and/or if you’re interested, I’m curious to see what people could add to this or suggest if I ever wanna do more with it in the future lol

🏃‍♂️ and 📝 ?
🏃‍♂️ - fast paced scenes that cut straight to the chase or slow paced scenes that observe detail and/or have buildup?
i like both but i'm always a big sucker for stuff that goes 0-100- 'hanging out with a friend one second already stuffed in their stomach the next' type beat.
📝- Do you have any ocs specifically for vore?

You rolled number…2, so, drumroll,
Knut Bjerke
Tumblr media
Oh, where do I even start about him. Technically, he isn’t even alive at the current point in time. However, I will make exceptions to this rule :)
Knut is Agender and doesn’t really mind any pronouns, but usually sticks to He for the sake of simplicity. He’s Ace and also autistic, so basically a Triple A Battery <3
They were Loki’s partner when they were still alive, before they got murdered in cold blood. (Rumors say the incident involved a chicken nugget…)
Knut was most recently training to become a paramedic. He genuinely believes that there’s something good in every person, and does his best to bring that out. However, he also tends to be kind of a doormat. Other than that…he’s extremely allergic to walnuts. And he knows danish and british sign language. In whump, he usually plays a caretaker role, or rarely a whumpee.

Dragon doodles :) I’ve wanted to draw Jinlong’s parents for a while now. Their names are more just placeholders so I can write something in draconic script. Their draconic names are The Snow Crested Moutian Peaks for his father and The Setting Sun Over Sea for his mother.

SLAMS in and presses !!!!!!!!!! So lovingly. And gives u a pat.
biting yuor hand /aff but HIIII im using this to cheat and talk about TWO of my characters. aka the ones i just posted right HERE
this is long i got carried away woops.
Maddie and their sibling are both full of dissonance energy. they were both made in a project by the nexus core to see if grunts could harbor and manipulate dissonance energy without too many visual signs- that way agents who would be a little bit more 'hard hitting' with it would be harder to spot and differentiate from their non-dissonance-manipulating counterparts. However, the results were incredibly inconsistent and those who DID have the ability to manipulate dissonance were either A) uncooperative and uncontrollable as a result of the dissonance energy or B) just kind of . slowly died as a result of 'dissonance poisoning' (mental and physical deterioration until death or near-death) . so the project was just kind of quietly shelved in favor of what they already had.
Maddie technically HAS dissonance poisoning, it's made her greatly weaker than the average grunt her age and just . generally kind of fucked her up . the necklace she wears is pretty much the only thing keeping her from just kinda fully flopping over , as the ring thing on it is essentially a much smaller and simpler keystone fragment. she's unable to manipulate dissonance energy at all and just kind of . harbors it . luckily it doesn't really do her or anyone around her much harm its just kind of There.
Maddie's sibling (who i'll call . Diem . for ease) was lucky enough to NOT get dissonance poisoning so yippee . they can manipulate dissonance energy relatively easy but it's physically and mentally draining, pushing too much usually just leads to more trouble than its really worth. Both them and Maddie spent a majority of their life in Nexus-affiliated facilities for further monitoring, with both of them taking to Someone as a sort-of father figure (This is who Maddie gets her necklace from).
Obviously things kinda go to hell and said Someone gets a little caught up with some of the bigger things going on in the city at the time, leaving them with a close friend of theirs until they could come back for the two and hopefully just kind of . idk man found family it out. Things get a bit tricky for said close friend and long story short Diem ends up running away with Maddie and tries to take care of their younger sibling themself. This is not as easy as they thought it would be.
Maddie's obviously torn up over losing their sort-of father and finding food and shelter for two isn't easy. This is made worse by Diem juggling these responsibilities while also still trying to fully get a hold over dissonance manipulation. At a certain point they get bitter and believe their father-figure knowingly abandoned them or otherwise decided to ditch them at one point or another, Maddie has no opinion on this and is extremely hesitant on what to believe. Diem eventually realizes 'ok i cant do this' as they continously struggle to take care of the both of them and just kind of start. scouring around for someone who CAN take care of Maddie. they eventually stumble upon Nyx and his whole group and just kind of . stalk?? them before eventually deciding they seem trustworthy enough and just kind of . leaving Maddie on their doorstep. (OBVIOUSLY they still like . check in from time to time from a distance to make sure everythings all like . good . and it is . dw.)
Maddie's obviously further distressed and wrecked over losing their sibling, Nyx feels bad and long sstory short yadda yadda he's pretty much Maddie's dad . lol. He doesn't really have any clue of where she came from since he's never worked with the nexus or really dared to try and go to the nexus core and she doesn't really like talking about it very much. He's just kinda content with things as they are and he's not like super pressed about finding her origins out- if someone dropped her off here than obviously she wasn't gonna get the best of care wherever she was previously. She's highly attached to him and tends to hang around him the most. Also they have some kind of a bond over his work with biology and her fascination with bugs so it works out.
Diem is just kind of doing their thing . they don't have any real motivation or goal in life but they very tentatively just have some kind of idea of revenge. at one point or another they just kind of went 'hey its kind of fucked up that i could've been like just a totally normal guy and not have to deal with this whole dissonance thing if a bunch of scientists just didn't decide they should start making a new kind of canon fodder huh . kind of fucked up that i didn't really have any sort of normal childhood like anyone else around me huh.' and got progressively more bitter about it over the years, they harbor a great deal of resentment towards their original father figure but admittedly are too emotionally attached to him to have any real plans to kill him or anything. this also extends to that close friend to a certain degree but said close friend could pretty easily probably wreck them so they don't even think about that. Diem is like a basket case of their own but a good majority of it is just a LOT of pent up emotions and stress from a young age leads to a pretty fucked up 20-or-so-year-old.
Even though Maddie does admittedly miss Diem and their original father figure she's pretty happy with Nyx and the others. Nyx has some pretty complicated feelings on Diem whenever Maddie finally tells him about her (or god forbid they interact) but a good portion of it is just pity.
also i guess i should mention it so uhh ; og father figure did NOT actually abandon them he did in fact try looking for the both of them but was entirely unsuccessful and assumed they just kind of . died . he's tried talking to that friend about it but said friend and him aren't exactly on speaking terms, it's a little hard to talk to someone when they're busy with slaughtering their rival.

I've wanted to create an "official poster" of sorts for the AU for a while now, but the fact that I still haven't come up with a good name for the for it has kinda just led me to procrasinate on it lol.
But considering the AU made it into the @tmntaucompetition and you're supposed to make propaganda for it or something I figured I should stop being lazy and actually draw something haha
So uhhhh if I make it through the preliminary rounds I'll promise to at least try to come up with a proper name?? ....Eventually. So ya'll better vote for my AU otherwise you'll be stuck with this shitty placeholder name for all of eternity!!!!

Eldest of the Halliwell-Horner pack, Y/n “Nadine” Horner gets her heart broken by the man she’s supposed to wed in six months. Four years of love slipping down the drain faster than she can try and grasp at the remaining water droplets. But... not all hope is lost as far as the f1 community is concerned and they might be right, since Max seems to be trying to get a little closer to his Team Principals daughter.
max verstappen x influencer!horner!reader
warnings & notes: cheating, mentions of alcohol, small age gap (24-27), strong language, probably inaccurate f1 information, using a name as a placeholder for y/n bc i’m not typing that every time, dates are off by two days in the beginning. deal, might have gotten christian's lore wrong but idk man he's just a white guy

BAHRAIN, 04 MARCH 2024 — REDBULL GARAGE ↴
“Do you want me to confront him?” Max asks, sitting down next to me in the paddock. His hand comes to squeeze my knee, my father rubbing my back as he deletes every photo—every memory of Jacob Taylor from my phone. Four years down the drain. My friends back home at my apartment are currently bagging up his stuff. Both Mona and Ally will move in with me, just like college again, once his stuff is empty. My bare apartment will soon be filled with our old nick nacks but i can hardly be happy about it.
Cheated.
The man who spent 50k on an emerald cut four karat ring with a real gold band, cheated? The man who cried when his mom told him she loved me, cheated? The man who cancelled an entire film set because it conflicted with my schedule, cheated? The man who won over the hearts of not only Geri Horner, but Christian Horner? He was the one who cheated?
Jacob was (strong emphasis on the was) the highest standard I ever held. Now, I didn’t even know what standards to have anymore. Anyone could be a cheater. I never stood a chance.
“It’s fine, Max.” I say softly, wiping at my face again to try and make it look less like I’ve been sobbing since I found out as soon as the plane touched down two days ago. The paddock is buzzing, qualifiers getting ready to start for the first GP. The warm Bahraini sun beats down on the track and I can see the heat wiggling above it. Even in March it’s as hot as summer over here, and part of me misses the gloomy, smoggy streets of London right now.
“It’s not fine!” Max groans at me, throwing his head back in exclamation. I know he’s sick and tired of hearing me say it for the thousandth time, but if I say it’s not fine, I’ll break down. And we can’t have that.
“Max,” Pierre’s voice calls before Max can go on another tirade about killing Jacob. Max turns and I can see the hesitance in him to leave my side. He’s been like this since I met him the first day he raced with Red Bull years back—instantly the two of us clicked. When the days got hard, or his dad got on his back a bit too much, I would appear by his side and with a tiny smile somehow I'd fix everything. After I became his sort of 'chauffeur' when one of our drivers got sick in Abu Dhabi his first year, and we got stuck in an hour of traffic with nothing to do but talk, we became basically glued to each others sides.
I think having my unwavering support made a lot of the transition into Red Bull easier for him. And in moments like these, where he's watching me with a keen eye, I don’t know how I lived so long without his calm presence at my side. I was only a five years old when my dad joined Redbull, it’s been my entire life, and every racer who has passed through our team has never stuck to my side like Max Verstappen has.
“Go.” I nudge his knee when I see his hand twitch and hover by his helmet, eyes darting to me and then Pierre who waits in the doorway, so I supply, “I’ll be here when you get back.”
Max nods, giving me a departing hug before he gets up and starts tugging his racing suit on. Immediately my father replaces him, turning my head to card his hands through my hair.
“Oh, honey.” My father murmurs, squeezing my arms as he lets me lean into him, “I’m so sorry.”
“Don’t be sorry, you didn’t do anything wrong, Papa.” I sigh, leaning into him and letting his wrap his arms tight around me.
“No, I trusted that boy. That’s what I did wrong.” He says back, before handing me back my phone. We sit like that for a long time, people passing us without asking. Everyone knew. I had found out the same way they all did—on social media. Jacob didn’t even have the balls to tell me himself. Fucking coward.
Eventually someone calls my father away, the racing must now in full swing. So I force myself to sulk off to a hidden corner where I can munch on chocolates and watch Max from a little tv. Not as good as my usual perch next to my dad, but I don’t need the public seeing me the day I find out my fiancé of several years had been cheating almost the whole time. With his co-star. Fucking hell.

10 MARCH 2023 — LONDON, ENGLAND.
I knew returning home to my apartment was going to be hard. I had spent a few days with my dad, Geri, Olivia, Bluebell, and Monty. My father's third marriage had brought me Bluebell and Monty, Olivia's mother my first step mother and my father's second wife.
My mother? I didn't speak to her for good reason.
But being in my father and Geri's home had been refreshing enough to start and heal my heart. I also learned that Geri was really fucking good at healing, it involved a lot of wine and a lot of cursing.
My apartment had been a home full of happy memories of moving in with Jacob, and our time living together everyday I wasn’t at GPs and he wasn’t on set. Memories of our families and friends together with us, and now it would be just me. So empty. Alone. White walls with no decorations anymore. Just staring at me, closing in slowly.
God, I’d rather kill myself than deal with the solid ache in my heart that hasn’t left in almost a week.
Opening the door I sucked in a breath of pure agony. My father’s warm hand around my shoulder a soft reminder that even if I felt abandoned, I wasn’t alone. Not by a long shot. And as the door clicks open, my hand finds the lights instinctually, and my eyes widen to dinner plates.
“Welcome home!” a chorus cheers and I laugh, all my of old friends circled around the end of the foyers hallway, wine glasses and soju bottles in hand. I can’t even speak as tears fill my eyes and the girls run to me, waving my father off. He kisses my hairline, tells me he'll text me when he gets home, and shuts the door as my friends cart me into the kitchen and wipe my tears and fix up my messy hair with giggles.
“Tonight!” One of my friends—eventually I source the drunken giggles to Ally, “we will make you so hot and sexy, he will regret it.”
“And if he comes crawling back!” It’s Mona now.
“We will rip his dick off!” Marija shouts and the girls raise shots to me.
“Guys—what is all of this?” I can’t help but laugh, and then the three look at each other and smile.
“So… you’ve heard of a revenge dress, right?” Ally says slowly, and it all clicks.

Horrortober Day 24- Taken(Yandere Rise Leo x Reader)
A/N, not important: My birthday's in 8 days lol. This doesn't have anything to do with the fic, but I'm really excited because I get to take the day off and it's literally the day after Halloween. Any criticism is welcome, constructive or not. This is supposed to be a gender neutral reader, so if I screwed up somewhere, please tell me.
-Ollie
CW: needles, kidnapping, me trying to write Leo differently, dark themes, yandere themes.
Words: 2017
Summary: Leo's heart's in the right place. It always was.
You shift in the chair you were tied to, familiar wooden structure being the same one used for Casey just a few months before. You never imagined yourself in it, especially not tied down. Your head was still spinning from the hard drugs going through your system, the sleep refusing to leave your mind as you fight to stay conscious even now. Leo stands in front of you, his shell against the door of his room. His eyes are cautious, a smile on his face that’s hiding the nervousness in his posture. Neither of you had spoken since you awoke, your mind too hazy to fully understand what was going on.
You try to move your arms again, looking surprised when they don’t come up. The rope dug into your skin, the ties much tighter than necessary to keep you still. Your lidded eyes turn back to Leo, your mouth opening then closing again as you try to speak.
“Why am I here?” You mumble out, your voice heavy and slurred. Leo taps his foot on the ground, not wanting to answer immediately. He seemed unsure, like he was still trying to justify to himself why you, his best friend, was tied to a chair in his room. You let your head fall back against the small bit of wall Leo was able to push you against, your eyes closing again as you try to convince the sleepy feeling to fade. The haze in your mind was slowly dissipating, but it was taking too long for your liking.
“You got hurt.” Leo finally answers, making your head perk up to look at him. You blink slowly at him, trying to decipher what he meant. You look down at your legs, seeing the dark bruises still papered over them like a toddlers attempt at painting. Each one was mottled and ugly, dark stains upon your skin. In this moment, you could barely remember where they had come from, only small instances of people crying your name coming to mind. You look back up at Leo, still uncertain how the bruises tainting your legs(and your arms from the feel of it) contributed to you being here.
Leo seems to understand the look of confusion you shoot him, his soft smile turning into a reserved frown. He taps the floor with his foot for a minute, the cogs behind his eyes turning as he comes up with a way to explain his reasoning while keeping you calm.
“You almost died yesterday,” Leo starts, his voice pained. He pushes off the wall and walks towards you, sinking to his knees as his hands rest on yours. You feel him rub the exposed skin of the back of your hand, your glassy eyes, staring down as you try to remember what he was talking about. Yesterday was a blur to you, only faint words and pain being the placeholders for that day in your mind. Leo swallows, his hands squeezing yours. “I’m not going to risk losing you like that ever again. So you’re staying here.”
Leo’s lips pull back into a small smile, ignoring your stunned face. “It’ll be fun! Like, a permanent sleepover. I’ll teach you how to properly skate, you can have whatever side of the bed you like, and you’ll get to eat Mikey’s great cooking every day. It’s not so bad.”
You stay quiet, just staring down at Leo as his smile slowly drops again, his brow line scrunched in worry. One of his hands moves to cup your face, his thumb gently rubbing your cheek while he softly coos at you. You weren’t sure how to feel about this, half of you feeling it to be a cruel prank while the other… His eyes were too genuine to be fibbing, and he’d never do something like this as a prank. Not to you.
“Leo?” You mumble, blinking slowly at him as the fog slowly starts to seep out of your brain. Something was wrong. Everything was wrong. Leo’s touch burned rather than comforted, but you couldn’t even move away. “What’s going on? I don’t like this.”
Leo lets out a slow breath, still rubbing your face. He looked agitated at your words, but was still holding a soft patience for you. You couldn’t help but be upset, knowing he was treating you like a helpless child. “I know. I know, but you have to listen to me. I’m… You don’t get a choice in this. I’d say I’m sorry, but I’m not.”
Leo’s face is one of pity, like this really was something he felt was a hard but necessary thing to do. You move in the chair, hissing as the fibers of the rope dig into your skin. Leo frowns, moving from a kneel to a bowed stand as he steadies your shoulders to get you to be still. Your face scrunches up into hurt and fear as the situation starts to weigh down on you, your eyes glistening with panicked tears that weren’t ready to fall.
"How can you do this to me? I thought you were my friend!" You say, your breathing getting more and more panicked as you struggle. This was insane, Leo was insane.
Leo frowns, his hands cupping yours as he forces you to be still from the shock of the sudden touch. His eyes bore into yours, his determined gaze unyielding. “We are friends. I’m doing this for you. Don’t you know how much I love you? How much I care?”
You whine and look away, not liking how pathetic you felt in the moment. Your brain searches for something to say, for something to get him to drop the act and let you go.
"What if someone did this to Mikey?"
Leo scoffs, a near laugh coming from his mouth as his head tilts back. He’s grinning one more, finding you amusing. You felt sick with how much it reminded you of just last week, back when you didn’t even know this was brewing just under the surface. Leo lets his grin spread lazily across his face, his posture more relaxed while he continues to caress your cheeks like he was in a trance. "Mikey would never be in this situation. Plus, if he was, he’d escape and then we’d kill whoever tried."
"So you admit this is wrong?" I point out, hoping he would now realize how hypocritical he was being.
Leo chuckles again, squashing your wishful thinking. He lets go of your face once more, pushing up on his knees as he stands up. “Nope! I know what I’m doing. Plus, you’re here because I love and care for you, not because I want to do something bad to you. You’re safe here.”
You stay quiet, staring at him in disbelief. He was deluded, so far into his own world of wants that he doesn’t even realize his own injustice. You thickly swallow, trying to keep calm. It was Leo, Leo was reasonable. You just had to reason out of this. “But what about my family? My life? School, work, and everything I’ve been doing since, well, forever? I can’t just leave all of that behind.”
Leo scowls, rolling his eyes. He sits on his bed, starting to take off his arm and leg wrappings. “You don’t need any of that anymore. You have me. You love staying here, I’ve heard you talking to April on how much you hate school and wished you could stay with us anyways.”
Leo looks over at you with a smug grin, feeling proud of having you here with him. You don’t meet his eyes, the situation fully weighing down on you as your breathing stops for a moment. “I just went ahead and made the decision for you.”
You stay quiet. With Leo’s words and his pattern of stubbornness, you knew you weren’t getting out of this without a fight. With a shaky breath, you try again, hoping maybe you could bypass his heart and get to his brain. You just wanted to go home. “I can’t stay here, Leo. What’s Splinter going to say? Your brothers. They won’t let you keep me here against my will.”
Leo chews on his cheek, unsure how to answer. He meets your eyes, pained at the fear and worry that swells through them, but he doesn't crack. This was for you, and he would stand by that until he died. Everything was for you. “They won’t be a problem.”
Your mind instantly goes to the worst, your face falling as you gape at him. Your mouth flaps a couple times, the rope around your chest seeming to constrict even more of your breath. Your voice is airy, fear being the only thing that pushes it out. You couldn’t fathom him hurting his family, but his words didn’t give the mind much to work on other than that. “What did you do to them?”
Leo looks surprised at the question, then his face hardens. “Do you think I’d hurt my family? Is that what you think of me?”
Leo scowls, getting off the bed and heading over to a small desk with a tray of medicine and needles balanced on top of it. Your face blanches at the sight of the needles, your hands shaking as you sink into yourself as much as you can. Leo glances at you, noticing your growing anxiety, but says nothing. The smile on his face makes your heart freeze, suddenly realizing he was enjoying this. Your fear, your worry, the panic coursing through your veins. All of it was feeding into his delusion of you being the helpless darling for him to save.
Leo sticks the syringe into a small glass, sucking up whatever liquid it contained. Despite your shaking and fear, you couldn’t look away. All focus was stuck on the thing you feared, the glint of the needle making your heart hammer against your ribs. Leo continues on, not seeming to mind you panic. His gaze flickers to you for a moment, a soft smile forming that you assumed was meant to be comforting. “Sorry about this, I know you hate needles. But I really don’t want to argue the rest of the night, and pills take thirty minutes to kick in. I’ll be quick, I promise.”
He sets the vial back on the tray, the needle loose in his hands as he walks over to you. You start to scream, completely hysterical while you rock the stationary chair. Pure adrenaline rushes through your veins, unable to calm yourself down from the one thing you knew Leo was aware you were scared of. You were certain he was doing this on purpose, his satisfied smile making you sob while he rolled you your sleeve and cleaned a small patch on your arm with an alcohol wipe.
His hand wraps around your bicep, keeping you from jerking away while he carefully inserts the needle into your arm. Your mind reels, focused completely on the needle and the intrusion in your skin as you bawl. Leo finishes the injection and puts a bandaid on your arm, smiling cheekily at you despite the trust and boundaries he just stomped on. You don’t look at him, slumping in the chair while your sobs wrack your body. He calmly stands up, crossing the room while setting the syringe back onto the tray and disposing of the needle in a small red box.
Your vision swims, the room fading and your cries quieting. Leo breathes out in relief, glad to see you calming down. He watches you fight the drug, knowing you’d succumb to it soon enough. You were so much easier to talk to when you couldn’t think. “Goodnight dear, we’ll try again when you’re calmer.”
His voice echoes through your head as you go limp, the world disappearing and mind sinking through the floor of your head. Your cries cease and Leo’s left with your sleeping self once more, his mind already coming up with a million different ways to convince you of your place by his side.

'It’s like doing every little thing that you used to do with Tsumiki, and Megumi, sometimes, too— time spent after or during school, time spent laughing and giggling over the phone, time spent over snacks that keep you so full you don’t even want to eat your next meal— the same, but different.'

Yeah, no matter what happens, no matter what changes— you'll live, probably.

Out of everything you wouldn’t have expected this.
It could have been her telling you about how Valentine’s Day is coming up, complaining about how that one teacher’s been giving her class quizzes every lesson, or gossipping about frivolous things like the drama happening among the girls in her grade.
But you don’t expect the phone call to go like this.
“Hello?” you ask into the phone, “Tsumiki?”
“Hello,” the voice over the phone says. This one is older, more masculine, and you know whose it is.
It’s Gojo Satoru’s.
“Ah, Mr… Mr Gojo? Is Tsumiki home?”
There’s a long pause after that, the silence like paint filling in the gaps of a puzzle when the pieces are lost.
“…not now,” he says, his tone low and heavy, “Sorry, kid. You should…. you can call on another day, okay?”
“I… okay. Thank you. Could you help me tell her that her friend [Name] wants to call her? She hasn’t been talking to me anywhere since, um… the start of the year, I think?”
“Yeah,” he goes, voice aching to the point it makes your heart twinge, “I’ll let her know. Thanks.”
Then he hangs up. It sounded as if he was holding the phone with all the weight in the world, and had his voice drenched in all the pain in it.
And you don’t know why.
-16-2-2017-
It happens once more, and you’re convinced that every time you see them after a while Tsumiki and Megumi slip away completely from your grasp. Tsumiki hasn’t called in months— again, hasn’t responded to nor read any of your text messages and doesn’t even wish you a good morning when you start the week anymore. She always used to do that. You’re sure they would have a reason— you’re definitely sure— but why would they have to go missing on you right after you left?
And you didn’t even want to speak to Megumi at first. Though the two of you had shared your contacts during your trip in Tokyo and agreed to catch up every so often, you struggled to face him. Perhaps it was childish pride— your wish to have been right and to have him apologise to you, apologise to his sister, too; your wish for him to call you up admitting he was wrong.
You suppose you wouldn’t mind if he never did, though— you just didn’t want to apologise to him. You didn’t want to lose or give in, not when your life has revolved so much around these two, not when this is the only time you can control things. Your relationship with them is a journey on a swaying boat, and each time they move it you feel you’re about to fall into the water and drown from them turning it over. This is the only way you can do it to them, do it to him in particular, because you’d let only Tsumiki prove you wrong. You’d let both of them do anything to you— at this point you have because no matter how much they promise to call you back, to listen to your voicemails, to meet you again, you’re the one arranging plans to move to Tokyo; you’re the one calling them for what feels like over and over and sitting with your phone pressed to your ear for an eternity only to hear nothing. You moved all over the country, so why did it feel like you were the only one stuck in place as they moved forward from you?
At this point it’s even hindering you from making any new friends. You choose so much to linger on these two, on two people you met at the age of eight and only knew for a year before you decided to devote yourself to them, that you miss the chance to speak to anyone else your age who could be a lifelong companion no matter where you moved.
Yet at the same time you can’t handle not saying sorry— if there’s one thing that’s festered in you for years it’s the guilt that’s accumulated from being who you are. Guilt from being a burden, guilt for not having been a better daughter or an easier child to raise, guilt for not apologising after scolding someone over something that never really mattered. What you fought over: in the end, it didn’t matter, right?
Still, you’d rather be immature than lose control the first time you’ve had it; you’d rather be immature than apologise for something you refuse to say is your fault even if your greater conscience tells you to apologise either way.
Your thoughts are scribbles on paper, and you can’t decide, really; you can’t make a stand on what you really want: an apology, to apologise, to be proven right, to be able to talk again, to completely refrain from talking to him at all for the rest of your life—
This really shouldn’t be that big of a deal. So maybe it’s because Valentine’s Day has just passed and you’re lonely and he’s the only one you’ve ever had feelings for, or because this is the compromise you can come up with the part of yourself that wants control and the part of yourself that thinks the world is better off with you being less of a weight on someone’s back.
Anyway, you phone Megumi up.
Slowly, you key his number in— you swore not to forget it when he gave it to you last year, when for a few days you had rebuilt your friendship with him through awkward conversations and beating around the bush, only for it to crumble and come crashing down.
You press the phone to your ear. Its screen feels cold as the side of it grazes the skin on your chin. It vibrates and rings, its hum like a bee’s buzz, as you wait for the reply.
“This is Fushiguro speaking. If you’re hearing this, I can’t be on the phone right now, so just leave a voicemail message—”
You’ve never felt more hurt after feeling his voice reach your ears.
-20-2-2017-
You try again. The beep seems to mock you as you put your phone down and collapse against the mattress.
All of it, the frustration, the melancholic nights spent dialling numbers over and over again, the emptiness that greets you after like an old friend who knows you all too well—
— it has all happened before. It’s happening again and all you can do is watch as it does, forbidding yourself from interfering with what you’ve claimed is now a relapse of the distancing that you had no control over two years ago.

“We may be moving back to Sendai for a while, since we’ve got to settle some things with our old house there,” your father states— you know that you’re guaranteed to be spending your last year of junior high there, though, since it’s less than a month until the next school year— “Are you okay with that?”
“Yeah, sure.” You don’t have the number of any of your classmates at school, and you don’t really care to ask anymore. “Want me to help with anything?”

4-5-2017
Anticipation for the summer vacation breaks into your school calendar. The summer of 2017 is the first one you’ve had while having a friend close to you besides Megumi and Tsumiki, with Yuuji and you heading off for arcade games every Tuesday, laughing about goodness knows what in between classes and sending each other videos of old vines on Youtube before Vine died at the start of the year. It’s like doing every little thing that you used to do with Tsumiki, and Megumi, sometimes, too— time spent after or during school, time spent laughing and giggling over the phone, time spent over snacks that keep you so full you don’t even want to eat your next meal— the same, but different.
With a skip in your step, you head to class. Yuuji’s in there, and hey— it’s a Thursday, so today you’re especially excited.
That’s what’s been happening to you recently: excitement. Colour. Before meeting him it felt as if things were bleak, dull, grey like piles of dust. Yet you suppose becoming his friend has brought that colour back to you, because now you look forward to days instead of dreading them, all for the sake of him. How romantic.
“So? Which girl in our class do you like, Itadori?”
“I don’t like any of them.”
“Yeah, but if you had to pick one!”
The other boys don’t even mention you. It does make sense. At this point you may just seem to be someone desperate for his attention: of all the people in your class, you talk only to him, mostly because you’d struggle talking to any other girls, even more so any other boys. They were all intimidating at times: the baseball pitcher who dragged Itadori near his table every now and then, the pretty girls always willing to lend you bobby pins and hair ties with the best makeup you’ve seen and rolled-up skirts you feel you could never replicate and look good in, the smart student council leaders sitting at the front of the classroom completing their homework during lunch periods. Even if what would meet you while talking to them was not ridicule, it would be, at the very least, an uncomfortable silence frozen in the air from your awkwardness.
And hearing all this kills you because you know it would never be you. You wonder why it does— liking him was fun. It was supposed to be something you dallied in for your own sake, because doing what a girl your age should do instead of rotting in your room comforted you.
Yet your feelings were fickle, you supposed, because what was a source of joy slowly became a slightly painful twinge in your chest that you ignored each time you waited for him to tell you anything that could have indicated any feelings towards you. It was over from the start: you knew you’d never be the type of person he’d like; your handwriting wasn’t pretty, you were an inelegant klutz, weren’t gentle or caring or anything like that, just awkward. Tsumiki could, though, you think. Tsumiki had a natural grace, and a soothing charm that followed her like the scent of eucalyptus from her shampoo and conditioner. If it were Tsumiki, anyone could fall for her— any boy or any girl, anyone. But it’s you, and you find yourself wallowing in self-pity as you hear him say it before noticing one of the girls— Ozawa Yuko, you think— standing in front of you.
You don’t know her well enough to say anything about her. Still, you know that she’s a good few inches shorter than Yuuji is, and that whenever you walk past her you can vaguely pick up the scent of camellia shampoo.
That’s the type that people— boys, at least— like. Graceful girls with elegance emanating from them, radiant and warm and friendly, even if they may be shy. You know how some other students have spoken about Ozawa, mocking her for things she couldn’t control. And it was stupid as hell: you guys were teenagers, there’d be no need for her to want to lose weight now— she still had so much time to grow and losing weight would stunt it, plus she would be adorable either way, too.
In the few months you’ve known him you know Yuuji isn’t like that. There are boys your age, with their boisterous laughs and common cruelty, and then there’s Yuuji. He’s never said a wrong word about anyone; he likes Jennifer Lawrence and tall girls with big asses but he’s like others in the sense that he loves people who are kind, sweet— someone like Ozawa.
So when you see Ozawa waiting by the door, about to listen in with a light blush on her face, you know you don’t even need to hear his answer.

[Yuuji]
nah not the same when i’m not walking bakc with u
It hurts a bit as you walk home on your own, but you don’t cry.
Now it’s time to be useful.
The next day, you talk to Itadori as usual. Nothing changes.
But then during lunchtime you head to where Ozawa sits— today she’s in the classroom for a change, and she’s all alone, and you should’ve tried your best to prevent that so that others wouldn’t be like you. If Itadori was the one to be sitting by your desk, you’ll be like that for her whenever you see her.
“Um, Ozawa,” you mumble, tapping her shoulder.
She looks up. “Ah… hm?”
“...good luck!” you say, holding your thumb up as support, “I’ll cheer you on…! If you ever want to talk to him, I’ll help you, okay?”
You run away before things get too awkward, but a connection established is a connection regardless, and you’ve won for today.

Your parents seem on-edge these days, your mother stressed and tired as she always is, your father worried about nothing you seem to know.
One night your mother places her chopsticks on the rim of her plate. The way she does it is in defeat— silently, firmly so as to show that she wasn’t quite done, that she could still hold them with all her strength in defiance. You only see her that way after your parents fight: that frown, the passively violent, deafeningly soundless aura from her actions. Because it was always your father who “won”. You didn’t have a place to judge— your parents were a sterling team together; even if they fought things would be resolved and you’d have no say in the matter. It was only theirs and if they treated their arguments like fights they brought war weapons to, they would agree that you had neither the life experience to stop them nor the wisdom to solve their problems. You couldn’t handle it either: their fighting and how it froze the air solid, the way it could erupt into them shouting at the tip of their throats so long as they were in their bedroom, because they knew you wouldn’t hear. And so beyond words your father always won their arguments, each of them treating the other like an enemy on the battlefield.
Your mother turns to you.
“Your father has to go to Tokyo on the 24th,” she states, “They need him back for something.”
“Jujutsu sorcerer stuff?”
“I won’t take long,” your father smiles, as if he had not hurt your mother’s feelings to get her to give up, “And I’m not going to be involved in the actual fighting like last time.”
“Then why do you have to go?”
“It’s something really important.”
You frown.
He sighs. “There’s going to be an attack on the 24th,” he says, “Something planned by a man named Geto Suguru, a curse user with an extremely powerful cursed technique. I’ll just help with healing anyone’s injuries,” he explains, “…you know, I actually wanted to bring you there and see how things work in real time, since it seems you’ve been interested in your cursed technique lately, but someone didn’t want you to do it.”
“Don’t bring me into this again,” your mother spits at him.
“I already told you it wouldn’t involve any of us getting hurt,” he retorts, “If I bring her there I won’t even let her use her cursed technique, I just want her to see how Dr Ieiri and I do it—”
“Ah!” you go, “Dr Ieiri Shoko, right? Megu— ah, I heard about her last time, from… someone.”
“From Megumi?” your mother says, “Darling, don’t think about those two anymore, it’s better if you don’t get involved with that or that world at all—”
“Anyway,” your father interjects, “Do you want to try it, sweetheart? And if it all goes well with most of Tokyo still being intact and us having some extra time left, I can see if Dr Ieiri is able to teach you about reverse cursed technique—”
“I told you, she’s not going anywhere near all of this—”
“You and I both want the same thing. It’s not like I want her to be a jujutsu sorcerer, I’m just looking out for my daughter’s interests in healing and recovering things—”
“Wait!” you interrupt them, “I— let me think about it, actually. Could you let me think about it, please? And I promise I won’t do anything near the battlefield, I swear. I mean— I just thought, um, that since they’re going to do some, like—- actual stuff, I guess?— that I wanted to see how it works. I still don’t want to fight. I just want to see if I could help, you know, and it would be good if I could see how Daddy and Dr Ieiri do it so that I can learn from it and stuff and in the future I can make myself useful to other people and all so please don’t fight—”
“You’re rambling,” your mother states, her hands on her lap. Ultimate defeat. Absolute resignation from it all.
You almost want to cry at the sight of it.
“Of course,” your father replies, “Give it some good thought, okay, darling?”

Time moves like tennis balls against rackets. Yuuji will always be a great friend, you’ve decided, even if he doesn’t like you back. Besides, now, things are back to being fun: you’re going to crush on more people and have fun and see if one day someone confesses to you, and maybe by next Wednesday— the fourteenth— your sweet sixteenth Valentine’s Day will be the first one not spent alone.
Sighing, you close your book again after a long day. There’s pencil lead stuck to the side of your pinky finger as you stack everything together and straighten it against the table so that everything in your bag gets inside all neat and even.
“Man, [Name], you always keep everything so neat,” Yuuji comments, “I just stuff everything in my bag. Surprised I haven’t lost all my stuff yet.”
“That’s why all your stuff comes out crumpled,” you say, “Your notebooks come out like they came out a rat’s nest— no offence.”
“None taken,” he replies, bending down dramatically, “Seriously, [Name], you’re a really good student! Smart, too.”
“You sure?” you ask, standing up with the straps of your bag slung against your shoulders, the two of you exiting the classroom, “I fell asleep during class and only woke up when she gave us those questions. I’m gonna have to check the textbook to finish it up tonight…”
“Still smart to me, honestly,” he states, “I’m a pretty dumb guy.”
You hit him playfully on the shoulder, and he jerks forward for a second before coming back up again. “Nah, be confident! You’re, like, good at sports and English and stuff. I can’t do any sports to save my life.”
“Well it’s not like I can do maths for shit, honestly.” He slumps down.
Then— “Ah, wait, Yuji, sorry— I’ve to go to the bathroom for a second to check something—!”
“Huh? Check what? Wait, uh— want me to hold your bag for you?”
“Sure—” your pads are in there— “Wait, nonononono— I’ll be fine, don’t worry, just something quick, hold on. You go without me first, ‘kay? I’ll meet you at the famima we always go to.”
It turns out to not be a false alarm, and the thing comes early by a few days. You’re lucky you at least have some of your emergency supplies with you so that you can still have a fun day with Yuuji as long as you don’t drink too much green tea or coffee. A little should be fine, though, right?
Still, you could always cell-manipulate your way out of unexpected situations like these. You just choose not to— it’s not worth the trouble of headaches or nosebleeds. Who’d want to willingly bleed from the top and the bottom at once, really?
You check your appearance in the mirror afterward, and everything looks okay— your hair is normal despite school air’s penchant for ruining it, your uniform looks alright even though your skirt pocket may look a little weird later once you put your phone in it, and your face is the same as earlier today, so… well. You don’t know what that says about whether your face looks good or not right now, but you guess this is alright.

Though it’s a bit far away, the sight that greets you as you finally arrive shocks you immediately. He’s got a little blood on his face— that’s already way too much then you can handle being on his face. It couldn’t be from anything like acne or a popped pimple; the guy’s got clear skin for days and though there’s nothing but a tiny scratch by the side of his cheek you’re running over to him.
But this is what’s worse: high school students, about three of them, lying on the floor, passed out like animal carcasses. There’s another one standing, with straight light-coloured hair and enough fear on his face to seem as if he’d just witnessed a war.
And Yuuji’s expression, which is clear as day even with the distance between you: eyes uncharacteristically cold, face distorted away from his usual boyish grin, aura radiating off of him, lacerating through his usual self like a wolf’s claws through raw, cold meat in the tundra.
“…what about you?” Yuuji says to the guy with light hair.
You run.
“Yuuji!”
“Huh?” He notices you. “[Name]?”
“Yuuji— what happened to you?”
“No, just—” He’s back to normal. “Saw some of them picking on someone, so I started beating them up.”
“What— seriously? You could’ve, like, called the police or something, you idiot!”
“But it wasn’t in school, so I didn’t know what to do… plus, we’re in different schools and all…”
“W-well if you call the police, their punishment would have been worse, right?” you sigh, “Alright, what happened to the one getting picked on? Are they okay?”
“He ran away,” he shakes his head.
Poor guy.
“…and this one, the one standing up here?’ you ask, “Is he okay? He looks pretty traumatised.”
“I’m right here, you know!” the standing guy answers. So besides standing in silence, he can talk after all.
“Oh, this one?” Yuuji points, again not acknowledging him. He was just standing there, stunned like a deer in headlights, instead of lying on the ground. “Just seemed like peer pressure or something. He didn’t hurt the guy.”
“Ah… what’s your name, guy?”
“…Rin Amai,”
“You okay?”
“…yeah, just, I guess, surprised? I mean, by the pink-haired guy’s strength and all. You guys are middle schoolers, right? That means he’s crazy strong.”
“His name is Itadori,” you sigh, “Yeah. He’s a strong guy like that. He stands up for good things.”
Yuuji chuckles, scratching the back of his neck, “Aw, thanks, man!”
“Well, now that they’re knocked out, I can kind of say I didn’t like them that much to begin with…” Rin remarks.
“Ah, I get that. Nobody likes people like them. When you can, stand up for others next time, okay?” you advise him, “Got any injuries?”
“No, just a scratch here and there. I’ll be fine. Thanks, you two.”
“No worries.”
“Still wanna go to the arcade?” Yuuji asks.
The two of you say your goodbyes to Rin, who offers to wait with the knocked-out students after that— you’ll probably only ever see him once or twice after this. Yuuji offers to take your bag but you deny him, and the two of you stroll to the arcade.
This has happened before, really, and there’s some kind of anticipatory grief sticking to you as you ruminate over what he’d done. It’s like you’re waiting for things to worsen: either you tell him that he shouldn’t have beat students up even if it was for the sake of others, or you don’t and make decisions conflicting with your own moral code. The last time you’d seen someone get back from a fight, your relationship with them ended up severed, whether due to your commitment to your own ideals or not.
You debate on asking him not to do the same next time, not to get hurt and not to hurt people who pick on others, and—
—the arcade is closed.
“Aaaahhh! Seriously? Sorry, [Name]. Forgot they said they’d be closed today. Last week one of the employees told me they’d have to settle some issues or something.”
Of course he’d befriend the employees. It still surprises you that every now and then he’s so kind it hurts.
“No, it’s fine,” you reassure him, “You know, I don’t really feel up to it today either. Still kinda shaken.”
“Don’t worry about that, honestly! I’m fine, and they’re fine too.”
“Will they be, though? Have you gotten any injuries?”
“Don’t think so. I’ll be okay anyway, though, ‘cause I’ve got a high pain tolerance— ow!”
“‘High pain tolerance,’ huh?” you sigh, “Is it a strain? Are you okay?”
He winces, “I don’t know if it’s a strain or a sprain,” he answers, “But it’s on my ankle, and it hurts a lot.”
“Can you walk?”
“Yeah, but— it hurts…”
You rest his arm on top of your back, taking hold of his shoulder, guiding him on the way back to his home.
His grandfather— a man with grey hair yet enough energy to wake up at 6am before exercising and going on walks every morning— nods after you explain the situation to him, and lets you stay with Yuuji for now due to your worrying.
The first thing to do with a sprain or a strain is to rest the injured area.
“It’s strange that you got it on your ankle of all places,” you say, outstretching his leg for him, “Were you walking funny or anything?”
“Nope.”
“Maybe you’ve been overusing it, then,” you theorise, “Okay. No running and all for a few days, okay? Or just, until it feels better.”
“Huh? But I’m in the track and field club…”
“Spend some time with the occult club or something,” you tell him, “You can just tell the student council president or the track and field club president that it hurts, so you’ve got to go to the occult club to still be able to support your other interests and stuff as you recuperate.”
“Nah, they’d call bullshit.”
“Pft. You don’t know if you don’t try,” you joke. “Wait a second, let me go get some ice.”
He lies down, his arms resting by his stomach. “You know, [Name]…” he starts, his voice louder for you to hear.
“Yeah?”
“I’m happy you’re my friend.”
If you were a dog, you’d be wagging your tail and kicking your feet up into the air, so happy that your smile is uncontrollable— and the last time it had been that way was more than a few years ago.
His voice stays as loud but you hear it better, clearer, as you move up the stairs with the ice pack. “I mean, I thought I was a pretty lonely guy, and sometimes I still do. Like— I mean, you’re a lonely girl too sometimes, I think.”
You sit down beside him, probably a little too plaintive in your actions than you intended. “…yeah. Guess people could tell…”
“But, hey. I met you and we get to do all sorts of cool and dumbass shit together. So I’m happy I met you and that we became friends, you know? I’m happy you’re even here. So now we’re both a little less lonely, and the world has two new people who are a little less than lonely.”
It’s warm despite it being winter— you hope his hoodie and his student jacket are enough to keep him from freezing. Every time you enter his house, you wonder how he must have lived as a child. You imagine a smaller-sized Yuuji,  with wild pink hair and a tired grandfather, living in this house with its wooden tiles and untorn paper calendars from the year 2000, in his endearingly tardy room and boyish clothing choices. The thought of it melts your heart, almost.
“Yeah. I’m happy you’re in my life, too, Yuuji,” you beam, “I’m happy you said hi to me that day, because I probably wouldn’t have made any friends. Like, I thought every time we moved somewhere we’d move again to somewhere else, so I kind of gave up. I didn’t want to get attached. Because there would always be something happening after, like us moving and eventually I thought every day was a chore, because I had this kind of… how do I say it— this kind of ‘I’ll escape one day’ mentality, like I didn’t move forward to each day anymore. But being friends with you brought that back to me, kinda.”
“Really?” he says as you wrap the ice pack in a towel and press it to his ankle, turning his head to meet yours, “Makes me pretty glad. Thanks, man.”
“I’m glad too.”
“You’re a great nurse,” he grins at you, before leaning his head back against his bed.
It feels good. The praise feels good.
Now you really don’t know what to do with him. Or what to do with how you feel about him.
For a moment you consider this: pressing your hand to his ankle, healing it immediately, placing your hands on his ankle and healing it with your cursed technique. But even so you’d have to explain the whole of jujutsu society to him, and that was meant to be a well-kept secret anyway. Yuuji wouldn’t be the type to do well as a jujutsu sorcerer— he’d save everyone, care for everyone, not because judging who would be right or wrong to save was often convoluted or unsolvable, but because he was a good person. If he failed to help people in dire need, whether it was his fault or not, he would be so guilty he wouldn’t live. You supposed a part of you was like that, too: driven by fear of potential guilt, yet you were driven even more by a need to be useful. If at the end of the day you could help, even if you couldn’t offer someone salvation, you’d accept it— that certain things were out of your control. There would be no point in lingering over not being able to change things you couldn’t change, and your experience in Tokyo last month was part of that. It was what changed almost everything. And you swore you’d never let Yuuji go through anything that would change him, that would take that pure love for the world from him. His name is fitting: his humanity is unwavering, a soldier fighting a losing battle, Sisyphus rolling his boulder up the hill and living through his suffering, the indomitable human spirit against the cruel indifference of the world and the universe.
You’ll tell him one day, you decide.
For now, though, you’ll have to make yourself useful another way: by using the knowledge you have to be at his aid. That’s how you’ll like it anyway.
“Thanks, Yuuji,” you whisper.
Yuuji dozes off. You sit next to him as if he’s a patient at a hospital, watching his breath rise and fall. A part of you wants the moment to stretch out into perpetuity, his steady snoring lulling even you to sleep. It’s creepy as hell. And knowing that you could have all of this: seeing him like this, going to the arcade every Thursday, minding each others’ health; all of it without it leading to him liking you the same way you do him—
—it still hurts. But it’s getting easier to handle it. You’ll deny that it still hurts for as long as you can, staving it off until it really does go away. So you’ll keep silent, no one beside you knowing of your feelings, trying your best to be utilised and useful. You’ll take it to the grave, you’re sure. You’ll continue to be by the sidelines, a helper for convenience and someone to serve, someone to be used.

Could it be possible to request doflamingo reaction to him finding out through his spies or Ceasar that he has a daughter ? I think it's a 50/50 with him like I can totally see him going out to bring her to him. The 50/50 comes to the way he'd treat her. She is a Donquixote after all. Idk with how things ended with Cora if he would be gentle with her. Or just end up trying to using her in some scheme? If you don't have any ideas for how the story should go? Maybe Law and the strawhats learn about her? Maybe she's scared of the family and outsiders and they try and help her?

Broken Bonds (Doflamingo x f!teen!reader)
A/N so I got these request, and I kinda merged them together to make this piece, Doflamingo is problabky Ooc here simply because that ass wouldn’t be soft but we have the power to change that ✊🏽Maybe a cook?? Maybe, maybe a sizzle.

“Let go of me, idiot,” she growled, sending a swift kick to the guard that was currently holding her down
Dokucha had chosen to take on a mission on Dressrosa despite Sabo’s and Koala’s concerns. In the end, they understood that this was something she needed to do. And so she set off to begin gathering information on the Kingdom. However, the mission quickly turned wrong as she was caught trying to sneak into the castle. Now, she found herself being brought to the very man she was supposed to collect information on
Doflamingo sighs, swiftly wrapping strings around the teen to prevent her from further attacking his guards
“Leave,” he ordered, glaring at the guards, who nodded and made a quick exit from the throne room
She refused to look at him, instead focusing her attention on the strings wrapped around her limbs, glaring at them and tentatively pulling at them
“You’ve grown.”
“I'm surprised you recognize me,” she quips back, giving up on messing with the strings and turning to glare at him
“Of course, I still remember the little girl who was stolen from me.” Doflamingo’s lips slightly curved upwards
“I would hardly call it stolen; Uncle Corazon saved me that day, saved me from you.”
“From me?” He said in a soft tone and smirked
“I’ve never harmed you.”
“Who knows what would have happened if I stayed? Maybe I would have become another puppet of yours, or maybe you would have killed me like you did Uncle Cora.”
“I wouldn’t have harmed you; after all, you were still my kin.”
“He was also your kin, your own brother!” she growls at him, a frown growing on her face
“He was a weak-willed, useless fool,” Doflamingo said, showing no hesitation in belittling his dead brother
“Besides, he was the one who went against me; all I did was take care of my problem.”
“Shut up, you don’t get to slander his name!”
“you never met him; you were a baby, so how would you know anything about him?”
“Law told me about him; he never forgot about him, and he told me all about him and you.”
Doflamingo frowned,
“So that boy brainwashed you, didn’t he?”
“You were the one who brainwashed him, and it would have worked if Corazon had not saved him back then.”
“Law was weak, and he paid for it,” Doflamingo said carelessly before standing up and walking toward her
“Law is not weak; he is one of the strongest men I know, something you will never be; he raised me; I got to be a strong independent woman; I got to join the Revolutionary Army to take down assholes like you.”
“You’re still a child who has no understanding of how the world around you works,” he said, getting closer to her
“And you’re still a tyrant who thinks the world revolves around you.”
“Do you really think you’re free? The only reason you aren’t in my dungeons is because you are my daughter, the one that was taken away from me.”
“Oh, how kind of you,” she sneers, sarcasm dripping from her words
“Come back home; there is a throne waiting for you,” he said, placing his hand on her cheek, cradling her face
“What? What are you on about?”
“You would be the princess of the Dressrosa kingdom; what’s so bad about coming back?”
“Like I would come home to a murderer like you,” she said, pulling her head away
“But I’ve never hurt you; I’ve never laid a finger on you,” he said, his voice soft and sincere
“You killed him,” she cried
“You expect me to come home after what you did to him? After what you did to Law?”
“That was a punishment, one he got for betraying me; he knew the consequences of his actions,” Doflamingo said, ignoring her mention of Corazon
“How could you say something like that?”
“Because it’s the truth,” he said, “he knew what would happen if he betrayed me.”
“I loved him, but all he did was betray me, and he got what he deserved.”
“He didn’t deserve to die! You made his life hell from the moment he was small, so how could he not try to bring you down?!”
Doflamingo chuckled,
“I just did what I had to do; I never mistreated him; in fact, he was the closest person to me until he turned on me.”
“Are you going to say the same about Law?”
“Yes,” he said, his tone remained the same and calm
She shakes her head, tears sprouting in her eyes. How could someone think that way of their own family, of a child? As she grew older, Law began to disclose more and more of what had occurred between the three of them, and every time, she grew more saddened as to the harsh life both Law and Corazon had to endure due to Doflamingo
“They were right,” she cries
“I was hoping, wishing that maybe, just maybe, you had changed, but you are just as they described a monster.”
Doflamingo stayed silent, his face a blank canvas with no expression to decipher
His hand returned to her cheek as he listened to her, beginning to move his thumb across it, caressing it and wiping her tears off her face
He sighs, removing the strings keeping her in place
“Come home,” he said, his voice softened, looking at her with soft eyes
She shakes her head, pulling his hand away from her
“This is not home.”
He sighs again, allowing her to step back from him
“It seems no matter what I say, you will not listen to me, not in this state. Go to your room, rest, and we will discuss this tomorrow.”
“My room?” She seethes
“There is no room for me here; I do not live here, nor will I; if you think I'm just going to stay and play at home with you are wrong.”
He lets out a hum at that, a smirk growing on his face
“Perhaps not, but at the end of the day, you are still a prisoner here, so you don’t get a say on what I tell you to do.”
She opens her mouth to protest once again, but is stopped as one of the maids of the castle gently takes her hand.
“Bring her to her room for the night; I’ll send for her tomorrow,” Doflamingo commanded the maid
Despite how disgusted she felt at having to sleep under the man's roof, to accept anything he was giving her, she would need the strength if she wanted to fight down. As she was, she was simply no match for him, so she really didn’t have any other options
She glares at him, allowing the maid to pull her away
“This is not over.”
He chuckled at that, his smile a sharp one compared to the softness he had presented earlier
“I never said it was,” he said before waving her farewell as she was removed from the throne room

Okay let’s ignore the fact that Koala and Sabo, nor anyone in the revolutionary army would ever let a teen just wander off in a mission to spy such a dangerous person alone, and let’s also ignore the fact also wouldn’t just let a teen leave alone to join the revolutionaries until they were grown up 👍🏼 Gotta make the story happen ya’ll

Telephones and Their Possible Connection with the Audience
So some time ago l was scrolling through @/partycoffin’s blog as one does when you fall into the fandom hole of welcome home, and I wanted to do a little speculation post about telephones and this picture:
Tumblr media
Or more specifically, Eddie's and Howdy's ones, and their different rotary dialers.
[Supposed tiny post turned into long theory ramble below cut!]
(I have checked that this was made on 4 December, 2022, so I think this could be speculated on!)
As we can see, not only are the phone types different (with theirs presumably being portable), the numbers used for dialing are replaced with colours instead. Now, a simple explanation could be made that the colours simply replace the numbers, but that's not the case:
Tumblr media
(I know they're not buttons, but let's just use that as a placeholder name for now-)
Neither of them seems to match with the 10 buttons needed for a a normal rotary dial, so the only explanation I could think of is that each colour corresponds with a neighbor.
@softestvine made a post about this before, and if you take a look at the guestbook signatures, the missing purple button on Eddie's phone makes sense since purple should represent him, and therefore his phone number in a sense.
Tumblr media
The real question is why would Howdy have his own phone number. Maybe an extra set of hands means he owns two phones? Or maybe it's normal to have your own contacts to ring yourself up, and Eddie is actually the odd one out? For that I'm not sure.
Continuing on, there's also the curious addition of a black button, which doesn't seem to connect to any neighbor at all. My first thought was that it could be related to Home, but considering that it communicates through onomatopoeia that even Wally couldn't understand sometimes, I feel like it's doubtful that it's meant to be for Home. (though I'm not saying that it's impossible, just unlikely for now).
Which leads to the second theory: it's to represent us, the audience, the viewers of the show. My speculation is that there was a segment on the show that would involve the characters calling or receiving a phone call from a fan of the show, similar to how irl children shows that includes audience participation will show off fanworks in their episodes. (the closest example I could think of is Blue's Clues right now since my sister used to watch that).
Admittedly this feels like a stretch, but phones seem to be important to the show in some manner. In some old posts, we have audio of what prank calls to some of the characters are like, and although they're definitely not relevant to the work now, it's interesting to note that the concept of a way to communicate with the puppets exists.
Another thing is that on one of the secret pages of the website, you're sent to this page:
Tumblr media
An error page that shows altered text and a phone gif instead of the one with Home. Perhaps I am looking too much into this, but compared to the other hidden links, why would this one take us to an error page first, albeit a different one?
Some people have pointed it out here that if you inspect the phone gif, it says "It's for you". When you click on it, you're taken to a page called 'duet' where Wally is singing to Home.
Don't you think it's coincidental that the only page with an audio file was only found through a phone? And why is the page called 'duet' when Home only responds after Wally finished his song? That's because the duet isn't sung by Wally and Home, it's supposed to be sung by Wally and you. By clicking on the phone, you're answering Wally's call, hence the "It's for you" file name.
My conclusion is that the phones were used to talk to the audience back when the show is running, and now Wally is using them to try to reach out to us.
