Omg pls ramble abt your school I wanna hear it
IM SO GLAD YOU ASKED‼️‼️‼️‼️
Ok so kurikulum merdeka or as I like to say "kurikulum terjajah" throws alllllllll the subjects indiscriminately on you at 10th grade (resulting in like 15 or more subjects), THEN you can customize the subjects you take whatever you want depends on the college major you want to take!
11th grade is where you can finally have those "customized" subject combination. Other schools chooses to make "packets" of subjects per class. With different combinations of subjects in every class. And urges the students to pick which class they'd want to attend, according to their major or career choice.
My school on the other hand has WAY more experience with this complicated ass curriculum. Being one of the school where they tested the curriculum on (that being the year before me therefore the current 12th grade). My school made a student survey and urges the students to consults to the school counselors often.
The combination that's more than 10 students want will be accepted as a valid "major" within the school body. Students with niche combinations will be recommended to a similar major.
For example: me and my friend wanted the combo of physics, informatics, geography and advanced math (acronym FIGM) as we both are interested in civil engineering. But we're the only one who wanted that, so we got to choose which similar major to go to instead. In the end, my friend switched geography with economy (EFIM) and I switched geography with chemistry (FIKM).
Some majors are more popular than others for being basically the same as the previous curriculum two class variants. As we said it, pure science (biology, physics, chemistry and advanced math/BFKM) and pure social studies (economy, geography, sociology and German/EGJS. because my school doesn't have advanced history).
There's two more popular combos that doesn't adhere to that though. Like health major (biology, economy, chemistry and sociology/BEKS) and forestry (biology, economy, geography, sociology/BEGS).
Those 4 combo's/majors have enough students to fill a class, so each have classes of their own. Being that, they don't need to move classes between subjects.
How about the rest of the majors you ask? Well, they don't have enough students to fill a class, so they get mushed together to fill one.
I'm not kidding.
For the remaining classes, up to three different majors are situated in the same class. Therefore moving the class between subjects to accommodate all the students.
Physics major have three variants, BFIM, EFIM, and BFIK. There's more than ten students to each major, but none reach more than 15 so they're in the same class. Coincidentally (or not) their homeroom teacher is our physics teacher!
The other variant of forestry that is BGJS, the engineering major FIKM (mine!), And what my friend describe as being the "entertainment" major BEJS, are quite the predicament though. Both BGJS and FIKM reach more than 20 students, not enough to fill a classroom but still a lot. BEJS however, doesn't quite reach 20 yet, and therefore split into two between the classes.
Those last classes being moving classes results in some mixing of majors in the subjects. FIKM often meets BFIK in chemistry. EFIM and BEJS are together for economy. But there's where it ends. The physics major aren't in the physics lab at the same time as engineering, and German forestry (lol) aren't in the lab when entertainment majors are doing German.
All and all, this curriculum is waaaay more fun once you get to this phase (named phase F). 10th grade, or phase E, is only made for torture testing your toes in each subject. I'll admit, 10 graders have it way worse then 11 and 12 graders.
Studying... Wait I'll list it: biology, economy, chemistry, geography, informatics, sosiology and physics, all of the required subjects like maths, English, Indonesian, PPKN, history, arts, religious studies, home economics/prakarya and more. So like, not fun.
Holy shit that's a lot, I hope this ain't boring for you Ori🫡 good luck with school!

[ Reply to this from @guardians-of-dreams ]
→ Silas has been healed by Malachi!
He will no longer appear to be injured in future posts.
→ Silas has also received a wish from Malachi! It will now take the form of a yellow Star Piece and be displayed on his profile.
[ . . . ]
It would be an understatement to say Silas wasn't sure how to react, he took a long moment to stare at the gift. This was the second time someone had given him something. His expression shifted from confusion to worry before settling into something more neutral as Malachi explained.
He didn't say anything at first, he was almost completely lost for words. Only being able to give a small puzzled sound before he hushed up again. It was after a long and awkward silence that he finally spoke up. Unlike his previous loud and over-the-top persona his voice was low and quiet. Barely loud enough to be heard, he seemed to be his genuine self in this moment.
It was obvious he wanted to ease their worry, possibly reassure them. But he couldn't, he couldn't possibly say it, not with all the people he let down. Those he ultimately left betrayed by his impulsive and self-destructive actions. Now that another person was willingly putting trust in him after all these years he wasn't about to make a false promise and ruin their hopes.
With a final sad glance at them, the Zoroark nervously put the item into his bag. Rather than closing it and moving on, he began to carefully go over everything. He shifted things to the side every so often as he appeared to be looking for something, something he could give them. After a while of searching, he finally pulled something small out of his bag.
"It was mine before I was forced to evolve." He quickly cringed at the thought before he continued, his voice still quiet, "My mo- I mean. My trainer gave it to me a long time ago... All it does is remind me of something I never wanted." He sighed holding it out, "Just don't break it, Please. If you don't want it. Just give it to someone who needs it more. I don't care. It's probably worthless to you anyway."
Despite claiming to not care, It was clear it pained him to give up one of his sentimental items to them, but he was too dead set on paying Malachi back to care for his own feelings at the moment.
Begrudgingly he gave the Jirachi the strange stone before he turned away, his usual rude tone quickly returning to cover up any vulnerability that might have slipped out. Silas threw them the best glare he could muster up. "Don't say I owe you anything. Alright? I don't want you knocking on my fuckin' door like a debt collector."
"I don't owe you shit, so don't say I do."
→ What's this? You received an item from Silas! He refuses to take it back. You have been gifted a [Everstone] by Silas, it appears to be roughly carved into the shape of a Zorua.
-> Malachi has been added to the relationships page.

(Spellman Sibling Angst for my dear friend)
_
It happened fast.
Like a flash of lightening, gone between one second and the next.
The kids hadn't wanted to keep pushing forward through the storm, Rävi had been particularly insistent that they should wait it out, but Quaritch had a mission and no rain was going to stop him.
How he'd come to regret that.
Quaritch didn't see it happen, but he heard it. The cursing, the three shouting Spider's name, and he's turning around just as it dissolves into chaos.
Spider had slipped and the visor of this exopack had cracked.
It was being pulled off and instantly Ro'eyk's hands had come down on Spider's face, covering his nose and mouth, so the boy wouldn't accidentally breathe in the toxic air.
"Mask!"
Rävi is shouting, scrambling for his bag, but there's a dawning horror on his face when he realizes there are no spare masks. Quaritch had confiscated the spares, so they couldn't run off with Spider.
Reyzì scream is shrill and none of them can even comprehend what she's saying, but she's feral and launching herself at Z-dog, hands scrambling for the spare mask the recom carries. It catches Z-dog off guard - which isn't easily done - and the force of Reyzì knocking into her has them both colliding with the forest floor before Reyzì is jumping up and away in a manner of seconds.
Quaritch doesn't realize he was holding his breath until he watches Reyzì secure the mask, with practised movements, to Spider's face. It's like whatever spell had taken hold of the squad had finally broken, allowing the events of what just unfolded in front of them sink in.
No one speaks as they watch Reyzì gather Spider in her arms, her taller figure curling around the boy, and Ro'eyk and Rävi join in, creating a protective huddle around Spider as the adrenaline begins to wear off.
It's later, after Quaritch decides to wait the rest of the storm out, that he notices it.
The ends of the siblings' neural queues are attached to Spider, weird tendrils connected to his skin in different places. Rävi has his queue connected to the skin above Spider's heart, Ro'eyk is connected to Spider's wrist, and Reyzì's braid disappears behind the back of Spider's neck.
everyone's about to catch Reyzi's hands, or her taser, probably both. she is beyond pissed; they told the recoms to stop, they told them that they should all have spare masks for spider, they all said they needed to be better prepared. and they didn't listen.
also the queue part? that's cool as fuck. like eywa gifted their selfless choice to raise him with the ability to connect with their little brother.
