Just some things I think deserve a super accurate movie/show adaption in a beautiful 2D animation style:
The How to Train Your Dragon series
Gregor the Overlander
Artemis Fowl
The Adventure Zone
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus
The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (fr so much was left out of the 1939 film!)
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass
The actual Little Mermaid story (there are a ton of adaptations I haven't seen yet so maybe it exists somewhere but we all know Disney’s didn’t even come close)

tell me something about SU perhaps? Anything u want, I just wanna hear u talk about SU :]
im going to be autistic at you for a little bit now about Amethyst and Steven's relationship
ive tried to write out about 3 different versions of this and i havent gotten one im happy with so were just gonna roll with it okay? okay
one of the big things people talk about in the show is how the gems treat steven. the big two examples being in the episodes following A Single Pale Rose and in especially in Future. but a lot of the things people say are only really applicable to Pearl and Garnet. they dont really know how to deal with steven's issues and they both have a bad habit of falling back into old roles and as the show goes on they both start to more and more default to steven as the leader. but Amethyst, doesnt really do that.
after SPR, in between steven spending whole episodes trying to comfort sapphire and pearl and ruby and bismuth, he has an episode with Amethyst in which she spends the entire episode trying to make him feel better and figure out what he needs. which no one else really stops to do even tho she was his mom.
and now admittedly, i havent watched any of future in a While, but from what i remember Amethyst does try to push harder to get steven to talk and actually Doing things about stuff she notices when compared to Garnet and Pearl
to me, what i think this comes down to is the fact that unlike Amethyst, Garnet and Pearl have never really considered or been considered an equal to Steven. when he was younger and before he developed his power steven was at the bottom of the hierarchy within the crystal gems. and he stays there for a long time. eventually he starts to catch up to amethyst and they a little bit start to see eachother as equals, but not quite. and i think thats what happens in the Steven vs Amethyst arc. theyve both grown comfortable in this not-quite-equals dynamic, or at least Amethyst has, and when she thinks Steven is starting to get better than her, shes scared shes gonna get pushed down to the bottom again. but that doesnt happen, steven pulls her back up and together they decide to be equals on a level playing field. theyre equals and when one of them is suffering the other will pull them up, and when one of them succeeds the other can be proud of them. theyre equals
but theres none of that with pearl and garnet. i guess you could argue that together they have an arc about seeing each other as equals, but not with Steven. at first they see him as this little kid, hes just a little kid hes below them, they need to look after him, teach him. but even once he comes into his own and grows up i dont think they ever really see him as even close to a real equal. they either see him as their kid to look after or even sometimes they start to defer up to him, seeing him as their superior.
you could probably argue that as much as steven has grown uo with the gems, amethyst has grown up with steven too. sure shes a lot older than him and she had already been growing into her own. but to me i think the difference between flashback and even early season 1 amethyst to amethyst by the end of the show, she really grew up With Steven.
anyways yeah. i love amethyst and i love her friendship with steven. i love tiger millionare and tiger philanthropist. i love crack the whip, steven vs amethyst, earthlings, i love on the run, i love no matter what, i love whats your problem, i love smokey quartz and i love that they were the first steven/gem fusion

okay I admit the new pjo book (also maybe the solangelo book?) might just be a cash-grab- im still gonna read it and before u label me as a hater here's why-
Rick Riordan admitted the end of the Percy jackson universe once the Tower of Nero came in 2020 and even though it was sad it was a blissful send-off to a very good series- it got ruined by the movies but didn't at least have a storyline that was ridiculously dragged to the ends of the earth even though we had side books (CHB confidential, Demigods and Magicians, CJ confidential etc.) and that was what kept it a gem unlike *cough* HP *COUGH* doing multiple "standalone side books" and labelling them as "side adventures/quests" multiple times isn't fooling anybody
Other series Riordan made (Magnus Chase and Kane Chronicles) didn't get much other than 1-2 side books and thats it- meanwhile just the Percy Jackson series gets so much spin-offs, movies and other things- and yes I get it it was popular and it was popular for a reason but stop capitalising off your most popular series and over-catering to the majority for 1 second and maybe add a bit of background lore and attention to another series? the fact that Rick basically forgot abt his other series and is just making more and more books on pjo is just a dead giveaway for a cash-grab
Also this goes without mention but- YOU LITERALLY DIDN'T EVEN PUBLISH THE SUN AND THE STAR YET, DISNEY IS STILL WORKING ON THE SHOW, THE KANE CHRONICLES MOVIES DIDN'T EVEN GET CASTINGS YET, AND THE CELTIC BOOK SERIES IS LITERALLY FORGOTTEN??? AND NOW UR MAKING A NEW BOOK???
like I said I will read the books- but Rick is definitely no longer making books just for the universe-expansion.

sorry if you've been asked this before but is there a place where we can read the story of antineon hieraeon thus far?
Hiya, Nonny! Funnily enough, because in real life and especially roleplay have taken so much of our time and energy since the past year, we have actually haven't gotten the chance to kick off the official story of Antineon Hieraeon ( we did complete the first episode a long time ago, but we ended up having to restart it after we fleshed out the lore and storyline more ). We're still trying to figure out our schedule with when we can work on the official version, but hopefully we can officially start it soon as it'll certainly be nice to get it worked on at this point. Thank you so much for the interest, though! We do plan to have a sideblog for the episode / chapter updates along with edits and lore / worldbuilding as the story will be shared on Notion. We'll be sure to make a post about this and link it to our pinned post. ♡

love this as posted by goosebumps completionist on twitter as a gtm:pota + gts (series (book) (i also saw the episode but it underwhelmed)) pota enjoyer and also to an extent goosebumps generally (i have only read so many & cue the variation within one zillion of them like "oh right i have only just rediscovered i Did read monster blood b/c a couple details Were familiar to me, but overall it was so unmemorable i forgot this")
noting any of the way being Undead works out here lmao like that basically you're alive and having a mostly typical time. but if you're a ghost you do have that ghost quest to get to, which is why you're a ghost. and if you're having a fully corporeal revived time (which ghosts mostly are. or entirely, as far as anyone ever knew or it was ever mentioned with phantom brian colsen out here) it is also just another tuesday....unless it's not! (welcome to dead house (need to kill some people to sustain you)) (a zombie in trouble (will have to attack with all your fury. do they kill people in a required supernatural way? that's their little secret)) also love the written Goosebumps Humor like this is so funny already. a zombie in trouble. i admit it.
