It’s so funny when my mom ‘warns’ me I have bugs on my plants. oh I have bugs on my plants? The plants I planted for the bugs? Those plants?
oh damn I have black swallowtail caterpillars on my golden alexander? damn I wonder why I planted them. Maybe I planted them for the black swallowtails…

Say hello to the critter of the day: The Madagascan Sunset Moth! This little guy is something special, because he has Limited-Edition RGB Gamer™ Technology!
That's right, this guy comes in rainbow! They don't actually use any pigment to get the iridescent effect, instead relying on the curvature of their scales to bounce off light in different colors! If you have to handle one, made sure not to touch its wings, as it can cause the iridescent powder to rub off.

These photos show the size difference between Aussie native stingless bees (Tetragonula carbonaria) and the average honeybee (Apis mellifera).
Despite being so tiny this little stingless bee worker was trying to steal the pollen straight from the pollen baskets of the poor honey bee.

I hate being a line art person and not a coloring person. Because I’ll finish the line art and then be scared to color it 😭
