A few macro shots from a walk in the woods yesterday. Lots of springtail action and plenty of fungi, typical of the damp conditions at this time of year. There's a shot here of a springtail laying an egg and the last image is something pretty special, it's a tiny springtail hatching from an egg.

Kind of hard to get quality video of these beasties with how tiny they are, but it's super nice to see springtails in the wild!
