ohh now i HAVE to hear more about that charlotte!sanji au. so much potential!! crippled hands, big brother katakuri (what about brulee and pudding btw?), dead judge (as he should be >:D)- do the crew blame katakuri for sanjis hands at first? i mean if a feared big mom pirate barged on my ship with my kidnapped crewmate missing an appendage or two, i might jump to a conclusion or two. and even if sanji forgives katakuri, i feel like some of his crewmates might not be so quick to do so, at least until they see how much he genuinely cares about sanji. oh and sanji must make incredible donuts :DD

Sanji saved his hands, but barely. Not used to using armament on the upper half of his body. Katakuri, who just yote a very injured Sanji onto the Sunny and then just fucking jumped on as well? Luffy probably punches immediately and Katakuri is just like "GET US OUT OF HERE!"

Brulee probably encouraged this. Being the other sibling closest to Katakuri he probably brought this to them and Pudding? Fuck Pudding in this instance. As much as Katakuri wants to take care of his baby sister. Sanji might lose his hands and that's his biggest priority and Brulee is going to distract Big Mom and give them enough time to escape and is also going to explain to Pudding, who doesn't even really remember Sanji from before Katakuri took him, that Sanji was not trying to break her heart but fulfill his dream. Pudding understands but she's angry.

Also when the crew sees Katakuri just spear Judge with his trident mid shit talk? Luffy is confused, very confused. Chopper is fussing over Sanji who has kind of sort of calmed down, he's not screaming any more and is looking at Katakuri's bloody trident like he just did the unthinkable.

"It was deserved." Katakuri says. "Mama probably deserves it as well." And Sanji just nods as Chopper works on him.

"So who are you?" Nami asks.

"I'm Charlotte Katakuri, defected Sweet Commander of the Big Mom Pirates." Katakuri answers.

"He's basically my oldest brother." Sanji murmurs as the blood loss gets to him. Everyone starts freaking out about that instead of the dead king now.

In Wano everyone is looking at Sanji's bandaged arms and hands and the twenty foot tall mochi man next to him and before Sanji can even say anything Zoro is attacking Katakuri with Robin. Katakuri fends them off easily since he can see into the future by a few moments and Nami yells at them both to stop and that he's part of the reason Sanji is back with the crew and not dead.

"And he killed Sanji's dad." Luffy says helpfully.

"He killed the king of Germa?" Franky asks.

"Yeah, speared through the gut with his trident." Chopper nods.

"I could feel my heart pounding the entire time, except I don't have one 'cause I'm dead! Yohoho! Skull joke!" Brook says.

"Thank you for taking care of my little brother in my stead." Katakuri bows to the Strawhat crew.

"What the fuck, Black Leg?" Law asks as he rooms and scans his arms.

"Don't worry about it, he's on our side. I should probably make some donuts soon." Sanji shrugs.

"You do make the best." Katakuri nods.

As a society, we like to blame individual people for their actions, rather than systems for what they create. For example, everywhere we look we see the Church obsessed with the question, “Why are so many young people leaving the church?,” but rarely do we see the Church asking, “What is the Church doing that is pushing young people away?”

People who whole-heartedly love one another cannot get married in the Catholic church because they are gay.

LGBTQ+ youth are taught they are allowed to have "thoughts of desire", but any "homosexual act" would be a sin. Oh and btw, it comes with going to hell.

Have you seen the movie “Boy Erased”? About kids who are forced to ‘therapy’ their gayness away in a church program? It’s surrounds an Evangelical Christian church, not Catholic, but let’s be real: same fucked up stuff happening there with the whole “leave the homosexual lifestyle” message.

They don’t have donuts for the 5pm youth masses. You ever seen a teenager at 9 am mass who wanted to be there? Me neither.

Young adult groups are advertised as follows: “Eighteen to forty-five year olds, come hither!” Talk about the worst marketing tactic in the world. Like hello, ever heard of choosing a target audience? I know when I was eighteen I didn't want to go to a youth event and have “Glenda” there. That is how old forty-five year olds seemed to me when I was eighteen.

As a young girl I was taught about modesty, taught to make sure I didn’t “tempt” the boys with my body or wear revealing clothes since the boys “biologically can’t help themselves” and are “visual learners”. How about we visualize rape culture as a result of all this bullshit of teaching boys to be entitled to girls’ and women’s bodies? Or all bodies for that matter since we are being gender inclusive, unlike the church.

FrFr, I don’t expect the Church to change all of the above, I am simply answering the question of why the church is pushing people away. Anyway, number 8 is simply due to all the hate.

It’s boring listening to older white men in leadership roles, esp. when we know women would kill it up there preaching.

The shame game is strong in a lot of homilies: wouldn’t you want people to feel better after hearing the word of God, rather than worse? Gen Z doesn’t need any more exposure to darkness, there’s enough trauma in their internet-centered lives.

The “if you have sex before marriage and get pregnant” to “give the baby up for adoption” pipeline.

Virginity narratives.

The pews usually don’t have cushions for young, bony behinds. Ouch.

As usual, summer events are not events that our boys will have much time to have fun and enjoy the festival =/. I swear I'd like to know how much they earn, especially when they have to do special performances like this one. Haseyama is so greedy!

omg okay so todayyy 🤭

! this is quite long btw 😭😭

at break time today i saw that D was on duty by the road (he only has duty on fridays by the bathrooms) so me and my friend were like…. watching him……..

i was eating skittles and had one left so i was like “should i give him my last one 👽” so i went up to him my friend was like “guess what flavour it is” and he was like “hmmm i gonna think lime or apple 🤓☝️” (it was apple) then he said he couldn’t eat it now because he had gum in his mouth and then i later saw him put his gum in the bin to eat my skittle i gave him 😭🤞

then we were just asking random questions like “whats your fav film” which he responded was christian bale’s batman movie and his favourite series is ted lasso and that his favourite colour is red. my friend said “but what kind of red… like a brick red?..” and he went “oh are you thinking of the food tests! that’s for benedict’s solution” AAAA he was smiling sm it makes me giggle like he genuinely really loves teaching science 😭🙏

then i had science last period and afterwards he does these small extra science classes every wednesday (which i obviously go to 😜) there’s only 4 other ppl that attend this….🙁 but at the end of them, he does these quizzes and for todays prize was A JAM DOUGHNUT. anyways on this quiz, i was doing SO bad at first😭😭 but for the final question he made it worth 3 marks by this point i only had 3 points. BUT I SWSAR THIS MAN MADE ME WIN ON PURPOSE?!??,?!

like when we were going through a certain section on the subject and he would ask questions like “so then what would this be” and i’d answer and get it right each time. AND FOR THE FINAL QUESTION HE PICKED THAT SECTION BC HE KNEW I WOULD GET IT RIGHT. LIKE THAT CANT JUST BE A COINCIDENCE RIGHTTT?!?,?

anyways i ended up coming in second but the person who won 1st place doesn’t like jam doughnuts so, as i came in second, it went to me !!

oh and the doughnuts were from tesco and reduced to 74p 😭😭 but i don’t blame him in this cost of living crisis. tbh i was kind of expecting him to be more of a custard doughnut kinda guy but whatever x

anyways that’s the end hope u enjoyed 😘

sdkjfasjkld second last episode, this season was kind of short. Oh so THAT'S what a bear claw it. My family was arguing about bear paws, white claws, monster energy, funnel cakes, elephant ears, beavertails, crepes, croissants, donuts, deep fried croissants that ARE donuts, pate a choux donuts which I think are called cruellers, danishes, & we just didn't know what a bear claw was.

Ah well whatever, if they had a non-exclusive relationship (so ig an open relationship) for the first bit then good for them, it brings poly vibes to the relationship & boom fanfic fuel. Anyway ha here we go continuing on. Maybe this is what gets ryan to start wearing ties more often. Btw I saw a fic recently where ryan said his gf got him the tie & esposito was mad bc "I don't mind being called ur gf but I am not taking the blame for that tie" actually it was a vignette per episode for the first season, 100 words each. P good. "If you were having an affair, would your best friend know about it?" ok so espt didn't know ryan had a gal & it's been Two Weeks?

They afford a cleaning lady??? rly??? I hope the bio mom gets to stay in contact with the kid. native kids are disproportionately represented in the system & at least the parents seem to be native too. (Unless they're just (euro)spanish bc spanish ppl can get p dark, unlike my celtic & (not-too-far-east) slavic friends who are white af; & fake tans are in right now. Have you ever seen those quizzes where they cover a fellow's face & u have to guess whether she is black or has an aggressive tan? Yeah I thought the kardashians were black for ages before someone told me they were white. My mum has fostered dogs for as long as I can remember and ya know it's kind of traumatic to build a relationship with a dog and then see them die and to have this happen like every day but I guess I did get something out of my mum fostering dogs.

Oh, what did I get out of it, you ask?

Well... I fucking hate hound dogs. Idc what u say I will never forgive these stupid dogs from ruining my fucking life. Never. I hate most dogs but hound dogs are the ones u see most often and the most obnoxious of them all.

Imagine me, a sad child that wants to die, coming home to find out every single fucking stuffed animal I own has been ripped to shreds AGAIN because of these FUCKING DOGS. UGH. Every damn time I leave my door open for an hour and go back to find out this new fucker has taken the first present my dad EVER GAVE ME THAT WASNT A ROCK- and there she was, Cream Soda, her ear torn off and her leg as well. Would u not hate hound dogs forever? My dad has never paid attention to me and then one day he gave me a present! Finally! Poor little me (probably 10?) Getting his first present from dad, a cute stuffed rabbit that didn't look like he picked it up off the side of the road.

And then BAM. Here comes a new asshat to ruin any happiness I had and tear my Cream Soda (the rabbits name) to bits. AND THEN. my dear best friend gets me a present, a little cat that's donut themed, and guess what? That's right. A different fucking hound dog took it and no one even knows where that stuffie is, WE NEVER EVEN FOUND THEM.

I hate hound dogs. Nothing u could say will ever change my mind. They're so loud and "ph think about how they were abandoned by their owners, they don't know better!" Well guess what, I don't give a shit, actually. I hope those fuckers get eaten in a delicious soup. Assholes.

“Well let's go get them!” Teru clapped his hands and made his way towards the building.

“Let's hope not.” Teru’s carefree expression lowered at the thought. “Do you know where they went?”

Kou thought for a moment.

“No, but I know they aren’t in the old school building…”

Teru and Kou walked around the school for a while, looking for you in no avail. Kou pointed out little droplets of water that slowly got bigger reaching to the school's lockers. The boys froze when they heard sounds of sobbing. They turned the corner to see you facing your lockers drenched in water. You leaned onto your locker, closing it.

“Y/n..!” Kou called out, making you turn to him. “What happened?!”

“Who the hell did this to you…?” Teru asked, examining your ripped close and abused appearance. You looked at him and only cried more.

“I’m sorry big brother Teru…”

“Y/n, you don't need to be sorry, this isn’t your fault..!” Teru hugged you “What happened..?”

“I-its your birthday today… but there was this girl who wanted me to introduce you to her... but I said no, she didn’t take it too well and did this…” You sobbed into his shoulder. Teru’s grip on you tightened thinking about how this only happened while he was outside with Kou.

“I-I saved my money… to buy you a nice sky blue necklace… and I even got big brother Kou light blue one as well… b-but she destroyed it and I don’t have anything to g-give you…”

“Y/n that’s so sweet! We are extremely thankful!” Kou tried to lighten the mood a bit, giving you a gracious smile. You could see tears pricking the corner of his eyes. Teru was still angry that his suspicions were true, he was praying they weren’t.

“Who did this?” Teru sternly asked.

“I-it’s fine Teru…” You kneeled to the ground picking up pieces from the necklace she destroyed “She already left… there is nothing I can do now…”

“Y/n… please…” Kou kneeled down next to you and put his hand on yours.

“Guys, what would make me feel better is if we got home… can we please go home?” Your voice was begging. You just wanted to be in a warm blanket watching T.V. with your siblings.

That's all you wanted right now.

“Okay… I’m sorry Y/n, let's go home okay!” Teru gave you his jacket which you happily accepted.

“Even though I couldn’t get the gift, it meant the world to me!”

You sighed walking to your classroom. It was early and you were tired. You were happy your brothers didn’t ask you about it for the rest of the night, you didn’t want them to worry. You thought you would get a load from the girls who did this to you yesterday but you were shocked when she bowed in front of you instead.

“Y/n! I am so sorry! Please forgive me for what I did to you yesterday! It was very rude of me and I am very sorry!” She was shaking.

“Oh, uh, it’s alright..! No need to bow, I forgive you…” You put your hands in front of your chest, genuinely confused. Once she stood straight up you saw a big red mark on her cheek. She had tears in her eyes but ran to her desk before you could get a better look at her. You looked to Tsuchigomori who only nodded with an apologetic look on his face.

‘What happened this morning…?’

“Teru? You still look down?” Kou faced his brother as they both walked to class.

“Sorry Kou… just a little upset by the person who did this to Y/n…” Teru apologetically smiled.

“Well you slapped her, that taught her a lesson!” Kou encouraged.

“Trust me Kou,” Teru’s smile turned into a frown

“If a teacher wasn’t there, I would have kicked her ass.”

Amane found it unforunate you were caught in the crossfire of him and his brothers conflic causing you too kill yourself as well

Tsukasa thought it was great that his younger sibling was now dead too

Gosh Tsukasa-

But what they didn’t expect was for you to get resurrected

You were able to see supernaturals yourself and you couldn’t age from the day you died but you weren’t a ghost like your brothers

Tsuchigamori helped you establish a somewhat normal school life

It was all good for the most part, you were back in school, Hanako was the leader of the 7 mysteries, and Tsukasa was just crazy happy

The fact you are getting mistreated is mostly Tsukasa’s fault

Like he can make a lot of enemies so when the fish yokai (that he killed) saw how close you and Tsukasa were, of course they wanted to kill you

It was also a perk that you were Hanako’s sibling since they wanted to get back at him as well for stealing their princess Yashiro away from them

You were weak and had a human body, you were perfect

Amane had no idea about this, Tsukasa didn’t know you were being abused but he did know he pissed off those fish AND HE PISSED EM OFF GOOD-

You figured you would be a target for yokai since your older brothers are powerful

Of course, you didn’t mind this

You knew this would happen so it’s alright!

But the thing was, it wasn’t so alright with your older brothers

Hanako watched the cherry blossoms fall from the tree that he sat under. It was November 25, his birthday, and you said you wanted to have a talk with the two boys. Normally you would talk to them separately because you knew how Amane felt towards his twin brother, but today you wanted to talk to them together. Hanako cancelled his normal cleaning duty and waited where you said to meet up.

“Amane!!” He heard a scream from behind him but before he could turn around he felt someone hug him, wrapping their legs around his waist.

“Oh, Tsukasa…” Hanako said softly, personally finding this kind of awkward.

“Where’s Y/n?? It’s been so long since I’ve seen them!” Tsukasa removed his head from Amane’s neck looking around for you.

“Oh, they aren’t here yet, and I remember them saying they saw you two days ago…”

“So long ago!” Tsukasa whined and Amane sighed at his childish behavior. It went silent but thankfully Tsukasa quickly broke it.

“Didn’t Y/n say to meet them here 15 minutes ago??”

“Yeah they did…” Amane started to get worried.

“They're late!” Tsukasa pouted.

“You’re late as well Tsukasa… And we should go look for them.”

“I’ll lead the way! I know where their last class is!” He stood up and started marching, Hanako closely behind him.

They walked around the school for a while, watching students run across the halls to their clubs, laughing and gossiping with one another. Tsukasa continued to march, not losing the bounce in his step. They came closer to the sound of someone crying, sobs getting louder as they approached a classroom. The twins looked at each other before Tsukasa opened the door.

You jumped slightly, removing your head from between your legs to look at who came in. You only began to cry more realizing it was your two brothers.

“Y/n…?” Tsukasa slightly whispered to himself, staying at the door's entrance.

“Y/n! What happened?!” Amane ran to you, fearing you were hurt in any way. He put his arm on your wet shoulder, looking around to see if there were any visible bloody wounds. He looked at your uniform which was damaged and had a few cuts in it. Your hair was also wet like if someone poured water on you. Tsukasa slowly made his way over to you, examining you up and down. You couldn’t make out the expression on his face but you knew anger was there.

“I-I’m sorry…” You said a little above a whisper.

“You’re sorry for what..?” Amane asked, moving the wet hair out of your face to get a better look at your soaked, tear-stained face.

“Big brothers...since this is both your birthdays... I thought it would be better to get you both a gift. But there are these fish yokai who don’t like me..!” You picked up a couple red and green gems from the floor. Hanako’s eyes widened.

“I... know big brother Amane liked donuts and I assume big brother Tsukasa likes them as well… but they took the donuts I made you saying my cooking was t-the worst and you wouldn’t want it..!” You continued “And they took the necklace I bought for you guys saying I don’t deserve it…”

“Were they talking fish..?” Tsukasa's voice was cold, eyes wide with rage. You only nodded your head.

“Amane, will you stay with y/n? I have something I need to do.” Tsukasa turned to Amane. Hanako already knew what he was going to do.

He was going to go after the mermaid and her fish. There was nothing he could say to stop him.

“O-okay… do what you have to do…” Amane nodded and Tsukasa left the room.

“W-wait… where is he going..?” You started to get up but Amane sat you back down.

“Hey, don’t worry Y/n… older brother Tsukasa is going to take care of this okay?” Amane hugged you.

“But I don’t mind the fish… it’s fine-”

“No. It’s not.” Amane’s aura grew darker before his loving brotherly smile appeared again.

“And hopefully by tomorrow, you won’t have to deal with those disgusting fish!”

“Y/n! Amane!” Tsukasa called out as he walked down the halls. When he approached the door he opened it revealing you and Amane laughing. You were somewhat dry and you stopped crying.

“Tsukasa!” You got up and gave him a hug.

“What happened to those fish…?” Worryness in your voice.

“Don’t worry about it Y/n! You don’t need to worry about them anymore!” He childishly smiled, bringing ease to you.

“Amane approached you two, smiling. He looked to see Tsukasa’s hand that was behind his back covered in blood. Hanako's smile dropped and he went silent. He quickly regained his composure and turned to you.

“Yeah, Y/n you don’t need to worry about those fish. Your big brothers will kill any other supernatural that dares hurt you!”

Ten, whole years since you made a contract with Hanako, or Amane as you now call him, and agreed to split half of your soul with him.

At first, he was.. very against the idea of you splitting your soul with him. To go through with such a heavy contract... you would be agreeing to cutting your own life span several years short, as a result of donating them to someone else.

It took a lot of convincing to even begin to sway Amane. But you fondly remember telling him; “If there is one thing that I am sure about, it’s that I want you to be able to live the life that you’ve always wanted. You don’t have to be alone.”

After your fair share of crying, comforting, laughing, kissing and more... ten years have passed.

And here you are now.

In the Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot.

“Oh god,” Amane moaned.

“These are even better when they’re freshly baked.” He took another bite of his donut and closed his eyes with an “mmm”.

You and Amane have been doing various activities to celebrate his ‘rebirth-day’, as you called it. Pulling an all-nighter was hardly an uncommon occurrence.

“See? I told you‒ the ‘Golden Window’ for the fresh donuts are between 10:00 at night and 4:00 in the morning!” You reclined your seat slightly backwards to stretch your arms out with a yawn.

Glancing at your watch with relaxed eyes, you said, “And now, it’s abouuut... 5:45 am. I’m surprised they even served us.”

A fond smirk was exchanged between you two.

“The cashier looked like he was going to smack us upright with that metal tray.” Amane mused.

You dug around in the paper bag for yet, another donut. “Well, can you blame him? Two sleep-deprived morons waiting for him to unlock the door fifteen minutes before opening? The sun won’t even rise for another hour.” you snickered.

“He’s gonna have to get used to that pretty quickly, since we’ll be seeing him more often. I wonder if he’ll remember our names.”

Laughing, you pressed a swift kiss to Amane’s cheek. “Let’s hurry, so we don’t miss the sunrise!”

“Fine, fine.” He bit his lip, trying to hide his smile.

Amane reached his arm across you to grab your seat belt and lock it into place.

“Buckle up, buttercup,” He patted your thigh, laughing.

You just rolled your eyes, a smile already dancing on your lips.

As you both pulled out of the parking lot and onto the familiar road, the only thing on your mind was how content you were. During Amane’s first year back as a human, you were both surprised with how... smooth everything came to him. Of course, he had spent many years observing society’s growth and changes, but he was able to adapt fairly decently.

Based on how naturally he fit back into the world, you never would have known that he was previously a ghost if you hadn’t been at his side from the beginning.

Now that he was given half of your lifespan, he was now able to actually age alongside you.

And after ten years, he was now a little taller, a little less boyish, and a little more handsome. But his playful attitude, messy haircut, and flirtatious behavior stayed the same.

“Can you pass me another donut, [Name]?” Amane asked, flickering his eyes down to search for the bag.

“Amane‒ eyes on the road.”

“Right, right.”

You handed him another donut, which he promptly took a massive bite out of, and gasped in realization. “Shoot‒ Did we leave the blanket at home?”

“....uhhh.. give me a second..”

Twisting around in your seat, you squinted in the darkness to check for the blanket. “Hmmm.”

“Are you sure it’s not there?” He asked, giving you a questioning look.

“Maybe it’s in the trunk‒”

Wait.

You paused.

Amane blinked at you.

“THE ROAD, AMANE‒!”

Both of you whipped your heads back towards the front, just barely swerving out of the way of a fallen tree.

The tires screeched with Amane’s sudden movement, and you held on tightly for dear life as the car narrowly missed crashing into the side barrier.

As you came to a rough stop, both you and Amane were frozen, processing the near-death experience you just had.

Silence.

With a wavering sigh, you let your shoulders drop as you tightly grasped Amane’s hand. He squeezed back, and you could feel that he was shaking just as much as you were right now.

Neither of you had to vocalize what was running through your heads right now.

You both were inches away death.

“A-Amane,” you started. “We should get going.”

He was trying to find the right words to say, but all that came out was a quiet, “Y-Yeah..”

The rest of the car ride was silent, in contrast to the upbeat chatter and laughter only a few minutes before.

You hardly even registered that you had arrived at your intended destination. It was a special clearing that only you two knew about. On a cliff that overlooked a gorgeous forest, the distant city lights, and a faraway sea; this was the absolute perfect place to spend mornings and evenings if you wanted to de-stress and watch the stars.

Amane turned the car off and unlocked the doors, making his way around to the back of the car.

“..Hey, at least we didn’t forget the blanket at home?” He hesitantly smiled, holding up the cursed fabric that started it all, before spreading it out on the grass.

You still said nothing as you slowly got out of the car, a million different emotions crossing your face, and then‒

Thud.

Amane stumbled back as you threw yourself into his chest and clutched onto his hoodie as tight as you possibly could. He couldn’t hear anything come out of your mouth, but judging from the way you were shaking, you were definitely more upset then you had initially let on.

“I-It’s okay.. listen to me‒”

“How are you still so reckless after all of these years?” You said in such a fragile voice, he wasn’t sure if he even was hearing you right.

You refused to look him in the eyes as you tangled your fingers with his own, searching for a way to anchor yourself.

“Amane, you’re not a ghost anymore.. you’re not immortal anymore. So why do you still act like you are, after all of these years?” your voice wavered, threatening to crumble completely.

Now, a different tone entered your voice.

Anger.

“I’m asking you this one time; at least, take your own life seriously! I‒” you halted, your throat closing up with all of the emotions ripping through you.

“‒I just.. I-I’m sorry..”

You let go of him to wipe the tears that were pricking the corners of your eyes.

“..Hey.”

Amane cupped your face and carefully pressed a heated kiss to your lips. What he couldn’t express through words, he poured into his emotions.

“You don’t need to apologize. I’ll be more careful, okay?”

Your hands let go of his to tangle into his hair, while his fingers traveled along the dip of your spine, making you shiver. Amane moved from your soft lips down along the juncture of your neck, before bowing down to scoop you up bridal-style.

"W-Wait!” you yelped, taken off guard.

“What was that?” Amane ignored you with a small smile, carrying you over to the blanket that he had set down on the grass, before placing you down as delicately as a flower.

He relaxed right beside you, giving you a playfully expectant look.

With a breathy laugh, you scooted in right beside him, bringing your knees up to your chest as you curled into his warm side. Amane wrapped his arm protectively around your waist as he brought the blanket up around both of your shoulders.

Soft rays of orange and gold draped across the two of you.

“Hey look,” you murmured. “The sun is finally coming up.”

It’s the little things in life. Because even if it was only for a moment, everything was right where it needed to be.

And you could live with that.

i’ve seen other people doing it and i decided to try it out too! i wanted to document my reaction so i can look back and laugh at my probably wrong theories when the new episode comes out :) i also have thoughts i wanted to share with others, so let’s get on with it!

oh, i thought two was gonna make their own elimination method since cake at stake was kinda four’s thing.

while cake at stake’s going on, i sure hope they pick two RCs since they’re, y’know two. i would’ve thought they liked the number two. also it wouldn’t be equal anyways. alot of these RCs looked really cool so it was hard to choose just one.

avocado: maybe you should learn a thing or two about suspense.

ahh, so that’s what the tpot release date reveal clip was showing. i recognized pin and needle’s point, but i thought they were trying to break the RCs out or smthg.

other, final thoughts

the team logos, jingles and names are rad! well, except for maybe ‘the s’. that’s... an unfortunately stupid name.

so far, bottle is the only one who died. i wonder how two recovers dead contetants?

four never had a problem with projecting their voice, even being able to do it as far as outer space. (bfb 15) this probably has something to do with his ability to screech people to near death, an ability he uses often in the past. this is why the contestants can’t hear two too well like they used to with four. it’s because four’s vocal chords are way stronger compared to two. in conclusion, four is better than two.

i’m happy to see new unexpected dynamics between the characters like basketball and snowball (never thought i’d see those two interact), and lightning and fanny (both originally in iance) as the new death pact members. can’t wait to see them prevent death!

the EXITors’ 2nd attempt happened at the end of bfb 17 but i didn’t notice anything different with four or the bfb episodes. i wonder what happened?

on an unrelated note, there’s something i wanted to point out back in bfb 18, when four said there wasn’t enough room in the EXIT which makes... no sense. i mean, loser and spongey escaped the EXIT so there should be two spots left, right?

winner is either incapable of eating through his mouth, or it’s just his preferred method of food digestion by absorbing it. i wonder if he can absorb other things as well? if so, can he taste it too? i sure hope not. that’d be really disturbing.

at first, i thought winner was going to be the opposite of loser, in a sense that he’d be hated by the other characters.

i never knew about barf bag’s walking problem theory until recently and as much as i like the idea, she seems to be doing all right so that theory might be debunked.

i don’t like pillow ever since bfb 1. she is one of, heck, probably my LEAST favourite character ever. first, she made the arm-waving theory which lead to teardrop being misunderstood and i won’t stand for that. second, she joined death pact because she heard someone say ‘killing’ which is. not reassuring at all. third, her sacrifice back at bfb 4 didn’t... i still don’t understand what the heck happened back there. she looked like she had ulterior motives! so yeah. thanks for listening to my rant. im sorry if you actually like pillow.

despite that, i enjoyed the episode very very much. i’m really excited to see what else tpot has in store!

Reacting To: The Hollow (Season 2 Episode 2)

Episode Title: Hollow Games

Key Highlights (Spoiler Warning): Kindly proceed if you’ve already seen the episode or simply don’t care about spoilers.

This episode was amazingly gay, wasn’t it? Let’s begin:

1. The episode picks up where things left off in episode 1. Our favorite trio are being cornered by their greatest childhood fears.

2. Mira decides to confront Adam’s fears for him and the rest of them follow her lead with Adam taking on Mabel, the giant chicken and Kai taking on creepy doll. The guys take on a physical approach but Mira tries to reason with the bullies. Unfortunately, none of their methods are working.

3. Amidst all of this, we find out that Mira has an older sister on top of her younger brother, Miles.

4. At one point, Adam is pinned down by Mabel with its foot and Kai sees that he’s in trouble and goes to rescue him.

5. Kai yells and tells Mabel that he’s not afraid of it and as it’s about to charge right at him, it disintegrates. I like how Kai is the one to save Adam this time around instead of the opposite because it’s usually Adam who saves him. Basically, they discover that facing their own fears is the way to go. Well, it’s pretty obvious, no? But it seems a little too easy for all of them to conquer their fears by just yelling at them. Oh well...

6. After the showdown, they head back to Kai’s big mansion to make sense of what’s happening to them. During their discussion, Kai seems to regret having had a crush on Mira because she’s Miles’s sister. What’s the deal with her brother, Miles? Oh right, we’ll find out later in the episode.

7. Hold up, hold up, hold up! Kai still thinks that Adam and Mira have a ‘thing’ for each other and he doesn’t want to get in between them. Is this going where I think it’s going?

8. OMFG!!! Stop everything! Drop everything. Kai said “I’m gay”. He said the word GAY. And he said it so casually! I didn’t expect this coming out to happen so early on in the season. I love it! Kai’s reaction was cute and totally chill. But poor Mira almost had forgotten that she actually kissed Adam. She apologizes to him and blames it on the memory block she had due to the game. Sure Mira :)

9. But seriously; It’s pretty clear Mira knew that he was gay all along and I’m sure if she had her memories with her at that time, she wouldn’t have kissed him. Oh and Adam is aware he’s attractive. Of course he is! How can anyone resist someone who is as tall, dark and handsome as he is.

10. I’m smiling so hard right now. But anyways, back to the situation at hand; They’re now talking about the glitch they saw when they were playing the game (back in season 1) and how the glitch was able to create such an accurate depiction of their lives. Adam thinks that they’re now on Level 2 of ‘The Hollow’ but Mira isn’t buying that theory. Master Kai still thinks it’s all a dream. Will he just stop?! LOL

11. They call for The Weird Guy’s help but nothing happened. Mira thinks they should look for him at The Hollow Games studio. But before they could all leave for the studio, they’re stopped by Davis, Kai’s butler. He insists that Miles should head to bed and that Mira and Adam leave the mansion.

12. If you look closely at his sleeves, the initials K P are on it. That means Kai’s last name starts with a P. I wonder what it is? Maybe it’s Parnall for Connor Parnall, the voice actor for Kai? I think it’s adorable how he says, “Silly Adam” before going to bed.

13. Mira drops Adam outside his home but she’s too wary of everything that’s happening around them and isn’t convinced that Adam should trust his parents and stay with them. I completely understand Mira. She really wants everything to be solved asap and she wants to go to the studio to see The Weird Guy tonight. But there are too many uncertainties and she has to consider what both Adam and Kai want as well. She also feels like she can’t trust Adam because she doesn’t know if he’s real or part of the game mechanics.

14. On the other hand, Adam thinks that they’re on Level 2 of the game and they just need to live like they usually do and wait for quests or challenges to appear before them. It’s sad to watch them argue. I guess that’s how being in a complex game/experiment-thingy does to your mind; You can’t help but to come up with any sort of scenario.

15. Okay, so we now know that Mira and Adam are actually childhood best friends prior to starting the game. They even carved their initials on a sidewalk.

16. Remember in my episode 1 review when I said Adam’s mom is creepy. This scene right here takes the entire cake for me. *Shudders

17. Adam is busy searching for clues in his room and finds a Moby Dick book but with completely blank pages. How strange. This world is really messed up. Mira is driving through town and sees Skeet speed-running on the streets. This should be interesting. Since last season, I’ve always thought of Skeet to potentially work with the main trio one day since he was so reluctant to fight them. We shall see what happens deeper into the season.

18. The next morning, Adam and Kai meet up outside the donut shop and Kai is freaking out because he says he hasn’t woken up from his dream. He tells him about a new theory he has to explain why everyone is acting so weird: an Alien Invasion. I honestly can believe any explanation at this point because everything is so messed up.

19. Mira didn’t show up and they become worried. They walk over to Mira’s house and ring the doorbell. It’s Miles! And he immediately recognizes Kai. Miles and Kai seem to be gaming buddies.

QUESTION: I’m now wondering about how long Kai has known Mira and Adam prior to ‘The Hollow’. I guess he could be childhood friends with them too?

20. Adam thinks that Mira probably went to the Hollow Games studio last night and they make their way over there. They are stopped by a security guard who doesn’t even know what building she’s guarding and isn’t aware of ‘The Hollow’. I guess this supports my theory that only current game players know what ‘The Hollow’ is.

21. Is it just me or does Adam always feels like he has to touch Kai in some way or form, every chance he gets? I’m not complaining though.

22. Darla is hilarious and I totally stan her. We need to see more from her and her ex, Steve. Apparently Reeve is or was friends with Adam and Mira in real life. From my understanding, all three of them were in a team (for The Hollow?) before something happened and they had to recruit Kai as his replacement. I love all the backstory we’re getting. This season is doing a good job with that. And this explains the picture of the 3 of them in Adam’s room last episode. It’s such a contrast because they were kinda direct enemies last season.

23. They sneak into the building to find Mira and they’re pretty sure she’s in there because her scooter is parked outside.

24. It looks like it’s ‘The Hollow’ champions wall. We see a picture of Gretchen Aguilar and her team but no sign of Adam, Mira and Kai on that wall. This further confirms their suspicion that they haven’t actually won the game yet.

25. They head to the stage room where the participants would wear their VR-looking googles and play ‘The Hollow’. Kai trips on a cable that he suspects is connected to a server room that powers the game. But Adam calls him from what it appears to be the control room as he is looking through files to gather more information.

26. After surviving a random and sudden earthquake, they come across the server room but they are swarmed by a bunch of laser-shooting bots. They barricade themselves inside the room, which has a broken wall that leads to a big portal. They suspect that Mira jumped through that very portal.

27. Adam isn’t sure if they should enter that portal but time is running out and they need to make a decision fast.

28. Any excuse to touch Kai huh? He is so smitten by him (I need to stop lol)

29. The episode ends with the two of them literally taking a leap of faith into the portal. Stay tuned for my reaction to episode 3, which will be out very soon. BTW y’all, I’m still not over Adam’s coming out scene to Kai! Cue me replaying that scene over and over again.

Blog Review: Carly is one of the friendliest, most approachable people on here and is so willing to help and support anyone. Whether it is a new writer/ creator or someone more established.

She is super talented, and her writing just gives you all the feels. Carly writes the fluffiest fluff and hottest smut. Her talent and creativity are mind blowing. She never fails to astound me away with her incredible ideas and a writing style that is so easy to read and enjoy.

I first became obsessed with Carly’s writing when I found Bucky’s Firsts, a collection of blurbs about Bucky experiencing a variety of things for the first time. Small, everyday things like his first blanket fort and lazy Sunday. These can be smutty at times but always guaranteed to make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Like for real, if you are ever feeling a little bit sad and want to read the equivalent to a big warm hug, then this blurbs is the thing to read. If for some reason, you are not obsessed with Bucky, then there are some based around Steve and also Ransom.

You can’t find more than just Bucky based treats on Carly’s blog. She also writes for Ransom; the man we all want to hate but just can’t because he is one hell of a sexy sweater daddy. There is one of the best dark Steve fics I have ever read in the form of ‘Little Lamb’, which btw still gives me goosebumps. Plus, some extremely hot Andy Barber fics amongst other literary treats.

Series Review: This series focuses on our reader currently writing to finish her dissertation and James, yes, James not Bucky. The whole world knows Bucky as Bucky but to our reader he is just her James, not a hero, not an ex-assassin, just a normal guy who meets a girl and falls in love. A man who is haunted by his past, nervous and shy. Carly forms these characters so well that you cannot help but root for them to succeed as a couple.

Cinnamon Sugar Donuts starts with the most adorable meet cute. Our reader visits a food truck for a caffeine fix and meets a mysterious man who had bought a bag of donuts. This meeting occurs on a regular basis and they form a reserved friendship, well reserved on James’s part. It all culminates in the first chapter with an exchange of numbers and an unexpected trip back to the readers apartment to patch up James, who has injured himself on a mission. James finally lets his guard down and steals his first kiss from the reader.

James is so reserved at times that the reader thinks that he doesn’t like her. But they are just so soft and sweet together. James wants to take things slow, but our reader has other ideas (and who can blame her). After a facetime mishap we are treated to their wonderful first date where we can see the two of them falling in love with each. Whenever I hear that Elvis song now, I can’t help but cry, imagining these two slow dancing together.

Of course, as with any relationships, there are ups and down. At one point you’re not sure if they are going to make it or not. Enter Steve, the unsung hero of the tale. After one fateful night where our reader reunites with James, we are treated to a glimpse of what their sweet relationship could be like. The final chapter is sheer perfection, the first time James finally allows himself that ultimate intimate moment he has held back for so long.

I do not say this lightly when I reveal that this is my favourite series. I am such a sucker for Bucky fluff, and this is just the ultimate. This story is one that I could read endlessly. The character of James is written in such a way that you cannot help but fall in love with him. He is so different to other portrayals of Bucky in many ways due to his apparent lack of self-confidence and shyness. This unique characterisation allows you to empathise with him and that is what makes him so brilliantly written. In fact, the whole story make you feel all the emotions of both of the characters, the ups, the downs. Everything. All of that must be attributed to its’ brilliant author, Carly.

Hi Cam! I am a long time Taylor fan (2006 myspace anyone?) & Gaylor, but have never been very invested in either ship or known much about Dianna or Karlie other then them being Tay's (ex?)lovers. But, I started binging the pod (A+ btw) and you make me want to be a Dianna stan! So, I am hoping you can give me some advice about where to start. I don't particularly want to watch glee, but pls convince me otherwise, if you think it's important! I am ready to fall in love with Dianna.

dianna is very stannable. she’s hilarious, inspired some of tay’s best music, passionate about her work, and famous for championing worthy causes and being kind to fans!

sure sometimes we question her fashion choices and her employment of the transatlantic accent but all the while we’re 100% simps! make sure to follow her and the blondeterage on Instagram that’s about the only place she interacts on social media these days.

as far as content goes...

dianna is most famous for glee but i hate to rec it but the dianna heavy episodes are decent i recommend the first half of season 1, the season 1 finale, the rocky horror glee show is not particularly good but it’s dianna’s favorite episode because she liked the costumes, blame it on the alcohol, born this way, original song, rumours, hold on to 16, on my way, nationals, goodbye, 100, thanksgiving, i do(a must-watch for a swiftgron it’s the inside source at glee tweet episode), homecoming, jagged little tapestry (gleeks get in the comments and let anon know what i missed)
