thinking maybe i was going somewhere when i wrote a note in my isidora fic speculating that maybe one of the reasons her foil relationship with claude works is bc of how interesting it is to look at them in terms of how the both of them are treated differently as these supposed ‘foreign’ entities within fodlan n how that could be analysed through a more meta political lens of the difference in perception when a racialised person is primarily seen as an invading threat vs when a racialised person is primarily seen as a source of extraction of resources/labour

quick supergirl thought but i believe english js like her. 4th language. obvs she speaks lurvan (argo, kandor etc.) kryptonian, but i think alura in-ze is from somewhere else bc her name is a completely different style to dru-zod, jor-el etc. and it would explain why kara is kara zor-el rather than kal being kal-el and not kal jor-el, bc they have different traditions, languages and cultures. so second language is alura in-ze's native tongue, personally i think it's urrikan based on continents appear to have consistent languages & act as countries. her third language is amazonian greek bc i like the wonder woman origin and they took her away before she really could've mastered english, so her first earth language would've been amazonian greek. and then she learnt english from the danvers

Pros of GF out on her own irl date thing:
I love her
She deserves nothing but good things and people in her life
At 13,000km away I cannot be there for her all the time, the fact there's people closer for her puts me at ease.
Her happiness is mine in the final analysis.
Cons:
I am so sooo nosy
how's it going?? are you having fun??? are you getting up to anything special? I love you.

Also knee still hurts, but I'm returning to work in less than a week because I cannot stay off for a year. Will likely fall there, which will hopefully bring my referral forward. I do think this is a case of when I will fall again and not if. Tbh I just hope it happens somewhere safe with not many people around so I can go to the hospital and my referral can hopefully get sped up

I'm wondering if Y/N should have a proper name in this AU... If only to give a stronger sense of character to them. They'll still be gender-neutral/non-binary, just with a name. Might just make them an OC...

Jon and Dany are clearly the song of ice and fire and George's intended endgame - he's even said the books are about them meeting. You must be dumb and blind to ignore what the author has LITERALLY SAID!

the short stories are actually really provocative and profound, heartrending and disturbing and thought-provoking and funny all at the same time and in such a short amount of space.
but i feel like when n*tflix touched them, they were the first victim of a withering away and soul sapping for me, in which i couldn't bear to be around the kinds of discussions and jokes and everything which were coming up at that time as fundamental misunderstandings of them so it just became very painful and very banal because they were all, in essence, forgotten.
however, that damage is not irreversable.
particularly in the case of a good adaptation, the musical, i have begun to remember all of why i love the short stories so much, just how good and painful to my heart they are, as well as thinking more deeply about some aspects which i had not previously considered or paid a lot of attention to (in lieu of other things which excited me more).
i think the biggest strength of a "good" adaptation and a "good" fandom is that they make you realize things you hadn't, interested in parts that weren't your 'favorite,' and generally expanding your mind and love of the source material. in contrast, a "bad" adaptation or "bad" fandom is that which makes you wish to forget and eventually end up forgetting your love and leaving it behind yourself. "good" is to remember, "bad" is to forget.

Bruh I just passingly read a little bit about the Eastern Agricultural Complex, which predated 3 sisters style agriculture, and had to lay down a little bit thinking about all the cuisines and flavors and foods there have been and will be.

💌 | Forget about sims, lets learn about YOU! Tell us one fact about yourself, and then send this to 5 other Simblrs to do the same
i started collecting manga at a very young age and often skimped my allowance on meal to buy them 🤓
