If you don’t wanna give up your daily meat consumption even a little bit but are willing to make a change chicken has the smallest impact on the environment of the most common meats at the supermarket and is also generally cheaper than other types of meat so like a bit better for your wallet and a bit better for the environment. I almost exclusively eat chicken and pork when I do eat meat because they have a lower impact than beef and they’re cheap and easy to find.
The unfortunate thing about vegetarian cooking is that it makes up most of my diet most days because it’s cheap and usually can be filling but if I live like that for long periods of time I never truly feel full and satisfied. That’s part of the reason I don’t think I’ll ever go full vegetarian. If I don’t eat meat once or twice a week I get this feeling that there’s something missing and a few days in I like lose the ability to feel satisfied. Then just like one meal with a bit of chicken or pork and I’m like yes I’m full and happy and satisfied again I’m happy to go back to vegetables and mushrooms for my next meal

It truly doesn’t take much meat to feel satisfied, I think. I still think a diet of mostly plants and dairy or eggs is great. Better for the environment, full of nutrients, incredibly tasty, all that jazz. But I also think that meat is gonna continue to be apart of a lot of peoples diets because it’s so filling and you know. We’re omnivores.
I have also found that when you eat less meat you have the option once in a while to buy more sustainably farmed stuff or some wild game because of the money you save. Like I can’t afford that every week but on the rare occasion I eat beef these days I can buy the grass fed local stuff because it’s not an everyday expense.

She already knows how to hunt with a rifle she’s just bad at starting conversations and thought you seemed like a chill person to hang with
Saying you dedicate your hunts to the Goddess Artemis started as a weird private joke to yourself. You never thought it would result in the actual goddess visiting you and asking to teach her how to hunt with a rifle.

“Said is a utility word,” he said.
“Though if it’s obvious who’s talking and you’re tired of using that word you can go without it for a line or two.”
“You should keep in mind though that this sort of format can get confusing if overused. You want to make sure your readers know for sure who’s talking.”
“It might also be a good idea from time to time to bring up the characters’ names again so your audience can keep track of what’s going on,” Roman added to the public conversation they were having with themself.
“On that note, lengthy descriptions added onto the said can be meaningful flavor and humor added to the scene but if used more than a few times it had better be a purposeful stylistic choice,” he said, knowing full well that he personally is occasionally guilty of overusing this type of thing and the classic he said she said format is a perfectly acceptable way to format a conversation.

Migraine nap threw off my sleep schedule so I’m awake during the unholy hour of 4-5am regressing back into old habits. Those habits being watching commentary videos on niche YouTube drama relating to channels and people I’ve never heard of in my life that somehow have like 10 million subscribers

Like honestly truly I’m fine. I’m okay. Also I’m not but I’m not saying those two things together to get attention it’s like actually true. Turns out doing great and doing bad aren’t mutually exclusive concepts.
And like don’t worry about me I’ve got people in my life I can talk to about the bad stuff I just want to let you know that if you’re also experiencing this in some capacity you’re not the only one.
Weird thing I’ve learned in the past few years is that you can be having one of the best years of your life and still be having a mental health crisis it’s so weird like I’m having an awesome time like truly honestly this is great but also this sucks I’m doing awful thanks for asking

Also apparently a mental health issue can somehow get better and worse at the exact same time. That’s also a new discovery. Not sure how I managed that one.

I’ve answered this a lot of times like a lot of times like a lot a lot of times like I’m tired of people asking this but this time I’ll try to elaborate on the hopes people will stop asking (they probably won’t)
I wasn’t thinking too hard when I wrote that so I think the way I worded it made a lot of people assume I’m referring to a chef or other food innovator type that’s responsible for literally everything about Indian cuisine.
No. The guy I’m referring to is Babur who was a conqueror who did what conquerors do and conquered a lot of India. He also very famously was a foodie. He loved food. Not Indian food though. He didn’t like Indian food if that time period. He and his court introduced Mughal food culture as well as some other influences to the subcontinent that most modern Indian food can at least be traced back to in some capacity. I’m not saying that it’s the only influence on Indian food, nor am I trying to belittle any innovations or unique dishes made by people on the subcontinent. I’m saying that modem Indian food wouldn’t have evolved in the direction it did without Mughal influence and he’s the one that introduced that sort of thing into the cultural ecosystem.
Well I would give a medieval peasant some spaghetti.

I’m not like mad at the existence of hard video games. I even like some of them. I’m just tired of this elitist dark souls player attitude about it.
Also plenty of intentionally hard games have modes for more casual players. Hades has god mode, cuphead has an easier difficulty for training yourself to get better at the game, Celeste has assist mode, etc.
And people acting like the existence of easy modes and easy video games are an affront to decency just gets on my nerves. I’ve got bad reflexes and the beginning stages of carpal tunnel I’m not a speedrunner but I still wanna play video games and idk why that’s so bad
Sometimes I’m watching a video game analysis video and I’m having a good time maybe I’ll check out more of this person’s content later and then they randomly start going on a rant about pissy games journalists who think that all games should have an easy mode and how stupid easy video games are and I have to click off
