u guys don't understand bc if krypton was influential or argo city survived or anything at all, then there was gonna be evidence of krypton of other planets or elsewhere in space. and do u know what might survive? political figures, like leaders of science councils, and powerful families. do u know what the els were?

so this is kinda an elaborate dc theory but whatever
part 1: (idk if this is true or not bc i haven't read the comic it was sourced from) but allegedly white martians experimented on primitive humans and ended up suppressing the metagene. this means that humans are not a superpowered race but rather some of them have superpowers. this implies that humans could've been like martians, tamaraneans and.. kryptonians, all of the race having a similar powerset rather than the occasional member having unique abilities. this implies that the general state for a race of beings is all having a power.
part 2: krypton is under a red sun, meaning that originally there would have been a yellow sun. this means at some point in history the kryptonians, similar to martians and tamaraneans, would've been a superpowered race. a source of evidence for this, imo, is the x-ray vision ; when the sun of krypton was yellow, it would've been further away, meaning they'd likely get less light. this explains two things; one, why it isn't a big deal (they wouldn't have been very powerful bc they wouldn't be absorbing the max amount of solar energy they could) and two, the practicality of x-ray vision on an evolutionary scale. what is interesting is what this would mean for kryptonite - krypton would've had to change composition, maybe under the red sun, for it to not have wiped out the previous kryptonians
part 3: in the world of krypton (2021), the Zees (kara zor-el's maternal family) are established historians, and kara shows an interest in this (sidenote, she actually learnt under carter hall/hawkman). they would've likely been documentation about
conclusion : kara likely knew about the theories about kryptonian powers under the yellow sun when she arrived on earth, especially if you follow some of her origins; there were some where argo city, once seperated from krypton, actually ended up in a yellow-star solar system, granting people powers until a religious fanatic moved them from the light, back to floating through space.
anyway, open to anyone who can confirm or deny these dc facts, it's just something i thought of going through a rabbit hole about dc species.

this does give her a crazy backstory bc i combine the comics i've read with my very strong beliefs... personally i like mixed kryptonian childhood , robin then amazonian training (from superman/batman apocalypse) & then the danvers backstory until she leaves to metropolis, then for a while she's a reporter to be like clark before she moves on to be a historian like she wanted to be on krypton (and kal gets her internships working on the krypton exhibits at museums instead of reporter ones)

bc i have done NO art i'm going to be writing an essay on why laura kinney (aka wolverine / aka talon) should not be portrayed as being pale as fuck!
this is laura kinney, who was born when scientist spliced of logan howlett/wolverine's dna with fellow scientist dr sarah kinney. now logan has never been known to be particularly dark-skinned but the same is not true of laura who doesn't seem to be canadian-american in all her appearances
first we have x-men evolution, her original appearance. in this we can see that her complexion obviously doesn't take after her father like it does in more recent comics. consider this is her og look i would use this as a basis of her appearances but comic writers typically don't
laura kinney would then go on to have a couple of titular comic runs & appearances that cemented a backstory for her, which portrayed her with black hair and a pale look. they also take a scientist from her x-men evolution backstory
sarah kinney was clearly an adaptation of deborah risman - despite the difference in look, they play the role of the scientist who raised laura before realising her humanity and helping her escape. obviously there's a clear difference. deborah (in the wiki) was debated over being polynesian or black, and it's easy to see - and you can absolutely see laura being biracial. sarah however is white, and her family look similar.
the next important appearance of laura kinney is in logan. in this movie she is played by dafne keen, who is spanish-british, but her version of laura is stated to be mexican. she is more accurate to her original appearance in this even if the actor is hispanic not latina like the character. imo this establishes laura as a half-latina character with a deep tan, with sarah kinney being a dark-skinned latina character herself and i believe that this is how the kinneys should be portrayed in comics. thank you.
