Wait so how do you know for sure the sprite is Ralsei? No hate, I do believe you haha, but I too am a lore scientist and I wanna know your evidence. Does it show up in-game? I could definitely believe that I saw it in-game and forgot about it :P

YES. Finding legitimate sprites directly from Toby Fox games can be surprisingly difficult. There are so many fan-made character sprites, that it can be hard to differentiate from the real ones!

Guess how many are NOT fan-made? .....only one 🗿

Official Websites like Spriters Resource (Ralsei's Offical Sprite Sheet) are very helpful in this regard :)

They may even include unused file graphics. Like this unused face of Ralsei.

Sprite legitimacy is a big rabbit hole that I personally don't have enough knowlege on :( ((BUT OH MY GOSH The internet is notorious for reposting fan-spriteworks without sourcing. It can be really hard to find the original artist.))

It's also HILARIOUS how many people have redone Ralsei's sprite. It is quite obvious from my Ralsei poll and through his mass of fan-redesigns, that many people in the Deltarune community REALLY LOVE his Chapter 1 sprite more.

Ralsei sprite fan-art is amazing and I personally want to mod it into my game bc it looks so good. Below I have some really cool fan-sprites I found and the artists who made them!

**this sprite sheet was submitted through Sprites Resource but I traced it back to TaxeisNotOkay, who I presume to be the original artist. I could not find any other information regarding the full sprite sheet, so feel free to correct or inform me if you find anything!

Looking back at Ralsei's Chapter 2 head sprites..... they just don't look as good as they could in my opinion. I dont like them :(...uhhh NO HATE OF COURSE!!..ahklasdkflansdf I'll go jump in this hole now.

#I want to reiterate I do not hate people who like Ralsei's Chapter 2 design. But I myself have MANY criticisms for it-#I have a lot of other criticisms for Deltarune in general!! And thats okay!!! I fr feel like I need to scream this out even though nobody will see it but that's the point!!

So. There's this Undertale au I'm brainrotting abt i call it Jaded AU and um um here's the basic. description thing I typed out:

"Jaded AU takes place in a slightly more run-down version of Ebott City post-undertale storyline, in which there are several districts, with the more rural towns district being closer to the mountain, and the main starting point.

However, once the monsters are freed from the underground, a lot of them are moved to apartment complexes constructed in the inner city, as they’re fairly cheap to put up in comparison to some of the nicer areas in the city.

It is here many of the monsters learn about the process of hardening, and even come into contact with some of the jaded souls of Ebbot.

The main conflict occurs in Frisk’s neighborhood, as they and the monsters adjust to life in a bustling - and hostile - place, and discover that while it can be good, maybe the surface isn’t as much of a paradise as originally thought."

SO much of it is unfinished but i want to mess around with the concept again it's so fun

Ya know the english language is generally fine and all but y'all just don't have decent words for some german essentials

For example I will never not hate the english word for Brötchen

I mean I know if I say either bread roll or bun people are gonna generally understand what I mean but neither of those words actually encompass the full range of german Brötchen

To me this is a bread roll:

And this is a bun:

But both of those words do not feel correct for any of these things:

Those are proper Brötchen and calling them bread roll or bun just feels so wrong

I love c!Wilbur but constantly being in my dash for the past couple of days keeps making me play Mommy Fwiend by Penelope Scott in my head over and over. So I'm taking a break from my dash

I'm not like most Wilburians or dsmp fans who've been here far longer. I don't have every piece of lore nailed down. But like, I kinda wish people would remember that he's an adult. A mentally ill one (/gen) but an adult nonetheless.

It couldn't be helped with my history of how I treat his character as a way to project back then. But in that same post I can't really go back to that mental space. At this point I'm already in the position of the third person who's constantly worrying about him.

As for c!Tommy, I guess me not maining crimeboys really sets things. My boy should just stay away from him after this. In fact he's one of the people I think about who should sing the song when it comes to his relationship with c!Wilbur. (Nothing weird obviously, considering the song's lyrics) Like, no kid should have gone through all that. A teenager should not have been given such burdens, feeling like they should be responsible over an adult's mental health.

But with having to see all this, it makes c!Wilbur exhausting to think about. Why? Because of how much I still care about him. And it's also because of how I keep reflecting my past on him.

Obviously, the story's not over yet. I want to see how the c!Niki lore's gonna end up. And somewhat related to this post, I'm hoping that c!Niki's a better character after the server's hiatus 'cause her making a scapegoat for her problems is such an issue especially if it's gonna be dealing with c!Wilbur.

I want her to recognize that. I want it that it'd come out unexpected like the c!Fundy lore. I want her to realize that, yeah, she has this problem and that she's doing it to c!Wilbur and it's not okay.

I don't expect her to bring up the nuking c!Tommy thing and apologizing for it, because I doubt that we'll get c!Tommy in the next stream. And you know what? I kinda want c!Tommy and c!Niki to deal with that on a separate stream together. (Idk *fingers crossed* I'm very patient unless it's c!Ranboo being dead)

Also, I guess it doesn't help that a lot of the pieces of media I consume and the fandoms I've participate in already have complete stories where I could judge the piece as a whole. Well, most of my fandoms at least. In the dream smp I still have to painfully wait for it to end and watch the fanbase constantly be on fire every time new lore drops.

So yeah, I'll just be away from my dash for a while.
