Chapter 2 - The First Rumor

The awards ceremony that both would attend was one of those celebrations in which the entire Korean press would be, its mission was one: not to miss a single detail of the night.

Naturally, Changkyun arrived with the rest of his members, they posed together, and after greeting several of their closest friends, they sat together.

For her part, even though Liv had entered with other renowned choreographers and even producers, the girl had become so close to her group that she went directly to greet them, and since Seventeen was not that far from Monsta X, I.M wasn't missing a single thing his girlfriend did.

"Changkyun" Shownu called when he noticed that the maknae was looking at Liv without any discretion. “You have ALL the cameras on you, control yourself.”

"I'm not doing anything, hyung."

"You haven't moved your gaze from Liv, anyone would notice."

Fortunately, Shownu did not have to say more, for a group of girls from their company was arriving and after greeting all the members, they talked a bit with them. Although there was no kind of romantic relationship between the members of Monsta X and Cosmic Girls, the fans had created rumors about practically everyone, particularly about I.M and another idol called Luda. However, until that night that had not been an issue for the rapper and his girlfriend, actually, they had barely talked about it since they both knew the truth; besides, Liv had also been the victim of gossips that didn't make sense, like all the ones she'd faced about her and Hoshi, even about her with other members of other groups she'd worked with.

During the afterparty, there weren't that many cameras, just a couple of authorized photographers so the guests could relax a little more. Even so, the entire industry was at that party and the rumors were precisely the most interesting thing of the night.

“Hey, but when did you finish that? I just brought it to you!” Hoshi said as he returned next to Liv. "Don't bother explaining, I got it." The dancer had looked in the same direction as Liv and understood what was going on the moment he saw Changkyun and Luda talking. “We can go to their table if that's what you want. You know… mark your territory.”

Olivia wasn't exactly a jealous woman, she more than anyone knew how much I.M loved her; however, Liv noticed how Luda had been looking for her boyfriend pretty much during the whole damn night, and it was something that was starting to annoy her. Liv tried to be as professional as possible, but she also had her limits, especially if someone tried to get into her relationship.

However, Hoshi's comment made the choreographer laugh. “Did you seriously just use that expression? You know I can't just show up there, there are too many people."

Just as Seventeen’s main dancer was trying to convince his friend to go put the other girl in her place, Wonwoo sat between the two.

"I want to leave." He commented sounding highly overwhelmed. "I just wanted to go to the bathroom, but I ended up running into people who I don't know who they are, but who said hello to me."

"Dude, what the fuck? You can't be that introverted your whole life." Hoshi reply.

"Leave him alone, he's not an attention seeker like you," despite Liv was intending to defend Wonwoo, she did not look at him, her eyes were fixed on her boyfriend. Not even when Hoshi demanded an apology did Liv pay attention.

“What's up, Liv? Is Hoshi already drunk and you're planning to change seats with someone else?” Wonwoo asked.

“I have nothing to do with this. Your friend and his fan girl are responsible.” He said pointing at I.M and Luda.

“Oh, come on! You can't be serious. They're nothing, I think there was no more than one date.”

"WHAT?" Liv asked loud enough for other members of Seventeen to look at her strangely. “Kyun told me that nothing happened!” Hearing that, Wonwoo covered his face with his hands, he had screwed up.

"Shit…"

"Wonwoo, explain yourself right now or Liv will make us all pay tomorrow with those practices where I can't even feel my legs," Hoshi begged.

“It was nothing, they just went to eat something. It was so insignificant that I don't remember when it happened." The rapper tried to explain while swallowing hard, the look of his choreographer was scary.

"See, Liv? That's why I tell you that you must go mark your territory!"

"And I told you I can't just show up!"

Feeling guilty for making everything worse, Wonwoo believed he could help. "Changkyun is my friend, everyone knows it, it won't be strange if we go say hello."

Liv thanked him because in a few moments she was already close to her boyfriend, who smiled tenderly at her. Totally different from how he had behaved towards Luda, I.M immediately pulled out a chair for Liv to sit in at the same time Wonwoo sat next to him.

"Well... just pretend I'm not there." Wonwoo said, but before turning around a bit, he tried to make his friend see his expression and understand that he had done something stupid.

"Hi, gorgeous." I.M greeted with his low voice. "You didn't tell me you would wear the dress that I gave you," he said practically in his girlfriend's ear.

"And you didn't tell you had dated Luda."

"What are you talking about, baby?" The rapper's question explained itself, as Wonwoo turned around to apologize and make I.M understand that it was his fault.

However, the couple knew they couldn't talk for long and the last thing they wanted was to argue, so they both tacitly agreed to stop the matter at least for the moment.

“How's everything so far? Those producers you were talking to are big fish."

“Now that you mention it, I was planning to tell you at home but... guess what." She teased with a mischievous smile. "Some of them were talking about your second album, they said they were expecting to get an invitation from you to work together.”

"Really?"

Probably on another occasion Changkyun would not have believed what his girlfriend said, he would have doubted his talent, but the time he spent working on himself, and the security that Liv transmitted to him, made him smile. Despite being proud of his work, he was still pretty shy, but Liv found it adorable to see his ears blush a little, it even managed to make her forget about the other girl.

"Of course! I told them that since I had already worked with you, I was sure that you would exceed their expectations."

Changkyun gawked at her, his gaze would tell anyone who saw them how much in love he was with Liv, but before losing his mind over her and taking her hand, someone interrupted them.

“Changkyun, let's go. Picture time.” Joon Hyung didn't just tell him that, he also waited beside I.M for him to stand up.

“Does it have to be now, hyung? They are photographing the girls.”

"You are next, let's go." He repeated.

I.M knew that the only thing the manager wanted was for him not to be sitting around talking to Liv. Joon Hyung was not entirely wrong, and Olivia knew it, she had already sensed several gazes on them. Therefore, she agreed with the man, and with a smile for her rapper, she got up first.

Fortunately, Kihyun was already walking toward the girl, which allowed I.M to go a bit calmer.

“Liv, Wonwoo, hi!” The singer greeted. "Are you already leaving?"

“We just came to say hello to Changkyun, but he had to leave because they had to take some shots of him,” Wonwoo explained.

"Pictures of him alone?" It wasn't normal for the managers to call a member apart, plus Monsta X had already been photographed together, hence, Kihyun looked for the maknae and found him posing with Luda. "I hope that photograph doesn't come to light, I'm done with rumors." Kihyun commented while Wonwoo looked at his choreographer out of the corner of his eye.

Despite being genuinely introverted, the Seventeen rapper tried hard to start a conversation that had nothing to do with I.M and his colleague. Fortunately for him, Jooheon approached with another member of Seventeen and the conversation was much more fluid.

Finally, in the apartment, Changkyun had been playing with his cat while Olivia finished removing her makeup. "You looked stunning tonight." He commented taking the cat down so he could hug Liv in such a way that he rested his chin on her shoulder. "I like you better this way though." He said causing the girl to laugh a little. “Baby, about Luda, that was nothing. We are from the same company, I have known her for some time, and we have bumped into each other in the cafeteria.”

"Did you go on a date with her?"

“It was only once, and absolutely nothing happened. I would not even call it a date. I was not interested in dating, Liv, I was waiting for you. I know that we weren't together, but I trusted you would come back."

Olivia remembered Kihyun's words when she and Changkyun were just starting to date and her brother had warned her about what kind of person the youngest of the group was. Changkyun's nature was to give his soul and heart to the people he loved, and all the time together proved that to Liv. Without doubting her boyfriend, she closed to the rapper and, taking his hands, kissed them.

Running his thumb delicately over Olivia's lower lip, I.M smirked. “Were you seriously jealous? YOU jealous?

"No... I just don't like you to hide things from me and you hadn't told me that."

"Liv, you're terrible at lying! You're even worse than me," he said laughing.

“Yeah, right... You still get sensible when you see me talking to Hoshi. Now that I think about it, you get upset with all the dancers I work with!”

"Where do you get those ideas?"

"Last time I told you I was going to eat with Astro's members you made such a scene that I had to call Jooheon to calm you down."

"Bullshit..." He said lying down and stretching his arms in such a way that his shirt allowed Liv to admire his abs. "I could never be mad at you for hanging out with them, Jinjin is one of my best friends."

"Oh, the irony! Jinjin himself told me that you are ridiculously annoying and that you asked him not to let Moonbin get any closer than necessary." She responded by bringing her hand to her boyfriend's firm stomach. A light touch from Liv was enough for I.M to close his eyes and sigh.

“He was lying”

"Kyun, admit it, you're more jealous than me."

"Nope…"

“Okay, then I'm glad to hear that because today I got a juicy offer. I was offered to take over the choreography for Moonbin's solo debut. They also want me to appear with him in the video.”

"WHAT?"

The speed with which I.M opened his eyes and sat back up provoked Liv to cover her lips to keep from laughing. Being calm was I.M's thing, staying calm and not exaggerating any emotion was a typical characteristic of the rapper, so seeing him react like that was truly comical.

However, more important than his jealousy was his concern for Liv's health. "Why more work, Olivia? You’re already in charge of Seventeen, you also have that new group, and from time to time you work with Astro. I don't want to see you with a burn-out."

"Kyun, you know that I don't work alone, I have amazing dancers creating the choreographies with me."

"And what about your knee? Baby, you need that surgery."

It took Olivia a long time to convince Changkyun that her knee was fine and that the doctor had told her that she could still wait a little longer before surgery, for now, the therapies were enough. However, once she assured him that she could handle the workload, the jealousy returned.

"You could just do the choreography, why does he want you in the video?"

"It was not only a request of Moonbin." She clarified. "His company thought it would be a good idea, that way I wouldn't have to train anyone because I would know all the moves."

"Well, obviously it's a good idea, you're perfect." He mumbled crossing his arms.

When it came to spoiled boyfriends, Changkyun was the king of them. He was used to receiving all of Olivia's attention, so having to share it was something he hated. Even so, they had never argued about it, the rapper's claims used to be more tender than serious, and that was precisely what happened that night. Trying not to make the problem bigger, Changkyun mumbled, or rather, complained to his cat as he played with him and ignored what Liv was trying to tell him.

I.M agreed to pay attention to her until Olivia sat in front of him and cupped his face. "I haven't signed anything yet, they just offered it to me today at dinner. It could be a good opportunity, but if you don't..."

“You know what would be a better opportunity? That you appear with me in my next video.”

"Kyun, I'd love to, and you know I'd do it without thinking if it didn't mean a problem for your career."

“It wouldn't be so weird, Liv. You are a great choreographer, just as Moonbin wants you for his video, another singer could ask you for the same thing, and that could be me.”

“Do you really think we can hide what we feel for each other? Because I don't think so." She said playing with the rapper's dark hair.

"Maybe if they let me make love to you in the video, we wouldn't have a problem." He joked leaning close to Liv's neck and slowly spreading kisses. "Do it, take the opportunity. You're too good for people not to see you. BUT if he gets any closer than necessary, I'll kill him, Olivia." He warned before losing himself in the body of the choreographer.

The next day while Changkyun slept, Liv got up, took a bath and when she was ready to go out, she came over to kiss her boyfriend's forehead, who was turning around looking for her and making unintelligible sounds. However, Olivia had already learned to decipher what I.M said in those moments in which it was impossible to know if he was asleep or not.

“Baby, don't you remember? I told you I'd have breakfast with Jules. When I get back, we'll go to my parents' house."

“Tell her hi,” he said hugging the pillow Liv used. "Don't come back late, I've missed you so much."

With a smile on her face, the girl left the apartment. Being so early, she managed to get quickly to where her friend was waiting for her. Jules had already ordered coffee for both of them, and knowing Liv so well, she had also ordered breakfast.

"Oh! I've never met someone more efficient. Ki doesn't know what I like to eat and Kyun spends hours looking at the menu, even if we go to the same places and order the same thing, I swear he always does it."

"I figured you wouldn't have much time, you told me you're leaving town today."

"Yes, I'm desperate to do it."

Just as Julianne was about to reply to her friend, she was checking something on her cell phone, in fact, she was about to block it when she saw a picture that had just been uploaded. Her first instinct was to read the news, but if there was anyone who would be interested, it was Liv, since it was about her boyfriend.

"Liv, did you see the picture they took of Changkyun from yesterday?"

"What are you talking about?"

Jules handed over her cell phone and Liv even felt her stomach churn with anger at seeing I.M with Luda, and it wasn't just that, but also the title of the news, which hinted that they were both dating.

“Yesterday we talked about this…” Liv said with a sigh. “Apparently they went out once, he says nothing happened between them and I believe him, but she won't leave him alone. Jules, she chased him all night.”

“If she's bothering you, I can handle it. I can totally take care of this, in fact, I promise I'll scare her so much that she'll never come near her again."

Olivia laughed because she knew that her friend was capable of doing it, since the first time Jooheon introduced Jules to Liv, the dancer knew how brave she was.

“It's not that simple, and it's not just about her. I.M wants to make our relationship public.”

"And you don't want the same?"

“Of course I do! But I’m worried about what this might bring to his image. Can you imagine how people would react if they find out about you and Jooheon?”

“But we're not engaged, Liv, you are. You should be able to plan your wedding in peace and enjoy all of that properly.”

“I know it, and believe me, I want to do it too, but I’d like us to first think about how to do everything. The managers don’t like me very much, and I don't blame them, it hasn't been easy to deal with all this.”

"Fuck them! It's your relationship, not theirs."

Liv's jaw dropped at hearing her friend speak that way. Julianne used to be so polite and discreet that it wasn't common to hear her say things like that, but the girl was right, Monsta X managers didn't have to own that much control over the members and their private lives.

After a while, Liv also told her friend about the video with Moonbin and her boyfriend's reaction.

"Well, then there are several things to control, first that bitch, second your boyfriend's jealousy, third, Moonbin's dirty hands in that video, and fourth the noses that managers want to stick in everything."

"Jules, what's up with you today?" Liv asked laughing a lot and deciding that the best thing would be to change the matter or her friend would go to fight with the first person she found on the street. “Let’s talk about museums, paintings, and those things you like.”

A few days after returning from Olivia's parents' house, Monsta X had a photo shoot. Liv had rushed in to watch the session, with all due caution, of course. The choreographer had stayed behind with Hyungwon, Jooheon, and Kihyun while the photographers worked with the maknae.

"Look at him, anyone who sees those pictures would think he's a badass." Jooheon joked.

"Badass, yeah right! We're talking about the same kid who was crying all over the place because Liv left him."

"Ki, don't be rude!" The girl said hitting him in the arm. “But you're right about something, Kyun is not like that. Do you want to see something funny?”

Kihyun, Jooheon, and Hyungwon saw Liv's mischievous look and nodded right there.

Being very careful not to be seen, Olivia took off the mask she was wearing, and moving a little from where she was, she placed herself in a spot where I.M. could see her. Once she had her boyfriend's attention, the girl winked at him and blew him a kiss. That was enough for Changkyun to turn so red that they had to fix his makeup countless times. In addition, when it was his turn to pose with the decoration that was next to him, he threw everything else on more than one occasion.

While that was happening, Jooheon, Kihyun, and Hyungwon laughed with Liv. For the guys, Changkyun would always be the baby of the group, and for Olivia, there was no one more adorable than him.

“Oh, look at him! He's finally smiling!" Hyungwon commented. “Since his photo with Luda came out, he has been more serious than usual.”

“Yes, dealing with Joon Hyung and Deok Joon has been somewhat chaotic,” Jooheon said as Kihyun nodded.

"I asked him to ignore that."

"Well, he didn't listen to you, little sister, he ordered that they clarify all those rumors immediately."

"I.M’s right, he has nothing to do with that girl, he is engaged to Liv, he doesn't have to put up with being related to someone else."

"Hyungwon, you know how this industry works, the rumors never stop even if the companies speak out," Jooheon said.

"Well, they could do better, I.M had every right to demand that clarification, now everyone's talking about it." Seeing Liv's face, Hyungwon placed his hand on her shoulder and smiled at her. “You don't have to feel bad, none of this is your fault and I want you to know that we all support your boyfriend. Shownu himself asked Deok Joon to help, after all, he's the most approachable. But he didn't get anything, he said to ignore this gossip and it will pass soon."

"It surprises me that this photograph was leaked, the guy who took it didn't sell it to anyone, there's evidence of that." Jooheon said.

“Do you think it was Luda? Her popularity went up quite a bit after that.” Kihyun mentioned.

"Changkyun should investigate more, what's more, not even him, Starship should take care of this and not allow the rumors to continue," Hyungwon said starting to get annoyed.

"After what happened with Wonho, are you still optimistic?" Kihyun asked ending the conversation because I.M was already walking towards them and his ears were still so red that it made everyone laugh.

“That wasn't funny, Liv! I was lousy in all the photographs.”

"You looked more handsome than ever!" Liv was controlling herself not to hug him, for the couple had the eyes of Joon Hyung and Deok Joon fixed on them.

“When you are recording your video, I swear I'll come and do the same to you.”

"It won't work, I don't embarrass myself so easily." She said winking at the same time that Changkyun imitated her and Kihyun looked at them feeling ashamed.

“How old are you two, fifteen? Behave.” Said the singer separating them.

The creation of the choreography for Moonbin as well as the video shooting happened extremely quickly. Since Liv had worked with the idol before and knew how good dancer he was, it didn't take long for her to teach him the moves. As for the video recordings, I.M accompanied her but stayed on the sidelines with Jinjin, who continuously told him to relax and stop being so jealous. The video was very sexy and in several shots the closeness between Liv and Moonbin was more than Changkyun could tolerate. However, he controlled himself because I.M knew that it was a unique opportunity for Liv, and it really was, as soon as the video came out, many people were talking not only about the idol but also about her.

The collaboration had been so successful that Kihyun insisted on celebrating his sister and thus organized a dinner. However, there was a moment in which I.M just disappeared. It had been a long time since Liv had been alone with the boys and Jules, but her boyfriend was nowhere to be seen.

After apologizing to Minhyuk, since he was the one she was talking to at the time, the girl left the apartment, thinking that maybe I.M was in the garden, but there she only found Wonho and Shownu.

“Liv! What are you doing here? You are the star of the night.” Wonho said hugging her affectionately. “We were about to enter again.”

"I was looking for Kyun, have you seen him?"

"The last time I saw him, he told me he was going to get something out of the car." Shownu replied.

Even though the car was tinted, Olivia only had to get a little closer to discover that her boyfriend was arguing with someone. She heard almost nothing because the windows and doors were closed, but from the look on his face and the way he moved his hands, it was clear how furious he was.

It wasn't until Liv knocked on the door that Changkyun noticed her presence and seeing her there, he ended the call and tried to calm down before getting out of the car.

"Baby, what's up?" She asked hugging him as soon as he was close. The tension that the rapper had could be felt just by brushing his shoulders. "Did you argue with Deok Joon again?"

“Let's not talk about this, it's your night, we're celebrating." He kissed her forehead, but before he could leave, Liv took his hand, and just looking at him made him apologize. It wasn't that easy for Changkyun to forget about his bad communication habits, so sometimes he needed a little more help. “I want to clear up this whole Luda thing, I don't want any more rumors. And if my managers don't do it, then I will."

"It's just a photograph."

"Baby, you were the first to clarify that there was absolutely nothing between you and Hoshi when the rumors started a long time ago, you understand how I feel, so why don't you let me...?"

“It's not about giving you authorization, Kyun, I just want you to think things through. But if you want to do it, I'll support you.”

I.M was silent for a moment, but then he looked at his girl and put his arms around her. Taking advantage of the closeness, he spoke into her ear. “I'm not going to do it just because it could affect you. I don't want them to talk about you, or persecute you."

“I can take it.”

“I know, but I don't want you to do that, at least not yet. Let's talk about this later, it's your night."

The couple was entering the room when they found a scene they had NEVER seen before. Everyone, absolutely all his friends were silent and too serious, all looking at a cell phone.

"What's going on?" Changkyun asked.

“Better sit down…” Jooheon said.

you were working as a part-time barista at a small cafe near your uni

because you were always broke as hell and the financial aid was not enough

also you did not want to burden your parents to cover your monthly expenses

studying + working + extra curricular activities took up a lot of your time that you never even had a crush on a guy eVER

like sure that one guy in programming is fine but you knew you were wayyyy out of his leaugue

your friends set up different blind dates to widen your dating experience but they never work out

like that one guy is okay but he never pay for any your meals and is conSTA NT Ly brOke and always trying to get on your nerves

the other guy was sO full of himself and that just disgusts you and never saw him ever again

but one day you sat there behind the counter and then you heard the bell rang and your head instantly moved to look at the door

and goddamn

what a hot guy

so you grabbed your bag and nervously walked down the street to find him leaning over the lamp post while watching you walked over to him

and he flashed that smile and he’s just like i should introduce myself properly so he cleared his throat and lend out his hand for a handshake and goes “i’m shownu and i’m an actuarial science major”

hOL UP i thought you were into some PE shit or something but instead you took his hand into a handshake and just said “i’m y/n and i’m studying software engineering”

and you guys walked around the city playing 20 questions (but it was more than 20) to get to know each other and good lord you learned a lot about him

said his hobby is dancing and he was in a dance crew and entered a lot of underground dance battles and he wasn’t into sport that much just he likes to work out to be fit

and he looked at you with full awe and adoration

whenever you guys walked side to side your hand brushed with his and gave you a tingling sensation

the temptation to intertwine your hand with his is real

when it was almost 12AM he brought you to a diner where you guys shared a vanilla milkshake because you insisted that it was violating your diet but he’s just like you know you beautiful whatever size you are

and it was almost 1AM that both of you were back at the dorm where he showed you where to sneak into the uni compound without getting caught

so the months passed by and you guys went on a lot of d a t e s but one day he was waiting you at the iconic lamp post and he said “i’m going to do something and only react if you feel the same”

anyway every saturday night is the “new restaurant tryout” and most of the new restaurants you guys went to were good and shownu being shownu would 11/10 come back

and you would come over to the dorm and binge on pretty little liars which shownu never watched

and you ACCIDENTALLY spoil the plot for the next episode and he was like pouting

sometimes you two got very busy with uni that you guys almost didn’t meet for one whole week and he missed you

so he came over to your dorm and cuddle in bed while catching up with each other while giving you back rubs

when the finals were coming up you two would hang around in the library to have a revising session and five minutes in he already put his head on the table

and you keep encouraging him like WE CAN DO THIS

and he’s like yes YOU can do this

and you’re like NO WE CAN DO THIS

and he’s just like……………..ok……………………………….and he let out the loudest WE CAN DO THIS and the everybody were looking at you two and the old library lady literally gave you the first and last warning

you two would just go on lunch dates and he got his phone out and facetimed his mum just to show how beautiful his girlfriend is

you love subway rides with shownu because you would share the earphones and let him pick the music and the music always suit the vibes

sometimes you would follow him up to his dance practices you definitely swerve when the beads of sweats would cover up his whole body and how his dance moves were really sharp and smooth and.......hot

that one time he came over to your dorm and once he hugged you he could feel,,,,,the wet vibes.,,,, like sHOWNU IS CrYING WELP

and you just hold him tight and and caressed his body and kissed his forehead and he got all soothed up

you rarely fight with him but whenever yall fight he’ll be so frustrated and couldn’t even leave you alone

when you said “leave me alone” he was thinking hard if it was a sign for him to leave or to just hold you tight

but he’ll be the one to apologise first and you....would always feel sorry about that.....because sometimes....you know....it wasn’t his fault....but your ego

he’ll be the first one to say i love you and his face got all red and he started beating himself up when you didn’t say it back and you found it cute and beautiful and you just love him so fucking much

he likes to play with your hair a lot so you taught him how to braid and do fishtail braid

and sometimes you would find random tiny cute lil braid on your hair and it’s just too cute

it would be so fun to cook for him because he eats everything, anything

one time he said he craved homemade pancake so bad

so you decided to make one for him for breakfast but you definitely forgot you put it on the stove

so one side of the pancake is burned

but he still eats it and gives you forehead kisses for cooking for him

“Bye, guys! Let us know when you get home safely!” You yelled as your fiancé’s friends left your apartment. All of you had been celebrating his birthday and now they were leaving after a long night. It was almost one am and surprisingly you weren’t tired, just excited to get alone time with your man. You smiled to yourself as the door closed for the final time, locking it and walking towards the living room. Your smile only grew as you saw Hyunwoo spread out on the couch and his eyes drooping. “Babe?”

“Hmm?” He opened his eyes, smiling lazily at you. Your chest warmed at the sight, happy to see him happy. His eyes glistened as you made yourself comfortable on his lap, his hands automatically wrapping around you. You pushed some hair away from his face and hummed.

“Happy birthday, babe! I hope you liked your party!”

“Mmhm. Of course! I’m grateful for you.” He spoke quietly. You squeezed your arms around his neck and leaned down to give him a quick kiss. You tried to pull away, but he wouldn’t allow that as he deepened the kiss. His hands drifted past your hips and landed on your ass, pulling you closer to him. You moaned at the action, but pulled away softly. He chased your lips, making you laugh as his own landed on your neck.

“Wait, babe! I wanna show you something!” He immediately stopped, sitting back to look you in the eyes. You smirked as you grabbed at the end of your dress, pulling it up and over your body, throwing it somewhere in the room. He swallowed thickly, his eyes wide in surprise. You felt his hands tighten around your thighs, wiggling your butt to get a response besides staring.

“You got a new outfit?”

“Outfit?” You chuckled. “Mmm. If you want to call it that!” His eyes broke from yours, trailing your body and making you burn all over. “Babe, touch me!” You whispered breathlessly. He sucked in a breath as his hands slid up your body, strong hands gripping at your chest softly. Closing your eyes, you relished in his firm touch, pushing yourself closer to him. “Please!” You almost whimpered. His lips were instantly pressing wet kisses to your jaw, your mouth letting a content sigh out into the open. Reaching down to his slacks, you quickly began unzipping them and trying to push them down his thighs. Quietly he took your hands away and pushed the pants down his legs and to the floor as you stood on your knees as you straddled him. Immediately your hands were grabbing at him, a hand rubbing him through his underwear. He let a moan out, head falling back onto the plush couch. Soon you were pulling his boxers down and revealing him to you. He barely opened his eyes at the action, another deep groan escaping him.

“Tell me what you want, babe. It’s your birthday!” You spoke warmly into his ear. He opened his eyes now, smiling up at you.

“Nothing but you!” He murmured, grabbing at your face and pulling you to kiss into your mouth. You moaned at his touch, pushing yourself to your knees and lining yourself up with him. You pumped him a few more times, his tongue pushing into your mouth as you did. Closing your eyes you pushed down, allowing him to fill you up in all the best ways. A breathy moan left your mouth, your fiancé pushing his hips up at the feeling. You grunted at that, eyes opening to see a satisfied grin plastered to his face. You ran your hands across his shoulders and down his chest, stopping at his lower stomach. His abs tensed at your touch, his hands cupping your ass and pulling you up.

“No! I wanna ride you. No help today!” He gulped and nodded, allowing his hands to slide up and rest at your lower back.

“Fuck, babe!” You moaned out as you sunk back onto him. You watched as he watched you, his large hands warm on your back. His eyes drooped, watching you as you slowly picked up the pace. Slowly his hands reached up to pinch at your nipples, making you moan loudly.

“You like that, baby?” You nodded as you pushed yourself down again, Hyunwoo grunting at the pressure. Suddenly you were being held close to his chest as he flipped you onto your back. He held your left leg out, fingers gripping your thigh to keep your legs spread as his other hand pushed down on your stomach. You yelped at the new position and pressure as he hit that special spot beautifully. His lips leave a fiery trail across your chest, soft mewls pushing past your lips. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you pulled his body closer to yours. His sweat slicked skin slid against your own, his chest pushing against yours as he pushed into you. Your toes curled and your eyes closed in pleasure.

“I’m so close!” You gasped out.

“Damn, me too!”

“Come inside me, Hyunwoo!” He pulled back to give you a serious look and you only nodded in approval. He desperately grabbed at your hips, pulling you into him faster and stronger with each thrust.

“Oh! Yes! Please, like that!” You whined.

“Yea? You like me fucking you like this?” You couldn’t even respond to his answer since he rarely spoke like that. You just grunted, feeling your high build quickly. His thick fingers were quick to rub at your clit, your body jerking sensitively.

“I’m gunna come, babe!” You barely spoke before you were convulsing under him, nails digging into his back. He groaned at that, his hips stuttering as he fucked into you one last time. You smiled up at him as you felt his warmth seep into you. “Fuck it into me!” Hyunwoo choked on his spit, but did as you asked. You felt adventurous tonight!

After a few minutes of relaxing, he began to pull out, causing you to whine in over sensitivity. “As much as I love sleeping like that, we need to clean up and get off this couch, baby.” He spoke as he got up.

You nodded in understanding. “I know. I’m just so tired now! But! I hope you had an amazing birthday!”

He smiled down at you fondly. “If I’m with you then I’m automatically having an amazing day!”

You rolled your eyes as he helped you onto your feet. Stepping in front of him, you smiled up at him and wrapped your arms around his neck. He gave you a perplexed look. “Wanna have some fun in the shower?”

“You bet!” He smirked, slapping your ass and running off towards the bedroom.

Summary: Already engaged and planning to get married soon, I.M and Liv will enter to another stage of their lives, one in which they must decide how to handle their relationship in such a public and controversial industry. Will all the warnings Kihyun gave them turn out to be true? How will the companies, managers, and fans receive the news about the relationship between the rapper and the dancer? Liv and Kyun undoubtedly learned how to deal with the problems between the two of them, but are they ready to cope with what comes after their engagement?

Chapter 1 - Just for a while

After six months after their engagement, Changkyun and Olivia were in their best moment; however, they hadn't been able to sit down and plan their wedding yet because of their jobs. Despite all their years working in the industry, they had never had so much to do. If it weren't for the fact that they lived together, they would practically only see each other at night.

Still, each moment they shared, they treasured with their soul. Those who knew them intimately learned that when I.M and Liv were together, nothing else existed, no human power made them even look at their cell phone, and it was understandable, after being separated for two years, both had learned to value every second.

That day, Changkyun would return from a tour in Japan. They hadn't seen each other for several weeks and they were both starting to become desperate. Liv had found a way to visit him, even if it was only briefly, when I.M had to leave the country, but that last time had been impossible because it coincided with a tour from Liv's group. Actually, the girl also arrived at their home the same day, but earlier.

While Liv was waiting for her boyfriend, Changkyun was at the airport.

"Why don't we move, what's up?" The rapper asked sullenly seeing that their bags had already been given to them, but none of the members were walking.

"It's the Monbebe, it seems that they have prepared something for us," Hyungwon responded by standing on tiptoe and being so tall, he got to see what was happening. “There are a lot of people.”

"Wasn't anyone supposed to know we were on this flight?" The maknae asked.

"You know they always find out everything."

Their conversation was interrupted when both of them noticed some paparazzi getting closer.

Confident that nobody suspected about their flight, I.M was walking with his carry-on bag and a gorgeous bouquet of camellias for Liv. When he saw his girlfriend's favorite flowers at the airport, he didn't think twice and bought them for her; nonetheless, now there was not only a stampede of fans who did not know that he was in a relationship, but also the cameramen would get crazy seeing him with the present.

"Changkyun, the flowers." Shownu said turning around as fast as he could to try to cover at least a little while their managers took over the situation.

Everything had to be done quickly or the rumors would spread like wildfire. The managers had no bad intentions, not really, but they had to vanish the bouquet immediately, so taking it without any delicacy, they threw it to one of the bodyguards, who took it and disappeared in seconds.

"Wait, wait!" The rapper tried to say when he saw that they had ruined the flowers; however, one of his manager's gaze and Shownu's hand on his shoulder forced him to turn around and smile at the cameras, or at least show a half-smile-like grimace.

Changkyun could be very patient and calm, but if there was one thing he had learned, it was never to let anyone run over him again, much less try to impose something on his relationship. Hence, he didn't bother to smile or say hello, he did just what was necessary.

The maknae had already faced a few arguments with his managers precisely because of his relationship, which was not something so simple to handle, at least not considering that I.M was not the only public figure, it was undeniable that Liv had already made a name for herself in the industry.

Park Joon Hyung and Seo Deok Joon had been working as representatives of Monsta X for several years, both of them had a close relationship with the members, but they asked for honesty in return. When they discovered that Changkyun was seeing someone, they didn’t get involved at first, but now they were beginning to regret it. Joon Hyung and Deok Joon assumed that things would not last that long between the couple, hence they agreed to support the rapper. They helped him hide his relationship from the company during the time Liv and he were dating, the men kept thinking that sooner or later they would break up. In fact, when that happened, they both breathed a little easier, hiding Changkyun's relationship was becoming a tremendous challenge for the managers.

Once they found out that Liv had returned to the United States, they thought that things would definitely end between her and I.M; however, later came Changkyun's depression, which neither of them could deal with properly. What saved them at that time was that Changkyun's melancholic and serious attitude was not something totally new, so, apart from the members and the two managers, no one knew that something was happening with him.

Yet, Liv's return to Korea brought back the headaches for Joon Hyung and Deok Joon, even more so when they found out that the couple had gotten engaged without telling them first.

Flashback

From the moment I.M asked to meet his managers and decided to drop the news of his engagement with Liv like it was nothing, everything got chaotic.

"Are you seriously telling us that you're getting married?" Deok Joon asked, widening his eyes. "Don't joke about it, Changkyun."

"I'm not kidding, I got engaged to Liv a week ago."

Joon Hyung crossed his arms and thoughtfully looked at the rapper, waiting for him to elaborate. "And what are you supposed to do, what is your plan, tell it to the world during a world tour?"

“Joon Hyung, could you also stop fooling around? This topic gives me anxiety. I.M, are you sure about what you're doing? You're too young, you still have your military service pending, you're just working on your second solo album, and you have a lot of work to do with Monsta X. I don't think it's a good idea for you to get engaged, I mean, what's the point if you're going to end up getting married in ten years?” Deok Joon asked.

“Getting married in ten years? That's not the idea, hyung."

“This shouldn't even be a topic of conversation. You can hide a relationship, but not a marriage, at least not from the company.” Joon Hyung said covering his face and thinking about the kind of madness that news could unleash.

"I don't want to hide my wedding, nor my relationship, I'm tired of living like this."

“Okay, we’re definitely NOT going to have this conversation. The only thing I'm going to ask you is to think with a cool head and not selfishly." Joon Hyung said getting up.

After that conversation, the relationship with his managers grew apart, which was why, back at the airport, I.M spoke with such earnest when he saw what they had done with his flowers.

"Next time don't throw them away, please." It was the only thing the idol said to Deok Joon before getting into the car.

Changkyun was supposed to get home around ten o'clock at night, but the flight was delayed, and ended up arriving at almost one o'clock in the morning. He had tried to talk to Liv, but when he entered the house, he understood why she hadn't answered him back.

Putting his luggage aside, he kneed down in front of the living room couch. I.M was lost looking at the face of his girlfriend while she slept, but suddenly, his gaze fixed on Liv's hand. It still seemed incredible to him to see the ring on her finger after all they went through.

Changkyun caressed the girl's face so gently that it didn't wake her up, he was about to lie there with her when he heard a noise in the kitchen.

"What are you doing there, buddy?" he asked in a whisper as he picked up the cat Liv had given him.

That could easily have been one of I.M’s best days, it was love at first sight. He had promised Olivia they would have a dog, but Liv went ahead and gave him the cat he had always wanted.

Now, the pet was the king of the house, he slept where he wanted and played with whatever he wanted. Changkyun had him so spoiled that Liv laughed when she walked into the room where her boyfriend worked and saw the cat resting comfortably on the computer keyboard while I.M. talked to him like he was a human, explaining why he needed him to move, but the rapper never dared to move him.

Changkyun looked as the cat approached from the kitchen, that was when he realized that Liv had set everything to have dinner together before falling asleep.

"Kyun?" Liv asked surprising him. Changkyun did not notice the moment she woke up, for he was focused on the dinner and his pet. "You're here," she said with a lovely smile and opening her arms for him to come closer. "I missed you so much. Why did you take so long?"

“I'm sorry, baby, the flight was delayed, and something happened at the airport, but I'm already here and I promise you that this week I won't move from your side."

"I couldn't ask for nothing better." Liv got a little bit closer and moved the tip of her nose with his before saying the words Changkyun could never get tired of hearing. "I love you Kyun."

The girl sighed looking at how I.M's cheeks and ears evidenced how he felt. Since the first time Liv said that to him, the choreographer knew she had to give him a few moments to react.

"No matter how many times you say it, you'll always make my heart beats faster when I hear it." He confessed taking a lock of the girl's hair and brushing it behind her ear. “Do you know what else I'll never get tired of? Opening that door and find you here waiting for me.”

I.M took care of disappearing those few centimeters that separated them and kissed her as he had wanted to do for several weeks. The idol held absolutely nothing with that kiss, he took his time to show Liv how much he had missed her, how much he loved her, and how much he desired her. It was one of those kisses through which only Liv and Changkyun could express so much feeling.

"I love you too, Liv." He finally answered when he stopped the kiss, which surprised the girl, for she knew that once they both started kissing, they didn't stop. "Don't give me that look. You prepared a delicious dinner, we are not going to waste it." Offering her his hand, I.M helped her to get up so they go eat together.

While having dinner, I.M shared with Liv everything that had happened during the concerts and, as always, they both laughed at everything that involved the members, especially Hyungwon, who without even intending to, came out terribly bad in each of the photos they had taken in the hotel.

"What about the tour in Amsterdam with Seventeen?" I.M asked.

While he was in Japan with his members, Liv was in the Netherlands with her group. Although she loved the boys, Changkyun knew that it was a lot of work trying to control thirteen guys during the rehearsals, even more when they were outside Korea. If Liv got along with the boys, once she decided to come back from America and live in Korea, their relationship had become even closer, especially with the main dancer, after all, Hoshi had helped her a lot since she started working with them and now he was one of Liv’s closest friends. I.M had agreed to have a drink with some of the guys, fortunately, one of his closest friends was part of the group, so it was not so difficult. Although, to tell the truth, it wasn't like Wonwoo contributed much, since the rapper was just as quiet as Changkyun.

"Everything turned out great, not a single mistake." She answered proud of the members. “After the concerts, we visited some places and well...the normal thing, you know... Hoshi was super wasted and we needed to save him before someone would see him."

"Again?"

"This time was your BFF's fault."

"Wonwoo?"

"Yes, he went to a who knows where with Hoshi while the rest were in a restaurant. Wonwoo ended up calling me asking for help because he couldn't make Hoshi move. I thought maybe Mingyu could help me, I mean, he owed me for covering so many dates for him.”

“Honey, Mingyu was not a good option, every time you've invited him to come, he ends up doing something stupid. You should’ve asked Jun for help, he’s discreet and know how to handle Hoshi." He said referring to another of the dancers in the group.

“I know, but he was talking to S. Coups, and if he found out Hoshi was drunk again, he would be furious. Anyway, when we got there, Wonwoo invited Mingyu to drink something and in a matter of minutes he was worse than Hoshi.”

Changkyun laughed hearing the rest of the story, which reminded him of the last night before returning to Korea.

"At least you didn't deal with angry people. Minhyuk locked himself by error and couldn't get out of the bathroom, Shownu ended up breaking the door, you have no idea how mad the hotel manager was. He didn't kick us out only because it was our last night and because Jooheon paid for the door while Kihyun screamed to Shownu that he was done with him being so brute."

"And you were...?"

"Drinking, hiding, and dying of shame. The three at the same time." He answered making Liv laugh. "I'm sure the next tour won’t be as pleasant as this one, Shownu is about to enter the military service. When a member leaves or is in hiatus, the group receives more attention than usual, and not even from the fans, but from the media. We already went through that when Wonho had to leave the group. I think they suspect that Shownu's enlistment is close, today we did nothing but get off the plane when there were already many people waiting for us.”

"But you're used to that by now, right?"

Changkyun nodded, but remembering how the flowers he had brought for his girlfriend were thrown away, he sighed and drank some more of the wine. The girl, who already knew every gesture of his, stopped eating and without letting him think or say anything, she asked him with her hand to move the chair a little so she could sit on his lap.

"What's happening? Come on, you know you're not good at hiding things."

Changkyun chuckled, he knew it was true, he could never surprise Liv because the girl found out everything when he was just planning it.

"I brought something for you, it was silly, just some flowers, but I really wanted to give them to you." The dancer asked him to keep talking as she let her fingers play with the rapper's black hair. “People would talk if they'd see the flowers, so Joon Hyung and Deok Joon took them, and ruined them.”

"Kyun, it's okay, you can give me flowers another time." She assured him kissing his forehead. "I would've also been annoyed too if they took away something that was meant for you, but... it doesn't matter anymore, the only thing that should matter to us is that we're together."

“I know, but that's not the point, Liv. This thing about having to hide our relationship is starting to bother me. I mean, we're getting married, and yes, I want us to have privacy and not be messed with, but…”

“Kyun, you've always been very careful with your private life. what's up now, huh?"

"It happens that I found the most wonderful person of all and that I want people to know it.” He confessed looking into her eyes. "Every aspect of my life has been recorded and published, even marketed, but the one thing I genuinely want to share has to remain a secret."

“I understand you, but you also have to think that you're part of a group. What if people don't react well?"

“Liv, I'm not going to mask all my life that I'm with you. Sooner or later they'll find out.”

“Let's wait a little longer. It hasn't been that long since we got engaged. I'm sure you can wait a bit." She said stroking his face.

“Don't you want them to know about me? Is there anyone else?" He asked pretending to be offended, even his tone of voice changed. "Do you like someone else and you don't want to marry me anymore?"

“Of course, that's precisely what happens.” Liv joked causing the boy to open his mouth and eyes showing a unique surprise.

Before Changkyun's complaints and claims began, the boy felt the warmth of Liv's hands on his neck, and soon it was her soft lips that had made him forget everything. Taking advantage of the fabric of her leggings, Liv made her hip rub against her boyfriend's, who in a matter of seconds had already removed her shirt to throw it to the floor. Changkyun's hands were now touching Liv's bare back, which was adorned with the same flower I.M had on his arm. They had gone together some time ago to get the tattoos.

"Kyun, wait..." She whispered taking him by the chin when she felt that her boyfriend was nowhere near marking her neck. "I have a photo shoot tomorrow, you can't leave me like you always do." She joked.

"First of all, I haven't seen you in WEEKS, you're asking too much of me, Olivia." He said frowning. “Second, what photoshoot? You didn't tell me anything."

After looking at her boyfriend's pants and noticing the bulge in them, the girl smirked. "Do you really want to go into details right now?"

I.M pretended he was thinking about it, but between giggles he led Liv to his room. Soon, she was already moaning uncontrollably, holding onto the back of the bed while Changkyun reassured her that there was nothing better than making love to him. Although, the way they both moved that night was not very romantic, but rather wild. So much so, that even though Liv had warned him, IM's fingers were marked on his girlfriend's hips.

No matter how many nights they had spent together, Olivia would always feel like she was in heaven when she had the rapper inside her body. I.M had never disappointed her, since the first time they had been together he had never failed to make her feel orgasms that practically left her shaking for a while.

As always, that night Changkyun got it again, his girlfriend shouted his name again while feeling the greatest of pleasures.

However, there was no doubt that what Liv enjoyed the most was when the real Changkyun came out. Nobody could ever imagine how sweet, carefully, and delicate he treated his girlfriend when he reduced the intensity of his movements. That was when Changkyun showed Liv better what she meant to him.

Those who knew Liv and I.M more intimately wondered how the rapper had made Liv fall in love to such an extent that the girl had left her life in the United States to stay by his side, there was no doubt that she had a career more than promising there. In fact, the members of Monsta X kept wondering how their maknae had managed to have the girl of his dreams and love him that way. The answer was that Liv had fallen madly in love with the Changkyun that made her feel like the most loved person in the world.

Before, that version of I.M only came out when they made love, he was too timid to let it out in his daily life, but as they became closer, Changkyun learned to feel comfortable and safe with who he really was, especially when he knew that it was what Liv loved most about him.

Some time passed in which they were only enjoying the company of the other while recovering their breath.

"Do we truly have to wait, Liv?" I.M asked, spreading kisses all over the dancer's back while she rested with her eyes closed. "Does that mean we're going to attend those awards on Friday and go back to sitting apart like we don't know each other?"

“It'll only be for a while, Kyun. Then, we'll be alone for several days.”

Changkyun sighed as he daydreamed about the time when they could be more at ease with their relationship. So far, the only times they could be peacefully alone and even go out for walks were when they stayed at Liv's parents' house. Being located in such a small town, that house was like paradise for them.

"Come on, handsome, change that face now or you're going to force me to change it myself."

The rapper didn't have time to say anything to Liv when she tickled him so much that he couldn't hold his stomach from laughing so hard. "Liv, if you keep this up, I SWEAR I'm going to dye my hair again and you'll see me blonde tomorrow!" Changkyun warned while trying to move her, but it was impossible.

He knew that his girlfriend loved to see him with dark hair, that was how she had met him, and that was how she had fallen in love with him. It wasn't that Liv didn't like blonde, it was just that black hair on Changkyun had a deadly effect on anyone who saw it.

“You drive me crazy regardless of your hair” She pecked her rapper’s cheek and made him blush.

"Baby, I'll take you to the photo shoot. If we can't be together on Friday, at least I'll go with you tomorrow."

"Kyun..."

"No one will know I'm there" he assured her as Liv was getting lost in her boyfriend's deep voice and the soft bite he gave her on the neck."

"Liv, you're my girlfriend, I want to be there for you. Please..." He asked, making such a cute face that the girl ended up giggling.

"Okay, but you have to be careful! Friday's ceremony's gonna be annoying enough, so we can't to do something tomorrow that your managers might be mad about."

"Everything's gonna be fine, my love" He promised before cuddling on his girlfriend's chest.
