Danganronpa V3 was a virtual reality killing game show, and all of the students had survived. However, despite the game being over, Kokichi seemed to be avoiding his classmates. They couldn't understand why he was acting so strange, as they had all been through the same experience and should have been bonding over it.

One day, they decided to confront him and find out what was going on. They went to his house and found him lying on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. His eyes looked milky, and his face was expressionless. They asked him what was wrong, but he didn't answer at first. After some prodding, he finally spoke up.

"I only joined the killing game because I thought it would help me see again," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've been blind since I was five years old, and I thought that if I won the game, I could use the prize money to pay for a surgery that would restore my sight."

The group was shocked. They had never known that Kokichi was blind, and they had never even considered the possibility that he had joined the game for such a personal reason. They realized that they had misjudged him, and that they had been too quick to label him as a liar and a manipulator.

Kokichi went on to explain that he had been so consumed by his desire to win the game and regain his sight that he had lost sight of everything else. He had deceived his classmates, lied to them, and even put their lives in danger, all for the sake of his own selfish goal.

The group listened to him in silence, unsure of what to say. They could understand why he had done what he had done, but they couldn't condone it. They knew that they could never fully trust him again, but they also knew that they didn't want to give up on him.

As they left Kokichi's house, the group made a pact to help him in any way they could. They wanted to show him that he didn't have to go through life alone, that there were people who cared about him and wanted to support him.

Over the next few weeks, they spent more time with Kokichi, getting to know him as a person rather than just a player in a game. They learned about his interests, his fears, and his hopes for the future. They also discovered that he was a talented musician, and they encouraged him to pursue his passion.

As they got closer to Kokichi, they realized that he was not just a liar or a manipulator. He was a complex person with his own struggles and insecurities, and he had done what he had done because he was desperate for a chance to see again.

Eventually, Kokichi opened up to them about his past, about how he had lost his sight in a car accident when he was just a child. He told them about his struggles to adjust to life without sight, and how he had always dreamed of being able to see again.

The group was moved by his story, and they made a promise to help him achieve his dream. They started a fundraising campaign to pay for his surgery, and they used their connections to get him an appointment with one of the best eye surgeons in the world.

As Kokichi went through the surgery and started his recovery, the group rallied around him, supporting him every step

They're playing Love Is Blind, SMOSH style.

Kaito and Kokichi kept matching because Kokichi was purposely choosing the opposite of his typical responses.

Eventually Kaito said fuck it an proposed to Kokichi by saying, "we've got no other options here man"

Kokichi wasn't impressed and is strongly considering turning him down, but he wants to win so he won't.

Miu finds this development fucking hilarious and won't stop laughing at her own offensive gay jokes.

Shuichi is amused as well only because he knows Kokichi screwed himself over and he knew this outcome would happen.

Maki just wants to know how Kokichi will respond because she wants to propose to Kaito

Gonta still doesn't understand the game and thinks Kaito is proposing for real.

Are They Jigsaw's Protégés?!?!?

As you woke up, you were greeted by a barrage of blinding, uncomfortable fluorescent lights. It took a moment for your vision to come back to you, but when it did, you realized you were chained to the floor by a metal collar with a Monokuma face on it. The Monokuma pulsed with lights and beeped occasionally, the threat of what it could do to you alone very present. As you looked around, you spotted three people around you, you in the center of a circular table with the middle cut out, similar to what newscasters use, but full circle.

"Oh, good! You're awake!"

A cheerful young man giggles, leaning slightly over the table excitedly to face you.

"Welcome, welcome! Make yourself comfortable, as comfortable as you can with a bomb around your neck!"

This statement came from a light-haired man with an obscenely normal smile for the statement he's just made.

"Here's the issue, my dear... You've been a thorn in our sides and a pain in our necks. So we've willed you dead. However, merciful as we are, and for the thrill alone, we have decided to allow you to choose who determines your fate. You can choose me, Celestia Ludenberg, Ultimate Gambler and Despair, with my cards... You can choose Nagito Komaeda, Ultimate Lucky Student and Despair, with his beloved wheel of fortune... Or you can choose Kokichi Ouma, Ultimate Supreme Leader and Despair, with his favorite dice. However, if you wish to contest your fate, you may decide to play a game of our choice against someone of your choice for your life. Do you understand? Good. Make your choice, so says your queen."

Kokichi having a very fucked sense of trust my beloved

i don't think i talk about his trust issues enough and honestly that's a crime on my part. this man can fit so much trust issues in him.

i personally think my favorite way of showing his trust issues is him forcing people to work hard for his trust, if you want it you have to go through the worst of his nasty facades to prove yourself worthy of nuggets of who he really is. as results only people who were already close to him before he developed this defense mechanism and really damn stubborn people can actually get through to him, and even then depending on how fresh the trust is it can be pretty easy to break with small things.

he's kinda like a spicy kitten in that right- he spats and hisses but will eventually trust, but if you slightly break his trust or overwhelm him too early on he relapses and you end up several steps back in the process. i imagine Shuichi had to deal with alot of trial and error getting to know him because of this, but Shuichi wants to know him so he sits there with his metaphorical kitty gogurt trying to spspspspsp Kokichi out of the corner of his mental cage

because his trust is so precarious and difficult to achieve and maintain, he tends to perceive other's trust as working the same way by default. unless it's someone who wears their heart on their sleeve, Kokichi assumes everyone else is hard to earn the trust of and once recived is a balancing act to maintain, which means when he breaks someone's trust he kinda just- falls into this mindset of "i destroyed everything and our relationship may never recover", then ends up blind-sighted and confused when they forgive him so soon after, maybe even calling them weak or too trusting cause in his mind it's like "why the fuck would you forgive that easily?? i didn't even make an attempt to make up for it and you forgive me???"

it's also worth mentioning that i like to imagine that Kokichi is serious about his privacy and stuff and has a very particular ideal of what he considers private, this ideal usually being anything from what people usually consider private info (ie; where he lives, his trauma, his family life, medical shit) to stuff that are uniquely Kokichi (ie: hobbies, food preferences, what he and his friends like to do together, even how to interact positively with him).

because he's so serious about his privacy, regardless of how insignificant you deem it, he will feel like his trust was violated if you tell anyone without running it by him first. he claims it's for the mystery, but really he's just paranoid and trying to keep up a facade he can control- micromanaging who knows what harmless fact about him to feel comfort, telling someone something as simple as his favorite animal without his permission throws him into a tizzy

— 𝙘𝙬 : mentions of bad eating , sleep deprivation , fighting , sad stuff ( but resolved with a happy ending )

— 𝙖𝙪𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙧 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙨 : the request was too long to fit on here , it’d make up the entire story itself.

↳ kokichi spun a pencil around with his fingers , mindlessly thinking about yesterday. he glanced over to your empty seat. maybe he was too harsh on you. you’d definitely come back tomorrow , right?

→ the day before , you’d fought with each other. or , more like kokichi was fuming at you and you were just listening. even if you did decide to speak , he’d just slam your words down and mix them up to be an accusation. he’d said some pretty bad stuff , and he thoroughly regretted them now that he was looking back.

→ and then he’d just left you there. he didn’t break up or anything , he just left the room with the tension still up in the air. he didn’t even apologize for all the things he said and couldn’t take back.

→ kokichi had been “ blinded by rage , ” and as he’s heard before , anger can make you say things you’ll regret.

→ right after class , he messaged you immediately. no response came , even after the twentieth time. then he gave up and went to your house instead.

→ sprinting to your house , he got reminded on how you’d , after every school day , offer to take him home instead of walking the way. his heart stung even more.

→ when he got there , he pounded on the door. realizing no one was home , he went to the neighbors instead. he refrained from knocking down their door to ask for answers , but he did knock rather hurriedly.

→ your neighbor came out , and kokichi quickly pushed the question he’d had lodged in his throat out. “ do you know where (s/o) is? ”

→ “ ahh — they left early in the morning to go on a trip. they’ll come back , as it’s only a well deserved vacation i’m presuming. ” as kokichi listened , he thought to himself , “ well … could be worse. was this … what they were trying to tell me yesterday? …

→ he would be okay. you would be okay. everything would be okay. he’d apologize and everything would be resolved. it just had to.

→ things were not going well the first few days. kokichi had grown self aware to everything you did for him ; from self care like eating proper meals and comfort of having someone to talk to who wouldn’t scorn him every time he walked past , to someone to help him stay energized by driving him home on your motorcycle or even just cuddling with him when he needed it. he missed you dearly.

→ even worse — what if something happened to you? you didn’t respond at all — what if something bad happened? did your plane crash? — no , if it had , he would’ve heard something about that. maybe you just lost your phone or … maybe you were simply ignoring him out of spite.

→ he felt sick , physically and mentally. he hadn’t eaten healthily due to the sick feeling he got whenever he ate , just because it reminded him of you and some of his last words to you before you left. what if you found someone better? he deserved to be dumped. you deserved better.

→ on day six , he was flat out broke. he never found any reason to get a job yet , mostly because you’d help him with purchases. he had a cold from walking in the rain to avoid paying to go home. he felt horrible.

→ unlike his usual character , he had trouble keeping up a devious persona everyday without you , as silly and weak as it sounded. where did that “ i can do everything by myself ” kokichi go? was he fully gone? he just wouldn’t , and couldn’t , accept that yet. he swore later that he’d become more independent , and not let you dote on him so much anymore.

→ homework and tests? forget it. he forgot it often because he was busy hanging out with his dice gang to soothe himself a bit , not that it helped tons. he also forgot because you’d be there to remind him. if it weren’t for his capable mind , he would’ve flunked — but thankfully , he’s kokichi.

→ and then there was the issue of not sleeping. his thoughts were muddled with you. he’d hug his pillow and blankets that still smelt of you from when you were there to stay over for a few days. he’d listen to some of your favorite music tracks. but it wasn’t the same without you.

→ he waited. and waited. and waited some more.

→ message after message he sent everyday , nothing went through. until …

ding! kokichi lifted himself up from his pillow with a jolt. you replied. pictures and descriptions of where you were , what you were doing , why some of the messages may have not gone through … a signal issue. suddenly , his phone began vibrating consistently due to a flooding of messages to him — all about your days and such. and at the end … over the days , kokichi had messaged you with apologies stacked on top of each other. and at the end , an apology of your own waited for him. it was stupid , whatever he argued with you on. he didn’t understand why you’d apologize over that. and once you video called him , he made sure to say that.

→ he’d hold in his crying , both in relief and overwhelming stress. and then he heard that you were home.

→ it was pouring out , but kokichi couldn’t care less. he was meeting with you , even if you had to unpack still. his feet splashed against the puddles , and as he arrived to your door , he knocked once again.

→ when you opened the door , he tackled you in a hug. you were both drenched now , but he felt so warm inside instead. ignoring your warnings about “ catching a cold from you , kokichi ” , he dragged you upstairs so that he could finally , properly hug you.

→ the next few days after that , he was clingy. but he told you he could do some things himself. and he did … for the most part , at least. but he tried.

→ forget about being partners or talking to anyone else the next few days without being interrupted , you’re sticking with kokichi.

❤ Beautiful and certainly perfect. He was the one that noticed you first. He knew you from school. He would visit your library, checking out many books and though he knew all of the information within them, seeing you was worth it—the only thing he cared about learning was you.

❤ He saw you reading in the time between people coming up to your little info desk. When he went to check up yet another book, he looked over the desk and saw you reading Aristotle. His heartbeat quickened and he felt a smile form from under his mask.

❤ ^ He made a small reference to the book and you instantly let out an 'oh!' and leaned forward.

"You read that stuff, don't you?" You smiled. "You look like the type." "I study history." Matching your body language he put his books on the counter, letting his hands rest at the front. He noticed how your eyes light up. "Ah, we are rather similar. That's amazing, thank you for entertaining me today, it's been getting rather boring here." He doesn't respond and instead fidgets, picking up one of his books once more. "I'm finished with this book," his eyebrows lift as if he wants you to be impressed, "Have you read it? It's one of my favorites?" When you peer at it, you read the title: "The Blind Owl" by Sadegh Hedayat and it is in the original language. You nod and tried not to seem as impressed as you were: "Well, you might be my favorite customer." And then he started tapping his fingers until your eyes went to somebody behind him. Your voice quickly turned into customer service. "Well," you look up at him, "You can put that book in the drop-box over there thank you very much."

❤ He learned that you are the one that decorates and organizes the interior. The building itself is dark wood so you did everything you could to make the bookshelves and the tables match the brown shade.

❤ The first time you saw him in a romantic sense was when he was helping you with decorating for Valentine's Day. It was a bit funny when he tried to put Freud on the front display.

❤ "NO."

❤ The Sunday morning that you two started decorating for it had peaceful weather. It put you in a positive mood, which ended up being contagious. You were grinning as you hang up ribbons and strings with plastic hearts on the walls. When you moved to the bookshelves, you saw him browsing for the display and you realized you had never seen him in between these shelves before. He is beautiful, mystical when concentrating: you watch his eyes glance up and down.

❤ ^ From where you usually sit in the front, you only get rare glimpses of him when he reads, and the time you get to see him are only when he checks things out. For this Valentines Day, your gift is seeing him in his natural state: how he looks when he thinks nobody is looking.

❤ But when he looks up at you, your stomach drops. You are frozen, not looking away and forcing yourself to be brave and hold the eye contact.

❤ "Look at you," he said.

❤ And after that day, he started inviting you to go out to historical exhibits with him as dates. He showed you all the artifacts he adored and constantly looked over to see if you were listening. You never stopped paying attention, and you looked at him with such admiration that he almost stuttered.

❤ The next time he walked into your library he saw photographs of the artifacts. They are near the history and culture section, and the old-style coloring of the portraits match the aesthetic of the place. He adored you more than anything. He found somebody who perfectly admires his interests.

Rantarou Amami

"Intelligence is admirable," you say while looking out the classroom's window, "I like anybody who is willing to read and learn." Amami listens intensely. "When I travel, there are so many people who are willing to tell their stories... that's when I learn the most." You smirk, "Are you trying to impress me?" When you look back, you see the casual smile on his face. "How so? But would you say that you are impressed?" To hide your smirk, you put your chin in your palm and look out the window again. "Try again next time."

❤ When you two started dating you'd hand him books that have small print as well as complicated sentences, sometimes with the big books you'll obnoxiously drop it on his desk.

❤ "Do you want me to write a book report?"

❤ You hum, "ooh." And after clapping your hands together, you give him sarcastic puppy eyes, "I'll give you a kiss if you do!"

❤ "Okay," he chuckles at you, "I'll consider."

❤ ^ The words made him hesitate a bit. He has always been patient with romance. He liked you for your random bursts of excitement with it came to book. Of course, with the SHSL Librarian it should be expected, but still, he had never seen somebody as passionate of history and knowledge as you.

❤ He wasn't desiring immediate romance or short-lived love, and you didn't even go into his house until around 5 months into dating.

❤ Though, he always read what you gave him (and esp the things you let him borrow) but sometimes it would take at least a week since you would purposely give him some complex texts just for your own amusement. With humor, he really would write a book report sometimes.

❤ The main thing you love about him is how he takes your interest seriously. He doesn't brush you off or half-ass it. He holds your love for books at the top of his list.

❤ If you ask him if he likes the book then he will give an honest review but focus on the positive parts.

❤ And sometimes... he will give you book suggestions. Which you read in half a day and he's like ??? bro.

❤ ^ Then you info dump about the author's life and their process with writing the book LOL.

I’ve been working on redesigns for a while now, and here’s the first batch! Rather than doing them in a specific order, I had people on insta drop characters into an ask box and went down the line! This wound up being a really, really fun practice! Going with a chibi-ish style helped a lot in trying to just get the base idea down and worry about tiny details later on. Explanations/notes under the cut!

Edit: Changed Kork’s uniform to a deep navy blue as opposed to the original green after being informed of the ill origins of that green. Also changed Kyoko’s hair slightly

Notes on photos in text form...

Korekiyo - Cut hair shorter, emblem replaces armband, shirt no longer hanging out; tucked in.

Chihiro - Hair pin from Junko, Ibuki dyed her tipes, new ribbon from Taka

Mikan - Kokichi cut her hair (for her, dw), leggings for coverage, longer sleeves, non-slip shoes. (for reference, i asked my mom just to make sure... and mikan's outfit does not at all suit a nurse, so i gave her more coverage while still keeping the fit there in a certain fashion)

Ibuki - Pigtails!!, they actually wear (part of) the school uniform, dyed their romper, white and black hair like hers would not go well as the black would quickly bleed into such small streaks of white. So i had their bangs and two sections in the front white with pink and blue streaks, while the rest of her hair is black with pink and blue streaks. Her horns are completely fake and are just attached to a headband.

Mondo - Emblem on the right jacket breast, overall just simplified certain things and gave him longer hair.

Kyoko - Butchered CUT her hair, pants for their own comfort, bracelet is smaller in actuality, it was a gift from Taka shortly after she was taken in by the Ishimarus (it's a whole thing), they got sneakers because their boots wound up not working as something to wear for long periods of time.

Hajime - Scar from surgery is there, just not shown due to simplified style (and not at all because i forgot), pride flag button, Usami keychain from Chiaki.

Chiaki - She's chubbier now :), gave her HP's uniform top and ribbon, hair color brightened to be a bit more pink, shorts under her skirt, tries to eat things she shouldn't.

Hina - Heterochromia (she's afraid of straight people), barrette is now heart shaped, swim club leader, she's got a bra because... her back would hurt hello?, i'm sorry- her shoes were tacky imo so I changed them

Sonia - Glittery bow, emblem on left arm--student council, 'dress' based on beta design, boots act as Kaz defense

Nekomaru - Uniform sleeves always rip, baggier pants because... reasons.

Makoto - His hair almost makes sense!, bro is falling constantly, ONE jacket, no doubling up... bland, but not too bland

Taka - Public Morals Committee chairperson, student council president, debate club leader, taller collar, more gold accents, NO arm band--it's replaced with the eye shown next to him, got matching boots from Junko after their original boots were ruined by bullies

Celeste - Her and Taka do one another's eyebrows, hair is curly--drills still fake, beta fit is superior, bunny from Hifumi (they're actually close, an attempt to give her more humanization was made), monster high esc shoes (she wears her canon shoes to most events, but the monster high esc shoes mix tennis shoes and heels for ease of movement and comfort)

Gundham - Oldest Ishimaru sibling, leader of the animal raising committee, partially blind, less layers

Mahiru - Still has her camera, it was just excluded here to focus on her design, romper with flowy shorts, matching bracelets with Hiyoko

Regarding the Hopes Peak emblem; I thought it may be interesting to change up the way uniforms are implemented into it... In that, there are basic uniform options, but students are relatively allowed to wear what they wish provided it followed guidelines (example being Miu's uh.. garters?? I think that's what they are? they wouldn't be allowed), and had the Hopes Peak insignia somewhere on the outfit. Following that, while the insignia can be somewhat customized in that students could change the white to be a different color, but students who lead clubs, committees, student council, etc., have the black part replaced.

(Note: assuming Nidai doesn't directly manage any teams at HP, he does not have an insignia implying such; subject to change.)

An interesting little fun fact here... well, to me... some of these actually called back to the beta designs! Mainly, with Sonia and Celeste! Admittedly a few characters got little to no changes, mostly because I just found that their designs already fit pretty well. Others, such as Taka, Makoto, or Mahiru, took the basic idea of their outfits and spruced them up. I'm not entirely sure when I originally implemented the Amy Rose rings on Taka's sleeves, but I felt it added a bit more of a dynamic pallet to his design. Or like, Makoto, a mix of simplification and sprucing up... I've never enjoyed the excessive layers he's got (lookin at you, gundham), wearing his school jacket over his hoodie always seemed... strange to me. So I figured with the change to HP dress code (considering these students don't even wear the uniform in school modes or anything), it allowed for him to just wear the hoodie with a HP insignia embroidered onto it. He's also got bandages given his canonically clumsy nature. Mahiru is someone else whose design I like but I wanted to change up somewhat, so I changed her dress to a romper with a flared bottom and a flannel pattern.

🗯️ ❭ ❭ you met kokichi a long time ago, just a few years after you were born. the connection ignited so quickly, almost as if it were fate. almost as if he was the soul that was meant to guide, help, and teach you. almost as if he was the soul that was meant to be a part of your struggles. as you two grew up together, he influenced you in some ways that would be a part of your identity, but never enough to have the same reputations.

❕ when shuichi figured out that you and kokichi were closer than he realized at first, he had mixed emotions about this fact. the mixed emotions were fueled by some of his bitter views towards kokichi. the clear effect of kokichi’s influence on you was more clear to him now, yet not clear enough to be informed of the exact lengths of this influence.

❕ he can’t deny the interest that sparked as he witnessed your behavior. people were somewhat clouded by the fact that you’re just a kokichi, but tamer and less of an annoyance when it comes to lies.

❕ he feels pulled in by your reputation. he feels an urge to push himself away from you, due to the thoughts that some things would fail, such as having a conversation with you or attempting to see you from a drastically different light. yet in the end of the day, he also felt more intrigued to discover the depths of you, and unravel the thoughts that blinded everyone.

❕ he feels as if he’s more likely to walk away from a conversation feeling less annoyed, and less puzzled by a bunch of lies being thrown at him that he’ll need to pick apart to find the truth, due to you lying less. he finds it even more interesting that you lie less, he wonders what other traits you picked up from kokichi that you express to a lesser extent than him?

❕ shuichi giving you a gift, or suggesting a place for you two to hang out, is always fun. though, one of the most interesting parts is the way you reveal your opinions on some gifts and suggestions. either you share about how your opinion contrasts or compares with kokichi’s thoughts on those things, or shuichi remembers what kokichi’s opinion on those things were. in the rarer moments, you tell shuichi about how kokichi influenced your opinion on some places or gifts.

❕ you’re a bit more blatant when it comes to opening up more than kokichi. you tell shuichi about the stories you’ve been told, the experiences you lived through, and the opinions you’ve gathered. it warms the both of you, and brings you two closer.

❕ with you telling some stories, it’s incredibly expected that you’ll talk about kokichi. going to you and hearing you, shuichi realizes he knows more about kokichi and his background. eventually, you help shuichi have a more-positive opinion towards kokichi, and help him realize some of kokichi’s traits that he hadn’t had a total grasp on before.

❕ expect you two rambling about a bunch of stuff. shuichi can get insecure about rambling or overthinking about his observances and interests, yet most times you don’t mind it. overthinking, ranting, rambling, are one of the top things that strengthens the bond. he loves how passionate you can be about the things you dislike or like, and your energy as you speak.

❕ sometimes he’ll make a light-hearted joke or comment about how joyful or hyper your energy is. sometimes, he does feel a tad overwhelmed by your energy, or slightly intimidated, though that doesn’t mean that he doesn't find your energy cute. to an extent, he does find your energy admirable. the way you can bring liveliness to others and to him, the way you can bring the life out of him that he forgets about, is something so compelling about you.

❕ shuichi does get slight insecurities about the fact that he can’t always match up with your energy, even when your energy can make him secure at times. in his eyes, he isn’t so interesting, joyful, and even can be a debbie downer at times. of course, this motivates you to tell him the truth about your opinions on his energy and him as a person.

❕ to you, he’s a bit of a refresher from all the people you attract (kokichi and D.I.C.E) and you feel so secure with him, he’s more grounded, so gentle and so observant. he can be so polite, yet he knows when things are too much and he tries to set boundaries. you love he has his unpredictable moments; how he expresses sass and heat towards someone being a bother (like miu), yet he turns soft a couple minutes later.

❕ sometimes he feels so happy by your presence, he just can’t help and blush. if you throw in a flirty comment (which sometimes you do), he’ll become a total blush and it reminds him about how your unpredictability can be a blessing and a curse.

❕ you help him see things in a positive light, or see the positive side of things. sometimes he helps you realize the cons and negatives of things. you totally help him have tolerance towards certain things (such as kokichi) and you help him associate some things he’s either neutral about, things he tolerate, or even things he dislikes with positivity (like specific movies, books, etc.), due to your joyful nature and/or opinions.

— IN GAME, things would get really tense the more kokichi’s lies and presence affect everyone. there’s kokichi being way more distant from you while also lashing out at you sometimes, as an attempt to keep you away from being involved in his plans and for you to not get the heavy burden of having kokichi’s exact reputation by being so close to him. there’s people avoiding you, dismissing you, having less patience with you, or even lashing out at times, because of your reputation being more damaged as the game goes on, especially when kokichi becomes cryptic or his lies become more stressful and/or harmful.

and then there’s shuichi, who’s struggling with others being negative towards you, struggling to be close to you around others, and struggling with not feeling somewhat tense with you due to kokichi’s actions. the internal conflict just brings more headaches, but he tries to set them aside because he knows you’re struggling and wants to bring comfort into your life.

— IN GAME, since you possess kokichi’s leadership skills to an extent, you’ll act as a guide for shuichi, knowing that people look up to him. in fact, the longer you survive, the more likely shuichi will accept you as someone being a "co-leader" of sorts, and someone that others should look up to as well, which motivates some people to look up to you to an extent.

you two give each other life in different ways. you two give security to each other in different ways. there’s so many things you two do differently, yet you two always result in feeling safe with each other.

Kokichi is screeching at gonta calling him a traitor who is clearly BLIND he would NEVER he’s just CERTAIN that he’s not a cat he’s something ELSE why does no one else tell! He can’t find a heartbeat! He can’t feel him breathe! His fur is weirdly coarse and when he can get all the way through the fur his skin feels wrong! Why is no one else noticing this!? Stop dismissing it as some cats being born a bit different he doesn’t just have a conditi-oh my god this is just the plot to invader zim

But yeah kokichi when he’s in work mode is very dependable, unless it’s something stupid, like if you asked him to get a thorn out of your paw he’d look at you, look at the thorn, look back at you with an unamused expression and then push the thorn deeper in like cmon aren’t you a warrior? Big brave warrior can’t get the thorn from his paw? Too big of an ouchie?

Beyond that though he knows full well how dangerous herbs can get and how important his job is. On the job he’s focused, calm, and strong to lean against. He’s especially good at treating kits and young apprentices due to his ability to be a soothing degree in silly in even a serious situation.
