Kokichi Oma had always been a mysterious and enigmatic figure among his classmates at Hope's Peak Academy. He was known for his mischievous pranks and cunning schemes, but no one knew much about his past or his family.
One day, during a casual conversation with his classmates, Kokichi casually referred to Rantaro Amami as his older brother, shocking everyone in the room. They had always known that Rantaro and Kokichi were close, but they never suspected that they were related.
Kokichi quickly brushed off the comment and changed the subject, but his classmates couldn't stop thinking about it. They wondered if Kokichi was telling the truth, and if so, what kind of family did he come from?
Later that day, while searching for clues in the school's library, Kiibo, Miu, and Maki stumbled upon an old photo album. As they looked through the pages, they found a picture of a young boy who looked remarkably like Rantaro. He had curly orange hair, freckles, and a darkish tan. In the picture, he was holding a child who looked like a young version of Kokichi, who appeared to be around six years old.
The three classmates were stunned. They knew that they had found something significant, but they didn't know what it meant. They decided to confront Kokichi about it and show him the picture.
At first, Kokichi tried to play it cool and act like he didn't know what they were talking about. But as they pressed him for answers, he finally broke down and revealed the truth.
The boy in the picture was named Azim Yukizome, and he was Kokichi's babysitter and caretaker when he was a child. Azim was like an older brother to Kokichi, and they were very close. However, when Kokichi was six years old, Azim was killed in a tragic home invasion.
Kokichi explained that he and his twin brother Keiichi were playing hide and seek with Azim when the invaders broke into their home. Azim quickly hid the twins in a closet, but he was killed in the process. Keiichi knew that Azim was dead, but he kept it from Kokichi and told him that Azim was just sleeping until he was nine years old.
Kokichi's classmates were shocked and saddened by his story. They had never seen him so vulnerable and emotional before. They could see that his past had deeply affected him, and they wanted to help him in any way they could.
As they continued to talk, Kokichi revealed that Azim's mother was Chisa Yukizome, a former Ultimate Housekeeper and a teacher at Hope's Peak Academy. The revelation left Kokichi's classmates with even more questions, and they knew that they had to investigate further to uncover the truth about Kokichi's past.
Despite the emotional toll of the conversation, Kokichi felt a sense of relief. He had finally shared his story with someone, and he knew that he could trust his classmates to support him. As he looked at the picture of Azim and his younger self, he couldn't help but feel grateful for the new kind of family he had found at Hope's Peak Academy.

Danganronpa V3 was a virtual reality killing game show, and all of the students had survived. However, despite the game being over, Kokichi seemed to be avoiding his classmates. They couldn't understand why he was acting so strange, as they had all been through the same experience and should have been bonding over it.
One day, they decided to confront him and find out what was going on. They went to his house and found him lying on his bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. His eyes looked milky, and his face was expressionless. They asked him what was wrong, but he didn't answer at first. After some prodding, he finally spoke up.
"I only joined the killing game because I thought it would help me see again," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I've been blind since I was five years old, and I thought that if I won the game, I could use the prize money to pay for a surgery that would restore my sight."
The group was shocked. They had never known that Kokichi was blind, and they had never even considered the possibility that he had joined the game for such a personal reason. They realized that they had misjudged him, and that they had been too quick to label him as a liar and a manipulator.
Kokichi went on to explain that he had been so consumed by his desire to win the game and regain his sight that he had lost sight of everything else. He had deceived his classmates, lied to them, and even put their lives in danger, all for the sake of his own selfish goal.
The group listened to him in silence, unsure of what to say. They could understand why he had done what he had done, but they couldn't condone it. They knew that they could never fully trust him again, but they also knew that they didn't want to give up on him.
As they left Kokichi's house, the group made a pact to help him in any way they could. They wanted to show him that he didn't have to go through life alone, that there were people who cared about him and wanted to support him.
Over the next few weeks, they spent more time with Kokichi, getting to know him as a person rather than just a player in a game. They learned about his interests, his fears, and his hopes for the future. They also discovered that he was a talented musician, and they encouraged him to pursue his passion.
As they got closer to Kokichi, they realized that he was not just a liar or a manipulator. He was a complex person with his own struggles and insecurities, and he had done what he had done because he was desperate for a chance to see again.
Eventually, Kokichi opened up to them about his past, about how he had lost his sight in a car accident when he was just a child. He told them about his struggles to adjust to life without sight, and how he had always dreamed of being able to see again.
The group was moved by his story, and they made a promise to help him achieve his dream. They started a fundraising campaign to pay for his surgery, and they used their connections to get him an appointment with one of the best eye surgeons in the world.
As Kokichi went through the surgery and started his recovery, the group rallied around him, supporting him every step

After weeks of fighting and struggling to survive in the deadly virtual reality game, the remaining classmates of Kokichi Oma finally managed to escape. They were relieved to find out that it was all just a simulation, and that they were safe and sound in the real world.
But as they gathered outside the hospital where Kokichi was being treated, they realized that not everyone had made it out unscathed. Kokichi was in a coma, and it was unclear whether he would ever wake up.
His classmates took turns visiting him, hoping that their presence would somehow help him recover. But it was Nagito, Kokichi's father, who spent the most time by his son's side.
Nagito would sit in a chair next to Kokichi's bed, holding his hand and talking to him as though he could hear everything that was being said. And every night, before he left to get some rest, Nagito would sing a song that he used to sing to Kokichi when he was a little boy.
"Beautiful boy, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful boy," he would croon softly, his voice cracking with emotion. "Before you go to sleep, say a little prayer. Every day, in every way, it's getting better and better."
Kokichi's classmates would often walk by the room and hear Nagito singing. They could see the tears in his eyes, and they knew that he was struggling to come to terms with what had happened to his son.
But they also knew that Kokichi was a fighter, and that if anyone could pull through, it was him. And so they continued to visit him, hoping that their love and support would help him wake up from his coma and return to the world that they had all fought so hard to escape.

As Kokichi walked down the aisle with his dads, Hajime and Nagito, he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with emotion. His older twin brother Keiichi was crying next to him in his bridesmaid dress, and Kokichi couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support of his family.
Izuru had a flashback as they walked, remembering holding a two-year-old Kokichi's hand as they crossed the street. The lyrics of "Beautiful Boy" by John Lennon echoed in his mind:
Before you cross the street
Take my hand
Life is just what happens to you
While you're busy making other plans
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful boy
Darling, darling, darling
Darling Sean
As they reached the altar, Kokichi turned to his dads and brother. "Thank you for everything," he said, his voice choked with emotion. "I wouldn't be here without you."
Hajime and Nagito smiled at their son, tears in their eyes. "We love you, Kokichi," they said in unison.
As the ceremony began, Kokichi danced with his dads to the song "Beautiful Boy," the lyrics a reminder of how much they had all grown and changed together over the years.
And as the night wore on, Kokichi couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support of his family, and for the beautiful life that lay ahead of him with his partner Shuichi.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful
Beautiful boy
Darling, darling, Darling
Darling kokichi
