Maturity is realizing that Sasuke never 'gave into evil' but was actually a child who witnessed the literally massacre of his whole family by his older brother who he looked up to and THEN was forced to relieve it for hours by him and the same brother then lied to him to get him to be obsessed with becoming stronger,got no help for his trauma afterwards and in fact had his bad symptoms enabled for years and gr00med into joining a ped0phile as a not even 13 year old and isolated from his friends for years by him so one of the biggest victim's of Konoha's child soldier and general miltary system and that Sakura's desperation to get him back wasn't toxic but her genuinely trying to help him in the best way she knew how to and OFFERED TO DEFECT KONOHA JOIN HIS SIDE because that's how much she cared about him,not purely out of crush but out of the friendship that bloomed between them in the og series

Maturity is also realizing that Bakugou dosen't deserve brownies points for the bare minimum of not going supervillain after a life of privilige because he got some mean online comments one time for assaulting his classmate he KNEW was an abuse victim and getting so pissed afterwards he literally acted like a killer animal and even months of 'character development' later still having the AUDACITY to be a dick to the same classmate's best friend and pseudo-girlfriend who's objectively a million times more of a hero than he could ever be

Sasusaku is NOT like Zutara,Sakura was down bad for Sasuke since she was like 9 and she got him to feel the same way like a year into being best friends without even really trying and he considers her his saviour from his own inner darkness because she actually treated him like a person even with her huge crush on him and is the only other Team 7 member he actively likes and she offered to deffect the child soldier system they'd been groomed into for him meanwhile Katara barely even looked at guys who weren't Aang other than Jet and even that was purely because he was brown and a comrade and she thought he was cool and handsome asf nonstop and was down to commit unspeakable violence on anybody who just LOOKED at him wrong and Zuko was a teenage terrorist for his imperialist dad's approval sake until he unlearned his propaganda with ZERO hand in from Katara because that was all Aang and Sokka and he had TWO whole entire childhood crushes turned girlfriends in Mai and Ty Lee throught the whole show.Don't do Sasusaku like this,you ain't got no right to speak on their name with your Pocahontas and John Smith-adjacent foolery and you literally sound like Harry Potter fans who compare him to Percy Jackson,be QUIETTTTT

Sasuke's behavior makes a lot more sense when you remember he was 7 during the Uchiha massacre,only 12 when Orochimaru got him to join his side and not even 18 in all of Shippuden.I may be an asshole but i'm also not a monster so i'm not about to hate a child because he witnessed his older brother genocide'ing their entire family in front of him when he wasn't even in the double digits and then spent 5 years living alone because he was seen as 'a precious tragedy' and didn't have the social skills to make friends with other kids since nobody taught him any so he got gr00med and isolated by a ped0phile into doing bad things as a result because he wasn't 'nice' about it.Sakura knew what was up,he DIDN'T do anything wrong and DID deserve to be saved and loved even if it wasn't in Konoha and i also understand why she wanted it to be by her side specifically since they were eachother's first love and why she forgave him for the murder attempts seeing as he was literally replapsing both times and not even targetting her in particular seeing as he hurt Naruto in his normal state plenty of times with zero remorse but DID feel bad about hers since she actually cares about him and the Uchiha heritage unlike mister 'You were MY friend,do what I say,not what YOU want'
