I am a Bible student. This means that my autocorrect thinks I want to capitalize all male pronouns.

In the Book Ecclesiastes, King Solomon, the probable author of the book, left his reflections and meditations about the immaterial truths, and on the most excellent and perfect science, wisdom; because it is the nature of the spiritual gift of understanding to seek God with the heart.
And in this way, the wise man began his thoughts about that which is immutable and eternal:
"Then I applied myself to the understanding of wisdom, and also of madness and folly, but I learned that this, too, is a chasing after the wind.
For with much wisdom comes much sorrow;
the more knowledge, the more grief" Ecclesiastes 1:17-18.
Wisdom and foolishness are before the reason of man as mentalities and paths since the creation of all things, the wise man taught. Like Cain and Abel, like Moses and Pharaoh, who in their own times and epochs chose different paths. And this is why wisdom, which is God's own gift, cannot compel or command but rather invite and persuade, the universe is a harmony, and the ethical laws of the universe are indefectible for human beings.
But then the wise man paradoxically concluded something else:
"God created mankind upright,
but they have gone in search of many schemes" Ecclesiastes 7:29.
The wise man with this affirmation in the Bible explained that all of God's creation is good and that there is no ontological or underlying evil in the universe. But it happens that sometimes persons can be deprived of something due to some accident, for example, a blind man is deprived of something he should have, sight, and this deprivation is for some reason, birth, a fortuitous event. And the same reasoning applies to the fool, virtue is something that man should have, but the fool is deprived of it. Wisdom with its science calls men to seek beatitude, but men are free to choose.

After numerous difficulties during his second missionary journey, Paul managed to found the Church of Corinth, where he preached for more than a year. But after leaving, other Christian missionaries arrived and disowned Paul, causing disorder in the community, and it was for this reason that Paul addressed two important epistles to this community.
Following the doctrine of the kingdom of God and with the purpose of strengthening the faith of the members of the church of Corinth, the apostle Paul in his second epistle to this spiritual community delved into the constant opposition between the flesh and the spirit, and how man is torn between these forces or mentalities, before the thought of man are two paths: righteousness and sin. And whoever follows Christ must accept with humility the opposition and hostility of those who love worldly things such as money, power, or bodily pleasures.
This is why Paul with determination spoke of the inner man made by the baptism in the likeness of Christ, and how that man must persevere in the search for the gift of eternal life despite the difficulties, because at the end of the path there is an enormous blessing from God, being a Christian means above all seeking the goods of heaven, and with these words he explained this spiritual truth:
"For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies." 2 Corinthians 5:1-3.
