The sadness I feel when I try to find an old piece of art only to discover the original artists either disactivated their account or deleted the art but at the same time having to acknowledge that the art was made by the artists and shouldn't it be ultimately up to them if they no longer want that art to exist on the Internet

Getting emotional about Wille seeing Simon sing for the first time.

How many times are Wille’s feelings and agency dismissed just in the first ten minutes? A decision was made to move him to Hillerska, he was completely excluded from the discussion, all his protests are promptly ignored, his anxiety about the situation is brushed off with a literal slap and he’s forced to speak to the nation and pretend that he’s okay with all of that. He doesn’t go down without a fight but his attempts are feeble. He’s had an entire system against him all his life and that system is also his family.

And then he starts at this school where he has no reason not to expect everyone to be complicit with that system (why should he?), and here comes this (cute) choir boy who’s so beautifully defiant, so unafraid to literally raise his voice to make himself be heard and respected. It’s all Wille has been trying to do and this boy does it with such grace and with such power, and so naturally I bet that for a moment it made Wille feel like he could do anything.

Of course he’s immediately smitten here, of course

this scott 3l rewatch it so so strange. i was right with my original notes, their relationship does not read nearly as scary from the scott pov and im really wondering why this is. My first theory was that it was an editing style thing or a background music thing or maybe the specific scenes that are missing but now that I’m really thinking about it I Dont Know

People like Bill Jr. got all kinds of things wrong about Scully but probably none moreso than thinking it was tragic that Mulder was dragging her along on some descent into madness, when actually the real tragedy was how few of the people she loved ever realized it wasn't a descent.

(It couldn't be bc 1. it's not madness and 2. she was already there.)

#she worked hard to mask it and clearly did a good job #Mulder's gift was he could meet her where she was #I think Maggie knew it I think that's why she liked him immediately and continued to despite all the tragedy that followed #setting aside the way he was right there with her clearly devastated and ready to go berserker on a whole hospital over her daughter #and the unspoken vote of confidence from Scully herself when they found out he was the one who witnessed her living will #'oh he sees through her too.
