im the poi2018 anon and I’m back for good unfortunately lmao. nowhere else hits like tumblr :( i will say tho seeing all the new ships has been fun (i was completely offline and not into tv while i got my other degree) there are a lot of than in even 2018 but none of them have the flavour and personality of poi at least to me. like my mutuals are all into the ncishawaii lesbian couple rn and I get it they’re cute but also i need my faves to be a little mean and demented (but convincing unlike the killing eve couple who was demented but hollow to me sacrilege ik lol) lmao not sure what that says about me but whatever. im gonna rewatch poi in the fall but im rereading the unofficial best poi fic sliding towards chaos to get my fix rn
scream. i enjoy killing eve (well not the entire show obviously) but i get what you mean i think dhshshshhs and listen. i haven't seen ncishawaii and i have some mutuals who are into it and i'm happy for everyone who enjoys it but cOULDN'T BE ME. there is something about that couple that makes me roll my eyes it somehow feels very cw?? i cannot put my finger on it. and they seem just happily together with some regular drama going on and i think cheating and idk that sounds boring to me. they're not unwell enough and i cannot imagine myself caring
have you seen yellowjackets? idk if it would be for you bc i think some of the humor and general vibe can be similar to killing eve (or orphan black if you watched it) but it's p much the first time since like 2018 that i see an actual fandom emerge out of a show mainly about women and there's a wide range of shipping possibilities if you missed that 2018 tumblr vibe
