If Webber was in scouts i get the really big feeling that they'd be in Cubs and so i've decided to put Walter in unity (no idea what #it's called in american scouts but he'd be too young for raiders) just so i could say that Walter is (not really bc hes not in scouts and i #t's an entire ceremony) Webber's godfather (entire scouts thing that i'm not going to explain)#Also. Webber's woggle (the piece that holds the neckerchief) is made of bone (they just found a bone lying around and thought it was good e #ough) ((common practice on scouts groups since the woggle changes depending on the person. The usual is a piece of rod)) ((that's Walter's)#Walter is doing the salute with three fingers because he's in unity and could be considered one of the biggest branches in scouts (unity #iders and rovers) meanwhile webber is only holding two fingers because they be in cubs (younger branches only salute with two) ((beavers an #cubs)). It's something about the oldest protects the youngest and since they're in different branches. I think it's neat.#ok thats my rant goodbye

It was Stomp Rocket Week at Beavers…

Scott had no doubt about how his would be decorated… possibly Virgil would have done a better job of colouring inside the lines but time is short… launching to do!

Scott supervised the launching of the Beavers’ rockets.

What do you mean? This seems a perfectly safe vantage point?

He’s Fine. One isn’t flying quite right though 🤔

Luckily the Beavers had 15 mins left to make adjustments to their rockets and Scott knew exactly what he needed to do…

Can I just say how helpful pioneering skills would be to borrowers, every home should have a small book about knots just lying about on the bottom shelf of your bookcase just in case

Remembrance Day takes place on the 11th month, on the 11th day, on the 11th hour - around the world, as millions of people remember when the Allies signed the armistice in 1918 and ended World War One - the anniversary is used to remember all the people who have died in wars - not just World War One.

Oscar is a Beaver and Trix is a Scout and they took part in the Remembrance Sunday Parade today - I won't add the video I did to the grid for people's privacy reasons.

After the conclusion of World War II, the British government, seeking to honour participants in both World Wars, officially replaced Armistice Day with the new Sunday observance, which was thereafter known as Remembrance Sunday. In 1956 the date was fixed as the second Sunday of the month.

People have celebrated the occasion every year following, commemorating the sacrifices made by millions of soldiers. There are ceremonies at war memorials, cenotaphs and churches throughout the country, as well as abroad. Members of the Royal Family and politicians attended memorial services.

The last two photos is of Oscars wreath using poppy's made from red cake cases and Winnies poppy cookie.

Lest We Forget traditionally accompanies tributes for fallen soldiers around this time of year and has become popular with people who commemorate World War One as a reminder something of this magnitude should never happen again.

"When you go home, tell them of us and say, ‘For your tomorrow, we gave our today’” is a military saying (popular on Memorial Day) that has been printed on many images. Authorship and the exact wording are both uncertain.
