I Meant It

I finally wrote an actual one shot for Buggy :)

Summary: You 'babysit' Buggy while he's only a head.

No use of y/n however reader is referred to gal and very feminine pet names (I normally write gender neutral but this was very self serving). I had to write this on my phone so if the format is different from my norm, that is why.

“I think his nose is cute.” A voice breaks out for the first time in the conversation, the other two slowly turning towards you in shock and judgement.

“I beg your pardon sweet thing?” Sanji is the first to break the moment of silence, you raise your shoulders at him.

“I don’t know, he's like. Okay, you know those cats who have a limb missing and they go to scratch with that limb and everyone’s like ‘awww’. That’s kinda how I think I am with him right now, look at him. He’s just a head, a little kitty who can’t scratch behind his ear and needs some help.”

“You seem to forget about the village he destroyed, the one that offered us the rest of their food after we saved them because of what him and his crew did.”

“Zoro, you out of everyone has no right to judge considering you took that random dude’s brother’s head.” You stare at the Buggy in front of us with a cloth in his mouth, watching this whole conversation about him go down.

“I do not need to be around this.” Zoro states before leaving, huffing to himself right before he goes out of ear shot.

“I never knew you out of everyone would be into the clown type but then again, all women are a mystery.” A laugh comes out and you shake your head at Sanji’s words before replying.

“I think I just like them to be outgoing.” You slowly and dramatically look Sanji up and down before connecting gazes with him.

Before he has the chance to respond, a loud bang erupts from a part of the ship which catches both of your attention. Sanji sighs before looking at me.

“Things can never be calm around here can they?” A smile appears on your face as you nod.

“You go check that out, I think Zoro has had enough of me today, I’ll stay here with him.” You cock your head to the side, pointing at Buggy. Sanji nods and begins to walk away.

“Be safe sweets, holler if you need anything.” He looks back to say before continuing on.

You look back at the clown, his eyes wide watching. Taking a few steps in his direction, nearing him before bending down to him.

“Don’t make me regret this.” You quietly say out before gently removing the gag in his mouth.

“Ahh toots, that feels so much better." He states while stretching his mouth and licking his lips.

“You have no idea how dry my mouth was getting, I was almost debating having a sip of sea water!” You roll my eyes before sitting beside the barrel he was on.

“I think that would not be beneficial cause then you’d have the opposite problem of having too much water.” You pause for a second before questioning. “Can you drown? I mean like now, as just a head? You have no lungs attached to you currently.”

“I’ve never tried, I would assume yes though.”

“Well, don’t do it then. I wouldn’t wanna have to be the one to save you, or maybe I’d send Sanji to do it for me.”

“That blondie would let me die, I’d be a lot better, mentally and physically, if it was you.” He winks at you.

“Mmm, I think anyone of us would do it begrudgingly. For Nami.” He huffs beside you, it was a little funny as just a head. You could imagine his body’s chest moving along with it.

“What is with you and that cook anyway? It’s like you two wanna jump each other, I say just get a room and do it for the sake of me and the crew.” A snort comes out at his words.

“Buggy, I don’t think Sanji is actually attracted to me. Yes, he is good looking. However, he flirts with every woman he sees. In front of me too. Ya know, you two kinda remind me of each other in that regard.”

“Oh darling, I would treat you so much better than he ever could.” His words are filled with honey, sweet and dripping. You look at him, face in a ‘really?’ gaze.

“I don’t know, he is French. And you know there is a kiss named after them.” He scoffs at the retort.

“My head detaches, do I have to say more?”

Your face drops in realization and your cheeks begin to heat up at his words.

“Slut.” The word flew out of your mouth before you could process it. He sits expressionless before breaking into laughter. Your hand raises to your forehead, half covering your face as you laugh.

“I never admitted this but I think I like spending time with you more than Zoro.”

“I don’t know, it’s hard to compare his death threats to your sugary laugh.” He flirts again,

You shake your head at his faux forwardness.

“If you do that again I’m going to flick your ear I swear to god.” He grins ear to ear like a cat luring in its prey, his face then slowly rests like he was actually thinking for once.

“Earlier, you called my nose cute.”

“Yes I did.”

“Did you actually mean it or were you poking fun like the others?” I glance at him, his tone serious and his eyes almost pleading.

“I meant it.” It’s silent, for the first time ever since you've met Buggy. It seems he takes a breath before speaking up.

"You know, you'd be a good second in command. I could pay you handsomely, far more than these schmucks are."

"They aren't really paying me." His eyes bulge out a bit at the answer.

"You won't realize it yet, considering how they have treated you however," You pause, choosing your words carefully. "They are the closest thing to family I have gotten in forever, meanwhile your crew feared you. That is all the swaying I need."

"Its cause that Sanji is taller than me isn't it?" You scoff and crack up at his wit. Laughing to the point of your shoulders visibly shaking.

"Oh yes, that is absolutely it." You respond teasing, laughter still in your voice. He shakes his head in disappointment. The pair of you continue to stare out as the sun goes down over the horizon, the warm orange creeping into an umber and then its usual royal blue. The stars peering down at the pair.

"I think it might be time to head in." You say out loud, mostly to yourself while your hands rub over your arms to retain some heat. You could hear the buzzing begin of the mosquitos.

"What doll, can't handle a little breeze?" You shake your head, you could begin to feel the tip of your fingers cool.

"I've never been good with night time on the water." Buggy sighs beside me as I sit up.

"Let's head in then." He looks up at you, a small smile on his face. You pick him up, avoiding uncomfortable placement of your hands or a tight grip. His skin was warmer then expected, that was the stereotype though. The men being hot blood and bodied creatures.

"Where am I staying tonight? Barrel, in a window, random box?"

"I think you're gonna stay with me." Buggy's eyebrows furrow in confusion. You begin to walk quickly to your small corner of the ship, descending down a small flight of stairs. The blue haired head clutched in your arms almost like the way you'd hold a newborn.

The blue cot you were well acquainted with was already strung up, ready for you to rest in. You put Buggy up there in it before talking up to him.

"I'm changing so don't try anything okay?" The jester was already too shocked and flustered to speak. Making a mental promise to himself not to break your trust.

You take a bit of time before he sees your arms come over the side and lift yourself into the hammock.

You settle yourself, pulling up the blanket that laid at the end over mostly you.

There's a few thuds down the stairs before Sanji appears before you both.

"Ahh, just the gal I was looking for. How did babysitting go?" He asks, putting an arm over the side of the bed. Standing on a piece of board under you to boost himself up.

"Still here cook boy." Buggy's voice bellows out, you smile at the cook while he gives you a confused glance.

"I got worried that the mosquitos will affect his brain and stuff." You put on your best innocent smile and Sanji shakes his head.

"You are the most mad pirate I think I've ever laid my eyes on." He gets a shrugged shoulders and rolled eyes back.

"So, what was it that happened earlier?" You lean up to peer over the side at him. His face was always a comfort even when it felt the most safe.

"Apparently Usopp knocked something over and then Luffy couldn't remember if it was Nami's or something else. You know him, if its not food related then he's not fully paying attention." You nod, agreeing with the blond. Sanji leans in close to you, looking over your shoulder at the head eavesdropping.

"Are you going to be okay with him? Cause you know I can very much find a different spot for him." He says in a hushed tone to you, a small smile appears on your face.

"I'll be okay Sanji, he's just a head. The most he could do is bite me and I think I'd wake up before he could cause real damage. However, if anything goes sour. You will be the first one I call to come help." You place your hand on his shoulder, rubbing it quickly before putting it back under the blanket. Sanji nods at you before he steps down.

"Well sweet, you have a goodnight. Don't dream of me too much okay?" You wave to him and wish him a good night.

"God he's annoying." Buggy says as you cuddle into your bed, eyes closed in a peaceful manner.

"Just look at it like this, you're in my bed. He's not." That shuts him up fast, you peek an eye open at him. He seems speechless and you let out a quiet giggle.

"Please do tell me if you snore."

"I should be saying that to you, you can roll over or move. I'm just stuck here."

You let out a mhmm, the luring sleepiness now very present in your body and brain. Buggy stares at you, blanket tucked up to your chin and face relaxed.

He laid there and listened to you breathe for a bit. Making sure you were well into your slumber before muttering out.

"Sleep well love."

Since the Obey Me brothers are so attached to their MC and every single one of them have a animal form, why not turn into that animal and sneak out MC when they're at their school / work?

Mammon

That man has it easy, since he can turn into a crow that couldn't suppose any big danger since he can fly and more. Mammon could easily come through your classroom window one day, scaring everyone away in the process, and bring you whatever silly thing he got along the way. Did you know that crows, like parrots, can imitate human sounds? Well now you know Mammon even as a crow would speak to you.

— Look human! I found Lucifer's credit card, let's hang out after ya class / shift!

— Mammon, get the hell out of here.

The rest of the day he refuses to leave and remains either on your head or on your shoulder, occasionally asking for cuddles.

Leviathan

Now, now, Levi has things a little more complicated, since he's a snake so the only way for him to visit you in his animal form would be to travel through the water pipes to get to you, so imagine one day you minding your own business and hearing a terrified scream followed by another scream saying "A snake!"... What are the chances that a snake will enter the building? In any case, you know without proof or doubt that it's Levi.

— Don't hurt him! He's my... pet? Yes!

To avoid problems with your class / workmates, you decide to just apologize and get as far away as you can just to "scold" Levi for appearing like that out of nowhere, his answer? Get inside your clothes and spend all day with you hissing and moving when he's uncomfortable.

Satan

Yeah no, there's no way he's going to turn into a freaking unicorn, so he very wisely decides to be a cat! Of course! Very agilely he manages to follow you from home to your school / work without being discovered, he even successfully infiltrates inside the establishment! You only realize his preference when you hear many people try to call him saying "kitty!", then you turn around and as if it were a beautiful movie like reunion, Satan runs towards you and jumps on you only for you to catch him and start to purr.

— MC! I didn't know you had a cat!

— Me neither...

— What?

Satan is a micro celebrity around your class / workmates, everyone takes pictures of him and petting him... obviously failing in this, he is a surly cat that only allows and demands that you pet him and give him your full attention.

Asmodeus

Another one that wouldn't turn into his designated animal is obviously Asmo because "scorpions aren't cute enough" so what does he choose? Simple, a cute lop-eared bunny. Unlike the others, he tells you that he will go with you and gives you a nice bag to carry him in it.

— Your bunny is such a cutie! I love him.

— Sure, just... don't look at him in his eyes for too long... I don't want you to get charmed.

Unlike Satan, Asmo does enjoy the attention he receives and even, in his bunny way, asks you to change his clothes and does tricks! So all day he tries to get everyone's attention and when your teacher / supervisor tries to reprimand you for having him, he just charms them.

Beelzebub & Belphegor

Beel is a fly and Belphie is a cow and, although naturally they could be together in their animal form, I don't think it would be very convenient to take a sleepy cow and a hungry fly with you, so they are both a pair of cute ferrets. The way to get to you is by getting inside your backpack without you noticing, you discover them when you go to look for a snack to eat and you realize that there are only 2 furballs in the pocket, one sleeping and the other eating what was left of the snack.

— Awww Beel! That was my snack!

— Eek!

— Come here you both.

The rest of the day they spend in your pockets and table sleeping together or playing with each other, from time to time Beel will ask you for food nibbling your finger so get ready to spend money.

Lucifer

Lucifer doesn't care sneaking into your school work in his human form so why would he be using his animal form? ... I don't know, the planets aligned or something, besides, the only reason he would meddle in your day would be because his brothers are doing something with you that he does not particularly like. Don't be surprised if you're with one of the brothers (pets) and out of nowhere a black peacock shows up ready to attack.

— MC is that... a peacock !?

— No.... that's the devil himself.

Luci would not stay the whole day with you because he's a very busy man, but if you ask him, he could open his train (tail) to impress your class / workmates. At the end of the day, as always, he will pick you up in his human form and by car, he hates it when you go home alone.

stares at you and the cat in your arms with great scepticism as you beam up at him. you're looking after the cat for your friend while she's away for a couple of days, and seungcheol is very reluctant to call the cat cute for that entire time. he's loyal to kkuma and dogs, you know? does grudgingly admit that he's "not a bad cat" the day you're driving to drop the cat off to your friend. definitely complains about how much hair the cat shed tho

"oh, cool, a dog. did you pick him up off the sidewalk?" unbothered tbh. at least, he pretends to be, but he's then cooing all over the dog that you brought into the house. feeds the dog treats literally every five seconds, subsequently has him in love with him. is offended when you ask him to take the dog on the walk in the evening tho, bc wdym dogs need exercise???? he doesn't need exercise come on can't you take the dog on a walk instead?

the most adorable being he's ever seen is sitting in his room awww!!! oh and you're there too, he supposes. is shocked but mostly just vv soft when he sees you playing with a cute rabbit on his bed bc you'd bought it for your little niece and it had arrived early. pets the bunny for hours, fingers running through the soft fur, and manages to make the rabbit so comfortable in his arms that it falls asleep and just. cannot be woken no matter what you do

junhui

almost steps on the tortoise in his absentmindedness until you scream at him to look where he's going. then he's screaming too bc why is there a tortoise in the house?????? watches it with great awe as it walks very slowly around the house. tries to imitate the way it chews the lettuce leaves. asks how tortoise are able to do the deed with a shell on their back, and promptly watches several nature documentaries to find the answer

hoshi

the snake is out of control when he comes home, and as he sees you desperately trying to untangle the thick green thing from around their curtain pole, he screams and promptly backs out of the room. is shaking with terror the entire three days you're pet sitting the snake for your friend, despite the fact that you don't let the snake out of its glass box for the rest of the time it's here after that initial incident. tells you very seriously that you need to warn him of these things beforehand unless you want him to have a heart attack and die

wonwoo

"oh, when did we get a cat?" is totally chill. loves the adorable kitty that you've brought home for a couple of days to pet sit, bonds with it almost immediately. when the cat meows, he responds back like he knows exactly what the cat is saying to him. by the time your friend gets back, the cat is essentially refusing to part from wonwoo and is literally digging her claws into wonwoo's sweater in an attempt to not leave him.

woozi

takes one look at the hedgehog that's temporarily taking up space in the corner of your room, laughs, and says it's basically the animal form of him. thinks the prickly and adorable little animal is rlly cute, but he's not really home enough to fully be able to spend time with it. takes a couple of pics and sends them to soonyoung tho, pretending that it's a deadly porcupine because honestly, hoshi probably would probably genuinely believe anything he said

minghao

"we're not keeping a skunk in the house." "hao, she's not a skunk!" "it has a weird tail and striped markings like a skunk, ergo, it's a skunk." "no!!" is not the most pleased when he comes home to you grinning at him, a ferret sitting on the top of your head. is slightly placated when you tell him you're just taking care of her for a friend who's away. will not touch the ferret, looks over in slight disgust and mild wonder as you play with the animal running up and down your arm. won't let you actually get a pet ferret tho.

mingyu

there's a puppy in his apartment omg omg omg!!!! is excited for all of five minutes before he like "hey >:(( you're not replacing me with an actual pup are you??". still gets kinda sad when you tell him you're just pet sitting tho. bonds with the pup so well, is well on the way to replacing your friend as the puppy's actual owner lmao. takes the pup out with him when he goes for a morning run, and is actually really good n diligent at picking up the poop when the dog does its business on the street

dokyeom

he is enamoured oh god. you're not gonna be able to talk to your bf for a good hour bc he's not even gonna notice you're there. is totally fine with pet sitting your friend's dog for a week, and is utterly delighted to find out that the pup knows a few simple tricks. spends hours telling the puppy to roll over and sit and hold out its hand and by the end of it, both the pup and dokyeom are giddy with happiness. nearly cries when you have to say goodbye to the pup, asks your friend if he can pop by to say hi to his new friend sometimes

seungkwan

you adopted a dog without him?????? he literally already owns a dog why would you want to get another one. nods in understanding when you tell him you're pet sitting, pulls up a feeding and walking rota to make sure that the dog has The Best time while staying with you two. lowkey gets really sassy when the dog starts making high pitched barking noises at him for no reason, seems to communicate with the dog crazy well

he stands there confused at the sudden appearance of a fish tank in your living room for a good few minutes. turns out, your uncle is getting his new one fitted at home, but until he can get it fully prepped he needs someone to look after the fish, and that someone had been you. stares in fascination at the fish for a good hour that evening, mesmerised by them moving around. you laugh at him and call him a cat but he can't even deny it because the fish are just so fascinating to look at and honestly, he feels like a cat himself

chan

uhhhh honestly he's really not sure how he should react when he comes home to you staring at a glass box full with a bunch of twigs. it takes him a while to see the stick insect, thinks that maybe he should get his eyes checked out because ten minutes really is too long. it doesn't rlly bother him tbh. does think it's a little frustrating that it's taking him so long to see the insect. double checks and triple checks with you that there's actually an insect in that box and you aren't just messing with him.

Fluffcember #20 (SOLDIER boys + Reno x reader)

Owning a cat headcannons

♡Sephiroth♡

-Takes a little while (think 4-5 months) for him to learn to tolerate the cat, and nearly double that time for him to accept it as part of his life, which is understandable, considering that he's practically a cat himself.

-He'll let you pick the first name, but he chooses the surname (yes, your cat has a surname), and it's something remarkably humanoid. Imagine explaining to the vet that your cat's name is Sparklepaws Pembleton-Clark.

-Once he gets used to the feline, he'll start seeing it as his sibling. He will have full on conversations with the cat, ones that are very serious and not at all baby talk. When the cat wants to eat, a conversation like this might take place:

"Good morning/afternoon/evening, Pembleton-Clark, what would you prefer for your meal today?"

"Meow."

"Ah, cat food, a fine choice. Please be seated and I shall deliver your food presently."

"Meow."

"You're very welcome. Have you read the paper, by the way? I heard there was a sale on feline litter at the local supermarket."

-Will play with the cat and tickle it; occasionally can be spotted on the couch with the fluffy fur-baby in his lap, stroking and petting it while watching TV or reading.

-Basically, the pet is family, once he gets used to it.

◇Genesis◇

-Loves the cat the minute you bring it home. He'll pick it up and carry it around, cooing at it like it's a baby.

"Awwwww, who's a good little fluffy snookums? You are! Yes, you are! My pretty little puffy fluffle--awww so cute. Soooo cute."

-INSISTS upon naming it; your cat is officially called Her Divine Majesty Emperess Gen-Gen II, and there is nothing you can do to change that.

-Pampers the cat, giving it baths every month and grooming it as well as keeping its claws trimmed and it's fur nice and shiny.

-Sometimes he even ties it's fur up into little pigtails and decorates it with hairclips before taking pictures of it and sending them to you.

-Coddles the cat, spoiling and playing with it whenever he can. He sees your pet as an extension of himself, and therefore treats it the way he wants to be treated. (Lavishly)

-Adores the cat and always will, just as he adores you.

♧Angeal♧

-Angeal is the embodiment of the dad who says "We're not getting a cat" and then proceeds to adore and spoil the cat like a young child. He was against getting a pet, but then saw the fluffy little thing you pointed to and just caved.

-Lets you name it because he doesn't care what it's called. Unless you named it after yourself. Then he can't even look at it without tearing up.

-Is a true tsundere towards that cat, always giving it the side eye; regarding it with cold professionalism. But deep down, he loves that furry thing and will definitely let it sleep on the bed with him.

-Buys it toys and those little tree jungle gym things, as well as treats. As stated before, he keeps a cold front but truly adores that kitty.

-Will let it sit in his lap while he does paperwork, and sometimes even brings it to Shinra with him. (everyone gets jealous and always wants to pet it)

-All in all, loves that furry cutie, even when it scratches up the furniture and tears up his socks.

☆Reno ☆

-He and the cat eyed each other at the pet shop for 10 full minutes before he agreed to taking it home. Reno has had experience with cats, having owned one himself before, and knows exactly what kind of trouble they are.

-Very suspicious of the cat for the first several weeks but soon eases into its company, once he's sure it won't tear up his stuff. He soon goes from uncomfortable and jittery to relaxed and loving.

-He'll pet the cat, feed the cat, play with the cat, and even eat with the cat. He'll literally have a cat food bowl and a highchair set up so the cat can eat at the table like a human. It's the most adorable thing ever.

-Once he and the cat have bonded enough, he decides to make it his partner in crime. He'll try to train it by giving it treats whenever it knocks over a specific object, except the cat gets the wrong idea and thinks it'll get a treat whenever it knocks stuff over, so Reno has essentially turned your cat into a furry wrecking ball.

-Has decided to name your cat Sir-Smashes-A-Lot in light of this behavior. A cute name for a cute (but mischevious) cat.

-Sometimes he'll use a pet-friendly fur dye and dye Sir-Smashes-A-Lot's fur to match his. You might come home to find both your boyfriend and pet sporting bright green locks of fur/hair.

Since it’ll be Halloween next month, what do you think Sukuna and Yuji would be Halloween. I bet the reader would have to convince Sukuna to even dress up 🤣

💜 Yuuji goes as a tiger ;) He looks SO cute!!

The little kids who are too shy for successful trick or treating are all super happy that big, strong Yuuji is there to knock even on the scariest-looking houses and convince even the grumpiest people to hand out some candy.

And you let your boyfie pull you along, laughing all the time while sweet Yuuji holds your hand and grins at you, so happy that he can help those kids and even get some candy too! Such a cute and strong tiger.

Yuuji purrs like a cat when you scratch his undercut and pull him into a kiss that tastes sweet like candy. And you can always tug down the zipper of his costume and slip your hands inside to feel his pecs. Makes the tiger purr even louder ;)

💜 Modern boyfie Sukuna is like, "Why would I dress up? People are scared of me without me wearing a costume."

"Who says you have to dress up as something scary, baby? I mean... you are intimidating every day, so why not be cute on Halloween, hm? "

And since he cannot say no to you, he lets you convince him that he at least wears some cat ears. You end up buying Hello Kitty clothes for him and cute pink ears, and you paint his nails with glittery pink nail polish while he smirks at you and shakes his head in amusement,

"You know, princess, anyone else would get true cat behavior from me if they tried painting my nails pink. Biting and scratching and hissing and everything."

"Awww, but what if I like it when you bite a little, Kuna? Please don't hold back with your true cat nature."

💜 If modern boyfie Kuna has to pick a costume himself, he will go as the King of Curses ;) He truly looks impressive in that white kimono and the skull he carries in one large hand.

He insists on playing his role correctly, so everyone has to refer to him as Sukuna-sama and treat him like a King. Of course, he is dramatic, but it fits him. And you quite like it when he pulls you on his lap and tells you that it is your throne ;)

"The King needs his Queen. Don't you dare leave my side. I didn't even want to go to this ridiculous party. Look at all those fools."

"For someone who claims to hate all of this, you seem to have lots of fun acting like the King, darling."

Awww congrats on the new kitties!! This will be a fun one to write 🤭

Gyutaro is really surprised at first to learn about how many cats you have. But it makes sense, you are a really kind and loving person so he can see why you'd adopt some cute animals. It doesn't mean he likes it though. He didn't grow up with pets so he has a hard time understanding the appeal. Not to mention he's a demon so he kind of views them as food unfortunately. Though he would never hurt a pet, it's an instinctual thing.

When you invite him to your place he will always say, "Let's go to my place instead," just because he wants to avoid the cats.

Of course he can't avoid it completely though, especially once you start dating. He will try to avoid the cats as much as possible when he comes over. But one night, he's sitting on your couch waiting for you to come out of the shower, and one of your cats jumps up on his lap and starts purring.

He will be in utter shock, staring at it with wide eyes unable to believe that a small animal would willingly come up to a monster like him. Maybe this cat isn't so different from you.

After that event he's going to have a soft spot for your cats. He'll claim that he doesn't care about them, but behind your back he will cuddle them, give them treats, and baby talk to them.

𝐏𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐮

Gyutaro is a pet himself, so he may feel a bit of jealousy towards your cats. When you first adopt him and he's terrified of you and everything around him, seeing that your cats trust you will help him learn that you aren't a threat. They willingly go up to you and you are always so sweet and gentle towards them, he wants that too.

Once he gets more comfortable with you he will make an effort to bond with your cats too. And they will warm up to him a lot quicker than with humans. He's always very gentle and loving towards them.

Though one day you did find him getting into the cat treats so now you have to keep an eye on him. He ate the entire bag, saying they smelt so delicious he couldn't help himself. He felt guilty afterwards though and apologized to each of your cats.

this is how a beach episode would play out in my head - kunikida, dazai, and atsushi focus

kunikida: are you not gonna go swimming dazai?

dazai: nope! i think today im just going to relax in the sand! maybe i'll try and drown myself later tho... what about you?

kunikida: im not swimming either

dazai: awww why not

kunikida: for some reason i dont feel safe getting in the ocean w/ u here

dazai, snickering: aww~ how could you say that~ im so hurt

atsushi, in the background, running towards them full speed, forgetting how fast he is, excited to go to the beach and go swimming for the first time (all the times he has had to go rescue dazai do not count), happily jumping towards them, thinking theyll be able to catch him

kunikida: anyway, i think i'll try to stay as dry as-

atsushi jumping onto kunikida and dazai, accidentally causing them all to fall forward and into the water

kunikida:

dazai: atsushi-kun...

atsushi, still grinning, happily, tail wagging: isnt this great dazai-san kunikida-san!! the ocean!! we're swimming!!!

kunikida: no matter how excited you are, pushing us like that...

atsushi, flushing a little but still too excited to be fully embarrassed: ahhh sorry about that!! i didn't mean to! i was just going to go in for a... well i mean i've never been swimming before not really and i was rlly glad u suggested coming here to the agency and i wanted to um well u know..

If anyone asks, Kim denies the unsubstantiated claim that he is, indeed, like a cat.

Chay claims the evidence is stacked against him. But cat ears and the weird selfies that Chay makes him pose for (hands up, nose scrunched) hardly hold up. Not to mention Chay’s bias.

Kim scowls while looking out the window.

The comparison started with Chay, of course.

“Awww,” Chay cooed, at a family gathering, when Kim perched himself onto one of the garden chairs. Kim ignored him, turning away from the lunch that was served and opting to, instead, watch Tankhun and Arm race remote controlled trucks. Kim’s eyes carefully followed the twisting racetrack. “So cute.”

“Not cute,” Tankhun complained. “Getting his dirty shoes on the cushions. Ridiculous. Who sits like that?!”

“He’s like a cat.”

Kim snapped his head up. “What?”

“You’re like a little cat!”

“No, I’m not-”

“Yes! Exactly!” Tankhun screeched his approval. “Nosy, sneaky, arrogant little kitty! I see it!”

And though Kim has begged, the nickname stuck. And Chay has no intention of stopping.

Kim doesn’t see it. So what if he likes to crouch on chairs? Or that his schedule consists of 10-14 hours of sleep? Being a popstar and mafia princeling is backbreaking work.

Kim also doesn’t see any sign of Chay’s car pulling up.

Kim squints through the blinds. Where is Chay? He was supposed to be home twenty minutes ago.

He paces, staring at the front door before parking himself back on the couch and flipping through TV channels. He lands on the Discovery Channel; Kim then sits still for a grand total of two minutes before he leaps up and decides to mess around with a guitar. He plucks one from its stand, sits back on the couch, and begins to play a familiar tune.

But it only occupies his mind for a moment.

Kim sighs in defeat, putting the guitar down and flopping belly side down on the couch, his arm dangling off the side. The TV blares something about local birds.

Maybe Chay just forgot about their plans. Or about him.

Kim tries not to become a twisted jealous mess when Chay hangs out with the others. He’s just a little clingy, especially after they made up.

And Kim’s not dramatic. But if Chay doesn’t come home right this moment, he’s going to start throwing-

The door knob begins to turn.

Kim sits up at the edge of the sofa. He pretends to be very interested in his nails when Chay walks through the front door.

“I’m home,” Chay calls out.

Kim stays on the couch, ignoring him.

“Kim?” Chay enters the living room. “There you are.”

Kim huffs, but goes back to watching whatever’s on TV.

“Aw, are you mad at me?”

Kim stays silent, but gives Chay a healthy dose of side eye.

“I think someone missed me,” Chay muses. He sets down his bag and reaches for Kim’s head. Kim closes his eyes as soon as Chay starts scratching, but he refuses to give in that easily.

“Come on, Kim,” Chay whispers. “There was traffic.”

No answer. But Kim does lean in slightly to Chay’s hand. Damn, that feels good.

“Whatever,” Kim retorts. The irritation he held against his boyfriend melts away with each pet, much to his dismay.

“Put your head in my lap,” Chay murmurs. “Let me comb your hair.”

Score!

Kim keeps his displeasure plastered on his face, but curls up on the couch so that his head is comfortably in Chay’s lap.

“Such a good kitty. My cute little kitty.”

Kim hums. He doesn’t see it.

Damon- Receiving a gift from MC would make him so happy. He would treasure it and pretty much carry it with him everywhere.

DG- He likes receiving gifts so he would gladly accept MC's gift. And seeing it's his favorite animal you can clearly see that he loves it.

Rasmus- He would be very surprised. Since he have been jerk to MC, he has never expected to get a gift from them but he would take the gift. He likes it but since it's Rasmus he doesn't really show it or at least he tries to hide it.

youve been living with alastor for a couple weeks now as his servent and life has been shit he's always petting you even when you tell him to stop today you were laying done on the old couch when he comes home Alastor is fiddling with a pocket radio as he walks through the door "Heeeello, hello, hello!" he notices you "Oh, there you are, are you feeling a bit catatonic today, eh?" he chuckles "Come on, up you get" you grumple and get up

"awww, such a grumpy lady" he chuckles "you must be hungry, eh? I've got some delectable salmon for you" he sets up you food and sits down, petting you " you grumple again "I don't even like salmon" you say annoyed he chuckles slightly "what? you'd rather eat rat, ?" you sigh and say "no" he smiles even more and says "then you must eat your fish" you eat your fish the taste is okay not your favorite but tolerable he watches, grinning "good kitty" you get a little angry "Im not your kitty"" he chuckles oh, but yes you are" he starts petting you very affectionately "remember I own you" when he said that your ears droop and you look scared he doesn't notice, but continues petting"you're such a pretty kitty" he chuckles you know, I was thinking I should get a collar for you" he giggle again "I'll put it on you, would you like that? eh? good kitty?" he pauses and realizes you look scared at the mention of a collar "What's the matter? Don't you like collars?" he starts rubbing your head affectionately "don't worry, I'll be the only one with a key to it" you grumble a little "stop treating me like a pet" you say meekly still scared of him "But you are my pet, remember?" he grins "I own you, after all" suddenly a green chain appears around your neck not the one that he used before but the same material "There we go. Nice and secure" he pulls the chain gently and it becomes tighter "what do you think? do you like it?" he continues rubbing your head you whimper gently he grins "oh, poor baby cat" "is it a bit tight?" he pulls again, making it a bit tighter you start whimpering even louder "p-p-please stop" alastors grin gets even wider in pure sadism "oh come on, don't be like that" he keeps pulling the collar "just a little more, just a little tighter, just a little more" your now desperate for him to stop "PLEASE STOP ILL BE GOOD" you loudly beg "oh, is it hurting you, my poor kitty?" he grins "just relax, you're ok" he continues pulling a little bit looser, before pulling a lot tighter he rubs your head, grinning down at you "don't worry, you'll get used to it soon" You start crying for mercy he stops pulling and starts stroking your head "Aww, don't cry dear" he strokes and rubs you "You'll get used to the collar soon enough, I'm sure" he chuckles "I knew that would work, good kitty" the pain and squeezing gets worse and worse all of your breaths are strained and your getting just enough air to be conscious but not enough to be comfortable "don't worry, I won't pull it anymore, if you behave. but I'll still leave it on, eh?" alastor says that same horrifying grin on his face you were delighted and gasped for air before saying "t-thank you sir" he chuckles "you really are so precious when you beg" he continues petting you, now stroking your cheek and under your chin "such a good kitty" he grins widely and pulls slightly on the chain, pulling you closer to him and strokes your jaw he looks deep into your eyes "such pretty eyes you have" you resonond with a simple "thank you" the chuckles "you're welcome, pretty kitty" he strokes down your cheek, now looking at your neck "oh yes, I forgot I have to put a tag on that" he smiles "don't be freighted my dear" he grabs a tag "stand still for a second" he puts it on your collar and then pulls the chain a bit tighter as he clips it in place, stroking your face as the collar is tight against your neck "there we go, there's a beautiful kitty" you slowy are starting to accept your fate so you don't whimper or hiss or resist when he puts it on he pats your head softly "such a good sweet kitty aren't you such a dear" he stops patting your head and strokes your hair down your face and then leans back to look at the tag on your collar "Hm. What should I put as your name?" "I know!" He grins playfully you respond "my name is Y/N" alastor giggle s

"Y/n? What an odd name not very feline " he grins playfully "How about I name you something cute?" he grins, a mischievous glint in his eyes "Like perhaps a cute, simple, name, like Mittens or something?" you whimper in defeat and say "ok" alastor grins even wider "good. i have a lot of hair clips/pins/accessories and i'm handing them out to the ikevamp suitors while i wait for a mystic messenger chatroom RAHHHHH

i’d give napoleon my dark blue rose bobby pins. i think they suit him but also im thinking they might blend into his hair too much OOPS. maybe the small white rose hair clip too? it matches his hair and i think he’d look pretty C:

mozart gets my light pink bow no question. i think it would look pretty in his hair but idk how it would work with his eyes since they're so BAM. but i should stop overthinking bc this isn't about MATCHING this is just me being cute. but yes i think mozart should put his hair up and put a little bow in there. i will do it for him.

leonardo gets my little hand painted purple & black pins. also i want to put his hair in a stupid ponytail. i think it would be pretty actually. oh btw he would totally fall asleep if i played with his hair im just saying. i feel like that's canon.

if arthur wouldn't make it WEIRD i’d give him my baby blue rose pin and one of my hand painted yellow hair pins. i think they’d look pretty in his hair C: he has shorter hair so unfortunately i can't give him my big floral hair clip BUT. i’d like to think those two pins are enough.

vincent gets my other hand painted yellow hair pin and the blue/yellow one as well. they came in a set of three and they were so van gogh coded i couldn’t resist. i would give him my white bow simply because he deserves everything soft and lovely in his life. also my light pink rose pin. i adore him.

theodorus gets my silly little pink ribbon hair clip simply because i think it would be so goofy on him. he’s intimidating!! he’s a big tough man!! and then there’s a bundle of pink ribbons in his hair awww :((( it’d be so cute cmon!!

ISAAC MY BABYGIRL!!! I BOUGHT AN APPLE HAIR CLIP JUST FOR HIM but as much as i want to give that one to him i wouldn’t dare. i will give it to him in secret so arthur and dazai don't tease him. aside from that, i’d give him my pink chrysanthemum and pink lily hair pins. also i have a really frilly pink hair clip that i don't even know how to describe,,, but he gets that one too because he’s perfect.

jean gets my dark blue hair painted hairclip and my bedazzled flower hair pin because he needs some shine in his life. ALSO i have a little hair bow with a kitty cat pattern and it’s cute. plus it single handed cured my ailments when i found it two years ago so yea. it’s adorable. take it jean.

dazai gets my purple flower hair clips. they’re both roses and i didn't realize i had two so i wore them over and over not realizing they were the same pin until i had them both in my hands and were staring at them like o.o so yea. confusing!! vexing!! just like dazai.

i can finally remember how to spell comte!! HE GETS MY LEMON HAIR CLIP. i think it’d be funny. my only hangup is if i tried to give him something i’m worried he’d be like “omg” and take me shopping and then we’d buy like fifty stores worth or hair accessories.

i have a really classy silvery hair clip i think would really suit sebastian!! based on the routes i’ve played he always seems to care deeply for the mc and i think he’d treasure it. which is nice because it's really pretty :D

shakespeare gets my dusty pink rose pin, and my giant ass purple flower pin. i don't even know what flower it is it's just bigger than the rest of them and that's dramatic as hell!! good for him!! also he gets my red flower pin from my childhood that has a center made of little bead things that are very Texture.

VLAD GETS MY TWO STRAWBERRY HAIR CLIPS. one can be used to hold his hair back and the other one is a little bow with a strawberry charm in the center. he likes strawberries and i don't know much about him anyway. ALSO HE GETS MY RED ROSE HAIR PIN. he’s very red and it suits him!!

i have a gorgeous silver butterfly hair clip that i think would look really nice on faust. i would also give him my grape charm hair bow for hilarity's sake. but really, the butterfly one would look stunning in his hair. actually i can’t get that mental image out of my head now.

charles is so cute. i would give him one of my floofy hair clips that i don't even know how to describe and my cherry hair clip. also my other dusty pink flower hair pin. i feel like he’d cry though :(( like darling ACCEPT MY AFFECTION YOU ARE SO ADORABLE.

i've been thinking... everyone assuming that dew has gone kitty because he's gone all quiet and he's curled in on himself, but he's actually age regressed

it made more sense in my head, i swear, haha !

AWWW YEAH!! i love this idea so much!! this is incredibly rambly and not meant to be like, actual writing but yeah

they're all watching a documentary together and Dew curled up next to Rain and hid his face in his side about halfway through and hasn't said a word since. Rain noticed him pull out little mousey and hold it to his cheek. he runs his hand through Dew's hair and whispers "hey kitty you ok?"

but instead of a meow or chirp he hears a small muffled voice say "'m'not a kitty, Rainy?" When he pulls back to look up at Rain he has the most adorable scrunched up confused face.

it takes a second for it to click in Rain's head what's actually happening but when he realises he boops his nose to make him smile "oh im sorry little one. you ok? you feeling hungry or thirsty?"

again Dew scrunches up his face to think about it but replies "yeah.. firs'y. cup p'eeease?"

Rain smiles the biggest smile and says "of course i can get your cup. do you want juice? or just water?"

"apple joos!!" Dew makes the cutest little grabby hands towards Rain at that point.

"okay you just sit here with Mounty while i go get your juice. I'll be right back." and he gives him a little kiss on the forehead.

"'kay Rainy." Dew giggles at the kiss and Mountain gently pulls him onto his lap to snuggle and watch the documantary together whilst Rain's in the kitchen. luckily its one about the ocean so Dew still enjoys it when little. he points to a shark on screen at one point and says "Mounty tha's Rainy. tha's the Rainy shark!"

Rain comes back with his sippy cup he uses when he's little (its blue with orange cats on it) and they all snuggle up together. Dew falls asleep before it finishes, rubbbing his eyes yawning and holding onto Rain so tight, and they decide to just have a ghoul pile that night.

Peppino: Oh... Oh my god... How precious! There are tears in his eyes. A soft, gentle cat is on his lap purring. What a pure, amazing feeling. A huge smile grows on his face. Gustavo! Get the camera!

Gustavo: Ohhhh, my gosh, ooooh, how cute. He's going to go into cardiac arrest. Oh, how he loves cats. What a happy little kitty. He pets it on the head and gives it a little smooch. Uh oh... Brick saw, and he's incredibly jealous. It's okay, Brick! There's plenty of Gustavo love to go around.

Mr. Stick: Aaaaaaaaaaa! He loves cats so much. The little purrs are so cleansing for his soul. How sweet is it? Such an innocent little creature. So warm and so soft. You stay there, little kitty, he won't wake you up.

Pepperman: Why... Why is it growling at him? He's a little scared. Is it gonna bite him? Purring? What's "purring"? Oh... Oh my god... How CUTE! What a wonderful way to express joy. He's going to try and paint the cat.

The Vigilante: "Awww, kitty! Who's a nice kitty? You's a nice kitty!" He rubs it's cheeks and baby talks gibberish to it. It starts to lick him a little. He'll allow it, but only for a little bit.

The Noise: He has the biggest smile on his face. A kitty is laying in his lap and purring. Oooooh, it's so adorable! He pets it, and it purrs even louder. Happy cat, happy rat.

Noisette: "Oh my gosh, a kitten! Awww, kitty purr purr!" She loves it! She wants a cat soooo bad! She savors every bit of this moment and pets it.

Fake Peppino: Omg! Is purr purr! He can purr purr, too! They purr together as he snuggles up to it. They end up taking a long, comfortable nap.

Pizzahead: Kitty!!!! How cute!! It's purring!! Do you wanna lick him cause he tastes like cheese? Go for it! He giggles as the tongue tickles his arm. Okay, that's enough. They then cuddle up. He pretends he's a super villain with a cat.

Pillar John: Oh... Ooh... There's a tear in his eye as he smiles brightly. What a cute little thing. It's purring, and he hasn't even pet it yet! How sweet. What a soul healing experience. He loves this little cat.

Gerome: Wow... He loves this cat. It's so nice to pet such a soft and gentle thing in this tower of hideous horrors. Maybe life isn't so bad. Where's John? He would LOVE this. Well, after Gerome is finished snuggling the kitten.
