So, we know Odalia couldn’t have talked to Eda when they were both in the Archives because Eda was pretending to be the Owlbeast 24/7. But do you think Odalia and Lilith ever spoke during that time?
GOOD FUCKING QUESTION. And I hope so!
It's honestly something I'm wondering about writing during the Archives scene in Chapter 5 of Family Jewels. Because Lilith's been an important character to Family Jewels and Odalia, and I do really like the idea of, "Hey we may not get along anymore but I'm grateful for the chance to talk to Anyone during the apocalypse" but also I... can't really think of any conversation they'd have/would fit the fic other than, "oh boy the apocalypse sure does suck doesn't it"??
Suggestions are very welcome because I would love more Odalia and Lilith interaction, and more ideas for what to do with the garbage girlboss when she's one of the only non-puppet people around.

I forgot to mention how happy I am that Belos didn't die a quick and/or off screen death like we see in many animated shows. They made that fucker slowly melt away in acid rain while the embodiment of the thing he sought to destroy stared down at him. Then the witches he hated with all his being literally stomped him to death.
Just like Raine said, "That was extremely satisfying"

I'm seething at the untapped potential of the Lilith And Hunter dynamic, imagine going to see your sister and seeing that your former colleague/rival is sleeping on her couch in the ugliest shirt you've ever seen, he looks like he hasn't slept in 4 days (normal) and has also been crying (not as normal) and then your sister tells you he's wanted for treason and he is now your new nephew, you suddenly remember the time you tried to trip this kid down a flight of stairs and tore up his Limited Edition Emperors Coven Poster when he asked you to sign it, and by the look on his face he ALSO remembers and he doesn't plan to forget OR forgive your transgressions

What do the Archivists look like without their mask thingy?
they look however they wish to
I like the idea of them being able to take form they might find most useful in the moment, sticking to humanoid out of convenience and familiarity. Kinda like The Collector after being released first took form in giant floating cloak and then settled for one similar in size to King
It would be super difficult to play with someone 1/10 of your height

Didn't Dana confirm that both Alador and Odalia are straight?
I've seen people claim she said that in the last post-Hoot, but having watched it, all she said about them was that they're divorced, no idea how people got sexualities out of that.
Anyway Dana's always been clear that anything she says outside the show is just her personal headcanon and should not be taken as law. I would never do any character the insult of insisting they're straight, just because the creator said so.

Raine, Eber, and Darius are the most obvious rebels ever but it’s so funny how Terra was like. Raine and Eber make sense. DARIUS?? I AM SHOCKED. Darius, who suspiciously hangs out with unsurprising rebel Eberwolf 24/7. Darius, who’s moody and has beef with the primary weapons designer for the Emperor’s Coven. Darius, who started being affectionate to Hunter right before he went AWOL and fought Adrian.

to be honest a friend of mine did point this out but, why didn't eda or lilith use their staffs more after losing their magic? they should still be able to use them if powerless people like luz, hunter, and caleb all can use staffs.
I know part of it was wanting them to use glyphs, which is fine, but technically there's no reason they can't just continue to do powerful spells with their staffs given since the curse shouldn't affect that aspect? It’s never been shown to affect eda’s usage of it, just her internal magic.
And it’s shown that palisman have their own internal magic since magicless individuals can use them.
Like the scene with lilith and hooty in Seperate Tides is great, but really, lilith should logically just use her staff to get the firebee honey and it’s more unusual she doesn’t try it.
The show really never provides any reason why neither sister uses their staffs again outside of flight, it's very odd.
You get a lot of great scenes. like how eda gets her harpy form, which seems like the exchange given for her loss of magic. But she has owlbert, and the palisman are treated somewhat like disability aids, so it’s weird he never came up much again when eda had become entirely powerless.
You don't think about it in the moment but looking back, i think the crew overlooked this aspect cause it is a bit of a plothole.
It’s not something that ruins the show mind you, but when you think about it it means there were a lot of situations they could of still used staff magic to get out of and the show and characters just completely ignore the idea without giving us a reason for it.
